Sometimes Postman throws errors but doesn’t make it clear where they’re actually coming from. That’s frustrating because it also doesn’t really point me toward how to fix them. I’ve also noticed that using the same account on different devices can show different requests—for example, a folder might not appear, or updated requests don’t show up—so I end up having to clear cookies (or do something similar) just to confirm whether any changes were made to the API. Debugging why a user landed in a specific variant is harder than it should be. When a gate rule, a market exclusion and an experiment layer all interact, the console doesn't give a clear trace of which rule won, so we end up reading SDK logs instead. Before Statsig, every experiment meant hand rolling bucketing logic and a one-off flag, and cleanup was always someone's forgotten TODO. Now assignment, ramping and kill switches all live in one place, so shipping a new variant of a page is a config change plus the feature code, not a week of plumbing. We can run a multi-week marketplace test across web, iOS and Android with consistent bucketing per user, which we couldn't do reliably before. It helps reduce the amount of custom development needed for internal applications and business workflows. There is Targeting rules can be confusing when many services share a flag. It’s hard to see why a flag gave a certain value. We release more often and with more confidence. Fewer customers are affected when something goes wrong. Incidents are fixed faster because turning a flag off is quick and safe. There’s very little to dislike. The initial Adobe Commerce integration required some careful configuration, but that’s more a limitation of Magento than Omniconvert. Page flicker is still an issue, but I think that can be solved with some more dev work. And because the support team was so hands-on, even that challenge ended up being a smooth experience. It can be challenging for dev teams to know that their changes will break QA Wolf tests since they're not part of the standard suite of tests. This separation can become a bit of a maintenance burden for the dev teams.

We also explored using QA Wolf for E2E testing on our mobile apps, but the cost was prohibitive. The amount of time our devs spent on dealing with the tests themselves was ultimately cheaper than handing it off to QA Wolf. We would have liked to offload that effort to a third party like QA Wolf, but the ROI wasn't there for a single mobile dev team. QA Wolf tests cover our most critical user flows, ensuring that the application is working for the majority of our customers at all times.
