"Intuitive Platform with Powerful Filtering for App Insights"
What do you like best about AppMagic?

We use AppMagic primarily for competitive intelligence and market analysis in the mobile app ecosystem. We value its reliable estimates on downloads, revenue, and monetization models, which help identify growth trends and emerging opportunities. We appreciate how intuitive and powerful the filtering system is, allowing me to filter and drill down by many fields. It's also flexible and granular, letting me check for instance by day or month, which helps in analyzing trends and detailed info. The initial setup was quite easy and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppMagic?

We feel that AppMagic could have more advanced customization options for dashboards and reports, like being able to save customized reports. It would also be helpful to save advanced filter presets that can be applied across different sections of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Game Analytics Tool"
What do you like best about AppMagic?

This is the best analytics tool I’ve ever used. Its smooth, user-friendly design made it incredibly easy to learn when I was just starting out, and their team has been consistently helpful whenever I needed guidance. As someone who actively researches and analyzes the mobile market to create better games, I’ve found everything I need within this platform. In particular, AppMagic’s Advanced Search has been invaluable for ideating new game ideas and understanding market trends.

Recently, they’ve also added Steam data, which is a huge advantage for developers today as having insights into both mobile and PC markets is more important than ever Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppMagic?

It would be great if we could see CPI videos for newly market-tested games. This would make early analysis even more insightful. I’m also looking forward to future updates to their Steam analytics, as it currently lacks some key features that would make the tool even more comprehensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful and Customizable Tool for Market Trends"
What do you like best about AppMagic?

I use AppMagic to understand the mobile market and trends. It gives me the visibility and clarity I need, rather than relying on bias or other sources. I like the smooth and fluid nature of the platform, how lightweight it feels without being too cumbersome. Despite the simplicity, the ability to customize my views and what I want to look at is very great. AppMagic's blogs, reports, and research are also great because they help to contextualize using the platform and understanding the market. The initial setup was very easy. What do you like best about AppMagic?

Simply the best analytics tool on the market.

A genuinely user-friendly interface, unlike most competitors.

It includes everything you need for mobile market analysis: trend discovery, identifying emerging niches and projects, and analyzing LiveOps of existing hits.

Now it also features Steam analytics, providing even more valuable insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppMagic?

Steam analytics is still limited, and some data for older Steam titles may be slightly inaccurate.

However, I believe this part of the tool will evolve rapidly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential analytics tool for mobile publishers"
What do you like best about AppMagic?

AppMagic is one of the most powerful tools for mobile publishing. We use it daily to analyze competitors, track trends, and identify high-potential game ideas. The market insights, accurate revenue estimates, and clear charts help us make fast data-driven decisions. The interface is intuitive, and the filtering system saves a lot of time.

We also actively use the video creatives section – it’s one of our favorite features. It shows which ads get the most impressions, allowing us to quickly understand what resonates with players and why. This helps us test hypotheses and create more effective ad creatives much faster. What do you like best about AppMagic?

I appreciate how AppMagic excels in ease of discovery, providing an intuitive and fast way to uncover insightful data using various filters. The platform's design makes it incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to quickly find and apply insights to my projects. I find immense value in AppMagic's competitor creative discovery and download tool, which significantly boosts my capacity to research what competitors are doing in terms of creative processes and App Store Optimization (ASO). This tool is crucial in helping my team brainstorm fresh ideas and stay ahead of industry trends. Furthermore, the straightforward onboarding process made the initial setup very easy, ensuring I could dive into utilizing its functionalities without unnecessary complications. These features collectively enhance my research capabilities, making AppMagic an indispensable part of my toolkit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AppMagic is the best tool on the market (I use them all)"
What do you like best about AppMagic?

I have used all of the tools, and have access to most of them currently. E.g. Sensortower and Gamerefinery.

But AppMagic is the only such tool that I use every day.

AppMagic's advanced search tool is the bomb. I use it constantly.

The genre / subgenre tagging is quite robust and intuitive.

I can easily download robust CSVs for further analysis in Tableau.

AppMagic is quite responsive to feature requests, support requests and feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppMagic?

The retention estimates are a bit loose at the moment, so this is one of the few use cases where I still use other services to triangulate.

But, for everything else, I rely on AppMagic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UX and Powerful Features Make AppMagic a Standout"
What do you like best about AppMagic?

I've been using AppMagic for over a year now, and it stands out as my favorite tool, especially when compared to other data intelligence tools. I really appreciate its user interface, which is incredibly user-friendly and allows me to navigate through any game I want quickly. The UX and search capabilities are some of the most user-friendly features I've seen, making AppMagic one of the most interesting tools I've used. I love how easy it was to set up, thanks to the one-click access via the 'get started' button. In terms of functionality, AppMagic significantly enhances my market intelligence efforts by identifying trending games, monitoring upcoming soft launches, and analyzing the latest ad creatives. The LiveOps feature is particularly useful as it enables me to view live ops events efficiently. I find the search functionality exceptionally valuable for tracking. Overall, all the features, from ad intelligence to game tracking and notifications, make AppMagic incredibly useful for my needs. Its search and tracking capabilities are primary reasons for my strong preference, making everything really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppMagic?

I find the pop-up notification for the last thirty days' data a bit irritating and unnecessary. It's a personal preference, but I think it could be improved by using a single tab rather than a hover-over pop-up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
