The Block Editor still isn't the perfect fit for every project. On more complex builds, I sometimes prefer creating custom components instead of forcing everything into advanced block layouts. The good part is that WordPress never locks me into a single way of working. I can choose the approach that makes the most sense for each project, and that's something I've always appreciated. A project from a few months ago sums it up pretty well. A client comes to us with a website that has been growing for years without much planning behind it. Every new feature meant installing another plugin, and even publishing a simple article had become more complicated than it should've been. Before adding anything new, we took a step back and cleaned everything up. We built custom blocks for the sections they actually used, removed a bunch of plugins they no longer needed, simplified the editing experience, and used the Site Editor so their team could manage most of the content themselves. A few weeks later, something interesting happened. When working on a presentation with a lot of elements, it becomes really difficult and time consuming to grab a specific element. You need to open layers to then be able to grab it.

The mobile app isn't as good as i'd want it to be, it is really slow and no matter how good the phone is it lags a lot. At times it takes several minutes to just load up a presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest pain that canva solves is time, i do not have a lot of time to use complicated softwares where i need to learn how to use them first. Canva is very intuitive and a basic presentation or poster is very easy to make.

University deadlines have me making presentations 10 minutes before the deadline and canva never dissapoints.

Umbraco has some great modules you can use for forms, commerce etc. I would say the price point on these can be a little high - especially if team members like the idea but are not 100% sure of how the end result will look. The learning curve can be quite steep, especially when engineering complex cascading styles across multiple custom breakpoints (e.g., managing styles from 1920px down to 1440px and the default 1024px viewport). A minor oversight in viewport styling can easily look like a major structural bug if you aren't paying close attention. As an agency, we rely heavily on Webflow to architect, build, and deploy high-performance, pixel-perfect websites. One thing I find challenging with Sitecore is that it can take some time to understand when the implementation becomes highly customized. From a QA perspective, testing can become more involved when there are many custom components, content configurations, and dependencies between different parts of the site. Sometimes a small content or configuration change can also require testing across multiple scenarios. The platform is powerful, but it does have a learning curve, especially for new team members. Sitecore helps us manage a large and complex website where different types of content and components need to work together. From a QA perspective, it gives us a structured way to test content, reusable SXA components, custom components, different page layouts, and their behavior across different scenarios. This helps us catch issues before they reach users and gives the team more confidence when new content or features are released. We needed a quick solution that would allow a content admin to control content for a multi-faceted marketing site. The flexibility to create new pages and re-use content across the site. The platform is easy to work with, but I would like more flexibility in some advanced design controls and a broader selection of built-in integrations. The AI-generated content is helpful, although it usually needs some editing to better fit each client's brand and tone. Duda helps me deliver client websites much faster than before. Instead of building every page from scratch, I can focus on refining the design and improving the user experience. It has reduced development time, simplified client revisions, and made it easier to launch responsive, professional-looking websites while managing content, SEO, and updates from a single platform. If you build sites for clients regularly, just try it. The trial is enough to figure out if it fits your workflow. Don't judge it only by the basic editor — spend some time in the advanced features because that's where it actually clicks. The major pain point is organization issues when growing. Shared drives tend to accumulate outdated, duplicate and badly structured data unless governance processes are set up properly. It eliminates frictions of everyday collaboration. Users can discuss via Gmail or Chat, work with the right document in Docs or Sheets, schedule meetings in Calendar and discuss everything in Meet without transferring the information between apps. We have the "business" plan which is supposed to include "live support". The "Free" plan is email. For the last couple of months, live support has been non-existent. No one responds to the live help desk, and it takes a full 12 hours to get a response. The tech support is often incorrect, so you have to reply and let them know that what they told you was wrong. Then it takes ANOTHER 12 hours for a response. I contacted them on a Monday. It is now Friday afternoon, and we are still at square one. I am totally fed up. The screen they're looking at is not the same screen I'm looking at, so what they're saying is not applicable~. So they apologize, and then another 12 hours goes by! For me, the lack of a built-in schema generator and advanced template management features is a major drawback, limiting the tool's full potential. These missing elements make it harder to customize and streamline workflows efficiently. As a result, users may find themselves spending extra time on manual setups that could otherwise be automated. Grigora has significantly improved my workflow efficiency and content deployment strategy. Its speed and simplicity stand out, making it a pleasure to use. The main disadvantage I find in Padlet is that the free version is quite limited for frequent use in the classroom. Many of the most useful features and the ability to create more boards are only available in the paid plans. As a teacher, this forces you to constantly delete or reuse material, which makes it difficult to maintain an organized repository of resources for different courses. It would be ideal if the free version offered a bit more flexibility for those who use the platform for educational purposes, as that would allow for even better utilization of all the advantages it offers. Padlet has helped me solve one of the main challenges in the classroom: organizing collaborative work and making all students' learning visible in one space. I use it especially for science outreach activities and for positive peer feedback. Before, it was more difficult to collect the work and encourage students to comment and learn from each other. With Padlet, everyone can share their products, observe their peers' work, and provide constructive feedback easily. While the Sanity platform is powerful, the onboarding process felt somewhat steep and disconnected. It took me a significant amount of time to get oriented and understand the ecosystem, particularly in terms of navigating the dashboard and locating specific configuration settings.

In fairness, some of this friction may have been exacerbated by a lack of internal documentation at my own company; however, I believe Sanity’s documentation could be more approachable for new users. A more guided "first-steps" walkthrough or a more intuitive discovery process for core features would go a long way in reducing the initial learning curve for developers coming to the platform for the first time.

Areas for Improvement:

* **Interactive Onboarding:** Implement more hands-on tutorials within the UI that guide new users through setting up their first schema or dataset.

* **Contextual Tooltips:** Add more descriptive labels and hover-over explanations for complex terminology within the studio interface to aid quick learning.
