**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Very straightforward and easy to follow instructions made integrating video into a course quite simple. EdPuzzle was quite robust in performance. I'm not sure of the pricing as I used it as part of work.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Honestly I didn't have anything negative to say about EdPuzzle. I was able to dig right in and get what I needed on the first try. The supporting documents answered any questions that I came up with. I really can't see any applications that I use that EdPuzzle did not have.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to integrate questions within a video that helps me explain teachable moments to my students while allowing them to watch the video at their pace.

I find that with EdPuzzle, I can capture and keep my students’ attention, even when we’re covering difficult subjects.

I teach special education students of all levels of understanding and EdPuzzle often makes clear with video what a simple lesson plan cannot

  ### 4. Engaging LMS Integration with Real-Time Student Monitoring and Feedback

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I really enjoy that it is engaging and integrates with our LMS system. You can monitor student results in real time and provide live feedback.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

The free version of the product is very limited - but good enough to trial test it before purchasing.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live management of student learning and easy assessment features.

  ### 5. Holds Students Accountable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey B. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Holding students accountable when watching a video.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

It is tricky to get it to work embedded into our Schools LMS.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students often skip through education videos and do not watch them. If they do watch them, they are not reflecting on the video as it is progressing. EdPuzzle allows students to do this.

  ### 6. EdPuzzle with Canvas LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

It is a great tool for engaging students and getting feedback during the learning process.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Not much to dislike. I think it is a great product. At times troubleshooting a teacher's integration can be a challenge, but overall we use this product seemlessly with our Canvas LMS.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdPuzzle has been used in our district for years, but became a valuable tool for our students when we launched our Canvas LMS. The integraton of EdPuzzle with Canvas makes the grading process much easier for our teachers.

  ### 7. My experience with Ed puzzle

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda T. | Education COnsultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love the variety of teaching support in the platform

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I wish it was state standards aligned more

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn't have to create as much for my classroom

  ### 8. Flexible, reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2023

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I can quickly and easily build learning experiences for any video on YouTube - including ones I have made myself!

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Fees and limits - but I am lucky that my district pays for premium. I would be lost without it.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students often engage with video when they will not read text. Controls and reports on student interaction as well as providing feedback from students.

  ### 9. Use Edpuzzle to educate!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hope K. | E, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

It is a very creative way to present information. You can use different features to present material. Use a mini-movie, a video, a music video, or other types of video, and the students can interact with it. You can pose questions for comprehension and thought processing. You have complete control of the particulars of the video to review at stopping points. You can also slow it down or speed it up! The students then submit their answers for you to see how they did.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I really can't think of a particular issue that I dislike about Edpuzzle, But Edpuzzle has a set amount of features, but I would like it to perhaps allow the students to be able to create Edpuzzles or create alternate endings of videos. Edpuzzle uses already created videos and has a variety to choose from. Edpuzzle does not use captions automatically.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of specific comprehension skills. I can stop and start the media at different points to review, or emphasize the content presented. I can also choose other users' videos that they created that are good! I can also share mine.

  ### 10. EdPuzzle Helps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynette S. | 8th grade math teacher

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2022

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Student paced with immediate feedback options.
Ease of use with instructional videos on Youtube

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Nothing to dislike in an independent setting

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to use EdPuzzles when I need to be absent. Instruction and feedback are imbedded

  ### 11. EdPuzzle for Teachers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan W. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I like that EdPuzzle allows me to assign my students videos to watch, and it tracks if they have watched the video. I can also insert questions throughout the video to check their understanding.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

There is a learning curve on how to edit videos and and add questions. There also seems to be a lot of unnecessary clicking to get to each class's gradebook and assignments.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdPuzzle has been great for remote learning, and I have continued to use it even with all my students in person for an additional option when students are absent.

  ### 12. Ed puzzle for Education

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan T. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2022

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

The ease of classroom management in edpuzzle makes it an essential tool for teachers.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I dislike how the schoology integration is set up. I wish it was more similar to his google classroom functions with edpuzzle.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students are able to learn and see mastery in real time.

  ### 13. Changed My Homework For The Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James T. | English Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

EdPuzzle has revolutionized how I teach, especially as relates to homework assignments. In the past, it was hard to ensure students were completing an assignment. Now I give that assignment as an EdPuzzle, disable skipping, and insert the questions throughout the video instead of in a worksheet. Student comprehension is WAY up, and cheating is WAY down. 10/10 recommend.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

The gradesheet on EdPuzzle can take a few seconds to load, especially if you use EdPuzzle frequently and have a lot of assignments.

