What do you like best about PandaDoc?

UI / UX

What I like best is how intuitive and easy the platform is to use. The interface is clean, and creating, editing, and sending documents is quick with very little learning curve.

Integrations

What I like best is it fits well into our workflow and helps automate document creation. Zapier also gives us additional flexibility for custom automations. It is also a native HubSpot integration, although we aren't currently using it as it was added after we operationally set up

Performance

What I like best is that it's reliable for our day-to-day document workflows. Documents are generated, sent, and signed efficiently, making it easy to scale our processes.

Pricing / ROI

What I like best is that the Business Starter plan provides solid value for the features included. It allows smaller teams to automate document workflows without a significant upfront investment.

Support / Onboarding

What I like is having access to an account manager. While our experience hasn't always been perfect, it's helpful to have a direct point of contact when we need assistance.

AI / Intelligence

What do you dislike about PandaDoc?

UI / UX

There aren't many issues with the interface. The only improvement I'd suggest is making it easier to understand the impact of template changes, as editing templates can unintentionally affect existing automations, which affected over 100 documents being sent.

Integrations

The biggest drawback is reliability with Zapier. We've experienced occasional issues where changes to templates or document structure caused automations to fail, requiring manual troubleshooting.

Performance

Performance is generally good, but when integrations fail, it's not always easy to identify the root cause, which can increase the time spent resolving issues.

Pricing / ROI

The jump from the Business plan to Enterprise is significant. For organizations that don't need every Enterprise feature, it can be difficult to justify the cost, especially when the upgrade is positioned as the primary solution.

Support / Onboarding

Our account management experience has felt more sales-oriented than consultative. We were encouraged to upgrade to Enterprise, which would have increased our costs by over $2,000 per year, instead of exploring solutions within our existing plan or better understanding our operational needs.

While you can create a custom document you had better like precisely what you have created because you cannot edit the document once you have created it. Even if you find a mis-spelling there is no editor to allow you to update the document without totally recreating the entire thing. What problems is Jotform Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have medical providers which are required to sign a professional employment contract which our clinic director must sign off on as well as the newly hired provider. JotForm sign allows me to send out the document to both parties in sequence for signing and the document can be password protected for security. What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?

What I like most about Adobe Acrobat is that I can use it for almost every serious PDF task without thinking too much about the format. I'm usually working with contracts, client files, forms and comments, so it helps that the interface is familiar and the result is predictable. Files open correctly, comments are easy to track, and sharing documents with clients or partners is simple. It also works well with the Adobe account and cloud tools, which is useful when I switch between devices. Performance is not always perfect with large files, but for daily work it is stable enough. The price is not low, but for business documents I still see the value. What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?

The main downside for me is that Acrobat can feel heavy for simple tasks. I sometimes open a PDF just to make a quick edit, combine pages or add a comment, and the app takes more time and attention than I expect. Some tools are also hidden deeper in the menu than they should be, so the UI can feel crowded even for someone who already knows the product. With large files, performance can slow down a bit. I also think the price is high for users who only need PDF work from time to time. Adobe Acrobat solves the problem of keeping business documents clear, editable and safe to share. In our agency, we often receive contracts, briefs, invoices and client files in PDF format, and we need to review them, add comments, fill forms, combine pages or prepare a clean version for sending. Before using Acrobat, these small PDF tasks could easily turn into extra manual work. Now I can usually handle them in one place, which saves time and reduces mistakes. It’s the best open-source tool I’ve used for both personal and business needs. It’s straightforward to set up and easy to use, and it integrates well with a variety of applications. It’s also fast, so even non-technical signers can complete the process without any trouble. Most people should be able to stick with the Free plan, but if you do need to pay for it, the pricing feels very reasonable. I’ve never run into any issues that required support. I’m also interested to see what useful AI features get added to further improve my document-signing workflows. I was able to get my first document signed within minutes of creating my account. What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

