Blog Software

Typically, Blog is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Blog Software.

Many personal and professional blogs are created and tracked through website developers that perform the back-end processes of website development so users can build sites from easy-to-follow templates. Blogs fall into the G2 categories Web Content Management (WCM) and Website Builders. They ensure those without extensive development knowledge can have a space in the world wide web without learning complex code or HTML. Some of these tools can integrate with ecommerce platforms to enable users to turn their blog or website into an online store. Many are free at the base but offer users the opportunity to pay for a more in-depth subscription, purchase a domain name or gain access to more themes and templates. Website builders and WCM platforms can also offer analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) tracking features to help users understand their audience demographic. This, in turn, helps users make informed decisions that can foster online growth.

“Clean, Customizable UI with a Generous Free Plan and Strong Performance”
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I love how much you can personalize each website. Being able to date photos and posts from previous months and years is also really helpful for building a historical archive. The website UI is clean, intuitive, and easy to use. On top of that, the free plan is generous and includes a lot of features. I find the overall performance of the website to be good even if it's full of photos and videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

I always felt my website was a bit isolated and it's difficult to browse other websites. I also feel there should be ways to advertise your site through wordpress for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wordpress is consistent, it doesn't change much and when it does it's almost always a change that the community has been asking for. Therefore, I find the 'problem' this solves is that many other sites love to 'fix' things that don't need fixing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Canva?

What I like about Canva is how it help me quickly create polished visuals without depending on a design team. In my corporate role I often prepare client decks, internal reports and quick marketing creatives and the ease of use makes this process very smooth. The ease of implementation is great since I can start working instantly from the browser. It offers a wide number of features like drag and drop editing, templates, brand kits and collaboration tools. Because of my daily design needs my frequency of use is very high. The ease of integration with cloud storage and sharing platforms makes collaboration easier. Also whenever I needed help the tutorials and customer support were quite useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

One thing i have noticed is that while there are many free resources some of the best design elements and templates require a paid subscription. Also sometimes aligning elements perfectly can take a bit of manual adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva solves the problem of creating professional quality design quickly without needing advanced design skills. IS
“Clean, Structured Content Management Built for Real World Use”
What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and also manage a clinic, where a big part of my work involves creating educational content for patients. This includes writing diet guidance, explaining health topics in a simple way, and preparing material that patients can read and understand after consultations. HubSpot Content Hub fits very naturally into this type of work.

What I like most about Content Hub is how easy it makes content creation and organization. Writing blog posts, editing content, and structuring information feels smooth and intuitive. I do not have to struggle with technical steps, which allows me to focus more on the actual content and patient education.

The setup process is straightforward. Creating a blog, adding content, images, and making edits does not require extra configuration or technical support. This is helpful when managing clinic work alongside content creation, as time is always limited.

One feature I find especially useful is the built-in AI chat support. Most of the time, when I have questions about editing, layout, or content options, the AI support helps me quickly without needing to search outside or contact someone separately. It feels well-built and reliable for day-to-day guidance.

I use Content Hub whenever there is a need to create or update educational material. It is not about publishing content every day, but using it when there is a real requirement for structured and clear information. This flexible usage fits well with my professional workflow.

The platform offers a good range of features without feeling overwhelming. Tools for writing, formatting, adding images, and organizing posts are all in one place. I can use only what I need and ignore the rest, which keeps the experience clean and focused.

Integration with other HubSpot tools is another strong point. Since everything works within the same ecosystem, managing content feels connected rather than scattered across different platforms. This makes long term content management easier.

Overall, HubSpot Content Hub works as a reliable and professional tool for creating educational and clinic-related content. It supports clear communication, saves time, and helps maintain consistency in the information shared with patients. For someone working in healthcare education and clinic management, it adds real value to daily work rather than feeling like an extra tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?

There is no major issue, but initially the interface can take some time to get used to because there are many options available. For someone mainly focused on writing educational or clinic-related content, a few features may feel unnecessary at first.

At times, simple actions involve multiple steps, which can slightly slow down the workflow during busy hours. However, this improves once you become more familiar with the platform.

Overall, these are minor points and do not affect the quality or usefulness of Content Hub for regular content work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?

HubSpot Content Hub helps solve the common problem of managing educational and informational content in a structured way. In my work as a Dietician and Nutritionist managing a clinic, a lot of information is shared repeatedly with patients, such as diet guidance, lifestyle advice, and health explanations. Without a proper system, this content often remains scattered across documents, notes, or different tools. Content Hub brings everything into one organized platform.