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

It's perfect for homework assignments!

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I use EdPuzzle for my at-home reading, I've noticed tremendous gains in student comprehension and completion. Test scores are up, and my students are less likely to cheat or skim.

  ### 14. Fantastic Tool for Remote Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen R. | Mathematics Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

EdPuzzle has been a wonderful platform to use for remote video sharing to groups of people. There are many features, but by far the best are the data analytics and organizational layout.

Upon assigning a video to a class and setting a due date (and time even), the classroom page will show when the video was last accessed, what percentage of the video is complete, and will store a grade for the video (if quiz questions are added within the video). On that note, the teacher can insert questions within a video for students to answer, and may choose whether the students can skip over sections of the video, or have to stop and pause anywhere before moving on.

The organization is a life-saver. The teacher can store content within folders, and then can assign a video from that folder. EdPuzzle is also connected to other platforms, such as YouTube or Khan Academy, where videos can also be pulled from.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

There have been issues with uploading videos directly from my device to the site. I have had to upload videos to YouTube first and then to EdPuzzle, in order to make it work smoothly. There is also limited space to store videos on EdPUzzle without getting the Pro version.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdPuzzle has been a very good way to show a concept to students via video, while also assessing for understanding with the inserted questions. It is also a great way to allow students to work at their own pace, to stop and pause when needed, or even skip ahead for faster learners, something they cannot do in a regular classroom.

  ### 15. Love for EdPuzzle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie P. | Third grade dual language, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

It is very easy to use and has many functions to use in every subject. I like how it now works with the LMS Google Classroom. It has made the ability to assign a video very easy to use and assign. The ability to copy and create a video with questions and comments allows you to tailor the video to your needs for your classroom.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

They are adding functions all the time, which has been great! There is nothing that I dislike about Ed Puzzle.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using it in every subject in third grade. It is a great tool to use with blended learning. I like to customize the videos for my class and then assign it through Google Classroom. I can watch as students finish and reassign it to them if they haven't accomplished the desired score.

  ### 16. Easy and Engaging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Edpuzzle is an easy way to provide video content to students while still measuring their comprehension. This can be done with questions that are inserted throughout the video, or at the end. Students can respond with a free-response, True or False, or multiple choice answers. It is also useful to see how much of the video students watched (in live time).

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I dislike that Edpuzzle does not work well with Google Classroom. It is not possible to assign an Edpuzzle assignment to select students on Google Classroom, whereas it is possible with Canvas. If Edpuzzle were more compatible with Google Classroom, I would use it more often. It would help me with differentiation in the classroom.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I was teaching online, it would not have been possible to stream videos or films on Zoom without seriously impacting the bandwidth. However, I was able to use Edpuzzle to post videos for students to view at their own pace. This was useful in that I could select the content I wanted, make modifications and shorten it, and insert questions for check-in as needed.

  ### 17. Great way to add accountability for viewing videos

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace M. | Library Instructor, Instructional Technology Liaison, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2020

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

EdPuzzle lets you add questions to an existing video; the viewer must answer before the video will resume. One great feature is that you can set the playback to disable skipping ahead.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I think the only feature EdPuzzle doesn't have that I wish it did would be the ability to cut portions of the video you want to assign. You can select a segment of a longer video, but you can't delete something from the middle of a video.

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

We went with the pro version because it allowed teachers to have more videos, as well as allowing better integration with Schoology.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdPuzzle allows teachers to assign a video to students with some accountability as to whether the students actually watched the video. You can use all multiple choice questions if you want, so that the assignment is auto-graded, or you can use open-ended questions if you prefer. You can also just insert notes (like "This is important!" or "Notice how the music matches the mood of this segment").

  ### 18. Great for Virtual Assignments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany H. | Classroom Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I like that I can use it with any video for my classes. I love having the video stop where I want it to and ask questions. I think it is wonderful for virtual assignments.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Not really anything that I dislike about it.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that it makes my videos more interactive and more engaging.

  ### 19. Where has this been all my life?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love that there is a massive library of already created videos and questions, but I can also make and share my own as well. It keeps students engaged and they can replay one section of the video if needed to answer the question.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Edpuzzle needs to have a way to force students not to fast forward their video, especially if it is the first time the student is watching it.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows students to self-check their understanding as they watch a video. It increases attention when they know that they will be assessed along the way.

