best Market Intelligece Software.

Market research software is most likely related to market intelligence software. Many of these are geared towards forecasting, monitoring stocks, tracking news information. They provide platforms to consolidate information related to specific markets, metrics, and trends. Technology research software provides less financial information, but industry-specific technology research. They will define software categories and types and provide users with information pertaining to each. This information is often used in buying decisions and product development planning. Business intelligence platforms often provide more internal analysis, but do usually come equipped with some level of competitive intelligence analysis. They will centralize and display your personal business information while allowing you to compare internal data with publicly available data, trends, and news.

“User-Friendly platform that helps you transform your business”
What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

I find ZoomInfo Sales very user-friendly and extremely easy to use. It’s dynamic and provides a lot of insight into potential prospects and decision-makers, even when full information isn’t available. We’ve run successful email marketing campaigns and closed good deals after using their contact data. The response rate for emails we’ve sent using ZoomInfo Sales contact information has been impressively good.

What I really like is that it helps us reach people we couldn’t have contacted directly through other tools or programs we’ve used in the past. The initial setup was straightforward, and the platform feels intuitive, which minimizes the need for extensive training.

Another function I’ve found especially useful is the company descriptions; the results we’ve gotten from them have been very accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

I don’t dislike anything about the tool. My main suggestion is to keep expanding the data coverage for Latin America. We also use it for searches in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the US, and in those regions I’ve found it to be very robust.

It would be great to improve the presence of, and access to, information for countries in Latin America. Also, some of the contact information isn’t updated—there are cases where contacts no longer work at their companies or don’t hold those positions anymore. That said, I understand this isn’t easy to keep current in a world where professional mobility moves so fast.

Overall, I love ZoomInfo and have already recommended it to former colleagues and family. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

ZoomInfo Sales helps me find prospects and decision-makers worldwide, so I can reach people I can’t easily access directly or through other tools. It also strengthens our email campaigns and has helped us generate good deals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Semrush: An All-in-One SEO Powerhouse for Keyword Research and Content Planning”
What do you like best about Semrush?

What I like best about Semrush is how all-in-one it is for SEO and digital marketing. It makes keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits really straightforward, even if you’re not an expert. I also like how detailed the data is, especially for tracking rankings and finding content opportunities. It’s a tool I keep coming back to when planning and optimizing content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Semrush?

What I dislike about Semrush is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many tools and features. The pricing can also be a bit high for beginners or small creators who are just starting out. Once you get used to it, though, it becomes much easier to navigate and use effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Semrush solving and how is that benefiting you?

Semrush helps solve the problem of figuring out what content to create and how to improve visibility on search engines. It makes keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO optimization much more accessible in one place.

For me, it saves a lot of time when planning content for my website by showing what people are actually searching for and how competitive those topics are. This helps me create more focused, high-intent content that has a better chance of ranking and reaching the right audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EL
Original Information
“It's (still) hard to imagine search insights without using Similarweb”
What do you like best about Similarweb?

Similarweb's paid and organic traffic insights remain central to our search performance reporting. The platform's true value isn't just in the raw numbers, but in the wider context it provides, allowing us to move beyond "what happened" to "why it happened."

We’ve recently expanded our use of the tool to monitor multi-regional trends. This has been a game-changer for identifying whether a performance shift is a local anomaly or part of a broader global pattern across our competitors.

Additionally, we've started leveraging the AI traffic referral metrics. While I’m still maintaining a healthy skepticism regarding the maturity of data for LLMs like Gemini and ChatGPT, it is currently one of the only reliable proxies available to help us understand how AI search is impacting our click-through landscape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Similarweb?

There are a few persistent workflow niggles... alongside a newer consideration regarding their AI metrics.

Date Range Flexibility: The platform is still heavily reliant on pre-defined intervals (like "Last 28 days" or full months). For a digital marketer running mid-month campaigns or specific sprint reports, not being able to set a truly custom "start and end" date range is a productivity bottleneck.

Data Granularity at the Low End: The "under 5,000" traffic floor is still an issue in the standard exports. While I understand the need for statistical significance, seeing a flat "<5,000" instead of the directional estimate makes it difficult to track emerging competitors or niche players before they hit that threshold.

AI Data Maturity & Transparency: The AI traffic referral data is a brilliant addition, but it still feels like an unknown to a certain extent. Because these metrics are so new, I’d love to see more transparency around the methodology or even some sort of "confidence score" for these figures. Right now, it’s a useful data point, but I’m not yet at the stage where I’d make a major business decision on those specific numbers without more context on their reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Similarweb solving and how is that benefiting you?

