## Inven Reviews
 ### 1. Powerful Data Insights for Business Searchers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I like Inven's AI chat features because it makes it really easier to write my criteria for businesses I'm looking to find. I can quickly narrow down criteria through generative language, which is really helpful. I also appreciate how you can create a list based on company profiles and then view individual profiles. This allows me to see the total headcounts, location, whether if the company is growing, along with headcount, revenue, and LinkedIn data to identify decision makers easily. I really love the estimated revenue and founded ownership feature because it's important for me to filter out ownership based on that.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I think Inven is a very new tool, so it's ever evolving, for the user needs to quickly adapt and maybe, I'm not always up to date with the newest features. More training, support, self-serve options would be great. It took me a little bit to figure out how to navigate the tools and the UI aspect. Although it is simple, some features are hidden, so that was difficult.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven helps me find business data easily, unlike other AI tools. I can write business criteria quickly with AI chat and identify decision makers using company profiles, saving time on LinkedIn. Its estimated revenue and ownership filtering are essential for my work.

 ### 2. Powerful Search, Consistent Data, and Easy Exports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Search tools are powerful and I've found the data to be more consistent than other resources. The ability to export easily into other tools met my expectations.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

The user interface is decent, but it does take a little time to get used to. The improvements are generally helpful, though they also mean I have to keep adjusting how I work with it over time.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Search and the use of AI continue to improve, and I’m convinced they’ll become even more important over time and keep differentiating the tool.

 ### 3. InvenAI - Levio Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. | M&A and Corporate Finance Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Easy to navigate, regroup most of the info you need to start and analyze an M&A opportunity. Matthew was also very responsive and the quarterly update were totally appropriate

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Working with InvenAi and creating lists is just okay, I would say. An Excel plug-in that lets us import data live into an Excel sheet would make it much easier to manipulate the opportunities we select. For me, the lists themselves aren’t very user-friendly, and the way they’re displayed can be a bit confusing at times.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The "simpified gathering of information". If you search a company, you get most if not all the info you need right at the same place. You just have to go through the company profile and can already have a sens and what and who they are.

 ### 4. Inven AI: Time-Saving, Accurate Searches with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klaus S. | Senior Partner Poland, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven AI has significantly improved both our workflow and the quality of our company searches. Within just a few minutes, it allows you to generate high-quality lists using a wide range of filters and search criteria tailored to your needs. One particularly valuable feature is the ability to identify company contacts, often providing their direct contact information, which greatly reduces the time spent on research. The results can be easily exported and later imported into our CRM system for further processing. I have been using Inven for over two years and have observed its continuous development throughout this period. The platform consistently improves, and the team behind Inven truly understands what is important. They are always friendly and highly competent.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

There are a few small areas that could use some improvement, but I am confident you will address them.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Inven to compile extensive lists for M&A projects, often involving cross-border considerations. These lists help us identify and directly approach key decision-makers at various companies. Inven not only saves us considerable time but also greatly enhances the quality of our lists. It has become an essential part of our daily workflow and a vital tool in our operations.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> Thanks so much for the awesome review — two years together, time flies! 🚀 We’re thrilled Inven’s been boosting your workflow and searches. And don’t worry, those “small areas” are already on our hit list!

 ### 5. Superior Semantic Search, But Needs Full API Functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo G. | Head of Investment - Europe & LATAM

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I like Inven's semantic search feature the most; it's the best feature for finding the right companies. It allows me to apply specific searches beyond the regular filters, letting me dive deep into customer segmentation. The semantic search is much better compared to what we used before, which is why we switched from Apollo to Inven. Also, the initial setup of Inven was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I don't like that Inven is not API ready for all functionalities and still requires accessing their platform for most of the features. Also, the API is not fully functional, which limits full integration with other tools, like our CRM.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Inven for market research and lead generation. It solves the problem of finding the right companies and contact details. The semantic search helps me with deep customer segmentation beyond regular filters.

 ### 6. Good platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khai T. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I like using Inven, as it is a helpful tool to find initial targets. Also, I am positively surprised by how much company information they have. I expected a tool to have less information on the smaller sized companies (as this information is more private and smaller companies have less obligations to make information public). I use Inven almost on a daily basis.

