What do you like best about Xero?

Xero is very user friendly - from set up to creating reports. You are able to complete all your accounting/bookkeeping tasks in one place. The few times I have had to use customer support, I have had a prompt response and interaction with them until the issue was resolved. We moved from Quickbooks to Xero and the transition went smoothly from start to finish. Their ai banking reconciliation is wonderful. I was skeptical at first but after using it a few months, I am extremely happy with the way it works and the amount of time it saves me. I highly recommend using Xero for your small business! What do you dislike about Xero?

There are 2 small downsides to using Xero for our company. First, they are not able to integrate with the credit union that we use for our checking/savings accounts. It adds an additional step each month of downloading the transactions into the software and therefore, we do not have up to date information daily. The other downside is that they do not have the option of setting up a finance charge for late payments on sales invoices. We have to manually calculate that finance charge and add it. The use of Xero has created a huge time-saving factor around the accounting/bookkeeping aspect of my job. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I love the ability to title my invoices with specific details, which I find is unavailable in other systems. The reporting in Intacct is easy and searching for information is easy. There are plenty of filters to use and creating your own views make it easy for each individual user. Setting up recurring invoices is quick and easy. Prorating invoice amounts is a cinch with the proration button. Reporting issues is easy through the "Help & Support" tab. The customer support is quick to answer any questions or concerns. What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Updating a customer's address is annoying. If you've already created an invoice or sales order and need to update the address or contact details, you need to recreate the invoice or sales order for it to grab the new details. It doesn't automatically update. Setting up a recurring invoice requires you to add the customer as a recurring customer. If the auto payments aren't run very early in the morning and you have an open invoice for that customer, it will pay all invoices if that customer was set up as recurring. I appreciate the flexibility Unanet offers. We handle our invoicing through the platform, and it also manages our timekeeping. The timekeeping data is then sent to our payroll company. Unanet integrates with several of our other software applications, such as BambooHR. The support team at Unanet is outstanding—they respond quickly with answers or offer to schedule an online session to guide me through any issues. There really isn’t much to dislike about Unanet. However, when it comes to Unanet support, I do wish they could meet with me on the same day I have a question. Even better, Campfire is a new player in the space, and they’re already shaking things up.
