Adobe Express shows promise, if they ever get it to work right or expand it beyond hair salons. **What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?** The tools are always being "upgraded" to push aside the things you really count on in favor of useless things you don't need. It is so clear that new releases are based on the wet dreams of programmers and zero customer feedback. It is well known that customer service and support has been on the decline for years. OK, its hard to find good people these days. But I would prefer that they simply got rid of support instead of using these horrible people who lie to you and hang up on you and are rude and are not empowered or trained to do anything at all. Why waste my time and play games to anger me, just tell me to deal with no support. **What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?** I create marketing materials with Adobe CC, but not easily and not without a lot of frustration. ### 2. They are far behind in making them collaborative and browser based, though. **What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?** I'm an enterprise customer, and the customer service is terrible compared to all the other software companies we deal with. It's effortless to buy the products but almost impossible to get support, cancel and downgrade. - they deliberately hide support buttons (recently, it took me ten minutes to find out that they removed the chat function, and another ten to find a phone number) - calls to their support team often get dropped - if you manage to get through, you're put on hold for a long time (I often have to block out a few hours in my calendar for even simple issues) - when you finally get through, the connection often breaks, both by phone and by chat - they don't offer pro-rated subscriptions as many leading SaaS companies do If your company has access to alternatives to Adobe products, don't buy anything from them. **What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to use their products for some prjoects, as there are no viable alternatives. ### 6. However, since Adobe moved to a subscription model, the periodic updates to the application feel forced and have only made it more difficult to use. Adobe seems to make changes just for the sake of changing things rather than to make improvements. **What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?** I dislike the subscription model. This type of application should be available with a perpetual license. I dislike that Adobe shoves in ads for its stock photo service within the application. Also something as simple as the "new document" dialog is sluggish and does not perform well. Finally, Adobe also changed some of the toolbar icons which was extremely confusing for users like me that have been using the product for over two decades. Finally, the Creative Cloud app (and related services) is bloated. There's no need to take up the number of resources on my machines as CC products do. The last time I counted I saw 15 background processes + 5 running services! **Recommendations to others considering Adobe Photoshop:** Photoshop is and always has been the standard for photo and image manipulation in the graphic design industry. However, Adobe's Creative Cloud subscription model makes ownership of Photoshop much more expensive in the long run as opposed to a perpetual licensing model. There are cheaper alternatives available so if budget is a concern, I would recommend other options. However, if money is no problem, Creative Cloud with Photoshop is an acceptable solution. **What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?** As far as a graphic design tool, the application does work well. We are able to use Photoshop to perform photo touchups, web design mockups, and logo samples. ### 7. They blocking my license transfer for almost a month giving me ridiculous excuses for that. They asked me to fill the interactive from and sign in accoridng to the instruction, after few days they want the same form without signature. After no contact from they side asked about the transfer status they asked me to send the form again with phone provided. Problem is that this is interactive from which dosn't allow me to put my mobile number here. There is no Polish suport all documents which I have are in Polish like invoices etc. Why English support expects from me to deliver them Polish documents. They also requre from me to provide them documents which are not required in Poland and even if they will be in Polish too. Its look like playing on time. I also asked for help on Adobe Facebook page but no success here. Support doesn’t even have enough courage to put you signature. It is an excellent tool, and It is definitely the industry standard and can do just about anything you need. Some people find it worth it, I do not. It loads terribly slow, always asks me to sign in at random times, and the worst part is (aside from the price) their support is TERRIBLE. I couldn't get ahold of anyone, and when I finally did, I couldn't understand a word the guy said, and they directed me to their support forums. **Recommendations to others considering Adobe Photoshop:** Don't shell out the money for Photoshop unless you absolutely have to. On some projects I have to open up the project in other programs to get what I am needing done completed without spending lots of time on just one step of the project. The layout makes it difficult to visually locate tools. The program is slow and takes way too long to render. It freezes when I am working with multiple file types. There are tons of useless plugins. I also like the layers and grid. Healing tool is ok, but overall is barely successful for me. **What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?** I can never learn this program. Everytime I have to do anything I have to watch a tutorial and then I forget how I did it next time around. At this rate I have better luck editing photos in instagram. I use photoshop to crop images, save smaller files and occasionally mess with levels and contrast. Anything outside of that looks fake, poorly edited.