Also, I like the google chrome extension makes it fully integrated within my way of working.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I tend to use Inven to look for companies (both targets as potential buyers), but as it is an AI-tool, the suggested companies I get tends to decrease in quality after a certain amount. I noticed that the amount is equal (or less) in all scenarios.

Also, I tend to not trust the person database and I find the need to check LinkedIn (which is a source it uses) by myself.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It finds companies easier and faster than before. This makes me do my work quicker and faster.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> Thanks for the great review! We’re happy to hear Inven’s data depth and Chrome extension fit right into your daily workflow.

Appreciate the honest notes on company suggestions and the people database—our AI is still learning, and feedback like yours keeps it improving.

Glad we can help you find targets and buyers faster every day!

 ### 7. Easy-to-Use Tool with Accurate AI Search and Targeted Company Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt Q. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Easy to use interface. AI-enabled search feature very helpful & accurate. Isn't overengineered to include elements that users don't need (just for the sake of it). Targeted company search with relevant employee data (contact information included).

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

N/A ... there is nothing that I dislike about Inven. The platform is as advertised, economical, and does what one needs it to do.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very helpful for comprehensive company research. All in one solution to enable initial diligence. Includes companies / firms that one may not find on other larger, legacy solutions.

 ### 8. High-Quality Searches, Contact Info Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I like that Inven provides very high-quality search results, especially for company searches. The AI screener makes it particularly easy to find relevant companies we're looking for, which requires less time and effort. Compared to previous services, I find Inven's customer service to be of higher quality, and their search function provides better results.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I dislike the quality of the contact information. It's pretty low, just inaccurate, and it seems to over-pull from LinkedIn. There are cases where it pulls the same company name but not the right company, or pulls what appear to be fake profiles on LinkedIn.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Inven to create M&A target lists. Its high-quality search results and AI screener make finding relevant companies easy, saving time.

 ### 9. Intuitive and Efficient with Key Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luciano C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I mostly like Inven's user interface because it's truly intuitive, easy to use and understand, and pretty well organized.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Mainly, I would say it's about the information that we receive from the companies. We think that it's very useful to find similar companies to the ones we are working with, like, comparable companies. But then the further information of each specific company is where I find the limitations of Inven. Because you cannot access financial data and you don't really have details of present transactions regarding the price of the transaction. So, yeah, that's quite an important limitation, I would say.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven helps us find comparable companies faster than searching online, streamlining company evaluation and identifying market transactions and potential investors.

 ### 10. Efficient Interface, Promising Features with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikhail T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I like Inven's great user interface, which makes understanding what is going on in the program much easier for me. The nice AI features are also a standout as they help create filters and narrow down searches, allowing me to ask specific questions about companies. Additionally, the good revenue estimation model quickly gives me an idea of how sizable a business is. Overall, it makes searching for financial information and other details on companies much simpler.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I think some registered countries are not available now, but they are working on adding more and more countries to have better quality of data.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Inven to solve the problem of manually searching for software companies and financial information, including funding details.

 ### 11. Invent: Disconcerting Efficiency and Simplicity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I use Inven to better understand my addressable market and create precise lists for our CRM. I particularly appreciate that Inven is extremely easy to use, especially thanks to its AI module which transcribes our research into lists very precisely and efficiently. Additionally, access to a centralized and qualified database is a major asset, providing information that is often scattered or incomplete elsewhere. Inven's customer service is also responsive and attentive. The initial setup was extremely efficient and easy thanks to the support we received.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Nothing

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Inven to understand my market and create lists of companies, centralizing data that is often scattered or incomplete.

 ### 12. Inven - Maverick Finance Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven is an excellent platform for deal sourcing and market intelligence. Its intuitive interface, comprehensive database, and powerful filtering tools make it an invaluable resource for our team at Maverick Finance. Highly recommended for any investment banking professional.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

There is very little I dislike about inven. There are some shortfalls around being able to do more unique searched and ability to maintain dynamic lists.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven solves the problem of time-consuming, manual deal sourcing. Previously, building a longlist of targets or buyers was a slow, labour-intensive process.

