What do you like best about Ooma Office?

Ooma is great. It has so many capabilities we didn't have before we started with them. They've really made our processes more efficient. Customers can text us, Ooma automatically sends our phones to the answering service if we're unavailable for a call or lines are down, you can route certain calls to certain numbers, they have chat or call in customer service if we're having problems, a dedicated marketing rep, etc. The possibilities are endless and it's so easy to use. It was simple to implement from the start and the hardware provided works great. We love Ooma! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ooma Office?

What do you like best about Ooma Office?

It was affordable for a tax-exempt non-profit. Our bill for 2 phones was about $60 / month.

Service options included in the monthly price were a fax line, a 1-800 number, a 3rd line, and an automated receptionist.

Customer service was responsive.

What do you dislike about Ooma Office?

Since the beginning, I had an issue with an extreme amount of spam calls (at least 6 daily on each phone). I tried to register the phones on do not call (both state and fed), waited the 90 days and it did nothing to reduce the spam calls.

The call quality was lacking. There was a lag time between when I would speak and when the other person would hear me. This caused issues of us seeming to talk over each other. I would hear my own voice echo.

Sometimes the WP810 Cordless Phones would not ring when a call came in and a voicemail indicator light would flash. You would have to reboot the phone to get it to ring again.

Customer service is ok. Sometimes there is a language barrier. The straw that broke the camel's back was regarding a tax on my monthly bill that was increasing over time. I let it go for a while, but as a non-profit tax-exempt organization, we do not pay tax. I inquired several times to have it removed and finally, 6 months later, the Ooma legal team responded that they would not remove it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ooma Office?

Ooma makes it easy for me to manage calls coming into my business. The system allows for me to have a automatic answering service that routes calls appropriately and reduces the need for me to answer inappropriate or unnecessary callers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ooma Office?

I would like Ooma to offer an a-la-carte option for small businesses like mine that don't have multiple phones or staff. Due to my location, I can't use Ooma's internet, and it has become quite costly to have Ooma's telephone and an alternate telephone provider. If Ooma offered a lower rate for me to use just the two lines and no other phones for around $30 a month, it would be much more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ooma Office?

Ooma Office has been amazing for our small non profit. The value and the service put it over any other company we have used. No more being on hold for hours to make adjustments or ask questions. I love the online access and how easy it is to make changes. It was a huge asset during COVID when I had to make changes to our answering service from home. What do you dislike about Ooma Office?
