What I like best about PDQ Connect is the simplicity and visibility it provides. The real-time device overview and clean interface make it easy to quickly understand the health and status of endpoints without digging through multiple tools. It reduces guesswork and allows me to act quickly when something needs attention.

What is the most helpful about PDQ Connect?
The most helpful aspect of PDQ Connect is the ability to manage and deploy updates remotely with minimal user disruption. Being able to push software, run scripts, and troubleshoot systems without needing VPN connectivity or interrupting staff productivity has significantly improved response time and support efficiency.

What are the upsides of using PDQ Connect?

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

The inventory, reporting, and scanning feature of PDQ work very well. You can get detailed information on literally anything on your connected machines. The Scanner function lets you pull in specific data that is relevant to you, and catalog that for your whole organization. You can then run reports off of the data you collect, specifying the exact info your want in the output. In my experience, this reporting and inventory function is better than similar products like SCCM and Intune. Those platforms make inventory and reporting more difficult than it should be.

Deploy software from PDQ is very fast as well compared to other MDM and RMM solutions.

The interface of PDQ is very simple and clean. It doesn't take long to figure out what the categories do and how the system works.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

Groups and collections are really just saved filters. This sometimes makes it hard to configure a collection of machines dynamically.

You can't deploy to the All machines group that exists in PDQ. This is strange since it should just be a usable group.

Some of the built in PDQ apps and groups do not work correctly. They will throw errors when trying to deploy software, but if you make the group yourself it works fine. The problem is that it will not stay up to date in the same way as the predefined group normally would.

You seemingly can't adjust scanner times, reporting times, or automations frequency.

Documentation and support is a bit unprofessional at times.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pushing software and applications remotely to our business's machines. This simplifies and automates IT process's to create a standardized Windows platform for users. This free's IT up to focus on other tasks and objectives by taking repetitive tasks and automating them for the business.

The pre-created PDQ software also keeps itself up to date, alleviating security risks.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

PDQ Connect provides us with a great oversight of our Estate, covering lots of different areas; Online Availability, Vulnerability reports and remediation, as well as being able to remotely deploy Software with ease.

It deploys very easily from MS InTune, meaning we do not have to manually deploy it or have an on-prem push for the software, so onboarding new devices is super easy. 

The Platform itself is easy to use, easy on the eye and very intuitive.

The Price Point is just right for all of the features that are available, especially for the speed of setup, deployment and ongoing management of our estate.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about PDQ Connect. It's a fabulous tool!

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PDQ helps us to manage our remote software updates to keep our devices compliant. It performs wonderfully when a machine is online, but it also queues deployments for the next time the device is online, which means we don't have to chase users to turn their devices on immediately. We know it's taken care of the next time they're online.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

What I like most about PDQ Connect is how flexible it is. It lets our team write scripts to cover functions that aren’t built in, which adds a lot of value for us. Scanning across all of our machines has been smooth, and I also like that I can use PowerShell to scan devices as well. The tier we chose includes built-in vulnerability management, and it can automatically remediate issues when patches are available. On top of that, the initial setup with PDQ Connect was very easy, which is a definite plus.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

There is not a lot that we dislike our biggest issue right now is our security software will sometimes block deployment of their remote support package and it won’t catch up and try again for about an hour sometimes.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PDQ Connect allows us to keep our devices up to date, even when they're out in the field and not connected to our network.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

Cloud Management gives me visibility into all my endpoints, whether or not they’re connected to the network.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

The agent still needs refinement. At times, it becomes inactive, and only a system restart or a manual service restart fixes the issue. The main problem is that when the agent is offline, I lose control over the endpoint. Another issue for me is that if I clean up agents that have been inactive for a specified period and the endpoint later comes back online, I have to reinstall the agent. With some of my other management tools, like HCL BigFix, I can still see an endpoint come online even if it has been cleaned up, whether that cleanup was deliberate or accidental. Another thing is that the remote assistance tool is very slow, almost unusable at times.

Management of endpoints not physically connected to the office network.

What I appreciate most about PDQ is how it allows me to remotely manage devices, making deployments straightforward and enabling me to access a device remotely with just a single click. Additionally, I find it very useful that I can deploy packages for targeted fixes using specific commands.

PDQ cannot connect to devices in our organization without a VPN, which is a significant drawback for daily operations. I'm not sure if this is an intentional limitation, but it does make working with devices more challenging. Additionally, the lack of a desktop version is disappointing, as having a dedicated app would have been very useful.