 ### 13. Get to a yes or no in seconds

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig M. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven helps me narrow down targets for my search fund. I'm able to find the kinds of companies I want to find in a certain industry very quickly. The most recent and useful feature though has been the google chrome extension. Any time, weather I'm working or not, I can instantly get a feel for if the website I'm on is a company that might be a good acquisition target, helping me uncover opportunities I never would have found another way.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

You need to know how to use the search function properly otherwise it's not going to be as useful as it could be. It is worth it to talk to someone at Inven to get regular updates on the tool

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding off market deals to target for a business acquisition

 ### 14. Centralized Data Hub with Impressive AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zackary B. | Partner

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I love using Inven for generating lists of potential acquisition targets as it simplifies the process immensely. Its standout feature is the excellent AI Search filtering, which makes it easy to filter through millions of companies in their database swiftly. This feature is invaluable when I need to scan target websites for specific keyword matches quickly, making the identification of potential leads seamless. Additionally, the integration with LinkedIn is a game-changer, allowing me to effortlessly pull employee counts and growth metrics for the companies we are evaluating. Another aspect I appreciate is that Inven consolidates all essential data into one platform, replacing the need for multiple resources, which streamlines our workflow. The initial setup of Inven was straightforward, thanks to the support from a dedicated product representative who guided us through the onboarding process. Overall, Inven's ability to combine multiple functionalities into a single cohesive tool is incredibly beneficial, and I would highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

The UI is very different from any of the competitors, which might result in a longer learning curve if you are already familiar with other tools.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Inven invaluable for filtering millions of companies to generate acquisition target lists, using AI for keyword scanning and integrating with LinkedIn for data consolidation, saving us time by replacing multiple tools.

 ### 15. Essential Tool for M&A Consultants—Streamlines Investor Research Perfectly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven is very helpful for my workflow as a M&A sell side consultant tasked with identifying potential investors:

- Generation of investor longlists works great, has all the useful company data and filters that I need, and allows me tu use AI powered text searches to identify the relevant companies. Export with contact data works flawlessly.

- Generation of investor shortlists works even better! Unlike many competitors, Inven allows me to create a list combining both relevant strategic and financial acquirers (with contact data of relevant personnel as well!). This is extremely helpful and shortens my workflow significantly, since the Excel export already contains the relevant portfolio companies from previous investments and a full text description.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

As usual with such services, one can of course always ask for even more companies, more company data, more contact data etc., but (also in comparison to other similar services), I'm very happy with the current status and acutallystarted to use Inven as my single source of investor reasearch, since I feel like the results are quite complete already today and I don't have to check multiple sources.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem is identifying and contacting potential investors for privately owned European SME companies. I use Inven as my single source to create longlists and shortlists with both companies and financial investors and export them with contact data into Excel to use them further in the M&A process.

 ### 16. Inven Saves Us Time in Our Research Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven is helpful because it saves us time in our research process.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

We do not have any complaints about Inven.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven helps us research a wide variety of companies in terms of size and industry, and it also helps us see the ownership structure.

 ### 17. Inven Makes Discovery of Companies Easy and Intuitive, Removing Traditional Biases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven does all the thinking, formulating of my wishes, and all of the "heavy lifting" in finding companies and deals for me. It basically allows me to just think out loud (or in writing) and does the rest. Great product, such a wonder it has not been there earlier, but fantastic to have it now. I use it almost daily, at least weekly, not only for actually finding companies for tangible business needs but also to follow interesting markets and ponder upon "random" deal ideas and funding backgrounds of companies etc.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Of course the search result is not always perfect and sometimes needs a bit of manual verification, but then again, just to give a list to review is obviously of great value. Also, it would be great if the platform included debt financing deals - maybe in the future.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditionally finding companies has been a lot of effort and one could have been certain that some of them, especially ones in less familiar geographies, are missed. Inven solves this effectively, finding companies and deals regardless of geography, industry, or the orientation of my own expertise.

