**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What we like best about Uptime.com is its reliability and simplicity. The platform is incredibly intuitive, which makes it easy for both technical and non-technical team members to set up and manage monitoring tasks.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

For smaller teams or organizations with many checks, the pricing can become a bit steep as you scale up. That said, this isn't a deal-breaker, and Uptime.com continues to be a solid and reliable tool for our monitoring needs.

Uptime is helping us solve several critical monitoring and operational challenges that directly impact the reliability of our services. The main problems it addresses include:

Service Downtime Detection - Uptime.com ensures we’re immediately alerted if any part of our infrastructure goes down, whether it’s a public-facing website or a backend API. This helps us react quickly and minimize downtime, which is essential for maintaining a positive user experience.

Performance Monitoring – By continuously tracking response times and transaction flows, we get early warnings about slowdowns or issues before they escalate. This proactive insight allows us to optimize performance and maintain service quality.

Multi-Location Monitoring – We benefit from monitoring checks run from multiple global locations, which helps us identify region-specific issues and maintain global uptime standards.

Accountability and Reporting – The detailed reports and logs help us track SLA compliance and provide clear visibility to stakeholders during incident reviews.

Overall, Uptime.com enables us to maintain high service reliability, reduce the impact of outages, and stay ahead of performance issues—all of which are crucial for both our technical operations and customer satisfaction.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dmytro Y.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like the price, the number of servers for checks, the ability to send SMS, the availability of an app, and the very clear and intuitive interface of Uptime.com. The setup is very simple. Thanks to SMS notifications, I promptly find out if my service is unavailable or the response speed is low, before customers start complaining.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Perhaps, it is worth improving the UI a bit. Although adding and managing monitoring is simple, some control elements (for example, adding hosts to a group) are not intuitively placed.

  ### 5. A Solid Partner for Reliability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I’ve been really impressed with Uptime.com. The platform is easy to use, reliable, and packed with features that give me complete visibility into uptime, performance, and reliability.

One of the standout features for me is the status page. It’s incredibly simple to set up and makes it effortless to manage communication from the beginning of an incident through resolution. This streamlined flow has been a game-changer for building trust with stakeholders.

I also love the historic availability reporting. Calculating uptime for a specific date range is useful not only for internal tracking but also for demonstrating performance metrics to customers and leadership.

Compared to other monitoring tools I’ve used, Uptime.com strikes the perfect balance of power, simplicity, and value. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants peace of mind knowing their systems are being monitored 24/7.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I would like it to be a centralized incident management tool. It's great as is, but could be better.

Additional features desired:
Rich on-call scheduling & escalation policies with overlapping shifts, rotations etc.

Integration with ticketing/issue tracking systems so that incidents automatically generate tickets, and these are tracked over time.

Deep root-cause analysis tools, post-mortem workflows, and continuous improvement tracking.

Advanced severity classification, custom incident states, structured incident roles (commander, comms, etc.).

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to calculate availability based on a time range, and see incidents that detracted from downtime. Very helpful for RFPs and vendor contracts.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that the functionality of Uptime.com is fairly comprehensive and flexible. It's relatively easy to configure, works well, and is priced competitively. I can configure multi-step transactions to test web application functionality to ensure everything is working as expected.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing I've identified so far.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com for monitoring uptime and automated testing of our applications, ensuring functionality through multi-step transactions. It also provides a public status page, helping us communicate incidents and maintenance to customers.

  ### 25. Simple and Practical, But Pricing Transparency Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I appreciate the simplicity of this product, along with its clean console interface and practical functionalities.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The information about pricing and paid features was not very clear. For instance, after we had already subscribed to an annual license, we found out that there was an additional charge for private locations, which we needed in order to monitor our services from EU countries.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my view, Uptime stands out as the best product for monitoring and testing uptime continuity. Unlike others, it allows you to monitor from private locations and install private probes within your own infrastructure, enabling you to keep an eye on internal services as well. At the same time, it provides the capability to perform synthetic transactional checks, which I find particularly valuable.

  ### 28. Great product, excellent customer service and flexible pricing!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The flexible pricing allows you to buy bolt ons as you grow which is perfect for smaller organisations and start ups! We recently had to increase our number of licenses and it was a real pleasure that uptime provided these at a good price. I am too used to price-gouging when you hit the top of a pricing tier and Uptime have always been fair.

