Pitchbook is the investment banking analyst's best friend for all thing VC, private equity, and the like. **What do you dislike about PitchBook?** Pricing is a little bit expensive and their monitoring of user logins in each account inhibits password sharing. **Recommendations to others considering PitchBook:** Do it. Pitchbook beats all of the other enterprise solutions as well as the free corwdsourced information sites hands down. **What problems is PitchBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visibility into private markets that are otherwise incredibly difficult to gain information on. Their canvassing of the private funds industry is incredibly detailed. ### 3. From doing diligence on private comparables to sourcing information on capital providers, Pitchbook provides a one stop shop for data geared towards PE and VC groups. **What do you dislike about PitchBook?** The price is rather high, but for funds should be worth it. The access to segment and target capital providers should easily pay for the annual subscription costs. **Recommendations to others considering PitchBook:** The company offers a trial period in which users can easily test the software for a few days. Additionally, the sales team provides demos that showcase the depth and breadth of the platform. **What problems is PitchBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pitchbook allows us to gather information about private companies and their industry comparables. This includes identifying trends in exit opportunities, current multiples, and add-on opportunities.