 ### 18. Powerful Tool with Comprehensive Market Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikael R.

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I've been using Inven for a few months now, and it works really well for finding potential buyer candidates and add-on acquisitions. I particularly like its algorithm, which makes it easy to search for players in a specific industry and segment them by key metrics like revenue and profitability. Inven provides a wide range of company information and contact details, making it superior to manual efforts. Its straightforward setup was also a plus. Overall, it stands out as a great tool due to its coverage and support for understanding market players and potential acquisitions.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

It would be helpful to have more insightful data such as revenue splits and growth details, even if it's on a guesstimate basis. Overall, getting better information is always beneficial.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the product to identify potential buyer candidates and understand market players, leveraging its algorithm for insights on acquisitions and market segmentation, helping us make informed decisions.

 ### 19. Buy-side Advisory Use Case

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryce R. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

It's very easy to use for the most part. It's plug and play and works like a lot of the other data platforms out there in terms of front end use, but where it shines is it's ability to leverage AI+keyword search to find exactly what you're looking for. If you're looking for a specific type of company, which most investors are, that usually requires some nuance beyond some indexed fields (headcount, geography, funding amount, ownership type etc) to find what you want.

You can describe specific customers (ie. instead of document automation platforms, you can describe document automation platforms for banks, credit unions, and insurance companies). We use it, as a team, just about every day. There's no real set up required; you just start searching and get better at it over time. It was really easy to integrate into our process because once we search and build ths list, then we have the right targets and can go and enrich that list with the right contacts.

Their team is super responsive and listens to suggestions and for the 2 years we've been using the platform they've implemented many of them.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

They need more investor fields and a descriptive investor search. Sometimes AI classifications of companies is pretty poor and I'm sure this will improve with time as AI get's better.

I also wish contact enrichment was more robust with more waterfall sources and more credits.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to find both standalone and carve-out opportunities repeatedly, in addition to using it for investor outreach. This saves us immensly in what used to be a 6-10 person research team building lists. This combined with some of our other AI tools and data sources is fantastic.

 ### 20. Efficient Investor Targeting with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie I.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I like the UI of Inven; it's simple, and the results are solid. I can find relevant investors and easily see their portfolio companies. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

It would be great if financials were integrated across Europe. UK is a first step but this is easy to find. What would be helpful is if it could get financials in Germany, Poland, Italy etc.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven saves me time by making it easier to find investors and targets to pitch our services, ensuring we don't miss opportunities.

 ### 21. Invaluable for Discovering Early-Stage Investments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petteri K.

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I love that Inven is extremely easy to learn and it provides comprehensive results with a lot of data. It's robust and intuitive, which means I don't need to interact with customer service to use it effectively. The service helps me find relevant early-stage companies in which to invest, offering the raw data I seek on firms not yet known by other investors. The ease of setup made transitioning from other platforms like CB Insights seamless for me.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I would like to have even better filtering based on my historical searches and automatically deducted preferences.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Inven to find relevant early-stage companies for investment, benefiting from its comprehensive data and intuitive use without needing customer service. It's robust but could improve with better filtering based on historical searches and preferences.

 ### 22. Efficient and User-Friendly Platform for Startup Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roni L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I really like how easy it is to find relevant investors and startup data. The interface is clean and everything’s structured in a way that actually makes sense. It saves a ton of time when you’re doing ypur research.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Sometimes the data for smaller or newer companies isn’t fully up to date, and a few filters could be more flexible. But overall, it’s been super useful for what I’ve needed.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven helps a lot with identifying and evaluating potential M&A targets. It makes it easy to get a quick overview of different companies, their history, and key metrics, which saves a ton of time compared to doing manual research.

 ### 23. Powerful Filtering with Inven

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Getting started with Inven is very straightforward, and I’ve found their database to be among the most comprehensive I’ve encountered. The wide range of filtering options is impressive and makes it much easier for us to find and narrow down our targets. Also, some of the AI features like auto-match that saves companies into a list is brilliant.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Ever since they introduced the people search feature, we've been very satisfied. It was the missing piece we needed to find the individuals behind some of the companies.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Inven to find companies for venture-type opportunities, and we really value the wide variety of metrics it provides, along with its people search feature. Inven has enhanced our deal sourcing process and made it easier for us to identify promising targets.

