Blog Software

Typically, Blog is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Blog Software.

Many personal and professional blogs are created and tracked through website developers that perform the back-end processes of website development so users can build sites from easy-to-follow templates. Blogs fall into the G2 categories Web Content Management (WCM) and Website Builders. They ensure those without extensive development knowledge can have a space in the world wide web without learning complex code or HTML. Some of these tools can integrate with ecommerce platforms to enable users to turn their blog or website into an online store. Many are free at the base but offer users the opportunity to pay for a more in-depth subscription, purchase a domain name or gain access to more themes and templates. Website builders and WCM platforms can also offer analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) tracking features to help users understand their audience demographic. This, in turn, helps users make informed decisions that can foster online growth.

“Easy-to-Learn, Widely Supported CMS”
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

What I like best about WordPress.org is that it is one of the most widely used CMS platforms, so it is easy to find documentation, tutorials, plugins and support when needed. This makes it very useful for managing a website even when you are not a full-time developer.

I use it to create and update pages, publish content, manage basic website structure and keep our activities visible online. The large ecosystem of themes and plugins also makes it flexible for different needs, from simple content pages to more advanced website features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

The main downside is that WordPress.org is not always immediately user-friendly, especially when you need to manage more technical parts such as plugins, themes, updates, security settings or layout customization. Sometimes I need to search for tutorials or documentation to understand the best way to do something.

It is very powerful, but because it is so flexible, it can also become complex if the website has many plugins or custom settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

WordPress.org helps us manage our website and present our activities in a clear and accessible way. It solves the problem of needing a flexible platform where we can publish information, update pages, share news or content, and keep our online presence active without rebuilding the website every time.

The main benefit is that we can manage a lot of website content internally and make updates when needed. This helps us communicate better with our audience, show what we do, and keep information about our organization more visible and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Canva keeps becoming much more than a design tool”
What do you like best about Canva?

I use features like Magic Write, Magic Design, AI image generation, and the newer AI tools almost every day, and they've made putting together the first draft of a campaign much faster. They don't replace creative decisions, but they definitely take a lot of the repetitive work off my plate. What I really like is that I can work on presentations, documents, social media content, and even spreadsheets without jumping between different apps. It keeps everything in one place, and it's much easier to keep the same visual style across an entire campaign. These days, I don't really think of Canva as just a graphic design tool. It's become the place where our content, designs, presentations, documents, and AI tools all come together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

The AI features still need a bit of supervision. More than once, Magic Write gives me a solid starting point, but I almost always tweak the wording to better match the brand's voice. For me, it's a great assistant, not something I rely on to do the final work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

I run into a situation recently where a client decides to completely change the visual direction of a campaign just a couple of days before launch. A while ago, that would've meant rebuilding assets, updating multiple files, and spending hours making sure everything stayed consistent. This time, I open the project in Canva, update the brand elements, adjust a few pieces of copy with Magic Studio, and everything stays aligned in a fraction of the time. What I expect to turn into a long afternoon ends up being a pretty straightforward update. Since then, last-minute changes don't worry me nearly as much because I know we can adapt quickly without starting from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Flexible CMS That Scales with Business Needs”
What do you like best about Umbraco?

I've been using Umbraco for several years, and what I like most is the balance between flexibility for developers and ease of use for content editors. Editors can update content without needing much help, and as a developer, I have the freedom to build custom solutions without feeling limited by the CMS.

Umbraco Cloud has made deployments much smoother and saves us a lot of time when managing different environments. We also use Umbraco Engage, which helps us better understand user behavior and create more personalized experiences for our clients.

The newer AI features and MCP support are a nice addition and have started making some everyday tasks faster. I also like how easy it is to integrate Umbraco with other systems and APIs, which is something we do on almost every project.

Performance has been solid, even on larger websites, and the platform has been reliable. Whenever I've had questions, the documentation and the Umbraco community have been really helpful. There's almost always someone willing to help or share a solution.

Overall, Umbraco has become my preferred CMS because it's reliable, modern, and gives us everything we need to build and maintain websites efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Umbraco?

One area that could be improved is the pricing model for Umbraco Engage. Some clients only need specific features, but they currently have to pay for the full product. It would be great if Engage offered more flexible pricing, allowing customers to choose only the features they need and pay accordingly.

I've also noticed that more clients are asking for personalization and audience segmentation. Making these capabilities more accessible through flexible plans would help more businesses adopt Engage without the higher upfront cost.