At first, I thought Foxit would simply be a good enough alternative to the tool we were using before. After several months, though, I realized that for many tasks it was actually more convenient. The first thing that stood out to me was the performance. I work constantly with technical documentation, contracts, diagrams, specifications, and some pretty large PDF files. Before, opening a large document often meant waiting around. With Foxit, the difference was noticeable from day one. Files open quickly, and the application uses fewer resources than I expected. That smooth experience really adds up when you're opening dozens of PDFs every day. From a UI/UX perspective, it felt familiar almost immediately. Another unexpected benefit was electronic signatures. We originally got Foxit for PDF editing, but we ended up using eSign as well for internal approvals and documents that required signatures. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

The OCR feature is very good, but it’s not perfect. With low-quality scans or very old documents, we ran into some recognition errors that still needed manual review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our teams work with contracts, proposals, technical documentation, and PDF forms every day. Editing a PDF often meant tracking down the original file, converting scanned documents into editable text was practically a project of its own, and signatures still depended on several manual steps. We decided to test Foxit in one department first. During the first couple of months, we tracked a few internal metrics. What we found was pretty interesting. Tasks related to document editing and corrections were completed about 30% to 40% faster. OCR eliminated a large portion of the manual work we used to do with scanned documents, and document approval processes sped up significantly because many signatures moved to a digital workflow. What do you like best about eZsign?

The platform is fairly intuitive to use, and the sign-in process is seamless. Adding new signatories or reusing previous signatories is easy. Customer support has been responsive to any questions or concerns I’ve submitted, and the knowledge base is helpful when I need a quick answer. Pricing is reasonable, especially compared to other products on the market. I also really like the feature that auto-populates signatures for the logged-in user—it’s great and saves time. What do you dislike about eZsign?

I have to convert my fillable PDFs into flattened versions for eZsign to accept them. It’s not a huge deal, but it does add an extra step to my process. I’d also prefer if the date were a separate field instead of being tied to the signature field. I also haven’t been able to categorize or organize my folders very well—this may be a limitation of the plan I’m on, or it could be related to how I’m using the system. What problems is eZsign solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about pdfFiller?

What I like best about pdfFiller is how much time it saves on repetitive document work. I regularly use the drag-and-drop editor to add text fields, checkboxes, and signature fields, and it is much faster than rebuilding forms manually in other tools. The template feature has also improved my workflow a lot because I can reuse frequently sent documents instead of reformatting them every time. Its fillable field auto-detection is another feature I use often, and it cuts down setup time when I need to turn a static PDF into something interactive. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, with tools appearing where I need them, so moving between editing, signing, and sending feels smooth. I also use its Google Drive and Dropbox integrations regularly, which helps me open, update, and save files without extra downloading or uploading. Performance has been reliable even with longer PDFs, and autosave plus document history gives me confidence that I will not lose work. One unexpected benefit has been the audit trail, which makes it easier to track signatures and keep organized records. From a pricing and ROI standpoint, it has been worthwhile because it replaces several separate tools for editing, signing, and document management, which saves both time and effort. Support and onboarding were also straightforward, with helpful tutorials and quick responses when needed. What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

What’s least helpful about pdfFiller is that some of its more advanced features feel a bit limited or require extra steps compared to newer tools. For example, while the form builder and field detection work well, fine-tuning complex documents (like aligning fields perfectly or handling unusual layouts) can be a bit clunky and time-consuming. The integrations, while useful for basic storage platforms like Google Drive and Dropbox, don’t go very deep with other business tools, which can slow down more automated workflows. Performance is generally solid, but I’ve noticed occasional lag when working with very large or heavily formatted PDFs. Pricing can also be a downside for lighter users, since many of the most useful features are behind higher-tier plans, which may not feel justified if you only use it occasionally. Support is responsive, but finding detailed answers for more specific use cases sometimes requires trial and error rather than clear documentation. Finally, the AI and automation capabilities feel fairly basic—there’s room for improvement in areas like smarter data extraction, autofill suggestions, or more intelligent document processing to reduce manual input even further. Firstly I would like to say how excellent James Lancaster was throughout the entire process, he gave a clear and concise demonstration and answered all questions we had.
