What do you like best?

That it's configurable - that we can create the fields that matter to us most for tracking & reporting. That it just keeps getting better with each new release... that Conga is responsive to customer concerns and listens to customer feedback. I like that each user can customize his/her view - which columns they want to see in which order they want to see them, which portlets to include on the user-specific dashboard... I like that search queries automatically pull live data... I like that it is integrateable with Salesforce... and I like that everyone is engaged in making sure we have our questions answered and have a positive experience. What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product:

What do you like best?

Our overall experience with Conga Contracts, from implementation to execution has been positive. Conga provides support staff from every aspect to help make the overall experince go smoothly. They even provide a great support user group, and offer continual training so that you do not go stagnet in how Conga can offer other solutions as they arise in your organization. What do you dislike?

In the very beginning, we were upsold on what we needed. We were also not given a true timeline on what to expect with data migration, setting up our platform, and getting it implemented, so it caused friction with our C level and what they expected would be done by certain points, causing more work for our Project Managment team and those inputting and setting up the platform.

Also, since I am and admin., I would like the ability to push dashboards to end users. I would like to create what I need them to see and push it to them, as many end users don't want to take the time to create these dashboards. I know what is important to each end user, so I would like to be able to create these and then push to them. Also, you recently took away the ability to search for the contract purpose in the search results. This is an important feature needed in our organization, so I would like to see it broght back this year if possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The key problems is the storage of are many contracts, as well as helping us to organize the structure and flow of the contracts. When renewing current contracts, it is often hard to track previous version and how they are related to the current contract. Conga has helped us streamline this process. It also keeps us informed on when key actions are needed for a contract--e.g. executing an out clause. Conga also helps me keep track of key language in contracts so I don't have to scan and dig through a contract to find the language needed to address a question --e.g. are we able to share the resources data with outside clients Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The upside is having a repostory where all Users can log on and see the way each contract is setiup and ewahat status we are at with it.

A bit mroe security agaimnst Contract Groups. Instead of purchasing new instances every time for my clients. Why not make the security based against the Contract Group?

What do you like best?

Conga contracts is a great application to store contracts, to streamline workflows, or to integrate an esignature solution such as DocuSign. The additional forms allow you to customize the data you need to capture based on your specific industry. The hands on support is always helpful to trouble shoot issues. API funcitonality allows you to create a metadata fields to be captured to abide by federal regulatory requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Conga contracts does not offer the functionality of customization based on industry. Super user entitlements, maker check functionality, workflow automation to feed to additonal forms, and lastly the negotiation feature is a straight forward wasy platform to use. What do you like best?

Conga Contracts has a great workflow tool and simplicity and allows customization to fit your business needs. It is easy enough to use and has good security features regarding contract access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not flexible to edit or pull back submissions. This may just be the way my company has this set up but once submitted the user cannot edit the contract request until it is rejected in the workflow by one of the approvers. This causes unnecessary delays and resets the request back to draft status meaning you need to redo the workflow completely. We also do not have it integrated with any signing tool or document management platform for easy collaboration on "in-process" contracts which would make it a TON better. Recommendations to others considering the product:

If implemented, I would look at a full CLM tool and properly set it up this way to be a full-stop-shop to edit, review, collaborate, approve, and sign contracts. It is much more useful this way and would eliminate a ton of back and forth email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Our Contract process with Conga couldn't be a better fit. With ease of use our sales team has the quickest and stress free process of sending agreements with a link and having them accept within secs. Clunky. Opening view redlines, then open word, confuses our reps. The negotiate feature has been really hard to roll out and get users to adopt. They don't want to send the email via conga, but from their outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
