"Simplifies Cross-Browser Testing with Robust Features"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like how BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-environment testing easy without needing to maintain our own infrastructure. It provides quick access to a wide range of browsers, operating systems, and device configurations, allowing us to validate our application behavior efficiently across multiple environments. I appreciate how well it integrates with our automation workflow, especially running Playwright-based end-to-end tests, helping us detect compatibility issues early in the development cycle. The debugging feature with logs, screenshots, and session recordings is really helpful for quickly identifying the root cause of failures. The tunneling capability is invaluable for testing local or staging environments not publicly accessible. Furthermore, integrating BrowserStack with Percy for visual regression testing allows us to catch unintended UI changes and maintain consistent design across releases. Overall, BrowserStack significantly simplifies cross-browser testing, improves the reliability of our testing process, and saves time by eliminating the need to manually manage multiple test environments. What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

While BrowserStack is very helpful overall, there are a few areas where improvements could make the experience even better. Occasionally, test sessions can be a bit slow to start, especially when running multiple automated tests in parallel. This can slightly increase the overall execution time of our test suites. Another area that could be improved is the debugging experience for failed automation runs. While BrowserStack does provide logs, screenshots, and recordings, sometimes it takes a bit of time to navigate through the information to quickly identify the root cause of a failure. There are also times when certain browser or device environments may feel slightly slower compared to running tests locally. Improving performance and reducing latency during live debugging sessions would make the workflow smoother. Additionally, clearer insights or analytics around test failures and performance trends could help teams diagnose issues faster. Enhancements in reporting and easier ways to analyze failures across multiple runs would make the platform even more powerful for larger automation suites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Cross-Platform Testing, Needs Improved Peak Time Performance"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I use BrowserStack for testing our front-end web applications, both in web and mobile views. I appreciate its availability of different web browser - OS combinations and the wide variety of devices on the cloud device farm, which really helps validate our applications effectively. I like the availability of different web and mobile devices for use at all times. Newer features like Percy and accessibility testing tools are a great addition to our team's test coverage. Percy helps us identify visual issues (UX issues) on our application by comparing with stable reference images, reducing the effort needed to identify such issues manually. It was simple and straightforward to set up; I logged in to the platform and started using the devices/browsers right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I see connection time out errors during peak usage hours. The overall experience also feels slower at that time. Some devices are also unavailable during those hours. These issues could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extensive Device Support, Slight Learning Curve"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like the amount of different iOS and Android devices/versions you can use with BrowserStack. When you click on it, you can select any iPhone or Android from a wide range, including older models like a Google Pixel 6. Helping a variety of clients means I need access an app on various platforms or software versions, and it allows me to go on and have the exact same app experience that they have. This is really helpful when something's wrong so we can fix it or show clients how to actually work it properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

It's not very user-friendly at first, but that's only because of how much it actually supports. Once you know how to use it, it's very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Cross-Device QA, Quick Setup"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like that BrowserStack keeps hardware profiles for older devices and web browsers while also staying current with the latest releases. The connections to these devices are quick and easy to use. I also find it very helpful that I can replicate issues with older browser versions without needing to downgrade my work laptop, as I can just use BrowserStack to access any specific version needed for testing. The initial setup was very easy; it was just a matter of registering and beginning to use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

There have been times where connections to devices were a little slow or unavailable. There's also a growing number of features that are visible in the UI but are locked behind higher subscription tiers. That can get annoying, seeing consistent features that would be nice to have, but are locked to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Testing with Real Devices but Server Lag Issues"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I used BrowserStack primarily for testing our mobile product with various devices. The main thing is we don't have enough devices to test with all of the environments, including operating systems, and versions in the app. BrowserStack helps us with more optional devices, so we can cover many possibilities and prevent hidden issues. I believe that BrowserStack is quite easy to run and use compared to other platforms. I am able to select devices with different versions, which really helps a lot to investigate issues. Besides that, BrowserStack uses real emulated devices, which is much better than the simulator ones. For manual processes, it is quite easy as you just need email approval and the guidelines are quite easy to use. I also use BrowserStack for Automation testing, as we implement Playwright and use BrowserStack devices to run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I think sometimes the server is quite laggy, especially from my location in Vietnam. Running a full-functioning app can be difficult and cause lag. Also, other functions of the devices like notifications, zoom, and location are quite hard to figure out and use. Additionally, on a personal project level, the price and fees are a bit high compared to my country, although it's easier when the company pays for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Cross-Browser and Device Testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I use BrowserStack mainly for cross-browser and cross-device testing of web applications. I like that I can test on real devices and different browser versions without setting up anything locally. It solves the problem of testing across multiple browsers, OS, and devices without needing to maintain physical machines or device labs. I also enjoy how I can integrate BrowserStack with automation tools like Playwright, which helps run tests faster and works well within my testing workflows. The initial setup was straightforward; we just needed to create an account and configure it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I experience occasional slowness when starting new sessions or connecting to browsers. It usually happens when starting a new device or browser session, taking a bit longer to connect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good tool for day-to-day validations"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

This tool allows me, as a manual QA to quickly test our product on different devices at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

the biggest headache with BrowserStack is the latency; since you’re accessing a remote device, there’s often a noticeable lag between your click and the screen responding. It’s also frustrating when you're in the middle of a flow and the session randomly times out or a real device isn't available right when you need it. While it’s an amazing tool for coverage, those little performance hiccups can definitely test your patience during a busy release cycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly UI with Great Support"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I find that the UI is user-friendly, and the documentation is pretty straightforward. It's super easy for me to integrate my local involvement, meaning the scripts and configuration changes are simple to handle. The setup was pretty easy too, and using it along with creating scripts is straightforward and amazing. There was great support, and having folks to connect with and understand more made things even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

So, yeah, for when we are using progress tech and, tech and, when we are, you know, we are trying to record the flow that we are trying when we are, you know, we are trying to record the flow that we are trying to implement our script, right, for native mobile app. Through Appium inspector. I see that we, don't have to constantly refresh after each click or mostly action, when we do. So that's a part where I can look into. At least everything is good. "BrowserStack Review"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Cross-browser testing, cross-device testing, or cross-platform testing are all problems that Browserstack is great at solving. A slick programme with good performance is browser stack. While using browserstack, I have never had bugs or timeouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Given that the plans now offered are somewhat pricey, it might be beneficial to offer a less priced plan for simple users who don't want all the services. Additionally, you cannot test numerous browsers at the same time, which may be advantageous for consumers who regularly switch between them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Real Device Testing with Easy Setup"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I use BrowserStack for real device testing, which helps solve the problem of inconsistent user experience. I really like the accuracy of real device testing, and it enhances performance testing by enabling early detection, which reduces debugging complexity. The automation feature is highly valuable to me, allowing parallel testing and facilitating automated browsing across all servers. I also find the real device coverage useful. The initial setup of BrowserStack was easy, allowing us to start testing immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I'm not thrilled with BrowserStack's debugging limitations. I also feel like it could use deeper dev tools integration. On top of that, there's limited device coverage, which isn't ideal for testing across a broader range of devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
