Typically, Blog is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Blog Software.

Many personal and professional blogs are created and tracked through website developers that perform the back-end processes of website development so users can build sites from easy-to-follow templates. Blogs fall into the G2 categories Web Content Management (WCM) and Website Builders. They ensure those without extensive development knowledge can have a space in the world wide web without learning complex code or HTML. Some of these tools can integrate with ecommerce platforms to enable users to turn their blog or website into an online store. Many are free at the base but offer users the opportunity to pay for a more in-depth subscription, purchase a domain name or gain access to more themes and templates. Website builders and WCM platforms can also offer analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) tracking features to help users understand their audience demographic. This, in turn, helps users make informed decisions that can foster online growth.

“Versatile CMS with Limitless Scalability but Needs UI Updates”
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I really like WordPress.org for its unmatched ecosystem. The plugin repository is a standout for me, offering access to thousands of free plugins. This means I rarely have to code standard functionality from scratch, and features like SEO, caching, security, and forms are all readily available. I also appreciate the full site editing. After a rocky start, the modern block editor has matured significantly, allowing me to edit headers and footers visually without touching PHP files, which is a huge time saver. The community support is excellent, with solutions and documentation available all over the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

The interface could be improved. The admin interface hasn't fundamentally changed in a decade and desperately needs a native dark mode and a more modern, cleaner design. The media library needs an overhaul with folders, better tagging, and basic image editing features. Organizing thousands of uploads is currently a nightmare. The famous five-minute install is misleading. Setting up a secure, fast, and production-ready site takes hours and requires a lot of configuration. The learning curve can be frustrating if you have zero technical skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

WordPress.org solves vendor lock-in by letting me own the code and data, empowering my clients with a user-friendly back end. Its extensibility with plugins is unmatched, and it allows easy customizations to meet any client's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Intuitive, Fast, and Versatile Design Platform”
What do you like best about Canva?

I’m not a designer by trade, but Canva makes me look like one. What used to take me hours in complex software now takes 15 minutes. The template library is massive, and the drag-and-drop interface is actually intuitive. It’s been a lifesaver for my social media marketing and quick client presentations. Canva functions as a 'Low-Code/No-Code' environment for visual communication, saving technical users from the 'blank page' problem. I’m particularly impressed by tools like Magic Expand and Magic Edit, which feel like high-end Photoshop features made accessible via a single click. Magic Switch is a game-changer for creating presentations and resizing them for different platforms with ease. The 'Chronically Online' language support, including internet-culture slang, makes the tool feel like a creative partner. The Brand Kit feature is satisfying as it keeps design elements globally available across projects, ensuring consistency. I also found the initial setup of Canva to be very easy, with no complicated configuration required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

While the web-based nature is convenient, it can sometimes lag with very large, asset-heavy presentations. I’d also love to see more robust alignment and layering tools—similar to what you’d find in Figma or Illustrator—to give more granular control over complex layouts. Additionally, the export options for high-resolution print can sometimes be a bit restrictive compared to professional publishing suites. If you create a complex design in Canva and later decide you need to move it into a professional tool like Adobe Illustrator or Figma for advanced editing, you're mostly out of luck. You can't export a 'layered' file (like an .AI or .PSD). You can export a PDF, but once you pull that into another program, the layers are often flattened or broken. You are essentially 'locked in' to their ecosystem. For someone used to technical precision (like coding or CAD), Canva’s simplified tools can feel a bit 'rubbery.' You can’t truly 'draw' or manipulate anchor points on a vector path. The 'Position' tab is a bit clunky. In a design with 50+ elements, selecting the right one can feel like a game of 'Where’s Waldo.' If you are working on a 100-page presentation or a high-resolution video with dozens of assets, the browser can start to chug. You might experience 'stuttering' when dragging elements or long wait times for the 'Magic' AI features to process. Because Canva is so popular, certain templates and 'elements' (like specific stickers or frames) have become overused. If you don’t customize a template enough, your professional presentation or Instagram post might look identical to three other brands your client follows. It takes extra effort to make Canva designs look 'unique' rather than 'templated.' If you’re designing for high-end physical printing (like a billboard or a premium magazine), Canva’s color management is limited. They don’t offer the deep CMYK color profile controls that professional printers often require to ensure the colors on the paper match the colors on your screen exactly. Canva’s data visualization is surprisingly manual. While you can import a CSV or link a Google Sheet, the charts are mostly non-interactive. As your project library grows, finding things becomes a nightmare. Canva’s folder system is quite basic. It lacks the advanced tagging, version control, or metadata search capabilities that a developer or an organized professional would expect. Canva allows you to 'publish as a website,' but it isn’t truly responsive. It doesn’t allow for CSS-style breakpoints. Its built-in accessibility checks are a bit thin. They have a basic contrast checker, but it doesn’t automatically suggest Alt-text for images using AI, nor does it provide a 'Screen Reader Preview' to show you the reading order of your elements. For someone who cares about the 'feel' of a presentation, Canva’s text engine can be restrictive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva helps me create professional designs quickly without design skills. Its intuitive interface and vast template library cut down my design time significantly, enhancing my efficiency in social media marketing and client presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IS
“Clean, Structured Content Management Built for Real World Use”
What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and also manage a clinic, where a big part of my work involves creating educational content for patients. This includes writing diet guidance, explaining health topics in a simple way, and preparing material that patients can read and understand after consultations. HubSpot Content Hub fits very naturally into this type of work.