Customer support has always been extremely fast, efficient and helpful.

The platform itself is reliable and easy to use and has improved significantly since we started using it.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I would like more control over where the monitors are run from but not a big problem.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great visibility of issues with our critical user journeys let us proactively fix problems

  ### 30. Uptime is a lifesaver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh D. | QA and Technical Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime is a lifesaver for our production support team, before Uptime we were monitoring our production sites manually or through a few automation scripts, sometime we will not get time to monitor, or sometimes scripts may get fail, we don’t know until the customer reports there was an issue with site access or performance issues, now we are out of all those issues, Uptime checks are helping us a lot, whenever there is an issue with any production site our support team will be notified with SMS, Email and Phone call and then we will immediately inform our customers and take care of the issues. Also, SLA and scheduled reports are very useful to our customers, recently we have created status pages with Uptime support team help, and it is also helping us in a great way. Overall we highly recommend using Uptime if someone is looking for Monitoring software.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

As per our knowledge and experience, we like everything in Uptime, there is nothing to dislike :)

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site Accessing Issues
SLA Reports

  ### 31. Uptime - great tool for MSPs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan R. | IT Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We use Uptime to monitor all of our broadband connections for our customers. It notifies us when the connection is no longer ping-able.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Perhaps could include different notification settings.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notifies us when a connection/circuit is offline instantly so we can act as soon as possible.

  ### 32. Outstanding Monitoring & Reliability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | Principal System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What stands out most is the accuracy and speed of their alerts—we’re notified instantly of any downtime or performance issues, which allows us to respond proactively before customers are even impacted. The dashboard is clean and user-friendly, making it easy for both technical teams and leadership to understand system health at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Takes a bit of time to setup, learning curve for advanced features, all the advanced options (like multi-step transactions) required some trial and error.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any downtime of our websites and services. We have some internal services that can be difficult to monitor by making calls outside our network.

  ### 33. Effortless Monitoring and Unmatched Reliability with uptime.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack D. | Director of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The uptime.com website is very easy to use and to add network checks. In addition, I have never experienced an outage with this service.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There is nothing that I can say that I dislike about this site/service. It is truly worth every cent we invest into it.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Letting me know when sites are down, if services are running slow and if certain sites are experiencing issues logging users in.

  ### 34. Uptime.com has been our go-to uptime and performance checker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We like how flexible Uptime.com is. We can perform many actions on our checks for maintenance and analysis; we set up various types of web and network checks, and even have the ability to write Uptime configuration as Terraform code. Other providers charge way too much for something Uptime.com can do. It integrates well with our other on-call and communication systems. We don't have to worry or fiddle around too much about our setup.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Sometimes managing metadata for many checks was annoying through the website, involving more clicking than desired. I would appreciate having more expressive ways to manage many checks.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com checks our website performance and uptime from the outside, so we know how our application is doing from an external user's perspective.

  ### 35. Easy-to-Use, Feature-Rich Uptime with Smooth Integration

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Quick action is taken by uptime when the application is down.
Even provide which External Url is down.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

We would like to learn a bit more about your experience with the new version of Uptime.com and better understand which areas feel more complicated compared to the previous version. Your feedback will help us identify opportunities to make the platform easier to navigate and use.

We have a few questions and ask that you please reach out to our support team at support@uptime.com to allow us to continue looking into this for you.

  ### 36. Efficient external endpoints testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomer C. | DevOps Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Intuitive UI, ability to configure and implement using the UI and API (IaC) makes the integration easy. Quick replies from customer support and very good documentation.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Since we are using Uptime for long time, it is hard for us to keep up with all the new features and integrations (like SaaS tests, which we haven't tried yet).

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reliable external endpoint and infrastructure testing from outside our own environment.

  ### 37. Effortless and Simple System That Gets the Job Done

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

With our type of usecase - i really didnt have any issues to complaint about - simple and doing the work.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to test the availability of our hosted env. from the customer pov - this is just that.

  ### 38. Effortless Setup, Reliable Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Easy to use and the value for money.
Set up was very easy, the demo call was very useful with friendly members on hand to answer questions and show the product.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing to dislike at the moment, but that is because once set up we havnt really had to use change much.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are required to know if our website is down. This is especially needed out of hours and uptime alerts us of this.

