It is capable of handling large shipping volumes and offers different solutions depending on the number of labels required. Additionally, Proship holds the necessary certifications with major traditional carriers, which simplifies the process of onboarding a new carrier by making it easier to obtain the required approvals to begin shipping. As carriers continue to introduce more complexity into their contractual terms, it has become increasingly important to carefully balance the carrier mix in order to secure the best possible discounts. Although system downtimes are minimal, we have noticed that when support tickets are opened, the response times can vary significantly, regardless of the urgency of the issue. Many of our rules are highly customized to meet the constantly evolving needs of the business. As a result, upgrades tend to be more costly and take longer to implement than we initially expect. Additionally, the system requires a considerable amount of manual input from the business side, such as having to manually enter future holiday schedules from carriers to ensure the most current date shopping rules are applied.
