When entering dates in any part of the platform, it does not recognize a digit-only entry and you must enter "/" between the two digit date, month and four digit year. Downloaded lease abstracts only include a "Use" for the entire building rather than an individual Tenant Use, which would be more applicable to a Landlord's needs in a multi-tenant building. I love the Cakebot AI in Leasecake. Being able to ask things like 'what does the lease say about external parking lights' or 'what is the address to send notices to,' and 'is this lease fixed rate or fair market value' makes it easy to find and answer any lease questions. Cakebot also performs new lease abstractions and walks through setting up new locations and leases in Leasecake. I appreciate being able to easily update and access my contacts, and I can track my expirations and set up renewal notices, so that we don't miss important lease dates. I think the chat support response should be live and interactive. Currently, on the chat feature I send my question and then get an email notification in the future, could be quickly, but could also be the next day, which makes it hard to answer and respond like a conversation. It is easy to learn and follow. A system that is customizable to your company needs and can store lots of information and files. Abstractions have been very easy and helpful to use for our leases. We also have tried their NNN reconciliation services and have been very helpful and informative. We look forward on trying more of their services in the future as well. I find Leasecake incredibly valuable, especially for managing cash flow and using the CakeBot feature. The cash flow functionality is very useful, as it allows me to have all relevant information consolidated in one platform, which greatly streamlines tracking rents, maintenance costs, and contract conditions for the various spaces we rent. The CakeBot stands out as an essential tool, simplifying the process of accessing and reviewing contract details without the need to manually search through each contract. This feature alone saves me significant time and effort which previously involved reading through multiple documents. Moreover, the initial setup of Leasecake was straightforward and easy; after a brief discussion with the team, I became comfortable using the tool. I find the regional customization of Leasecake limited, particularly with cost per square meter, which is more relevant in Mexico. Additionally, the date formatting doesn't align with our local standards of day, month, and year, and currently, it's not possible to change this setting in the software. What I like the most about leasecake is that the team can have all aspects for management and administration for leases. Going from having the essencial information such as significal dates, landlords information, critical clauses to have a full repository of all the documents relevant to your leases. Also you can manage your rent schedule including rent increases, payables and all the financial stuff needed to succeed.

It has an incorporated IA, Cakebot that is really helpful because it helps to analyse and extract all the information you need without the need to fully read all of your documents, and reports have never been easier as it has incorporated report templates that you can edit and adapt. In my personal experience, as a foreign user, Leasecake still has room for opportunity to adapt to different countries, as it is optimized for US users. It has grown and been developed non stop to improve the experience for foreign users, but adding the Contry code for example in telefone numbers.

The other thing that you can improve is the geolocalization, so you can export the info in other apps for example Google Earth or Google maps or even just to visualize all in one place in a map and not just one point. It would be amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the notification system in Leasecake could use some improvement. It doesn’t effectively alert me when a lease is about to expire, which is crucial information. This system has everything an organization would need when it comes to leases. Everything from ASC 842 calculation to document storage. Their AI bot is great to read documents have them uploaded to each of your locations. Leasecake has been fantastic experience from sales, implementation, training, and usability. The account executive, implementation executive, and CEO have all spoken to me several times throughout the process to ensure things were running smoothly. We use not only the lease management tool but also the accounting and risk analysis module while starting to implement the contracts portion as well. I haven’t yet found any. The onboarding process was painful, but not due to any issues with Leasecake; they just revealed that, despite attorney involvement in many acquisitions, we were missing numerous amendments to multiple leases, and it took a lot of research to acquire them all.
