What do you like best about Axero?

I like creating spaces for each department and seeing their updates. It's great for company-wide communication announcements, providing a single place to house all updates and communications. If you want your department space to look like a website, then Axero is for you. People can collaborate, comment on videos, and post or articles you share. When you create a space, you have a place for your department to house all updates, org charts, or anything related to your department which others in the organization can access, view, and collaborate on. Also, Axero support is amazing, and I remember we had a weekly meeting with Dom from Axero. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Axero?

It can be a bit challenging because sometimes you need to learn some coding and if you really want your space to look great you have to really learn the ins and outs like uploading raw HTML, copying and pasting stuff from Canva, and embed codes to Axero. What do you like best about Axero?

Axero has been constantly improving their already well-developed platform. The uptime and responsiveness of the webpages is great, and users love the look and feel of it. The administration is simple and easy to understand, more importantly it has well documented administrative processes. The support has been very attentive for the few times I've had to reach out with questions. I think one of the best examples is Axero recently updating and releasing ACME for our internal website. They took it upon themselves to provide real benefit to their users, without charging any extra or causing any issues on roll out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Axero?

I like that I can easily communicate important long updates that include documentation, which people can easily consult in the future, without having to resort to email or Slack. The search functionality is very limited. If we want to build something more complex, like indicating the target persona or using other customized filters or variables, we would need to get a developer involved, which defeats the whole purpose of having a user-friendly platform. What do you like best about Axero?

Axero provides an interface and administration capabilities that are so easy to use, and the customization options are truly endless. What do you like best about Axero?

I appreciate that we can house all important information in one place for employees to access when needed. I also like that we can customize things to our preferences. Not having to update documents in multiple places is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Axero?

I can't think of any, but I am also not the one uploading content and didn't participate in the implementation, sp there could be some things in those areas that could be included - I just don't know. I imagine for those who do have to upload new content or make updates to items currently on the site, may have a little bit of complaint, only in that it is something they have to keep track of and maintain. What do you like best about Axero?

The Customer Support team. They continuously assist us with all our needs in a timely matter. They are consistently rolling out new features and updates that keep up with the needs of our employee base. The Page Builder feature is very intuitive and easy to use. What do you like best about Axero?

We transitioned from a clunky, hard-to-manage and maintain SharePoint intranet to Axero. The implementation was faster and smoother than planned, allowing us to launch it a month early and accelerating initial adoption! It has also been quick and easy to spin up new spaces and wikis as needed to support internal initiatives and communications.

Our primary uses are as a content repository, digital bulletin board, and recognition tool. We also use Teams, so we do not utilize many of Axero's collaboration capabilities beyond rating content and the recognition tool.

Customer Support is timely in their responses and open to recommendations for future features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Axero?

While Customer Support always responds, they are not always able to meet our needs and point us to requesting future functionality. They could do a better job of keeping us informed of updates on a more regular basis and of updating their online support materials.

With the rapid acceleration of GenAI, we are now challenged with how best to balance the tagging and search functionality of our Axero content repository with our Microsoft CoPilot Studio AI Agent which is not able to mine the file folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Axero?

Departmental spaces—especially for Investment Advisors, HR, Marketing, and Leadership—have become essential hubs. These areas host our most viewed content, including quarterly financial perspectives and executive updates, helping teams stay aligned and informed.

From startup homepage settings to email link integration, Axero has proven relatively easy to configure and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Axero?

Axero’s folder/file permissions appear to be self-contained and not inherited from Active Directory (AD), which could complicate centralized access control and user management. Based on our network and permissions setup, we're not yet able to formulate how this integration would look long-term.

With regards to reliability and site availability, we did experience an intranet outage on January 10, 2025 that was traced to Axero's hosting environment (running on Azure's East US 2 Region). While this was resolved promptly, it highlights a dependency on third-party infrastructure and a need for contingency planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Axero?

I appreciate how easy it is to use, both from the user's perspective on the frontend and from the organization's side when managing things through the dashboard or backend.