One major problem it solves is inconsistency in communication. When information is shared verbally or through different formats, the message can vary each time. Content Hub allows me to create clear, written content that stays consistent. This helps ensure that patients receive the same guidance every time, whether they read it immediately or later.

Another challenge in daily work is time. Creating structured content from scratch again and again is time-consuming. Content Hub reduces this effort by providing a clean editor, easy formatting, and a clear workflow. This allows me to focus more on the quality of the content rather than worrying about layout or technical details.

It also helps solve the issue of clarity for patients. Many patients prefer simple written guidance that they can revisit. Content Hub makes it easy to present information in a readable and organized manner, which improves understanding and reduces confusion. This directly supports better patient education without adding extra workload.

For clinic-related work, flexibility is important. Content Hub allows content to be created, updated, and refined as needed. If a diet recommendation changes or needs clarification, it can be updated easily. This makes content management more practical and reliable over time.

Another benefit is the built-in support system. The AI chat support and guidance available within the platform help resolve most questions quickly. This reduces dependency on external help and keeps the workflow uninterrupted, which is very helpful during busy workdays.

Overall, HubSpot Content Hub solves the problem of scattered information, inconsistent messaging, and time-consuming content creation. It benefits me by making educational content more organized, easier to manage, and more effective for patient communication. Instead of feeling like a marketing tool, it works well as a practical content management solution that supports real professional and educational needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Umbraco because it provides an easy-to-set-up platform that offers high customizability, making it a fantastic choice for web development. The myriad possibilities it offers for customization are truly endless, allowing me to tailor my projects precisely to client needs. The user-friendly Backoffice is incredibly well-designed, with a strong focus on the end-user experience, which greatly contributes to client satisfaction. Additionally, the supportive and vibrant community surrounding Umbraco is something I cherish, as it fosters collaboration and continuous learning. Switching to Umbraco from EPiServer, now Optimizely, was a seamless process, enhancing my workflow without issues. Overall, Umbraco’s combination of flexibility, ease of use, and community engagement makes it my top recommendation for other developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Umbraco?

I find it inconvenient that you need to create document types through the UI in Umbraco, as it limits a true code-first experience. This approach requires a lot of extra work, which can be cumbersome. However, once I adjusted to it, it became manageable by hooking up document types to auto-generated C# classes for easier coding. I find Hygraph pretty simple and straightforward without a steep learning curve like other CMS platforms. I signed up and within 10 minutes, after adding the APIs and connecting to my app, it was ready to go. The app doesn't overwhelm with unnecessary features. “A great website builder for growing agencies.”
What do you like best about Duda?

My agency has been using Duda for over 8 years. We have about 200 websites on the platform and managing those sites is much easier on Duda than any other platforms we have experience with.

Out of the box, Duda works great and performs great with all the web metrics that are important to my agency and our clients.

Building websites is quick and efficient, whether you're using a pre-built template, or starting from scratch.

There are a number of integrations and widgets that are easy to implement and update, and when my clients are looking for something more custom, we are able to easily develop new widgets and features to work seamlessly on Duda sites.

My team is working within the Duda dashboard every day, and we launch new sites each month.

Issues are sparse, but when we encounter one, Duda Support is quick to help us resolve our issues in a way that achieves our clients' goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Duda?

Duda is a bit of an "unknown" to clients, but this can be a blessing when going up against other design teams using WordPress, Wix, Weebly, SquareSpace, etc. because of how Duda stacks up when thinking about performance metrics like SEO, site speed, accessibility and responsiveness. Recommendations to others considering Duda:

This is a great web builder if you don't need a backend database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The CMS that finally made a government website feel modern”
What do you like best about Sanity?

The Studio is genuinely a pleasure to use, even for non-technical staff. Everything is editable in the way you’d expect from a WordPress-era CMS, but without the baggage. What really won me over is the webhook integration: I’ve got it wired up to Vercel so content changes trigger revalidation instantly. No manual deploys and no cache headaches.

I also run separate dev and production datasets, which keeps my development workflow clean and lets me test schema changes without touching live content. The Vercel integration, in particular, has matured a lot and now feels completely native. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sanity?

The learning curve at the beginning was steeper than I expected - not because Sanity is poorly designed, but because the documentation for more advanced use cases was pretty thin when I first got started. I ended up spending a fair amount of time piecing things together from community posts and examples. That said, the situation has improved noticeably since then: AI-ready resources, more complete skills documentation, and tighter Vercel integration have all arrived, and I think onboarding a project today would be meaningfully faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you?

