&lt;p&gt;I’d expect one system to save the most time when provision data can flow directly into compliance without another reconciliation cycle. If finance still has to export, re-map, and validate the same tax data before filing, the consolidation hasn’t removed much work. I’d test one entity from provision through return preparation and count the manual handoffs that remain.&lt;/p&gt;