This tool allows me to connect to devices with ease, which is essential for my job. It speeds up my workflow and helps me resolve user issues quickly, thanks to the built-in deploy feature. ne limitation of PDQ Connect is its reduced flexibility around command execution. Commands cannot be resent or requeued directly from the command line, which can slow troubleshooting and remediation workflows. In addition, commands cannot be executed in the context of the currently logged-in user, limiting use cases that require user-level permissions or interaction. These constraints can make certain administrative tasks less efficient compared to more traditional endpoint management tools.

The overall ease of use and cost-effectiveness, along with the strong community and customer engagement from the PDQ team, have been impressive. For our small operations team, it has significantly simplified the process of onboarding systems across different domains and varying connectivity. The agent performs reliably, remaining both stable and lightweight. Whenever we've needed assistance, support has been attentive and genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

Patching via powershell scripts; we have issues sometimes with partially installed patches and servers that have not rebooted.  I'd prefer a little more direct control via the agent to patch, validate, reboot, etc.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily it's fast to deploy and cuts across all the issues we face with aquisitions bringing us systems in various states of OS versions, domain membership, connectivity, and such.  The PDQ agent is easy to install and hasn't caused us any issues with crashing or consuming excessive system resources.  The Remote support tool also works generally well with multiple monitors or UAC prompts and similar scenarios that can be tricky sometimes with remote support.  With MacOS support added, we can ditch a relatively expensive tool subscription we've kept just for Mac support.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

I find the pre-installed software packages extremely useful for deploying the latest product versions. Rolling out packages to clients is both quick and straightforward. Creating custom packages is also simple, as you can clone existing ones to use as a starting point. The option to run commands directly on client machines, whether through the command line or Powershell, is a feature that sets this solution apart from many other RMM tools. Deploying agents to devices is also very straightforward. The automated package deployment feature is truly a game changer. For example, with the recent wave of critical browser patches, we can automatically deploy updates to clients as soon as they are identified. Additionally, it's possible to stage these deployments to specific groups first for testing, if desired.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

Connect does provide the ability to remote connect to client desktops, but an additional agent needs to be installed on the client and a viewer installed on the admin's PC in order to use that feature.  Most other RMMs that we have used has that capability built in.  The Connect product has much of the same capabilities that their Deploy product has with one downside.  If a package deployment fails, there is not ability in Connect to restart the deployment from the failed step.  This requires going into the package and disable the initial steps that have already been completed and then run the package again.  Not a show stopper, but coming from a D&I environment, it is definitely a function that admins would like to have.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved from the Deploy & Inventory product as many of our managed endpoints are no longer on premise.  Having similar funcitonality to deploy software or patches to endpoints no matter where they are, has been a godsend.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

We were searching for a straightforward systems administration tool that would help minimize or eliminate user interruptions, allowing us to perform administrative tasks like patching and software deployments in the background. With PDQ Connect, we achieved exactly that. The productivity of our operations team increased significantly, and every engineer appreciates the tool for its capabilities, as well as its ease of use and simplicity. Connect is heavily used by all of my team members frequently.

The navigation has some glitches and could use improvements. Whenever I move between different views or try to go back and forth within sections, I have to return to the main menu and navigate all the way down to the system and its details sections each time. customer support chat built-in would be a better improvement

As mentioned earlier, one of the main benefits is the reduction of user interruptions. Additionally, the ease with which apps can be deployed stands out as a significant advantage.

The best part about PDQ Connect is the versatility of the tools available and how easy they are to access. Prior to picking up this software there were certain tasks that would require 3 different websites/pieces of software, but now they live under one roof.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

So far the biggest thing we have been anticipating is a more well rounded MacOS integration, though I know it is in the works. The biggest issue we ran into was when we had to reinstall an updated version of the remote management console on all our machines, but PDQ did everything to make that as seamless as possible.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connect provides us with a nearly comprehensive overview of all our endpoints in a single place, and it also enables us to automate software distribution and updates. Previously, we relied on a manual process for software updates, but now the process is almost completely hands-off. This shift has freed up our time, allowing us to dedicate more attention to other areas of our department that previously received less focus.

Since I am new to the team, I have been participating in some of the available remote web seminars to learn more about what the product is capable of. Some team members were not initially aware of the vulnerability management features offered within PDQ and were considering other software options. However, after attending these web sessions, they gained a clearer understanding of the application and its additional functionalities.

