**Reviewed by:** Jeffery G. | Director of IT and Cybersecurity, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com has been a game-changer. It allows me to stay ahead of outages before my end users even report them. Alerts are delivered directly to my app, via text, or through Teams—eliminating the need to constantly monitor a dashboard for visibility.

It’s been especially helpful for receiving real-time pings outside of normal business hours without having to actively watch for issues. After recently transitioning to a new organization, I brought Uptime.com with me, and my current team has already recognized its value tenfold within just a few weeks.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There is no Android application. IOS only. Thought I am an Apple user myself, most of the engineers I hire are Android users. This has required us to set up alerting into our Teams applications so that those users can receive alerts on their mobile deivces.

It allows me to stay ahead of outages before my end users even report them.

It alerts us about clients websites not being available, it helps us troubleshoot quicker as we know there is an issue almost as it happens

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more about your experience with the status page feature and better understand how expanding it to support components and additional service types would better fit your needs. If you need simple, effective uptime monitoring without a steep learning curve, Uptime.com is a winner. 🚀

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Not much to complain about, but the pricing can add up if you need a lot of advanced checks. A few more customization options for reporting would also be nice.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us detect downtime before our customers do, minimizing disruptions and ensuring a smooth user experience.

 ### 14. Reliable and User-Friendly Website Monitoring Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy G. | Staff Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What I like best about Uptime.com is its simplicity and reliability. The platform makes monitoring effortless with clear dashboards, instant alerts, and strong integrations. It empowers teams to respond quickly, ensures consistent uptime, and builds confidence that websites and services stay available for users.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

high pricing for small teams, occasional slow alerts, and limited mobile app features. The setup can feel complex, maintenance mode is clunky, and reporting lacks customization. Some also note regional probe gaps, billing inflexibility, and minor dashboard frustrations.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

monitoring multiple services

 ### 16. Easy to use, straight forward UI, great support, and low costs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Idan H. | DevOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Working well, user friendly, support is great - respond quickly, our NOC learned this tool with ease, and so we're working with it every day - we use it for https checks, also for transaction checks (Selenium), implementation was easy and well-integrated to our monitoring systems.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

When alert goes down - it takes time to get it back up.
You can set the sensitivity - how many locations should be DOWN before alert is sent.
But if let's say you have set sensitivity to 5 locations, and the check has only 5 locations - at least 4 locations have to get UP before check is getting OK, but in our case, we need at least 1 location to be UP - to get OK.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're aware of problems faster, we can troubleshoot and solve them before getting angry calls from costumers.

Maintaining SLA uptimes and monitoring server.s

 ### 19. Outstanding Value with a Smart Pricing Model

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick K. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Reasonable pricing model makes it standout in a crowd of similar tools with pricing models that won't scale. Good selection of test types and they're generally quite easy to setup.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some UI clunkiness, reordering steps is unintuitive, but these are minor gripes.

 ### 24. The uptime.com terragrunt provider did not feel entirely completed.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Support was awesome. Usually support requests are just closed after some time. But the assigned technical support stayed on the topic and even updated us on beneficial provider changes after months.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The terraform provider v.2.11.1 was basically a mess. Too many bugs, too many issues applying changes. We had to manually delete resources using the uptime.com API to clean up the provider's mess more than once. Features were missing. It in all matters felt not the slightest "ready for production" or thoroughly tested.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

actually, I don't see any benefits in the setup we have now.

the ease of use and implementation, plus it was relatively low cost to start using the software. the ability to monitor multiple types of services has been a huge help to making sure our servers stay running.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

being able to add dependencies would be a big plus. when there is a connectivity outage we get alerts on all our servers at once which uses our sms quota quickly.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it allows us to monitor our servers and services from outside of our network. it gives us a backup to our own internal monitors.

 ### 26. Always Up-to-Date with Timely Alerts

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

 ### 27. Simple and Effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I've used uptime at my last 3 different companies (after trying many competitors). The price is great, it is reliable and covers all my uses for uptime monitoring, notifications, SLA reporting and status pages. The few times I've had to interact with support it has been a positive experience.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The interface can sometimes trip me up a little bit and could use a little modernization.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring site availability, SSL certificate monitoring and public status page.

 ### 28. Explanation on Monthly RUM Requests Used

Rather easy to use, all information in a. dashboard is easily accessible and easy to find.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We check our website with uptime, also we have RUM to check our stats and find areas for improvement.

 ### 29. So far we have been pretty happy with uptime

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It has a Terraform provider

We moved over form pingdom because they did not have a Terraform provider

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Not all features are support in their Terraform provider

It is hard to search for docs and status page about uptime because "uptime" is a very common term. Especially when searching for your status page. Luckily it follows the pretty standard url of status.uptime.com

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to check that our external website are up and that SSL certs are not about to expire

 ### 30. Very flexible and easy to use solution with a broad range of tests available

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan P. | Head of IT Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Very easy to use, able to create all sorts of tests, and each one is intuitive. The test can be configured from multiple locations around the world and a large variety are available. The transaction tests are particularly useful as they enable us to fully test and monitor the performance of a full user journey.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Maintenance mode is a bit of pain to configure, you have to select each monitor and basic things like the end time doesn't automatically default to after the start time.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great tests and good dashboard to communicate updates to customers. The dashboard view for customers which enables us to communicate outage and maintenance updates was the main driver.

