We've been using Uptime.com for over 5 years, and it's been a great tool for what it's designed to do.

  ### 11. Best monitoring tool for small and medium enterprises with 100% visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com provides a highly reliable and comprehensive monitoring platform that is easy to scale across multiple environments and services. The alerting is consistent and timely, the dashboards are intuitive, and the variety of check types allows us to monitor everything from basic HTTP endpoints to complex multi-step transactions. I especially appreciate the clarity of reporting, SLA tracking, and the flexibility to customize alert rules and contact groups. Overall, it has significantly improved our ability to detect incidents early and maintain visibility across our infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

While the platform is strong overall, a few areas could be improved. The UI can feel slightly cluttered when managing a large number of monitors, and bulk editing or reorganizing checks sometimes requires more steps than expected. Historical reporting is good but could offer more granular filtering and customization options. Additionally, integrations are solid, but advanced configuration for alert routing or automation could be more intuitive. None of these are blockers, but enhancements here would streamline day-to-day operations even further.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us identify service issues early and reduce customer-impacting downtime. It provides reliable, real-time visibility into the health of our applications, APIs, DNS records, and SSL certificates—areas where failures can be difficult to detect quickly without a unified monitoring platform. The automated alerts and SLA tracking streamline our incident-response process, allowing teams to react faster and with better context. As a result, we maintain higher service availability, resolve issues more efficiently, and proactively address performance or configuration problems before they escalate.

  ### 12. More than I expected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We were using a competitor prior to coming to Uptime.com. We needed a few more features and after going through the demos and seeing what was being offered and speaking with the customer support team, I quickly understood the value of Uptime. The flexibility of being able to create and monitor virtually anything and display the status on a self created Status screen is what I value most. Also, being able to creating 1-minute monitors from many different locations within the US to help identity networks issues vs a real problem is an outstanding feature and so easy to implement. Well done Uptime!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com is a serious tool that you must be willing to invest in.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a tool to provide our customers a view into our service availability and help prove our SLA from a third party point of view. We also needed a tool for our internal team to immediately know if a problem is occurring with our service vs some other network reachability problem. Uptime solves both of these issues for us.

  ### 13. Immediate Alerts Make Uptime.com Indispensable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** yasi g. | Marketing Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com for tracking the downtime on our blog and I find the immediate alert feature incredibly helpful. It's great because sometimes the alert comes after business hours, giving me an extra layer of security to share with the engineering team. The automated email alert that comes directly to my inbox is invaluable for knowing when our site goes down. Additionally, the initial setup was simple and took only a few seconds.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing comes to mind

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to track our blog's downtime. I get an immediate alert if it's down, even after hours, adding a security layer for my team. The automated email alerts directly to my inbox keep me updated on site status.

  ### 14. Reliable monitoring tool with excellent alerting features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessio D. | Cybersecurity Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What I appreciate most about Uptime.com is its reliability and ease of use. The platform provides clear, real-time visibility into the status of our websites and services, with detailed reports and customizable dashboards. I also value the flexible alerting system, which ensures that the right people are notified immediately through multiple channels (email, SMS, Slack, etc.). The setup was straightforward, and the customer support team has always been responsive and helpful when needed. Overall, it gives me confidence that potential downtime is detected before it becomes a serious issue.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

While Uptime.com is very effective, there are a few areas for improvement. The pricing model can become a bit high for smaller teams that need advanced features. Some reports could also offer deeper historical analysis and more customization options to make trend monitoring easier. Additionally, the mobile app works fine but could be more intuitive and offer the same depth of data as the desktop version. These are minor drawbacks, but refining them would make the overall experience even better.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us proactively identify website or service outages before they affect our end users. It continuously monitors availability, performance, and response times from multiple locations worldwide, which allows us to detect regional or ISP-specific issues that we would otherwise miss. By having timely alerts and detailed incident reports, we can reduce downtime, meet SLA requirements, and provide a better user experience. It also saves the team valuable time by centralizing monitoring and notifications, so we don’t have to rely on manual checks or multiple tools.

Uptime.com gives businesses peace of mind by detecting problems immediately, allowing fast resolution, and keeping everyone informed - transforming downtime from a crisis into a manageable incident.

  ### 16. Great product which has come a long way!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inderpal A. | Senior Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Always been a fan of the dashboard's UI - the new additions have also been good and easy to navigate.

Ease of Integration with 3rd party such as Retool.

The custom support has always been brilliant - Chinedu has always looked after us and our queries.

Number of calls we can make is really nice, some of our checks run every 5 mins daily and this has been very quick to identify issue with suppliers, sometimes even before the supplier knows about it!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I would love it if there was conditional logic available, for example, our website renders differently based on geo location. If geolocation = x, then check for something, otherwise check for something else. I think this addition would be very powerful.

Although I see Webhook now available as a monitoring check, I would like it if we could expose an endpoint in Uptime so that we could send a ping to, which triggers an alert if the webhook receives a request.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring of 3rd party suppliers, and also internal processes. Checks endpoints are responding and not timing out, monitors feeds are being updated regularly.

This helps us identify and rectify when issues occur, quickly.