  ### 20. A Great Way to Encourage Student Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberta Z. | School Counselor, Mental Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love that edpuzzle requires students to answer clarifying questions as they go through a video or lesson to make sure that they were paying attention. I also like that it allows for checks for understanding!

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

It does take quite a bit of time to set up.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low student engagement is being solved with EdPuzzle! I have realized that students are paying more attention to the lessons and directions when they are forced to answer questions.

  ### 21. EdPuzzle is great for Instant Feedback from students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2022

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love that you can embed questions into videos for students to answer to check for understanding.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I wish that other platforms integrated their videos straight into EdPuzzle, besides YouTube and Khan Academy.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can have students repeat a lesson they otherwise would not have time to do. Repeating lessons allows students the opportunity to go back and self-correct any mistakes or misconceptions.

  ### 22. Engagement and Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodi J. | E, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

My students are heavily visual, easily distracted, and uniquely diverse; EdPuzzle let's me engage students using audio and visual multimedia while also collecting data on their understanding of the content via embedded questions. I enjoy it, but kids REALLY prefer it!

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Creating the content can be time consuming if you opt to use something that's not premade content. Free users can only have 10 active videos.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits include: insightful data updated in real time, compatibility with Google Classroom/ Gsuite, ability to customize content/ trim videos to exclude unwanted content, interest from students.

  ### 23. EdPuzzle - Great for flipped or virtual classrooms

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love that you can see how long the students spent on the videos and putting in questions for the students. Great professional development videos.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

It can take awhile for uploaded videos to be able to accessed.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When giving students assignments for homework or virtual work, I can easily see their progress and the time they spent on the work.

  ### 24. Great resource for independent work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Ease of use - just upload a video and add your questions or use one that another user uploaded already. You can make changes to existing videos.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I would like to have a full account so I can upload unlimited videos. Also, I would like notifications telling me which students did which assignments.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SO many options for independent work when in person or in zoom!!! Students can work self-directed or with partners, or with the whole class.

  ### 25. Ed Puzzle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love the ability to imbed questions for my students to monitor their thinking and comprehension regarding a specific topic, lesson, or activity.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Sometimes the video does not work or glitch

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

Stay with it but always search before creating your own!

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the ability to quickly assess student understanding about a topic for pre or post assessments.

  ### 26. For all learning environments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alana T. | Science Teacher, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love that you can create your videos and embed questions for students to answer

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I really do not have anything I dislike.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It definitely works for an asynchronous or synchronous environment and it holds kids accountable for watching the videos. I like that you can use it while students have a sub as well.

  ### 27. Great way to engage students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love that students can complete the assignments at your own pace. There are so many different video assignments to add to the curriculum.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I wish students could respond with audio recordings

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I particularly assign a lot of read alouds with comprehension questions for students who need extra reading support. It helps them feel confident with class reading assignments

  ### 28. EdPuzzle, the best video activities for students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernardo d. | Middle/High School Teacher

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Provides engagement to students, easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I miss the ability to release grades when the teacher decides, instead of immediately after finishing. Otherwise a must.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To address individually in an engaging manner the needs of my ESL students.

  ### 29. Great tool for educators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2020

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I like the interactive feature that Edpuzzle allows in the posted videos. So I can assign a video and, throughout the video, insert questions to check my students' comprehension and keep them engaged while watching. It's often not enough to simply assign a video. Not all students will view it in its entirety, even though they say they did. So the question feature is excellent. Additionally, I am actually able to see each student's progress towards completion on watching the video. This gives me an accurate count of who has finished the assignment and who is still working on it, or worse hasn't started at all. I also like that I can upload my own videos, thereby allowing me to tailor my students' learning instead of just relying on the videos that are already available in the Edpuzzle library.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

One aspect of Edpuzzle that I had to work around was the video file types that were acceptable for upload. I often record videos using my document camera, which saves the videos as .webm files, I think. Well, Edpuzzle unfortunately doesn't accept that particular file type. As a solution, I uploaded the video to my YouTube account and then searched for that YouTube video through Edpuzzle.

