To be honest, the UI could be better, as could the API endpoints and the options for using Xero through custom applications we build for our in-house needs. Hubdoc also needs additional recognition improvements, along with more rules or templates to help classify documents and automatically fill in the relevant fields. Additionally, during high-sale periods, managing customer returns required significant manual intervention for damage checks and stock updates before relisting items for sale.

With Increff WMS, each physical unit is uniquely tracked and scanned, allowing returned items to be verified and made saleable within minutes. Managing visual merchandising based on data used to be really hard. Before Leafio, we didn't know how product displays or item placement affected sales. This often resulted in messy shelves. Even when we tried to manually build reports, it took a lot of time and effort to gain any real insights.

Leafio solved these issues incredibly well. There are multiple analytical reports that use real-time sales data, and each one is visual and easy to understand. For example, you can see which products are underperforming, which planograms need attention, and which products will soon be missing from a display. I wish it was a little more user friendly in terms of being able to navigate, but mostly the biggest issue I have is when a sales order is packed with inventory from more than one lot/batch number, it doesn't seem to be able to pack that correctly and will get stuck after the first lot is assigned and then get stuck being able to pack all the products. I also wish I could adjust things without having to adjust the inventory period after it's closed. I think an inventory period should be an option and not automatic. At present, our primary usage of this tool is for Target. However, we believe it would greatly enhance our operations if we had the option to communicate directly with customers through Goflow. Unfortunately, Target does not provide this capability, which limits our ability to engage effectively with our customers. Implementing this feature would add significant value to our process. What do you like best about Descartes Finale Inventory?

Reporting is where Finale Inventory shines. More integrations than I would ever need, with the ability to add a new one. Very easy to use, with clearly labeled & well-organized menu items. Getting started, I had questions. My questions were answered really quickly by the founder of the company. My phone calls are answered. What do you dislike about Descartes Finale Inventory?

A difficult question is what I dislike about Finale Inventory. There are features that I don't use, but there are no features that I do use that I have any qualms about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Descartes Finale Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?

I look at stock levels on a daily basis, and easily create Purchase Orders from the same software. Inventory levels are adjusted as soon as product is received, and as soon as it's picked for an order. I can see what's on hand, what's on order, and even how many days' worth of product I have. Stock levels take BOMs into account. That's huge. Product Lookups are simple to create and link. There's also the ability to create Custom Fields. What do you like best about StockIQ?

We began implementing SIQ in 2020 to replace the manual, Excel-based forecasting we had been using previously. The SIQ team handled the integration with our ERP system (EPICOR). Since adopting SIQ, our team has gained much greater insight into stock levels, stock movement, forecasts, and more. The alert features are also very useful, as they allow us to focus on exceptions rather than trying to keep an eye on every product. The SIQ team is incredibly knowledgeable and has provided excellent training. They are also continually evolving the software, so it’s always exciting to see new features and explore how we can use them. Their support team is also excellent, and if we do have issues with data or refreshing, they are always there to help diagnose and solve the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StockIQ?

Our data wasn’t in the best condition, so implementation took longer than we expected. Especially early on (as with any software like this), you really have to pay close attention to the outputs it’s producing. We had a few wildly wrong order suggestions, which came down to our poor data rather than SIQs system, so it’s important to have your team in place to spot issues quickly and address the underlying data. If there are data issues or refresh issues, it can sometimes be a little hard to diagnose the issue within SIQ - having said that, whenever we have had issues, the support team have been great with resolving it.

The release notes and guides are very useful with each release, but the training videos in the Help centre aren’t always updated to reflect the changes that come in. It would be great to see this fleshed out a bit more and kept up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is StockIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Historically our forecasting was Excel-based, so trying to forecast for products was very slow and - at times - very inaccurate. It was also very difficult to see trends of our products, product groups etc. SIQ has helped us massively in both these areas, and is used every day by our team.