  ### 17. Reliable API Monitoring with Great Reporting Features

  ### 24. Cost-Effective, User-Friendly Monitoring with Quick Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I appreciate Uptime.com for being incredibly cost-effective compared to other tools, offering excellent value for its features and services. The user-friendly interface makes it easy for me to navigate and utilize the platform efficiently for monitoring my application's availability and login status. I value how quickly the support team responds to any issues I encounter, providing prompt resolutions and demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction. They are open to implementing new features that I request, showing a willingness to adapt and improve the service based on customer feedback. Additionally, Uptime.com seamlessly integrates with tools I already use, like PagerDuty and Slack, enhancing its utility and fit within my existing workflow.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I find the 10-minute interval for transaction checks to be problematic. If my application experiences a brief downtime of 2-3 minutes and a check happens to trigger during that time, it results in a failed check. Even if the application is back up in the next 2-3 minutes, the failed status remains until the next check runs 10 minutes later. It would be beneficial if there was an option to re-run a check once an issue is resolved to reduce reported downtime.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com for monitoring my application's external availability, ensuring login checks and detecting downtime efficiently with cost-effectiveness, user-friendly UI, and responsive support.

**Official Response from Anna White:**

> We appreciate your feedback.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea G. | IoT consultant and Scrum Master, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We have been customers of Uptime for four years now, and we are delighted with the service offered. Its main features are the flexibility - guaranteed by many executable test types - the ease of use (you don't need to be an engineer to use the platform), and the peace of mind you get knowing that a serious and reliable company monitors your services.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

At this time, we have nothing of note to report.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to monitor the reachability of our services and provide detailed reports on the SLAs we guarantee to our customers.
On both fronts, Uptime proved capable of satisfying our needs, today we have a customized and public dashboard that allows our customers to know the operating status of the platform, and we automatically send, every month, a report that guarantees the respect of the SLAs.

**Official Response from Anna White:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive feedback Andrea! We value your insights about the platform and we're happy to be of service.

This efficiency in onboarding has allowed us to maximize the software's functionalities without any major technical hurdles.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I really like Uptime.com for its fair pricing and very fast support. Whenever I've had issues, they've been resolved quickly, often with the help of the account manager. I used my personal AI tool to assist with the first configurations of monitors.

  ### 34. Easy Setup and Updates, But Needs External Service Status Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime monitoring/checks and status pages are very easy to configure and update. Team members can get up to speed quickly on how to add checks, components, incidents and maintenance events. I've also been very impressed with the responsiveness of the Uptime Support team when we have needed assistance.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The only thing I see lacking at this point in the Uptime status pages, is a way to add links to commonly used external services -- for example, cloud service provider status pages, or third-party providers that integrate with our product. Sometimes these external services can be experiencing issues which impact our client sites -- so it would be great if users could just see that one of those publicly available status pages is showing an active incident or maintenance which may be affecting their site.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime site monitoring allows our Cloud support team to respond to potential issues before customers submit tickets -- and often before the issues are noticeable on their site. We are also using Uptime for internal status pages, to keep our internal teams informed about incidents and planned maintenance. We plan to also use external status pages in the future. Both the monitoring and the status pages are improving customer satisfaction and efficiency for our support teams.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We have been with Uptime for a few years now, and seen a continuous improvement and addition of new features (the price crept up a little as well, but oh well, post Covid world...)
The system is available (I get from time to time messages that certain probe servers are down, but it never affected us directly) It gives very few false alerts (I think I got one in all these years), and is always alerts us when a server goes down, it never missed.
I have interacted a few times with their customer service and they were always helpful.
The various Contacts options allow us to send emails directly to the customers, if their specific server goes down.
They have (relatively) recently improved the graphs and the retention.
We make use of both the http and the API checks.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The only thing I dislike is that it does not remember how many checks to list in Monitoring - it always defaults to 10. I would prefer it to stay on what I selected earlier, in the same session (e.g. 50).

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It alerts if the response time of the web server goes over a certain threshold, indicating a problem, or unavailability.

  ### 48. Simply a great external monitoring solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie R. | Director, Network Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com offers a clean, intuitive interface that makes it easy to set up and manage monitoring checks. The dashboard is well-organized, with real-time data and visualizations that are easy to interpret. Setting up HTTP(S), DNS, and SSL checks takes just a few clicks, and the platform supports advanced configurations like custom headers, content matching, and multi-step transactions without requiring a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Pricing is a bit steep but provide an overall good value. The only billing method currently is by credit card and there isn't a way to establish a Corporate account for invoicing and payment by other methods.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Back in 2020, the Network team needed to address external monitoring and providing a realistic UE for our websites. Our current monitoring tool was limited to internal probing and had some shortcomings in website transaction monitoring. With Uptime.com, not only did we address the website problem but we were able to monitor a hosted SAAS application for a call center. We were able to gain real time alerts ahead of third-party support for this application.

  ### 49. User-Friendly Setup, But Limited Customization for Complex Monitoring

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It's user friendly and does not require high technical skills to setup an alert/monitoring

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

It's very templated and loses the ability to be more customized for complex monitoring

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's solving our problem of multiple users accessing the UI/monitoring with no cost at all that other platforms charged per seat

**Official Response from Elias Laham:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!
We would really like to learn more about your complex monitoring expectations. We do have a variety of monitoring checks that may be what you are looking for and have been missed along the way. If you would like to reach out to Support@uptime.com, we would love to try and assist further.

  ### 50. It has been useful and has served us well. Good value!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The platform is straightforward and easy to use, and it is easy to setup and test monitors. There are a lot of options regarding *what* to monitor. I like the ability to schedule maintenance mode.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

No real downsides. I would like to see a way to retroactively turn on maintenance mode for an alert. I would also like to see more suggestions about what kinds of things I should monitor for a particular kind of system or device.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have external-facing services and we want to get notified when they are not available or not behaving properly. This has to be an external service, because otherwise any failure related to connectivity will block the notifications. Uptime.com has solved that dilemma for us, at a reasonable cost with very little ongoing care-and-feeding needed.