 ### 24. Find Niche Targets in Minutes, Not Days

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessio T. | Corporate Development Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

A Game-Changer not only for Deal Sourcing - actually, very complete information are available - but also for Business Intelligence and Corporate Development purposes.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

The precision and accuracy of the findings could be enhanced somehow - perhaps implementing some additional labeling feature or a sort of "wizard" guiding the user through the reaserch ("Q&A Approach"), while fine tuning the criteria.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I focus on feeding the M&A pipeline with new opportunities by gathering market and business intelligence on industry trends. Additionally, I work on developing corporate relationships to identify companies within specific categories, such as distributors in a particular region.

 ### 25. Review: Inven and it's use as company database for global invenstment managers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Been using Inven to fill out our CRM pipeline in order to sell our very niche investment products which only few investment managers have the mandate to invest in. Inven has been super helpful with this task ask the lists we've been able to produce with the tool have been way superior to bought premade lists or external business developers have been able to produce.

Some pros:
+ ease of usability of UI
+ Customer support
+ Size of the database

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

When started using the product 2 years ago it still lacked some features that we were searching for, since then the team has implemented these with impressive speed and scope.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding invenstment firms to which we can sell our products.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> Thank you for such an amazing review! 🙌 We’re thrilled to hear Inven’s been a real game-changer for your pipeline work. Huge thanks for recognising the progress — the team’s been working hard to build exactly what users like you need!

 ### 26. Easy Setup with Valuable AI Features, Needs Better Search Accuracy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valtteri K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

I enjoy how easy it is to set up Inven; the onboarding process is clear with good materials and easily interpreted emails. It's a valuable tool for finding interesting companies, saving time by consolidating information in one place. I find it easy to use, appreciate the low pricing, and value the AI features.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I find the search accuracy to be lacking. It often produces a lot of irrelevant companies, which means I have to spend extra time manually filtering and searching for the right ones. This reduces efficiency and increases manual work.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Inven to quickly find interesting companies that are potential targets, saving time compared to manual searches and benefiting from the ease of collecting information in one place.

Inven has truly changed the way I approach market mapping and target sourcing. It’s surprisingly quick to uncover relevant private companies that fit very specific themes or criteria. The Chrome extension is also a huge plus. It enables assessing potential targets straight from their website, which saves a lot of time. ### 28. Inven opens up search possibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle R. | Research Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven gives information on smaller & more private business that wouldn't be available otherwise without hours of manual search time, opens up the possibility to find companies that are perhaps more niche in their service offering simply by using a few key words without going through all websites across various searches the information is all there. Supported by data across various sources like LinkedIn & Website visit data. Filter by investor, or employee history - You can use AI to ask the list you'll create anything, and then export the data for your own analytics. It has made a very complicated process very easy. It is like having a team of analysts working beneath you, leaving you more time to scrutinize the output.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

You may need to learn the basics of using prompts & navigating the output

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding businesses that exist in areas that I want to look at, without having to scout LinkedIn or google for long periods

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

 ### 31. User Friendly With Tons of Great Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keyanu T. | Corporate Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven's ease of use and customer support made it an awesome tool our company used for well over a year. While lead generation isn't even the bread and butter of this program, our small team was able to generate hundreds of niche industry specific leads that helped our new program launch with great success. On top of that, Inven's customer support team was always on the ball responding to questions or requests within 8 hours even with battling different time zones.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

The only downside we could think of was having to click on the company's website link to get their contact number. While this did allow us to learn a bit more about the company before contacting, it also added an extra step.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead Generation

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> We love reading this—thank you! Hearing that Inven helped your team generate hundreds of niche leads (even though lead gen isn’t our main gig) feels like we just earned an extra badge on our sash.

Big thanks as well for the shout-out to our support crew. They’ll be grinning to know their speedy replies made a difference.

And about that extra click for contact numbers—did you know you can use the AI Screener to pull details straight from a company’s website into a new column in your Inven platform? That way you can skip the click-through entirely. :)

Thanks for letting us be part of your launch success!