  ### 41. Simple to Use & Reliable Uptime Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com was much easier to implement and maintain than previous providers. Beyond that their customer support team was able to help us along the way and always willing to jump on a call or answer emails with questions. The integration with MS Teams was big for us to allow our entire team the ability to see alerts in real time. Since implementation things have ran very smoothly and we've felt comfortable knowing that our critical systems are being monitored.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

No major dislikes of Uptime.com. The biggest gripe would be around SSL monitoring and they way the alerts come across. It makes it sound like the system is down, even though its a 30 day alert that its going to expire. The other minor thing is that sometimes it takes longer than it should for a system to show as back online after an outage.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wanting to monitor critical systems while integrating with Microsoft Teams to connect our entire team with outages.

  ### 42. Reliable Monitoring and Exceptional Support: Why We Trust Uptime.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor B. | Director, IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We've relied on Uptime.com for 3 years to provide around 100 checks on our systems. It's been a game changer for us in not only monitoring basic systems uptime, but also more sophisticated transaction monitoring, domain expiry, SSL certificate expiry, and more.

Alerts, notifications, and reports are easy to create and manage, and the alert details and root cause analysis are easy to follow and incredibly descriptive.

The support team at Uptime.com is amazing. I recently encountered an issue with one of my simple HTTP checks failing occasionally. I looked at my system internally and couldn't see any issues, so I decided to reach out to Uptime.com. Since it was intermittent, and I couldn't provide much detail, other than the error, I wasn't' too hopeful they would be able to assist.

My initial request was responded to in short order...within 25 minutes. A few hours later, I received another update that my ticket had been escalated to the Technical team, and included a detailed description of the problem, and what they were doing to resolve it. This included working with my hosting provider directly. In addition, they offered an easy to implement, temporary solution, to ensure I could accurately monitor my system until a fix was in place.

I received several status updates from the Uptime.com team, and by early the next day, Uptime.com had tested and implemented a fix for the issue I was encountering, including instructions and a screenshot for how to implement.

They left the ticket open for a few days for me to monitor, and checked back with me to ensure my issue was resolved.

I've been in tech for close to 30 years, and have had only a handful of support encounters as seamless and collaborative as this one. Hats off to Uptime.com, and their stellar support team!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Creating complex transactional checks can be a bit difficult, but we've had great success getting the Uptime.com team to work with on building these.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us catch issues before our users do—whether it’s a server outage, a failed transaction, or an expired SSL certificate. It provides peace of mind knowing there's a responsive, knowledgeable support team behind the product if something doesn’t work right. It frees up my team to focus on building and improving products instead of manually checking infrastructure health.

  ### 43. So far so good but it needs more work on the Terraform provider side

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It does have Terraform support for the most basic features. I like how you can check from multiple locations. I like the slack and opsgenie support

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

That the terraform provider does not match the features of the product. It seems that the terraform provider is more of an after thought. For example support for Vault and Escalations is lacking.

Terraform support is the main reason I chose uptime

I wish the filter by tags is based on "and" instead of "or". By adding more tags to my filter I want to narrow down the results instead of add more results

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to know which locations our sites are down for around the world.

  ### 44. Really Simple - but works

The interface is straightforward and simple to configure. Creating reports is also a breeze. Additionally, contacting customer support is hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some reports display very limited data, and the reports overall are not well organized or do not present precise information.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com addresses critical issues affecting our customers' websites, applications, and infrastructure.

  ### 46. Robust Features, Simple Interface, and Great Support

I rely on it for service alerting, monitoring certificate expiration, and conducting end-to-end synthetic monitoring of applications.

  ### 48. Awesome tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederick H. | Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I love the public status page. It gives us the ability to point to it when we have an outage during a planned maintenance of the website. It also was super easy to setup and gives our percentage of uptime for the website that allow us to track some of our KPIs. The price is also really nice.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

For the plan that we are using, occasionally if there is a lot of changes being done during a short time, we will run out of SMS messages.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us an alert when the application pool goes down or sql goes down for our website.

  ### 49. Experience with uptime.com services

The easiness to create tests and also complex tests (with many steps), is outstanding!!!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

To be honest I do not have anything bad to say about it.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use uptime to alert us if any of our sites are down or answering with a wrong status code. I also know from some teams that use as kind of integration test live.
