What I appreciate most about Lightroom Classic is how it handles massive workloads without breaking a sweat. The UI / UX is built for heavy lifting, delivering incredible batch-editing performance that saves me hours when sorting through a big shoot.
While the initial onboarding has a bit of a learning curve due to all the advanced modules, the massive amount of community support makes it easy to master quickly. The recent AI / intelligence features—especially AI Denoise and automatic subject masking—are absolute game-changers for precision edits. Add in the seamless integrations with Photoshop and the fact that you retain local storage control rather than forced cloud lock-in, and the overall pricing / ROI makes it an unbeatable, high-value tool for my workflow. The biggest drawback is performance bloat; handling massive catalogs can occasionally get sluggish. The dense UI / UX means onboarding takes time without direct support. Also, its cloud integrations with mobile are clunky, and the mandatory subscription model lowers the long-term pricing / ROI for those who prefer owning their software.