 ### 32. Great Innovative Product/System

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew U. | Business Development Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

It;s incredibly user friendly and pulls alot of key data with a small amount of information given to it. Obviously the more information that you provide the better the product gets.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Nothing of note - I would say the system would naturally keep improving (as it's Ai driven), so any minor issue would be naturally removed over time if there is one.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's currently giving me access of new competitor's entering the market for our group. This enables to me track and follow the latest trends.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> Thank you for the review! We’re thrilled to hear that Inven is making life easier—and that a little info goes a long way.

We’re especially glad Inven is helping you keep tabs on new competitors and market trends. That’s exactly the kind of edge we love to give our users.

The data quality is consistently high, ensuring reliable and accurate results. Additionally, the software performs seamlessly across multiple markets, offering broad and comprehensive functionality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a dependable and intuitive solution.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

So far no complaints. The software has been working well.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding companies for M&A buy & sellside opportunities

 ### 34. Strong option for M&A sourcing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Inven has an intuitive UI, and lots of detailed filters which helps you easily navigate their database of millions of companies. It also reliably finds companies that you otherwise might not find from traditional search methods.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I understand their UI is looking to be more GenAI enabled, and this will make interactions with the search functionality feel more natural.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven helps me to better understand the market landscape and find companies that I otherwise would be unlikely to come across. You can identify companies that operate in quite narrow markets which is very helpful. Inven also integrates lots of data sources in one place, meaning that you can quickly make the yes/no decision on whether you are interested in that company.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We love hearing that our filters and database are helping you spot those hard-to-find companies.

And yes, you heard right: our team is busy adding more magic to the UI so searches will feel even more natural (and maybe even a little psychic).

We’re thrilled Inven is making market-landscape scouting quicker and those yes/no decisions easier. Thanks for being part of the ride and for great feedback!

 ### 35. Highly Recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin K. | Self Funded Searcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

Ease of use plus the quality of data really makes it a strong tool

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

I do not dislike anything about the tool.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inven helps me identify target companies that I try to acquire. Super easy way for me to identify all these targets and get all the information about the companies I find

 ### 36. Efficient tool for quick M&A target screening

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

The platform enables me to rapidly generate a list of potential acquisition targets and evaluate the competitive landscape, including relevant peers, for further evaluation.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

At times, the prompts require some adjustment to reduce the number of unrelated companies appearing in the search results. This is of course a common characteristic of any AI tools available today.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is useful for M&A target identification, peer group analysis, and competitor screening. It allows for quicker execution when preparing both pitches and M&A project materials, which leads to improved quality and greater capacity.

 ### 37. Practical and functional platform to search for potential buyers and prospects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro G. | M&A Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Inven?**

The platform is very practical and easy to use for finding new names in highly specific niches and segments with limited publicly available information and data online. New users have no difficulty navigating it, as it is simple, intuitive, and easy to learn. It has already generated valuable insights and relevant data.

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

Sometimes the prompt is not very accurate in its results, and even when increasing the number of filters, it does not generate the expected outcomes.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identify new potential buyers for processes in niche industries and segments with fewer buyers. It helps uncover new names that are uncommon and typically outside the traditional radar.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re happy to hear Inven is helping you surface those hard-to-find buyers in niche markets and that the platform feels easy and intuitive. We’re also working on making the search even more accurate so your searches keep getting better.

This tool has revolutionized the way we work in our company, we save time and our targeting is becoming increasingly precise, because Inven provides us with a wealth of valuable information. Not to mention that the entire Inven team is attentive and very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this tool!

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

To be completely objective, I haven’t found any downside to Inven so far. With the new updates and AI improvements, the platform is becoming more and more accurate, and it’s easy to use. So no, I don’t see any negative point.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in the cosmetics sector, and we are looking for partners to distribute our products. Thanks to Inven, we can better target and find the perfect companies for us.

And we certainly won’t argue with “no downside”—that’s the kind of feedback that keeps us motivated to keep polishing the product until it sparkles.

Thanks for trusting Inven to help you find the right partners and for sharing your experience so generously!

**What do you dislike about Inven?**

The platform is relatively new, so still has a few technical glitches.

**What problems is Inven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am always seeking to identify LP's for funds and investors for direct deals. Inven consistently provides great contacts.

**Official Response from Ebba Stelander:**
