"Very quick and easy way to import, export and create label prints of any kind."

What do you like best about MarkMagic?

The customizability such as setting up printjobs, and being able to export and import different formats. Also the fact that it is all in browser and there is no need to install any software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkMagic?

Nothing in particular, there are some small bugs, but it is overall very cohesive and even using it daily, it is easy to integrate for whatever reasons I use it for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Legacy software that just works"

What do you like best about MarkMagic?

We have worked with MarkMagic and the deployment team for many years. It has been a pleasure doing so as the software is customizable and well suited for use on IBM i platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkMagic?

We have rarely faced development issues with MarkMagic. When recommending the software and in final quotations, there may be pushback from customers on pricing. I believe other applications such as Bartender are less expensive but are not as useful for enterprise printing. In that regard, MarkMagic may not be for everyone. What problems is MarkMagic solving and how is that benefiting you?

Many times our clients will approach us with a specific printing need. For example, needing to export shipping labels as PDFs from their WMS in order to work with dropshippers. We were happy to know MarkMagic can handle tasks such as this, which saved the client enormous amounts of money and resources by not having to print the labels. "A worry free forms experience for the IBM i"

What do you like best about MarkMagic?

It is a rock solid product. After you have the forms designed the way you want them it is a set it and forget it product. I never have any issues with the product. It works well and creates great looking forms. We produce hundreds of documents using MarkMagic every single day and never have an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkMagic?

What do you like best about MarkMagic?

The GUI interface is easy to learn. As someone who is self taught using it, it was intuitive to pick up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkMagic?

Not sure about later versions, but custom packingslips were always a pain do to the 30 character text limit. Lots of moving around to get it to look correct. What you see in the software doesn't always line out on how it prints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for the feedback Sean! As of version 10 the maximum field length has been increased to 350 characters for *HEADING Text and Data Fields and HP PCL5 Laser Fields. "Reliable OEM product"

What do you like best about MarkMagic?

We have been working with Cybra to integrate their printing software into our customers' software systems. It has been a big win win for both our customers and ourselves. We are better off being able to provide our customers with a powerful label printing tool that can be reused rather than having to outsource client's needs over and over. What do you like best about MarkMagic?

As mentioned it is one of the few pieces of software that runs natively on the IBM i.

What do you dislike about MarkMagic?

Where I have run into problems with MarkMagic is in using 2D barcodes. The time to generate 2D barcodes is substantially longer than a similar 1D linear barcode.