What I like most about Content Hub is how easy it makes content creation and organization. Writing blog posts, editing content, and structuring information feels smooth and intuitive. I do not have to struggle with technical steps, which allows me to focus more on the actual content and patient education.

The setup process is straightforward. Creating a blog, adding content, images, and making edits does not require extra configuration or technical support. This is helpful when managing clinic work alongside content creation, as time is always limited.

One feature I find especially useful is the built-in AI chat support. Most of the time, when I have questions about editing, layout, or content options, the AI support helps me quickly without needing to search outside or contact someone separately. It feels well-built and reliable for day-to-day guidance.

I use Content Hub whenever there is a need to create or update educational material. It is not about publishing content every day, but using it when there is a real requirement for structured and clear information. This flexible usage fits well with my professional workflow.

The platform offers a good range of features without feeling overwhelming. Tools for writing, formatting, adding images, and organizing posts are all in one place. I can use only what I need and ignore the rest, which keeps the experience clean and focused.

Integration with other HubSpot tools is another strong point. Since everything works within the same ecosystem, managing content feels connected rather than scattered across different platforms. This makes long term content management easier.

Overall, HubSpot Content Hub works as a reliable and professional tool for creating educational and clinic-related content. It supports clear communication, saves time, and helps maintain consistency in the information shared with patients. For someone working in healthcare education and clinic management, it adds real value to daily work rather than feeling like an extra tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?

There is no major issue, but initially the interface can take some time to get used to because there are many options available. For someone mainly focused on writing educational or clinic-related content, a few features may feel unnecessary at first.

At times, simple actions involve multiple steps, which can slightly slow down the workflow during busy hours. However, this improves once you become more familiar with the platform.

Overall, these are minor points and do not affect the quality or usefulness of Content Hub for regular content work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?

HubSpot Content Hub helps solve the common problem of managing educational and informational content in a structured way. In my work as a Dietician and Nutritionist managing a clinic, a lot of information is shared repeatedly with patients, such as diet guidance, lifestyle advice, and health explanations. Without a proper system, this content often remains scattered across documents, notes, or different tools. Content Hub brings everything into one organized platform.

One major problem it solves is inconsistency in communication. When information is shared verbally or through different formats, the message can vary each time. Content Hub allows me to create clear, written content that stays consistent. This helps ensure that patients receive the same guidance every time, whether they read it immediately or later.

Another challenge in daily work is time. Creating structured content from scratch again and again is time-consuming. Content Hub reduces this effort by providing a clean editor, easy formatting, and a clear workflow. This allows me to focus more on the quality of the content rather than worrying about layout or technical details.

It also helps solve the issue of clarity for patients. Many patients prefer simple written guidance that they can revisit. Content Hub makes it easy to present information in a readable and organized manner, which improves understanding and reduces confusion. This directly supports better patient education without adding extra workload.

