"Still the best software for designers in 2026"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

What I like best about Adobe Photoshop is its unmatched versatility and professional-level control over every aspect of visual design. Whether I’m editing product photos, creating high-converting website banners, designing social media creatives, or preparing marketing materials, Photoshop gives me complete creative freedom.

The layer-based workflow is incredibly powerful. Being able to work non-destructively with smart objects, masks, and adjustment layers allows for precise edits without compromising the original file. This is especially important when refining branding visuals, enhancing product images, or testing multiple design variations.

I also appreciate the advanced selection and retouching tools. Features like Object Selection, Content-Aware Fill, and AI-powered enhancements significantly speed up workflows while maintaining professional results. Tasks that used to take hours can now be completed in minutes.

Another standout aspect is the integration within the Adobe ecosystem. Seamless collaboration with Illustrator, Lightroom, and other Creative Cloud apps makes it easy to move between projects and formats without friction.

Overall, Photoshop remains the industry standard for a reason: it combines precision, flexibility, and innovation in a way that consistently delivers high-quality, professional results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best creative photo editing software with AI tools"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

For the past year, I have been utilizing Adobe's suite of all apps for my daily productivity tasks, including photo editing, video editing, storyline drafting, and much more. Among these, Photoshop has truly stood out for me, thanks to its advanced features and remarkable AI tools. Features like Generative Edit and Harmonize are simply astounding, offering capabilities that elevate the creative process to a whole new level.

One of the most impressive aspects of Adobe's ecosystem is the seamless integration between apps. For instance, the ability to edit a photo in Photoshop and then transition back to Premiere Pro, where the changes dynamically update in real-time, is a game-changer. This interconnected workflow not only enhances efficiency but also saves valuable time, allowing me to focus more on creativity rather than juggling files or redoing edits. It’s this level of innovation and ease that has made Adobe products an indispensable part of my daily work routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

Photoshop is highly advanced software packed with numerous tools and features, resulting in a steep learning curve. Mastering it can take years, which can feel discouraging. It is not very beginner-friendly and requires significant experience to become proficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Integration and AI Tools Make Photoshop My Primary Creative Medium"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

I’ve used Adobe Photoshop almost every day for more than 25 years. It’s my primary tool for creating unique assets at work, and it’s still my favorite medium for creative expression in personal projects. Over the decades, I’ve watched Adobe continually evolve Photoshop by adding innovative features that genuinely streamline the design process.

On top of that, the ecosystem integration is unmatched. I frequently move projects between Photoshop and After Effects, and with a simple keyboard shortcut I can jump back and forth, make a quick edit in Photoshop, and save. The change updates instantly in my motion graphics project, which is a huge time-saver for my workflow.

In the past, I’ve also created promotional images for our company podcast in Photoshop to post on our social media pages. I built a basic template and saved the PSD file to my computer. Then, whenever I needed to update information, I’d launch Photoshop, open the PSD, tweak a few specific layers, and save it out as a JPG.

Overall, Photoshop consistently performs at a high level, and it’s always been easy to incorporate into whatever project I’m working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

There are very few downsides to such a robust program. That said, working with complex layers can occasionally be frustrating. My main issue comes up when I’m using the Move Tool: if I don’t click precisely inside the transform bounding box (the “blue box” around an item), I often end up selecting and moving an object from a different layer. It’s a relatively minor UI quirk, but it can still break my flow when I’m working on dense compositions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Photoshop: Complete Control from Simple Edits to Complex Projects"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop is still the most powerful image editing tool out there, and what I like most is how much control it gives me over every detail of an image. Layers, masks, blend modes, Smart Objects, selections – you can literally shape visuals exactly how you want them. I also really appreciate how useful Photoshop is for practical, everyday creative tasks, not just “advanced art.” I use it for mockups, posters, product images, social media visuals, and general design tweaks. Photoshop has great Customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

I don’t really have major complaints about Photoshop, but there are a few things worth mentioning. Photoshop is extremely powerful, which also means it comes with a learning curve – it can feel overwhelming for beginners compared to simpler tools. The subscription model may not suit everyone, especially more casual users, even though the software itself absolutely justifies its capabilities. Apart from that, it’s honestly a rock-solid, professional tool that does what it promises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Editing Tools with Some Trade-Offs"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

I like Adobe Photoshop for its powerful editing tools, full creative control, and the flexibility to work on even the most complex designs. These features let me edit every small detail, experiment freely, and create exactly what a project needs, making Photoshop essential for professional design work. The initial setup was easy and straightforward, and after installation and login, the software was ready to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop can feel heavy on system performance, especially on lower end devices, and the learning curve is a bit steep for beginners. Also, the subscription cost could be more flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Content Aware: A true Game-Changer for Editing"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

I find Adobe Photoshop incredibly useful for editing and enhancing photos, particularly with its Content Aware fill feature. This tool helps removing unwanted objects easily and detail-oriented, especially in complex backgrounds. I also rely on the rectangular tool, Lasso tool, and brush for cleaning and redrawing comics bubbles. Adobe Photoshop's capabilities truly feel like a game changer for my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

It takes a lot of space and crashes on low RAM like 4 GB. So it would be better if it can work perfectly on low RAM or low budget laptop too. I had to extend RAM or buy a new laptop within some days just to run Adobe Photoshop smoothly. The initial setup is a little bit hard and confusing for beginners. I had to watch a lot of YouTube tutorials to learn it, and I'm still learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Power and Flexibility for Creative Professionals"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop is powerful and flexible, it is for creating high-impact visual content. It’s basically the industry standard photo editing software. Photoshop helps me with ad creatives, landing page visuals, social media graphics, or image optimization for campaigns. The level of control over images, layers, typography, and effects is unmatched, which is crucial when you’re constantly testing creatives and need pixel-perfect results. My job role has digital side where I need to create email templates almost daily in which photoshop helps me with its AI features. The learning curve is quite steep but once you get the idea, it is then easy to use. Never really needed their customer support as the software itself is self explanatory with their pop up suggestions/tips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

The learning curve is steep, performance can be heavy on large files, and the subscription pricing feels expensive if you don’t use advanced features daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Editing Tools and AI Features Make Photo Work Effortless"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

I find the Shortcuts feature very useful. The way the features are implemented lets you edit photos while preserving the original image, so you avoid the hassle of repeatedly using the undo function. Masking effects make editing and color grading straightforward, and there are plenty of ways to modify text as well. The AI features are also a big help. There are countless options for manipulating your photos, and the background removal tool works very well too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

The new Image Upscale feature could use some improvements. Because Photoshop does not utilize the dictionary photo for editing, the file size keeps increasing, which can cause the system to hang or lag if it is not managed properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Powerful and Reliable Tool for Professional-Grade Image Editing""
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

Photoshop offers an exceptional level of control for image editing and graphic creation. I particularly like how powerful the layer system, masking tools, and smart objects are. The software handles everything from basic retouching to advanced compositing with precision. Its integration with other Adobe apps also makes my workflow smoother and more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

Photoshop is resource-heavy, and it can feel slow on mid-range systems. Some tools have a learning curve, especially for beginners. Also, the subscription pricing can be a bit high for users who only need a few core features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Photoshop remains the standard for visual creation"
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

Photoshop is extremely versatile and reliable for anything related to visual creation. I love the precision of the tools, the quality of the retouching, and the ability to combine photography, textures, typography, and complex effects in the same workflow. For my creative and event work, it is the most complete and stable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

Photoshop can be heavy at startup and consumes a lot of resources, especially with large files. Some advanced features take time to master and the subscription price can be high for small creators. Despite this, the quality remains excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
