When doing scheduling for utility construction projects, P6 is the scheduling software we use! And, it is amazing. Helps logically order and plan out the activities. Shows us the critical path activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best?
My favorite part about P6 is the Gantt Chart. It gives everyone a nice visualization of how the project is scheduled out. The visual representation can show what dates the activities are starting and ending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

P6 is very common and useful system for project scheduling. It's claim digger feature allows you to easily compare two schedules. You can change the filters, layout, and views easily. You can learn the program quick if you've never used it before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