For clinic-related work, flexibility is important. Content Hub allows content to be created, updated, and refined as needed. If a diet recommendation changes or needs clarification, it can be updated easily. This makes content management more practical and reliable over time.

Another benefit is the built-in support system. The AI chat support and guidance available within the platform help resolve most questions quickly. This reduces dependency on external help and keeps the workflow uninterrupted, which is very helpful during busy workdays.

Overall, HubSpot Content Hub solves the problem of scattered information, inconsistent messaging, and time-consuming content creation. It benefits me by making educational content more organized, easier to manage, and more effective for patient communication. Instead of feeling like a marketing tool, it works well as a practical content management solution that supports real professional and educational needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Umbraco?

I love using Umbraco because it provides an easy-to-set-up platform that offers high customizability, making it a fantastic choice for web development. The myriad possibilities it offers for customization are truly endless, allowing me to tailor my projects precisely to client needs. The user-friendly Backoffice is incredibly well-designed, with a strong focus on the end-user experience, which greatly contributes to client satisfaction. Additionally, the supportive and vibrant community surrounding Umbraco is something I cherish, as it fosters collaboration and continuous learning. Switching to Umbraco from EPiServer, now Optimizely, was a seamless process, enhancing my workflow without issues. Overall, Umbraco’s combination of flexibility, ease of use, and community engagement makes it my top recommendation for other developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Umbraco?

I find it inconvenient that you need to create document types through the UI in Umbraco, as it limits a true code-first experience. This approach requires a lot of extra work, which can be cumbersome. However, once I adjusted to it, it became manageable by hooking up document types to auto-generated C# classes for easier coding. “Simplifies E-commerce CMS with Ease and Affordability”
What do you like best about Hygraph?

I find Hygraph pretty simple and straightforward without a steep learning curve like other CMS platforms. I signed up and within 10 minutes, after adding the APIs and connecting to my app, it was ready to go. The app doesn't overwhelm with unnecessary features. I appreciate that I don't need to create an entire CMS infrastructure myself, which saves a lot on development costs and maintenance efforts. It's also easy to update records; I can log in and update or add new ones in just a few minutes, with changes reflecting almost instantly. The initial setup was easy because the documentation is really clear. I love the generous free tier, which is more than enough for me, especially compared to other options like Pimcore, which was complex and expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hygraph?

The preview options could be much better and also if they could make the site responsive for mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Hygraph to handle the CMS side without high development costs, allowing easy record updates. It's straightforward with no steep learning curve, making setup simple and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful visual front-end for complex, scalable platforms”
What do you like best about Webflow?

Webflow gives full design freedom with clean code output, responsive control, and fast publishing. The CMS structure is flexible enough for complex, multilingual, content-driven projects. I use it as a front-end layer for iGlowly.com - a fully dynamic platform, and its integration with custom code, attributes, and external APIs makes it a powerful UI engine without touching React or Vue. Animations, layout control, and visual clarity are best-in-class.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

Locales made it significantly more expensive. They are well done, but.... The 100-item CMS limit is still restrictive, especially when working with filtered lists or complex relationships. Too many wrapper divs are auto-inserted in collection-based elements, which bloats the DOM. Native filtering and sorting should be inbuilt — not reliant on third-party scripts or hacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?

Webflow lets me build a fast, scalable, and multilingual front-end for iGlowly without relying on heavy frameworks. It solves key pain points: design control, speed of execution, clean responsive output, and structured content management at scale. Combined with Supabase, it becomes a dynamic UI layer powered by external data.

Performance is very good out of the box, and SEO fundamentals (clean markup, canonical control, alt tags, hreflang, etc.) are all in place. The CMS is flexible enough to handle our complex structure — regions, cities, clinics, surgeons, treatments etc in my case — and allows rapid page generation with full visual consistency. Webflow saves dev time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Flexible Collaboration, But Requires Coding Know-How”
What do you like best about Sanity?

So, I have been using Sanity and is a nice Headless CMS, which allows me use the same text content both for my website as well as for my android app. The dashboard is flexible and thus can be customized as per the need. The best part is me along my team can work on a single project at the same time which makes the workflow smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sanity?