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

For individuals considering using EdPuzzle in their classrooms, I highly recommend it. The site is great for recording/posting lessons and providing digital support for students. It is simple to use, and in this time of COVID-19, seems critical for students. Instead of just assigning videos, teachers can assess the students' focus and understanding while watching the video. There are excellent videos to incorporate into the curriculum, and you can even share videos with other teachers at your school.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With EdPuzzle, I am able to record ACT prep videos in which I talk through the questions and passages and share think-alouds and grammatical strategies to remember. Edpuzzle really helps when I want to provide assistance for students who are absent and also when I want to provide resources for the students to progress through at their own pace.

  ### 30. Love at First Click

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise W. | Instructor: Biology, English, Family and Consumer Sciences, Art

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2021

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

That they must view the video completely to get a grade.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I am concerned about the expense, I am currently using the free version.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The students with short attentions spans are excited.

  ### 31. Years of Love for Edpuzzles!! Fantastic for Remote Learning!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan T. | Secondary High School Science Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2020

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

The entire concept is so awesome and useful! I can upload any videos or find completed videos with questions from the library (so helpful). The integration with Google Classroom is such a time saver. The Gradebook is so easy and functional. The ability to embed the video into an LMS is great. There are soooo many pluses to this. Also, I can share my stuff directly with teachers at my school.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

Sometimes it is a bit slow, but I think that is primary due to traffic on the website. I also do not like that I have to delete my classes to change schools, as I like to keep a class up from the year before to help guide my lessons.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used this for online lessons for several years and I think it is especially helpful in the current climate. I appreciate there is such a good tool to help teachers right now!

  ### 32. Great addition to any classroom- especially for online learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2020

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

Edpuzzle is an excellent resource to use in your classroom. My favorite feature is the formative 'quiz' questions you can insert into any video. This keeps students engaged and allows you to see their progress.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I have had some issues with the voice-over feature, but that may have been resolved.

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

Edpuzzle is well worth it. Students love it, and once you figure it out it is a breeze for teachers.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Edpuzzle works great as a flipped classroom, a formative assessment tool, and students have mentioned that they love assignments in Edpuzzle. If you use the LMS Canvas, a great benefit is that Edpuzzle scores can get directly linked to your gradebook, meaning no grading for you.

  ### 33. Good Software

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

Good educational software and training for teachers, There are lots can help students learn and assess their learning. Also, teachers can give short quizzes while the video is running. I think every teacher and student even parents can be part of this application software

Some tools did not fit with my work as a teacher. Those tools are required some reconsidering to fit with teacher's needs

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

Good education platform

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing school and learning products and helping the teacher to be on more control over his subject materials. Some of the tools are user friendly and can easily be worked on and practice

  ### 34. EdPuzzle is great...but has a few flaws

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I love the way I can integrate it with my classes in Schoology and that it allows me to incorporate numerous ways to make sure students are paying attention to videos!

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

The grading integration! For some reason, it says that my students have zeroes until I grade their answers.

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

Use multiple choice questions

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My students are interacting more than ever with video clips and guides.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

i can rewind videos but i cant scrub to the place i want to be,i have to watch the entire portion over again, i cant choose which place i want to rewind and resume the video

**Recommendations to others considering EdPuzzle:**

sometimes youll run into problems when you try to log on, it will give you a hard time

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 36. Perfect Resource for Flipped Classroom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

I like that I can spend less class time on lecture. I can put a 20 minute lecture on Edpuzzle plus embed formative assessment/quick checks. Then, when I get to see my students face to face, I can clear up misconceptions that those assessments revealed and we can spend our class time on more activity-based learning.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

I dislike the cost. The first few videos are free, though.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Edpuzzle has been very beneficial during the COVID crisis. My students were able to continue to learn new material at their own pace.

  ### 37. WE LOVE EDPUZZLE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about EdPuzzle?**

What I like best about EdPuzzle is that holds students accountable for their work while they watch a video I assign. They don't simply have the option to zone out while watching the video. It gives them formative assessments, versus just a summative assessment at the end. If they can't move past the quick and often formative assessments, they must go back and rewatch the video clip in order to answer the questions correctly.

**What do you dislike about EdPuzzle?**

What I dislike is that it is a paid service. Since our school system does not provide it for us, we as teachers have to buy it ourselves, which isn't ideal.

**What problems is EdPuzzle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I currently haven't found any issues while using EdPuzzle, except the cost factor. The benefits are incredible, though!! It allows me to more easily shape my lessons around video content. I also like that you can pull videos from virtually anywhere, even YOUTUBE! That is a huge advantage for me because Youtube is not blocked at our school like other websites.