Other than that, I haven't encountered any major issues. Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Umbraco. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Umbraco solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest problems Umbraco has solved for us is managing content from multiple systems. In one of our recent projects, the client was using three different content platforms. Managing content across all of them was time-consuming, inconsistent, and difficult for the content team.

We migrated everything into a single Umbraco solution. Now the client manages all their content from one place, which has simplified their workflow, reduced maintenance, and made training much easier for their editors.

From a development perspective, Umbraco's flexibility has also helped us build custom features and integrate with other business systems without being limited by the CMS. Combined with Umbraco Cloud, deployments and content synchronization are much smoother, allowing us to deliver updates faster and with fewer issues.

Overall, Umbraco has helped us reduce complexity, improve the editor experience, and deliver projects more efficiently while lowering the ongoing maintenance effort for our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Straightforward Updates, Clean Interface, and Reliable Performance with Duda”
What do you like best about Duda?

We've used Duda on several website projects where design updates continued well after the initial launch. What I like most is that making layout and content adjustments feels straightforward, which helps keep projects moving without turning small revisions into lengthy tasks.

A large part of my work involves reviewing page layouts, content placement, and overall user experience before changes go live. Duda makes that process easier because the interface is clean and easy to understand. Checking responsive layouts across different screen sizes is quick, and making updates doesn't require jumping between multiple tools. We've also connected analytics and marketing platforms without much setup work. Performance has been reliable, even on pages with heavier visual content. New team members generally get comfortable with the platform quickly, and support has been helpful whenever we've needed clarification on specific features. For the amount of time it saves during revisions and routine updates, it has delivered solid value for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Duda?

There are times when I would like more flexibility for highly customized design interactions. The platform covers most day-to-day needs well, but achieving very specific visual behaviors can occasionally require extra work. I would also welcome more advanced design organization options for larger projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Duda, implementing design feedback often required more back-and-forth between team members, especially when updates needed to be reviewed across multiple devices. Duda simplified that process by making edits easier to preview, review, and publish. As a result, revision cycles are shorter, design consistency is easier to maintain, and projects spend less time waiting on minor updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FlexiFunnels?

As a paid user, I can confidently say that FlexiFunnels has become one of the most important tools in my digital marketing stack. Instead of paying for multiple tools for landing pages, funnels, email marketing, automation, course hosting, and websites, I can manage everything from a single platform.

Whether you're a freelancer, agency owner, coach, educator, or business owner, FlexiFunnels provides almost everything needed to generate leads and drive sales online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FlexiFunnels?

The platform is continuously improving, but there are a few features I would love to see enhanced.

1. The Blog section needs more advanced SEO and content management capabilities to compete with dedicated CMS platforms.

2. Additionally, adding a Quiz/Assessment feature inside the Course section would be extremely valuable for educators, coaches, and course creators who want to improve student engagement and track learning outcomes.

Apart from some of these improvements, the platform delivers excellent value for money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FlexiFunnels solving and how is that benefiting you?

FlexiFunnels helps me eliminate the complexity of managing multiple software subscriptions. I can create websites, landing pages, sales funnels, lead capture systems, email sequences, automations, and online courses from one dashboard.

“Critical server sync failure ignored by inept support: business operations paralyzed”
What do you like best about Webflow?

At an architecture and front-end development level, the platform offers a powerful visual environment for building high-fidelity websites. When the system works as it should, it allows for agile layout and deployment. Unfortunately, the reliability of its infrastructure has proven to be unstable, and its technical support is completely incapable of diagnosing server issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

The level of technical incompetence from the support team is unacceptable for a tool marketed for professional business use. I have been suffering from a severe two-way syncing failure for over 10 days: the Designer canvas is stuck showing an old, outdated version of the design, while the published domains (both the staging environment and the custom domain) show the correct, updated version. It is impossible to continue working like this.

Instead of escalating this clear server-state failure to engineering, support has forced me to act as my own IT department for days in an endless, senseless loop, continuously blaming my local network. I have had to perform advanced network diagnostics: using clean browser profiles, disabling local firewalls, routing DNS through Cloudflare, and even assigning a static IP and placing my workstation completely inside the router's hardware DMZ to open all ports (including WSS traffic over TCP port 443).