One word: context. Contextual reporting is becoming absolutely essential in the digital world. It's no longer enough to say "Great, we're up +50% vs last year" without also looking at how your direct competition is performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Pleasure to Review on G2—Helpful Incentives, Never Pushy”
What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

I rely on customer reviews for nearly every decision I make when it comes to everything from products for myself to software solutions for my company. I am more than happy to be a part of creating reliable reviews for other people like myself. G2 is a great platform that has never harassed me to do anything and even offers incentives to get back in here and review products and services that U am familiar with. It is a pleasure to do that here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?

Really I don't have anything bad to say here, I have never felt bothered by an occasional email from G2 asking me to review something else. They tend to wait weeks or even months to send an email suggesting I do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is G2 Marketing Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?

The reviews are the answer in a world full of fairly bad marketing, none of it is truthful, I have come to determine that everything on the internet is only there to gain something from you through deception, and the only place you can weed out real information is through customer and User reviews. “Powerful Data Insights for Business Searchers”
What do you like best about Inven?

I like Inven's AI chat features because it makes it really easier to write my criteria for businesses I'm looking to find. I can quickly narrow down criteria through generative language, which is really helpful. I also appreciate how you can create a list based on company profiles and then view individual profiles. This allows me to see the total headcounts, location, whether if the company is growing, along with headcount, revenue, and LinkedIn data to identify decision makers easily. I really love the estimated revenue and founded ownership feature because it's important for me to filter out ownership based on that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inven?

I think Inven is a very new tool, so it's ever evolving, for the user needs to quickly adapt and maybe, I'm not always up to date with the newest features. More training, support, self-serve options would be great. It took me a little bit to figure out how to navigate the tools and the UI aspect. Although it is simple, some features are hidden, so that was difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?

Inven helps me find business data easily, unlike other AI tools. I can write business criteria quickly with AI chat and identify decision makers using company profiles, saving time on LinkedIn. “When the first contact already makes the difference”
What do you like best about Dedale Intelligence?

As a specialist in public procurement, electronic bidding platforms, and electronic administration, I particularly appreciate that Dedale Intelligence knows exactly who they are looking for and why. From the first contact, it was clear that they had analyzed my profile thoroughly — it was not a generic call, but a precise and well-founded approach.

The process is agile and frictionless: clear communication, punctual meetings, and a prepared team that asks relevant questions without wasting time. The confidentiality agreements are well-structured, and the remuneration is fair and punctual, which builds trust from the start.

What stimulates me the most is the intellectual quality of the topics: digitalization strategy, AI applied to public management, evolution of regulatory frameworks in electronic procurement... These are conversations that add value in both directions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dedale Intelligence?

So far my experience has been entirely positive. I have nothing negative to point out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dedale Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?

Connect specialized technical knowledge with those who make strategic decisions. “Essential Tool for Mobile Game Market Research”
What do you like best about AppMagic?

AppMagic has become an essential tool in my daily workflow for market research and product analysis in the mobile games industry.

What I appreciate most is how intuitive and fast the platform is. The UX is extremely well designed, which makes it easy to explore large amounts of market data without spending hours building complex reports. Instead, I can quickly identify trends, validate assumptions, and focus on deeper product analysis.

The Advanced Search and filtering system is particularly powerful. It allows me to analyze markets from multiple angles — by genre, monetization model, downloads, revenue, or time periods — which is incredibly valuable when evaluating new game ideas or benchmarking competitors.

Another big advantage is the clarity of the charts and data visualization. It makes spotting market trends, breakout hits, and declining products very straightforward.

Overall, AppMagic helps our product teams move from opinions to data-driven decisions, which is critical in such a competitive industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppMagic?

Like most market intelligence platforms, some metrics such as retention or active users are estimates, so they should always be interpreted as directional insights rather than exact numbers.

It would also be great to see more ad intelligence and creative insights, such as CPI videos or deeper analysis of marketing creatives for newly tested games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AppMagic solving and how is that benefiting you?

AppMagic helps me validate product decisions with real market data.

When developing new games or improving existing ones, I constantly use it to answer questions like:

1) Which genres and mechanics are currently growing?

2) How successful are similar games in terms of downloads and revenue?

3) What monetization strategies are competitors using?

4) What trends are shaping the market right now?

Having this level of visibility allows us to reduce guesswork, identify opportunities faster, and make more informed product decisions.

For a studio building new mobile games, this kind of market intelligence is incredibly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“AlphaSense: Smarter Research with Premium Content and Instant, Cited Insights”
What do you like best about AlphaSense?

I really like AlphaSense because it stands out among similar CI platforms. It brings together an exceptionally large library of premium financial, corporate, and industry content with advanced, context-aware AI search that surfaces highly relevant insights in seconds, saving analysts and consultants significant research time. I also appreciate its generative AI features, which synthesize findings with citations, and the option to integrate internal company documents so everything lives in a single, secure research hub for both proprietary and external information. Overall, these capabilities support faster, more accurate decision-making and make it easier to streamline collaboration across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AlphaSense?

