Having a good "DAM" is essential for keeping our workflow going and saving time searching for content. Our team utilizes this interface multiple times a day, it is an essential tool for our productivity. Being able to preview every file type (apart from a Zip file) is amazing. There is even integrated editing software for those that don't already have something native on their computer. Organization of assets. AI generated Keyword population. Lower interaction between departments for content as team members get used to looking on the DAM (PIC.IO) first and just doing a quick query before sending an email or making a phone call as they have the same access as we do for finding such an asset. Simply because, while it tags the good bits, it also tags less significant parts like 'arm' on a picture of a person. I won't be searching that any time soon! The ability to share assets with contractors through the websites that come with PICS.IO. **What do you dislike about PICS.IO?** It is time-consuming and tedious, depending on how many assets you are trying to host. If you have a lot of assets, you will need to create your folder structure ahead of time and then categorize by keyword each asset as you upload it. You may process assets in any order or create folder structures on the fly. But it will take time to upload everything you have. But this would be the case with any DAM you were using. Remeber you are limited by the amount of storage you are paying for but you can also archive assets no longer in use. **Recommendations to others considering PICS.IO:** I recommend contacting them to request a demo; they are great at answering questions and showing you what this DAM can do for your unique business needs. Pics.io has eliminated all of these issues in one fell swoop. We surveyed other D.A.M. solutions, and the main problem with those other vendors was the outrageous cost of storage space.