Despite irrefutably proving that the blockage is not local, support keeps stalling, ignoring video evidence (reducing a massive structural canvas failure to a mere "button styling difference"), and blaming a DNS A record that was added just 48 hours ago for a problem that has been active for over a week and a half. To top off this terrible experience, their support portal has a bug and doesn't even send email notifications when they reply to urgent tickets, forcing the user to log in manually to check the status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently, the product is not solving any problems; rather, it is causing severe damage. This structural bug in the editor has completely paralyzed my agency's web design operations for almost two weeks. Being unable to finalize deployments directly and severely impacts delivery deadlines and revenue. If you are a professional who requires technical precision and a support team that takes responsibility for its own infrastructure failures, relying on this tool represents a critical risk to your entire workflow. What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

I dislike that formatting in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides can feel a bit complicated, especially when trying to create clean layouts or apply consistent styles. “Adobe Experience Manager Makes Content and Digital Asset Management Easy”
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I started using Adobe Experience Manager a few months ago while exploring different Adobe tools, and my experience has been positive so far. One thing I found useful is how it helps manage website content and digital assets in a more organized and professional way. In the beginning it took some time to understand the workflow, but after learning the basics, updating content and managing pages became much easier. I also liked that it supports better collaboration for teams working on content and digital projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Since I started using Adobe Experience Manager a few months ago as a learner, one thing I found difficult was that the platform can feel complex for beginners at first. Some features, workflows, and setup steps take time to understand properly, especially for users who are new to content management systems. Because of this learning curve, I was not able to continue using it regularly for some time. I think Adobe could improve the beginner experience by adding simpler tutorials, guided walkthroughs, and more beginner-friendly documentation. This would make it easier for new users and buyers to adopt the platform faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Experience Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

I started using Adobe Experience Manager again a few months ago after trying it a few years back, and I noticed that adobe has improved many things compared to before. The platform now feels more advanced and useful for managing website content, digital assets, and workflows in one place. Earlier, handling and organizing content across different platforms could feel confusing and time consuming, but AEm helps make the process more structured and efficient. As a beginner, the main challenge for me was understanding the workflows and features in the beginning because the platform has many tools and options. But after spending time learning it, I understood why many businesses use it for content management and digital experiences. I think buyers can benefit from it because it helps teams manage content more professionally, saves time, and improves collaboration. compared to many basic CMS platforms, Adobe experience manager feels more enterprise-focused and scalable, especially for companies handling large amounts of digital content. With AI, personalization, and digital experiences becoming more important, I feel AEM can become even more valuable in the future. Beginners who want to learn enterprise-level content management can also start with it because it gives practical exposure to realworld workflows used by larger companies. “User-Friendly Platform with Robust Capabilities, Needs Email Features”
What do you like best about Grigora?

I appreciate Grigora's intuitive drag and drop website builder, which is great for creating websites for coaches and allows them to make changes easily, making it very convenient for me. The robust blogging tools are also a favorite of mine, along with the newsletter function that we have. The platform's all-in-one nature, with both hosting, free SSL, and an integrated CDN, makes website building, blogging, and content management effortless. Additionally, the support is fast and helpful. It is fairly easy to implement if you've worked on similar systems. I use Grigora on a daily basis. Even though I haven't integrated with any it seems pretty straight forward to integrate with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grigora?

I would have loved if the email was included in the package. Another thing is the lack of auto responder functionality, so if someone signs up for a newsletter, there isn't the ability to send them continuous emails after they've signed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The CMS that finally made a government website feel modern”
What do you like best about Sanity?

The Studio is genuinely a pleasure to use, even for non-technical staff. Everything is editable in the way you’d expect from a WordPress-era CMS, but without the baggage. What really won me over is the webhook integration: I’ve got it wired up to Vercel so content changes trigger revalidation instantly. No manual deploys and no cache headaches.

I also run separate dev and production datasets, which keeps my development workflow clean and lets me test schema changes without touching live content. The Vercel integration, in particular, has matured a lot and now feels completely native. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sanity?

The learning curve at the beginning was steeper than I expected - not because Sanity is poorly designed, but because the documentation for more advanced use cases was pretty thin when I first got started. I ended up spending a fair amount of time piecing things together from community posts and examples. That said, the situation has improved noticeably since then: AI-ready resources, more complete skills documentation, and tighter Vercel integration have all arrived, and I think onboarding a project today would be meaningfully faster. What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you?

I manage the official website for a municipal government built on Next.js, with Sanity serving as the content layer across the entire site. Previously, updating content required a developer to touch the code. Now, every page, announcement, and news item is fully manageable through Studio, so non-technical staff can publish and update content in real time without ever touching the codebase. The structured content model has also given us clear, consistent control over SEO metadata site-wide, which would have been painful to manage any other way. Overall, it’s turned what could have been a rigid, hard-to-maintain institutional site into something that actually stays current. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