 ### 31. Uptime has been a great help in having offsite server checks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony D. | CIO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

being able to have third party performing server uptime and blacklist checks.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

not having a dependency scan. if there is a core outage it sends messages for all servers and uses our monthly quota quickly.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

doing blacklist checks for our mail servers as well as notifying us when internet outages occur. in the latter case, our internal monitor can't alert us.

 ### 32. Easy to use, reliable monitoring system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikos V. | Supervisor of Banking Infrastructure Department., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Easy to use UI. Many options for monitoring our infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

So far we haven't had anything that's causing us any issues.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a monitoring system for our infrastructure, outside the company. So instead of implement an installation of a monitoring system and maintain this system, uptime was the best solution to implement such checks in just a few minutes.

 ### 33. Complete synthetic monitoring tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We heavily utilize the private locations (our main sites run internally), and it works perfectly. Most of our checks are basic, but we also use TCP, SSL, and other complex checks with easy configuration.
Private Location implementation is really easy.
It integrates seamlessly with other tools, like PagerDuty and Slack.
The Status Page configuration, look and feel, and notifications settings are great!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

It would be nice to automate incident creation on failed alerts without using the API.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to be the first to be alerted when our sites are having performance issues or become unresponsive.

 ### 34. Hammer UpTime

Very intuitive and friendly interface to get up and running, sensible defaults, good pricing, very responsive support staff and listening to feature requests and feedback.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

In the new Checks design the tags are not visible all at the same time. You have to click "+3 more" to see the rest of the tags (at the very least you should show it on hover). Very inconvenient if you filter for a number of checks and quickly want to compare tags.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very diverse portfolio of applications, services, stakeholders and alerting needs. Uptime covers all with ease and extending into different apps with Integrations is breeze.
I'm excited to see where it is going with the On-Call/Incident Mgmt module, after Opsgenie was announced to be shut down.

**Reviewed by:** Tim D. | Founder & Lead Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

In our line of business, we work with numerous SaaS sales teams, both for our clients and ourselves. It’s rare to encounter such an engaged leader (in the sales process) who genuinely takes the time to listen to customers one-on-one. A good sign.

We've been with Uptime.com for around six months now, and that level of commitment is really evident in the product; our experience is one of a robust and reliable platform very capable of monitoring our entire estate (including now third-parties).

Lots of SaaS products have roadmaps and feedback tools but often it feels like lip service. Not the case here. You actually feel like using those mechanisms because they are suitably responded to and moreover actioned where appropriate.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

When we signed up there were a couple of items missing from our list (IRM/On-Call). Okay for us because they were in the roadmap and we could wait.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Website & API Monitoring, RUM, Status Pages (for internal and client use) plus alerting.

Helps us ensure our online services are reliable, availabile, responsive...enables effective communication with clients during interruptions and what follows, enhanched trust and transparency to the same audience.

It's really simple to use and the support team is extremely responsive.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The costs for advanced alerts can add up. Thankfully, the basic alerts meet our needs.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have strict SLAs on website uptimes and Uptime solves our need for monitoring all of our websites.

 ### 49. Efficient uptime tracking solution for enhanced our user experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zuzanne Z. | Global e-commerce operations lead, International Trade and Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What I find most valuable about Uptime.com is its comprehensive reporting. Having the detailed uptime, downtime and performance trends stats have been very useful in spotting ongoing issues and fixing them before they get out of hand. Having historic data has allowed us to feel more informed and strategic in our decisions, as we are actually able to see what’s going on with our website’s health. As a result, we’ve been able to tackle problems by being proactive instead of reacting.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

One weakness of Uptime.com is that the reporting can sometimes be too detailed for quick checks. It’s great for in depth analysis, but it can be too much noise in just need a quick snapshot of your website’s status. People who enjoy a more simple approach would benefit from reports that are more streamlined or customizable views. By doing this we will be able to deal with the current situation without getting stuck in non relevant data.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Uptime.com we are solving the problem of unexpected website downtime, which is critical to ensuring our customers have a smooth online experience. We can fix things as soon as they go wrong by alerting us immediately when something bad happens. It has cut down the number of times we have to go down and made our website a more reliable place. This has, in return, ensured our customers have less disruptions, hence improving our overall customer satisfaction.

 ### 50. Easy to use, reliable service

It was fast and easy to set up monitoring for 8 sites. Scripted verification allows for checking processes like account login, checkout, etc. to identify issues beyond availability. Dashboards and status pages are easy to configure with SLAs provided for monthly reporting.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I have not experienced any issues after several years of using Uptime.

**Recommendations to others considering Uptime.com:**

After doing extensive research and testing of solutions, Uptime was the only service that ticked all the boxes.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The previous solution was unreliable, which made explaining website SLAs a challenge. I feel that Uptime provides more accurate reporting that identifies specific issues that make issue identification and resolution simple and allows me to communicate more quickly and confidently to my business customers.
