What problems is Huron Consulting Group solving and how is that benefiting you?

Huron is market leader in solving education and health consulting problems in salesforce world. Apart from salesforce, it also works in RCM, oracle, workday and many other areas. Huron has enabled many universities to embrace CRM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Huron Consulting Group?

They are very great at recommending things and things that have been sucessful with other universities. I do find the consultants tend to be really friend and intellinget with their recommendations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huron Consulting Group?

I dislike the pace of how they handlet thier workload. We have been waiting on certainbusiness objectives for weeks and because of the size of the project and approvals things have been taking a lot longer and we have had to push back the timeline twice already. Recommendations to others considering Huron Consulting Group:

If you have the time for sure go with Huron but if you are looking for a quicker implementation it sounds like there are other partner firms out there that can be of benefit. It is nice they are local to Illinois and are willing to travel to out campus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Huron Consulting Group solving and how is that benefiting you?

Huron Consulting is helping with our college Workday implementation for our Finance system. It seems so be a lot more user friendly and will help us not lose track of records. they started this project over a year ago and still are not complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Would Recommend with a Caveat"

Describe the project or task Huron Consulting Group helped with:

Huron assisted with implementing Salesforce for roughly 400 users across two businesses. It was a new launch replacing a previous CRM system. They also built an in-house custom CPQ app on the Force.com platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Huron Consulting Group?

The price was affordable and the team is very friendly and easy to work with. They are improving but still have some work to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huron Consulting Group?

Although their consultants have been improving there were several issues with implementation. They missed several key items in our SOW. It felt like they wanted to implement as quickly as possible so they could move on the next project. There were critical best practices to which they did not adhere. Either their staff wasn't too experienced or the deadlines were too aggressive. But, regardless, there were hiccups during implementation that my Salesforce IT team is still trying to clean up. We continue to find areas within our Salesforce org that require either complete redesigning or fixing of what they had built. Those are the only reasons I gave 6 out of 10 stars rather than 7 or 8. Recommendations to others considering Huron Consulting Group:

Although Huron Consulting as a partner has improved in recent years, I would caution to thoroughly vet their staff for experience of Salesforce and knowledge of declarative tools on Force.com. I would also execute a code review for any custom app they decided to build. Several times their team of developers suggested code instead of declarative solutions which has created a mess for us. Please do not allow them to train your users. They aren't skilled in training. Overall, just make sure to closely review all system solutions they recommend within Salesforce. What problems is Huron Consulting Group solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to translate business processes into workable Salesforce solutions by using both declarative and programmatic aspects on Force.com. Our previous CRM system had inherent inefficiencies and was ultimately a very flawed, antiquated tool. Huron was able to deploy Salesforce CRM for my company as a replacement, which in turn helped us to have improved Service and Sales processes within the system. This translated into increased productivity. They also helped us to improve mobile enablement using the Salesforce app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Huron's Click produnt line for Acedemic Medial Center..."

Describe the project or task Huron Consulting Group helped with:

My institution implemented two of the Click research support suites in 2008; and will be adding three more over the next two years. Huron offers outstanding customer support during and after the implementation process. The annual user groups are excellent and the online forums to collaborate with peer institutions are an excellent value add! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Huron Consulting Group?

Huron's support is at the top of my list; but a close second in the peer institution collaboration. The way their modules integrate and the ability to add them as your budget allows in important as well.