For a small team, it's essential to automate as many functions as possible. That's why finding a solution that handles both patch management and vulnerability management is so important. PDQ Connect is extremely easy to use and very intuitive to operate.

With the introduction of multi-tenancy, it has become a particularly strong solution for MSPs, enabling clean separation of customer environments while still maintaining an efficient, centralized management experience.

Being cloud-native, PDQ Connect works independently of VPNs or network location, which is a major advantage in modern remote and hybrid work environments. This allows me to manage customer devices reliably wherever they are.

The real-time inventory provides immediate and accurate visibility into both hardware and software across all managed endpoints, making it easy to assess the current state of customer environments at any time.

The built-in package management - including prebuilt packages and the ability to share packages between tenants (currently in Alpha/Preview) - significantly reduces operational overhead and avoids duplicated work across customers.

On top of that, the vulnerability management capabilities are very powerful, offering clear, actionable insights into outdated or vulnerable software and enabling fast remediation. Altogether, these features make PDQ Connect a highly effective and scalable endpoint management solution for MSPs.

Nothing comes to mind. This is as good as it gets (they make improvements and add features all the time...) and WAY less complicated than other products I've tried.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PDQ Connect solves several key challenges that MSPs face when managing endpoints across multiple customers.

It eliminates the complexity of traditional on-prem or VPN-dependent management by being fully cloud-native, allowing me to manage devices regardless of their location. This significantly reduces connectivity issues and administrative effort in remote and hybrid environments.

By providing real-time inventory, PDQ Connect removes the uncertainty around the actual state of customer devices. I always have up-to-date visibility into installed software and hardware, which improves troubleshooting, planning, and compliance.

The combination of package management, package sharing across tenants, and vulnerability management addresses the operational burden of keeping systems secure and up to date. Instead of maintaining separate workflows per customer, I can standardize deployments, reuse packages, and quickly remediate vulnerabilities across environments.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

Good overview of a certain asset and able to uninstall / install products very easily and quickly. I especially love the vulnernabilities tab, where you could see which products are vulnernable. You can right away apply a fix if it's available in the library and fix it accordingly. The remote desktop feature is quick as well, so you can take over devices and troubleshoot further. The custom made scripts which you can add via CMD or powershell is gold, I was already happy with the previous product (connect & inventory) but since this version always works regardless of the netwerk location, this is the perfect tool so far. I use the product on daily basis. The integration & implementation is fast, we use intune to deploy PDQ connect during build and it gets connected right away. You can then start deploying your default applications.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

You can see the vulnernability is new and still in development. But what I really appreciate is the fact if you contact PDQ with a tip, you can a personal invitation to clarify and share your thoughts and idea's. And you have the feeling people are listening and help make the product beter with the help supplied. This also doesn't stop me from keep getting in touch for reporting issues or submit improvements and ideas.

Application issues can be fixed fast and easily, every update can be send to those devices who need it. You can make groups easily and use formulas to identify that specific application / version to target and just push the button. Making sure there are no hot vulnernabilities, and if there are you can patch them right away. Reporting is also a very good feature for management.

I stumbled across PDQ by chance when looking to replace our previous remote support tool.  I caught PDQ at its infancy and in the last 2 years, saw the product grow.  I like the ability to sweep computers that we join and see what is installed on their machine and do patching fairly easily.  Overall, I am pretty happy with the product.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

Sometimes patching is a little clunky and building scripts to run is a very manual process.  But, as any person in IT, you come to expect it and it's no major adjustment.  Outside of that, there's a few times where the PDQ service doesn't run on computers (or is running, just not reporting) and the person needs to restart their computer for support to work.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think PDQ Connect is a good product - it really allows us to do what we do as an organization to our machines.  It might not be perfect for everyone, but there's a lid for every pot and it's perfect for us.  I can manage any of our machines without issue and apply patches/provide support.  It's truly an amazing tool.

**What do you like best about PDQ Connect?**

We use Intune and PDQ Connect side by side. We use Intune to manage windows patches, some compliance stuff then everything else is done via PDQ Connect. Why? Well Intune is horrendously slow, at everything. Need something done? Maybe in an hour or two.

PDQ Connect on the other hand moves right now, not in a few hours like Intune. We are able to push out patches immediately, run custom powershell scripts to gather data, easily create custom groups based on certain data, generate reports. It auto updates many of our third-party applications. It single handedly the best tool I use day to day.

