G. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024 **What do you like best about RamQuest?** RamQuest (RQ) is a title production system (TPS) that is built by title professionals for title professionals. With other vendors, when you try to explain a problem, they do not understand how it impacts business and take very little feedback in their design and features. RQ on the other hand actively asks and engages with customers of all sizes to understand what they need and tries to meet those needs or offer the flexibility to meet those needs. The other big difference is the customer support. No matter how big or small, RQ will work with you and ensure the problem gets solved, no matter how small. And because they get your business, they know how important it is to get it fixed right away. They feel more like a team than a vendor. Bottom line: RQ strikes the perfect balance of being flexible to match your workflow (instead of the software dictating it) while also keeping you compliant. And they offer amazing support. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** Truth be told, the UI for their primary product, Complete Closing Enterprise (CCE), and RamQuest ONE (RQ1) are dated. CCE was the original software they designed and has been improved upon over many interations and is VERY powerful, but it looks dated. However, their new TPS, Horizon, is a SaaS solution that is bringing CCE functiuonality to the modern era, including design. The only downside is that RQ is learning and adjusting to Horizon's development needs just as customers are also using it. They offer great support, but sometimes the new software can be... fickle and buggy. However, they always take that information and get it into fixes as quick as their timeline allows. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** RamQuest is the heart of our business. Everything we do is tied back to it. Without it, it would be a lot of manual processing, spreadsheets, and frustration. ### 2. Whenever there is a problem, they are willing to help. The program is always evolving and getting better with each update. Looking forward to the next evolution of Horizon. Ramquest One has been a great program for us for over 9 years, but Horizon is looking to be even better. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** Not really anything to dislike. Most of the bugs in the past get fixed in the next update. **Recommendations to others considering RamQuest:** It's a great program. One of the best out there. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes my work life easier. The program does so much for you. It interacts with other programs that we use that makes a smooth work flow. ### 3. Seller information - if you have a seller that you use all the time and know the number assigned to that seller that has all the seller information correct - unable to put in that number to bring up that seller - have to go thru all the lists to find each time and when you have multiple ones - you have to find that particular one - that is cumbersome. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Was told they are working on issues with check writing systems. ### 4. Adequate, but dated **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Conor L. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2021 **What do you like best about RamQuest?** Streamlined order entry; fast once you learn how to use. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** Dated user interface; often unintuitive. **Recommendations to others considering RamQuest:** If you are required to use RamQuest by your title insurance administrator, there are certainly worse products out there to have to learn. However, there are definitely better ones as well. SoftPro in particular excels where RQ fails; RQ is difficult to learn due mostly to an unintuitive user interface. Rendering documents is also a chore -- to the point where we only use RQ to generate Settlement Statements and manage receipts and disbursements. As I said, however, RQ is not impossible to learn after you spend some time with it, and does get easier to use after the learning curve. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our firm performs only the most basic of cash closings with title insurance. For this, RQ works adequately -- after a steep learning curve. ### 6. I love that you can leave notes everywhere within the system. It makes tracking things a lot easier. I enjoyed being able to leave notes whenever something was finished. There is not confusion within the company due to this feature. I also enjoyed being able to "check" things off when they were completed. This system provides a 360 way to improve business operations. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** I do not like that sometimes even if you dont click a section, if you scroll over it, the information will change. There is also no "undo" button for most things. There is also sometimes a block on things you can upload into the file scan section in RamQuest due to the fear of protected information being leaked. I think it's a preventative feature which is good, but for documents that do not have protected information, it would be nice to just drag it over with ease. **Recommendations to others considering RamQuest:** Supports all the daily business tasks you would need related to titling. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** RamQuest allows us to provide quick and accurate information to all clients about everything related to their title. With the easy search button, we can find almost instant access to all questions by searching in multiple ways. Some of these ways include searching by lender, file number, loan number, buyer, property address, date of loan, date of processing, and more. ### 7. The Order Entry Screens as well as the newer feature of the very customizable FileScan repository make it very simple to share information company wide with collaborators and other departments. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** I do not like how they CDF screen sometimes lags with data input as well as the inability to input tax proation screens until a closing date is entered. **Recommendations to others considering RamQuest:** Use the provided tutorials and do not hesitate to call customer support with questions. The support team is awesome and super knowledge and don't just do things for you-- they are happy to sit on the call with you and teach you how to fix an issue. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ramquest makes it very easy to collaborate with employees in other office locations or who work from home which is very important in today's world. ### 8. The interface was a little outdated in the version I was using at my Title company. Slight differences in the entry but easy to use once you got used to it. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** The interface seemed like very old windows 98 style. Could be better or my version was older I’m not sure. Sometimes the functionality was limited and I could not change certain things once I had clicked it so that created hurdles and I had to ask my manager to allow me to make the changes. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Date entry was much easier. A HELP menu would be appreciated. **Recommendations to others considering RamQuest:** Consider upgrades when purchasing it, rather than waiting to later. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reports. I remember the process of pulling reports into excel being difficult. It would be nice to have more control over this process. ### 10. Everyone with RQ has been very open to listening to requests and ideas from the users. **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** There are sometimes a lot of keystrokes to complete a task. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are always working with the team to better the overall system and they always address the issues that they can. ### 15. It also lets us scan in each file at the end of each transaction and securely let us go back and review if questions or errors are brought to our attention **What do you dislike about RamQuest?** The updates can be a little frustrated when learning new material, but completely understandable because after every update the ease of Ramquest One is enhanced. **Recommendations to others considering RamQuest:** Take the time to learn the software. Play around with options and different tools, they will benefit you in the long run. **What problems is RamQuest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being detailed and organized. When entering in each new order, it requires you to review your work as well as keep it neatly in it's own folder. It's helped me catch quite a few mistakes. Ramquest One allows you to draw up documents and pulls in all the information onto the document saving us an abundance of time. ### 16.
