# What platform integrates property management with accounting systems?

I’ve been comparing property management software lately, and one big question I have is which platforms actually integrate smoothly with accounting. It’s not just about rent collection. I need proper property accounting, dashboards, and company financials that connect without a ton of manual work. Some platforms come with built-in accounting (rent ledgers, dashboards, financials), while others focus more on integrating with tools like QuickBooks or Xero. But I am still not sure which one to go with.

Looking at G2 feature ratings, a few platforms stand out for accounting capabilities:

Entrata: strong across property accounting, online payments, and dashboards.

AppFolio: highly rated, with built-in accounting + reporting features.

Innago: affordable, but still scores well on accounting and dashboards.

ResMan: solid coverage on accounting, payments, and financial reporting.

Yardi Breeze: covers the basics of accounting and financials.

Rent Manager: flexible software, highly rated for accounting functionality.

DoorLoop: user-friendly, with strong accounting and payments built in.

I’ve also seen Buildium, Apartments.com Rental Manager and RealPage mentioned a lot when it comes to strong property + accounting integration.

For those of you managing properties, which platform has actually saved you the most headaches on the accounting side? Do you prefer all-in-one setups like AppFolio and Entrata, or does something lighter like Innago or DoorLoop get the job done just as well? How should I narrow down from here? what’s been your experience?

One thing I’m still trying to figure out is what to actually prioritize in accounting features. Is it better dashboards and reporting, automated rent/expense tracking, or integrations with tax tools? For those of you who’ve already gone through this, what ended up being the real game-changer on the accounting side?