Between the baked in features (which there are plenty) and the ability to push out custom PowerShell scripts to do the more niche things, it really is only as powerful as your imagination.

It feels like a half-baked RMM. A good example is the patch management functionality. I am not sure if this is offered in a higher subscription, but the only patch-related functionality I have is PSWindowsUpdate powershell scripts. I wish this felt more mature such as a tab in the navigation that leads to a dashboard.

**What problems is PDQ Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem is package management. Being able to script an install or create a package that matches exactly what I would do in-person is incredibly powerful, especially with the new targeting/filtering options offered. The other main problem is getting quick remote support. WE used Quick Assist before and while it worked, it felt clunky. With PDQ Connect, I just make two clicks and I am in. Another thing I like is how stable the platform is. Other SaaS products have downtime and issues, I haven't experienced anything like that with PDQ, which is especially important in the manufacturing industry where things need to work reliably.

I really like how easy it is to manage endpoints and perform remote support with PDQ Connect.  The interface makes it easy to do updates and patching without disrupting the user. It also integrates seamlessly with other tools we use, which makes managing everything from a single platform much more efficient.

The only area I see that could use improvement on is the occasional lag in deploying large updates across multiple machines.  This can slow the workflow down especially when you need to get the updates done quickly across a lot of machines. The other thing is some of the advanced features can be a bit overwhelming for beginners to ultimately understand fully how they work.

PDQ Connect has been a huge help in streamlining IT management tasks.  It solves the problem of having to manually update software on each individual machine. Additionally, remote support is so much easier, allowing us to solve technical problems without disrupting the user.

Because PDQ is agent-based, we are able to monitor all of our devices and their details in real time. This method has turned out to be far more effective for us compared to PDQ Deploy and PDQ Inventory, which we used for many years. PDQ Connect has truly saved us a lot of time and provides us with better control over our device inventory. The report feature has also been extremely useful, especially during our Windows 11 conversion project.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

Some of our users work from home using their personal computers instead of devices provided by our organization. While it would be helpful to use the remote support feature to assist them, we are reluctant to install the agent on their home machines due to privacy concerns. This is one of the main reasons we are hesitant to switch from Teamviewer to PDQ Connect's remote support. I would appreciate a feature similar to Teamviewer, where you can send a session code to the user to initiate a one-time remote session.

As I mentioned previously, PDQ Connect gives us much more control over our device inventory and enables us to view comprehensive details about each device in real time. It was easy to setup and start using, packages are easy to create/manage, using the automations for off hour deployments and to keep apps updated is a game changer.  Their support is awesome, and I love the ability to request future enhancements and new package creations.

I would like to be able to restrict view access for some sections and packages.  For example, we want our service desk technicians to be able to deploy only the apps that are approved apps for our company.  We do not want them to see or have access to deploy anything that we have not approved (internally).
I would also like the ability to go back and review my old tickets.  My apologies if there's a way and I'm missing it.

We use PDQ every day for remote support as well as for managing both laptops and desktops. Adding new systems or removing old ones is very simple—just install PDQ on the new devices and delete outdated ones from device management on the PDQ website.

We've also been using it to push major software updates that would otherwise require us to go and manually input credentials before installing, saving a lot of time.

The program is intuitive enough that I have never needed to contact customer support, so I can't comment on that aspect. However, the fact that I haven't needed any assistance so far is definitely a positive sign!

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

My main concern with this product is the absence of certain logging features during deployments and when executing commands. For instance, if a deployment times out, you are notified of the timeout. However, when you run a command that completes successfully, you only receive a message like "Code 0: Passed," without any additional results or logs from the successful command.

There are not many things that I dislike about PDQ Connect. If I had to say something I would say the pop-up to allow remote connection is not big or flashy enough. If it was a big window in the middle of the screen with flashing edges, it would definitely be easier to see, but also would look more like a scam. Hence why we connect while talking to the customer rather than cold connecting.