To be honest, I don't think Sanity is suitable for everyone. When I compare Sanity to Wordpress, since both platforms share some similarities, I find that Sanity is less user-friendly. You really need to be a developer with coding experience to set it up properly. Unlike Wordpress, there are no ready-made themes available for website design, so I had to create the design myself, which ended up taking more time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you?

In older systems, like Wordpress, my content was stick to the web design, so if I want to change the design or want to create an android app, I have to copy paste everything manually. Sanity solved this problem and I can now instantly launch an app without having to copy paste the code. Also, if on any project, I need hep of other developers, we can collaborate in real time, make changes and publish without having to wait for the other team member to finish. I couldn’t find any meaningful positives in my experience with FlexiFunnels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FlexiFunnels?

My experience with FlexiFunnels has been very disappointing. Their main focus seems to be earning money, not supporting customers.

Before payment, they conduct many webinars and show big dreams and promises. But once they receive the money, the support almost disappears. There is no proper help or resolution of issues. Instead, they keep delaying until the subscription period is close to ending, and then they ask for money again to renew.

I have discussed my concerns with around 5 to 7 different members of the FlexiFunnels team over the last 2 months. Every time, I received the same typical marketing responses like “we will help you soon” or “our team will get back to you”. Unfortunately, no real help was provided.

For the last two months, I have not received any meaningful support or solution from the team—only repeated follow-ups, webinars, and marketing talks.

Not recommended at all. Once you choose FlexiFunnels, your money is wasted because there is no proper support. I wasted my money by choosing FlexiFunnels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The documentation is lacking of details for advanced features, so you need there help for some features, but there support team will help you all the way long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CloudCannon solving and how is that benefiting you?

CloudCannon help us by having the possibility to add custom components to any kind of pages, so our Marketing Team, Product Manager can easily update or add any pages on our websites without waiting the Dev.

“First 24 hours using GHL - Looking forward to learning more in order to leave a proper review.”
What do you like best about HighLevel?

My only experience so far with HL is the customer support team since I just signed up last night but they have all been very helpful and welcoming to the platform. Bikram and Neebesh were both superb! I actually have an ongoing issue with receiving a snapshot from an affiliate link I signed up with and although, there has been no resolution found yet, the cs reps are prompt and generous with their help in researching and escalating the issue. Hopefully it will get resolved soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

I have to research further, but I have not been able to find out if or how it would be possible to preview a snapshots features BEFORE adding them to a sub-account and was advised the only way to remove them if they are not what I am looking for to assist a particular client is to delete them altogether which would be unfortunate if they would work for another client in the future. I have yet to use these features but this has already caused me a bit of nervousness because I have access to quite a few snapshots from an ai learning group I am a member of and would like to view them before deploying them into an account. If there is a solution to this, I would very much appreciate a notification to such. I will continue to search for the answer until then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HighLevel solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am hopeful HL will be the comprehensive business platform capable of streamlining all our processes, maximizing our growth potential, and enabling us to scale to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless Website Building for Non‑Tech Users”
What do you like best about Grigora?

I am completely new to website building, but Grigora is so user‑friendly that it has practically taught me everything step by step. The clean drag‑and‑drop editor, helpful tutorials and ready‑made sections make it easy to design pages for my Hindustani classical music academy without any coding. I also like that hosting, SSL, and basic SEO are built in, so I don’t have to manage separate services or plugins. Overall, it gives me confidence that I can maintain a professional, fast website by myself as a non‑technical user Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grigora?

Because I am new, there was a small learning curve in understanding all the options in the editor and where each setting is located. The number of templates is improving but could still be higher, especially for education‑focused websites. I would also love to see more direct integrations for things like podcasts and some Indian payment or marketing tools in the future. These are not big issues, but adding them would make Grigora even stronger for creators and teachers like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Grigora solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Grigora, I struggled to create and manage a professional website for my Hindustani classical music academy because I am not from a technical background and did not understand hosting, WordPress, or plugins. Grigora solves this by giving me an all‑in‑one platform where I can design pages, publish blog posts, update content, and manage my site’s basic SEO and performance from a single, simple dashboard. It has removed the need to coordinate with developers for every small change and has saved both time and ongoing costs, while giving my students and parents a clean, fast website to access information and resources.