AlphaSense’s main drawbacks, in my experience, are usability and cost. While the platform is very powerful, those features come with a steep learning curve and a complex interface, which makes it difficult for me to refine searches and navigate the large volume of information it returns. The breadth of coverage can also create information overload, so I have to spend extra time filtering and narrowing results to find what I need. At the same time, there is limited data and information on CIS (Russian) and Asian companies. Finally, it is a premium, high‑cost solution, which can make it less accessible for smaller teams or organizations with tight budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AlphaSense solving and how is that benefiting you?

AlphaSense helps me address the challenges of scattered information, slow manual research, and the difficulty of synthesizing large volumes of market and financial data by bringing premium external sources and internal company documents together in a single, AI‑powered research platform. Its advanced search, summarization, and alerting features meaningfully accelerate insight generation and lower the risk of overlooking important developments. As a result, I’m able to make faster, more accurate decisions and maintain a more streamlined, efficient research workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apify?

Everything lives in one place, you pay only when it's called, and you don't have to build a single scraper.

That's the part I think is genuinely underrated about Apify - it's not just a hosting platform, it's a scraping utility layer you can lean on. For someone building a AI agentic business for other businesses that's a significant shortcut. The UI is not super complicated to use, the API integration is easy to find and implement, their hosting servers have plenty power to handle huge data outputs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The pricing model is confusing - compute units, platform fees, Actor rental fees all layered on top of each other, hard to predict costs before you run something. Free tier is quite limited, you hit the ceiling fast when experimenting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apify solving and how is that benefiting you?

I also appreciate its clean interface and built-in citation system, which makes verifying information effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

I dislike about Perplexity is that it sometimes lacks depth or contextual understanding in longer or more complex queries. While it’s great for quick answers, it occasionally gives surface-level explanations or repeats information from sources without deeper analysis. Additionally, customization options and conversation continuity could be improved to make it more flexible for power users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?

Perplexity is solving the problem of information overload and unreliable online sources. “Powerful, Flexible Suite for Supporting Customer Locations at Scale”
What do you like best about Yext?

The power of the overall suite has allowed location-specific work to achieve greater success for our customers. The flexibility of our Pages instance, for example, allows us to be quite active at supporting the customer locations while also giving benefit to our Brands across the web. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yext?

I don't think it's a fault of Yext per se, but our use case is not as conventional as many of the Yext clients as we don't own the locations we support with the platform. These are customer locations, 3rd parties, and this is more of a distributor model so we don't have access to things like Google Business Profiles to really take advantage of the full suite of services.

The reporting can be a bit tricky to manage for end users, but our service team has been great at helping that out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have key consumer brands that we want to make the public aware of, but our customers are the point of purchase. We needed a way to elevate these brands in search alongside our customers as both a B2C activity but also as a B2B performance driver to build greater engagement with our network. The Yext Pages in particular have given us the capability to bring the local search authority of our customers along side the national brand authority we have to drive greater consumer access to these products and the point of sale. “Reliable Industry Insights, but Can Feel Geared Toward Larger Enterprises”
What do you like best about Gartner?

What I like best about Gartner is the depth and credibility of its research. When I’m looking for high-level insights or trying to evaluate vendors, their reports—especially the Magic Quadrant—make it easier to see the competitive landscape quickly. It’s not just surface-level info; it’s well-researched, structured, and trusted by decision-makers. It really helps when I need to back up a recommendation or present options to leadership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gartner?

The biggest downside for me is how expensive and limited access can be. Unless your company has a subscription, it’s hard to get the full value from their reports. Also, some of the content feels more tailored to large enterprises, so if you’re at a smaller company or startup, it might not always feel directly relevant. And occasionally, the vendor evaluations can feel a bit too influenced by market presence rather than pure product performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gartner solving and how is that benefiting you?

Gartner helps solve the problem of information overload when researching tech solutions. Instead of sifting through random blogs or sales-heavy vendor sites, I can rely on Gartner to give me structured, unbiased analysis from trusted experts.

For me, it makes it easier to compare vendors, spot trends, and make decisions with confidence—especially when presenting options to management or stakeholders. It’s also a great way to validate if a tool is actually a market leader or just good at marketing itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Serpstat?

I use Serpstat for finding website errors and analyzing competitor keywords. I like that it crawls websites very fast compared to SEMrush and Ahrefs, even if the website has 1000 pages. This speed allows me to audit multiple 1000-page websites in a single day, which is incredibly helpful as I work for an agency. Additionally, the initial setup of Serpstat is very easy; I just need to enter the website domain in the Serpstat tool.