I appreciate that it truly lives up to its name—it's impressively fast. We rely on it as a replacement for onboarding workstations after they've been added to our Intune tenant, and we also use it for patching Windows servers. I'm glad they've introduced support for MacOS devices; while I don't expect it to fully replace JAMF, it's helpful to have another option for configuring our endpoints. The scheduling features and the ability to create nested deployment steps are especially valuable to me. These capabilities save me a lot of time and effort, as I no longer need to write complex scripts to ensure tasks run in the precise order I want. I use PDQ almost daily. Customer support has always been quick to answer our tickets we open and they are super helpful when we ask for features to be implemented. They are really hands on with their customers, something you don't see much anymore.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

I wasn't too happy with the certificate expiring for PDQ client communication. I also feel like the UI could use some adjustments. While I do like the grouped deployments page, I find it cumbersome to re-deploy things to hosts without diving into a new page to see what happened, it's extra clicks to make the landing page for deployments easier to read. I think I like the old view better.

The MOST useful thing was the PDQ PowerShell commands. 
You could remotely install software.
Remotely enumerate the logged in user's mapped drives.
Remotely back up their user profile for a files and settings transfer to a new laptop.
The 2nd most useful feature was the ease of software deployments.  I have worked with others like Zen, Microsoft's SCCM and this easily works so much better than those products.

Sometimes the software deployments or commands would take up to an hour to complete.  Not totally sure if it was PDQ's fault but it did happen.  It's more likely that we were migrating to tanium when this happened.  
The PDQ PowerShell Commands are non interactive.  It would be amazing if it could have an actual interactive command line powershell.

Remote management is number one.

I love the package deployment and 1 click vulnerability management. The package deployment is some of the best I have worked with throughout my 6 year career. The vulnerability management capabilities such as remedating with 1 click is something I have seen competitors try and implement and PDQ has that built in to their premium tier.

I don't have many gripes with the software. The only quality of life feature I wish PDQ had was a better background remote access tool. The CMD and Powershell sessions are queue based as the software queues commands instead of starting a session.

We like that PDQ Connect is now agent-based, which makes it work well with our remote workforce or those with laptops they take home. I appreciate the ability to create our own software packages easily with PowerShell scripts. The clean UI makes it easy to find what we're looking for. I value the support channels, such as the Discord server and YouTube channel, providing regular and useful content. The Remote Control feature, based on ISL remote, supports RDS servers and has allowed us to replace LogMeIn Central, saving us money. It's usually quite fast, and I'm confident they'll manage the occasional technical issues or outages.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

Some of the features their previous products - Deploy and Inventory - had are missing from Connect. For example: the PowerShell scanner for adding arbitrary data to asset tracking part of Connect. They have many of the missing features on their development roadmap, however. It's usually quite fast, but they do have relatively frequent technical issues or outages - growing pains I'm confident they'll get a handle on.

I've been a PDQ user for many years.  I've used Deploy and Inventory for a long time and decided that I couldn't have the reliance on VPN anymore.  We decided to use D&I to "train it's replacement" and push out the Connect client.  The roadmap is pushing Connect towards feature parity with D&I.  Connect works really well.  Tasks executed in Connect are so much more expeditious than InTune.  I love the PDQ Discord.  The regulars there (like Marcel) are always very helpful.

The PDQ remote agent works well and may save us money by replacing other remote access tools.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

My only complaints about Connect are the features that are in Deploy and Inventory but missing in Connect.  The features that matter most are on the roadmap and I look forward to them being implemented.  They are bringing out new features regularly.

We a lot of industry certifications.  These all require a solid patch management.  PDQ gives me a level of confidence (that is backed up by the vulnerability reports,) that our Windows machines are going to be compliant.

I really like how easy it is to set up and maintain deployments, keep software up to date and to get a full and whole picture of our company infrastructure. PDQ Connect makes it easy to optimise the way that we deploy software to our end users and takes out an extra step of having to contact the user to perform a remote session. Instead, we're able to deploy software silently to the end user's machine which really takes the hassle out of software deployment.

In the past, I have sometimes found it difficult making sure that the correct service account is used for each deployment. Once it's set up it's great but that's something I've struggled with in the past.

I use PDQ Connect for app management on Windows PCs, remote commands, and remote control. It effectively updates apps that need updates, whether they're managed apps or custom apps, and provides remote assistance when needed. It helps with day-to-day tasks, and I really appreciate the deployment details post-successful or failure, as well as the ability to uninstall software from the same page and the custom package options. These features serve well as a day-to-day enabler. The switch from PDQ Deploy/Inventory to PDQ Connect was motivated by its cloud-based nature, which means it doesn't need to be on the same network, and the initial setup using Intune was very easy.