I manage the official website for a municipal government built on Next.js, with Sanity serving as the content layer across the entire site. Previously, updating content required a developer to touch the code. Now, every page, announcement, and news item is fully manageable through Studio, so non-technical staff can publish and update content in real time without ever touching the codebase. The structured content model has also given us clear, consistent control over SEO metadata site-wide, which would have been painful to manage any other way. Overall, it’s turned what could have been a rigid, hard-to-maintain institutional site into something that actually stays current. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Google Workspace Keeps My Day Organized with Seamless, Connected Collaboration”
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

What I like best about Google Workspace is how easy it is to use across the workday, especially in a role like mine where I need to stay organized, communicate clearly, and move between different tasks quickly. As a Mental Health Case Manager, I regularly rely on Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Google Docs, and it is helpful having everything connected in one place instead of switching between separate platforms. It makes scheduling, team communication, note-sharing, and document collaboration feel much more streamlined.

I also really like the overall interface and aesthetic. Everything feels clean, modern, and intuitive, which makes it easier to find what I need without wasting time. That may sound minor, but when you are using a platform constantly throughout the day, the visual simplicity and layout make a difference. Google Workspace also works really well across different devices, which is a big plus. Being able to access the same email threads, calendars, files, and meeting links easily from my laptop or phone makes it much easier to stay on top of things when I am not sitting in one place all day.

Another thing I find valuable is the real-time collaboration. Google Docs in particular is useful when working with teammates because multiple people can edit, comment, and review information at the same time without version confusion. Overall, Google Workspace has been one of the most practical and reliable parts of my day-to-day workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

The integration is a strength overall, but there are moments when settings, permissions, or file locations are not as immediately obvious as they could be. In a fast-paced role like mine, even small delays in finding the right document or confirming access can be frustrating.

I find that the mobile experience, while very useful, is not always as smooth as desktop for tasks that require more detail, especially when reviewing longer documents or managing multiple tabs of information at once. Another minor issue is that shared Drives and heavily used folders can become visually crowded over time if teams are not consistent with naming and organization. None of these are major problems, and the platform is still very reliable overall, but there is definitely some room to make navigation and file management feel a little more streamlined.

On the onboarding side, Google Workspace is relatively easy to get up and running with because the tools are familiar, and in my experience it does not require much training to start using core functions like Gmail, Calendar, Meet, and Docs effectively. In terms of AI, features like smart compose, suggested replies, and other built-in prompts are helpful for saving small amounts of time throughout the day, especially when handling a high volume of communication and routine documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Workspace is solving a lot of the day-to-day coordination problems that come up in a fast-paced work environment. In my role, the biggest benefit is having communication, scheduling, meetings, file storage, and collaborative documents all connected in one system. It reduces the need to jump between disconnected platforms and makes it much easier to keep track of emails, calendars, shared notes, and team documents without losing time. That has a real impact on workflow because it helps things move more efficiently and keeps communication clearer across teams.

It is also especially helpful for collaboration and access. Being able to work in the same document with other people in real time, join meetings quickly through Calendar links, and access files from different devices makes the workday feel much more organized and flexible. From my perspective as an end user, the value comes from how much time and friction it saves in everyday tasks. Pricing and ROI are not really areas I am directly involved in, since I use Google Workspace through my employer rather than being part of the purchasing or decision-making process, but from a usability standpoint it has been very practical and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“HighLevel Streamlines Email Campaigns, Automations, and Client Communication at Scale”
What do you like best about HighLevel?

HighLevel provides an all-in-one platform for managing email campaigns, automations, and client communication at scale. As a marketing agency, we use it to run email outreach, nurture sequences, and automated workflows for artists, record labels, and business clients. The ability to manage campaigns, track performance, and automate follow-ups in one system helps streamline operations and maintain consistency across multiple clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

Because HighLevel offers a wide range of features, there can be a learning curve when setting up more advanced automations and workflows. Some areas of the interface require time to configure properly, especially when managing multiple campaigns or clients. However, once set up, the platform is stable and effective for ongoing marketing operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HighLevel solving and how is that benefiting you?

HighLevel helps us centralize email marketing, automation, and campaign performance tracking for multiple clients in one platform. We use it to manage outreach, nurture leads, and automate follow-ups without relying on separate tools. This reduces manual work, improves response consistency, and gives us clear visibility into campaign performance, allowing our team to scale marketing efforts more efficiently.
