"Overall very satisfied"

What do you like best?

It has been great that Pipecandy has helped us find and identify our addressable market. We used them to identify which companies use Magento as their checkout process and the leads have been great for getting us started.

What do you dislike?

Some of the information that they gave us does not feel accurate. We are building a company based off of how many shipments that these businesses are sending out and the estimates that they give for several global companies feel very low.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

PipeCandy is great software. Some of their information could be more accurate, but it is a great tool to help build out and qualify your sales pipeline.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Filling out the start of our sales pipeline. We are able to move right to qualifiying leads because of the information that Pipecandy has given us.

"Great idea, frustrating implementation"

What do you like best?

The interface and clean layout, the good and minimal use of colours, and the depth of data categories made available. The app itself was generally smooth and didn't choke up or lag much. It was also constantly updated with new companies.

What do you dislike?

There were a huge number of faults with every level of the app. First off, data discrepancies- from Apple being categorized as "Food And Beverages" to Walmart being a "Automotive and Vehicles" company- some main data categories were rife with inaccuracies. Moreover, creating lists to download contacts was super buggy- it seemed to break down every 5 pages. While that was fixed later as we contacted support, it probably should never have been a problem. On top of that, lack of small features like not being able to delete contacts from/merge lists among other things, makes using this app very frustrating. I really wish it would be great- I like the underlying concept and a lot of effort has clearly put in. But it seems there is a long way to go still.

We use it for lead sourcing. It is great at providing company information in detail, and is generally accurate. It benefits us by providing a large downloadable database of company data.

"Analysis of PipeCandy - Technology adoption trends of eCommerce companies."

What do you like best?

We asked PipeCandy to analyze the technology adoption trends of eCommerce companies. They ask the right questions. The research was easy to understand and comprehensive

What do you dislike?

I guess this is typical with research projects - you get more questions after doing the research. PipeCandy should structure their research to include a few hours of follow-up and analyst time, which I think they do now.

Highly recommended! Define your goals and expectations clearly to get the best results.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a tech job board focused on enterprise tech, PipeCandy's research helped us build a GTM for this new vertical. Their research was thorough. We also got a list of companies that are growing fast in this space. Highly recommended!

"Great experience working with this team!"

What do you like best?

Pipecandy helped us with market analysis reports and leads mining for our products. They are a great team to work with. They are super invested in the project and always available to help with any queries that we have.

What do you dislike?

I don't have anything that I can mention that the team can improve on.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

PipeCandy has helped us with market analysis and calculating TAM for one of our latest products. We are also working with Pipecandy's team for lead mining. This is helping us in building the target audience for our outreach. The details that they have helped us with are exhaustive and also accurate.

Not a negative but we hope they scale their data coverage across all geographies

We used PipeCandy to discover fast growing omnichannel retailers that would find value in our pricing and promotions solution. We've tried tools like Discoverorg, ZoomInfo etc. While they are all valuable for contacts/IT spend etc. PipeCandy gave us some very unique insights about sales, growth and technology stack maturity of retailers. Also, they could differentiate between business models, pricing models etc. which is invaluable for pitching a pricing/promotions product.

"Very easy to work with and accommodating even in different time zones"

What do you like best?

The ability to use this company for direct mail campaigns

What do you dislike?

Sometimes for meetings, I have to work until 2am in the morning so that I can have a meeting with my POC at 9 am (EST to IST)

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have been able to cooperate with PipeCandy in the use of direct mail campaigns. The benefit that I have realized is that my boss, his partner, and the team was very impressed at the quick turnaround and quality of the work.

"Maximize responses to our campaigns."

What do you like best?

Unique Data that we don't find easily

Saves time on research (we are a lean time and this is very valuable)

What do you dislike?

Customization of tool based on client can be improved

Our aim was to maximize responses to our campaigns. So we had to run very unique and targeted campaigns after knowing the context about each company we do the campaign for. PipeCandy helped us to do that very well, especially when our target was retail segment.

"A platform of e-Commerce market intelligence"

What do you like best?

For running certain outbound marketing campaigns, we were looking for a good and reliable data source provider. PipeCandy fitted the bill for the eCommerce segment. I had a good set of data about the eCommerce customers that was useful for us.

What do you dislike?

From the eCommerce industry perspective, we were looking for more details like their website's traffic or the tech stack of the companies. Their tool, at the point of time, didnt have these data. But the team was super quick in support in providing this data in an offline manner.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Running outbound email campaigns targeted at eCommerce customers. PipeCandy provides reliable data for a super-niche segment of audience.

"Mined important leads from PipeCandy"

What do you like best?

We tried traditional data providers. There is no one where I can find product categories, traffic, revenue, and omni-channel data all in one place. PipeCandy wins clearly in this category.

What do you dislike?

Little expensive for Start-Ups. Wish there is a price category for start-ups

What do you like best?

Industry specific intelligence. PipeCandy's data helped answer questions about my eCommerce prospects.

What do you dislike?

Not something I dislike but currently, their platform primarily covers the US market and some English-speaking markets. It would be great if they expanded their coverage.

Consider going for PipeCandy if you'd need to discover your eCommerce prospects or if you'd deeper insights on accounts in your sales funnel.

"Pipecandy rocks.."

What do you like best?

At Zarget, we had to scale our outreach to eCommerce companies and yet be very precise about whom we reach out to. PipeCandy helped us build a highly precise target list & provided technology insights about our prospects.

We were able to predict the demos per month with great consistency.

What do you dislike?

Not a negative. They were working on predictive models to lead score the prospects. We didn't get a chance to test that back then. It would've been even more powerful to run ABM campaigns.

We've had some technical issues with the API delivery of data at the beginning. Happy to say that this was quickly resolved

What do you like best?

PipeCandy was accommodating to the custom needs of our project (building a custom prospect list) and turned around deliverables in a relatively short timeframe.

What do you dislike?

Some of the categorization of companies in the results we received were miscategorized, and some larger enterprises were absent from the list. They addressed this and corrected when we brought it up to them.

It was a good start in helping build a custom prospect list for a new market.