Sometimes when we build the app in Intune to deploy, it scrapes the details to enroll to our PDQ Connect tenant. Only happened to one package/msi build.

I like that PDQ Connect includes remote access so we don't have to buy another product just for that. It's also great for deploying and inventorying assets that aren't on our local network. The fact that it can do what PDQ Deploy does locally is a huge plus. Setting it up was extremely easy; I just had to install the client on the PC, and all functionality was ready, which saves me a lot of time day to day.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

The layout of packages and deployments is different than PDQ Deploy, so the setup can be a little bit different. The inventory is also a bit different and can require a bit more research to get the results we want. It would be a nice feature if we could import our local PDQ Deploy and Inventory searches or deployments to Connect.

I like PDQ Connect the most because it lets me manage and update all my Windows devices from anywhere through the cloud, without needing a VPN or on-prem network. Everything works smoothly with the built-in agent, remote desktop, and vulnerability management features. The initial setup was very easy because it's cloud-based, and we just install a small agent on the Windows devices. PDQ Connect makes remote device management easy with simple software deployment, clean inventory, and built-in vulnerability management, all without needing servers or a VPN.

PDQ Connect is great, but it could improve by adding macOS support, reducing feature gaps vs the on-prem version, offering more tools, supporting air-gapped networks, and making device discovery more complete. Fixing the feature gaps—like missing advanced package steps, admin tools, macOS support, device visibility, offline support, and email alerts—would make PDQ Connect a complete, more powerful, all-in-one remote management solution.

Creating custom update automations is easy to set up and makes the whole process smoother. I also love using the remote desktop agent alongside PDQ Connect.

Custom variables could use more work. I would also like to see the ability to add custom console log messages to packages. When I build a package with a lot of steps, it would be nice to be able to add messages that get shown live on the device record when the deployment is running. It would also be nice to see the log results of a deployment after it runs.

I like how simple yet powerful PDQ Connect is. It has solved the problem of needing users who are remote to be on the VPN for me to help them troubleshoot issues. It also saves me time when deploying software. The cloud remote desktop and having PDQ Inventory and Deploy integrated into one dashboard are reasons we switched to PDQ Connect.

I had trouble trying to run a command on a bunch of manually selected computers. You can't just 'right click' and run a remote command; you have to first create a deployment package, then select the computers, deploy the package, and then delete the package. I wish there were more options like we have on PDQ Inventory.

PDQ Connect allows flexibility in our environment because it's cloud-based, easy to use, and agent-based. As our fleet of devices became more mobile, it became clear that we needed a software solution that wasn't tied to our on-prem network. PDQ Connect allows use to easily support devices off site each and every day. Onboarding new technology support specialists is also a breeze due to the clean GUI.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

It's possible that PDQ Connect could be costly for some larger companies, but at our smaller size, the price is right. We are excited for the Mac OS developments that they are working on, just haven't seen them work quite yet.

PDQ Connect is our remote support, asset inventory, and patch management tool. Having all of these tools in one place is a huge benefit. Also, being able to automate our patch management with PDQ Connect has been a huge time saver.

I like the built-in packages in PDQ Connect because they are very convenient. The remote support software built-in also stands out for me since it means we don't need additional software.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

I think the remote management remoting into machines could be improved and streamlined. It seems a little clunky and it's not as good as some of their competitors. And I also think maybe better integrations with Azure, Intune, and stuff like that could be beneficial. The main hurdle during setup was just installing it on everything and then the dot net requirement. It would have been easier if that was built into the package instead of having to require it separately. Installing it itself tries to, but it never succeeded, which was always weird.

The ability to touch systems without relying on the user to be connected to our network. The web interface is smooth and simple to navigate. I was able to custom packages in a matter of minutes to start deploying them. I use it everyday, all day. The remote desktop component means I can disable Microsoft RDP and still touch my machines.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

The lack of information when a package fails is a little hard to work with. I'd like to see if that can be expanded into more than a Taskxxxxxx failed message.

I truly appreciate not having to maintain another onsite server running a complex program like SCCM. PDQ is much more straightforward and simply gets the job done. I’m impressed by how quickly updates and software packages are delivered to endpoints—usually within seconds instead of hours. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Most importantly, whenever I have a question, the support team has been very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?**

My main concern with PDQ is more of a feature request than a problem. When I remote into a computer, I would prefer if the end user did not have the ability to abruptly terminate the connection.
