Effortlessly integrates with SCCM, streamlining the patching process for numerous third-party applications without requiring additional configuration. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, featuring pre-populated silent update packages that can be deployed alongside Windows updates. Customer support is exceptional—responsive and proactive in resolving any issues. I rely on it monthly to efficiently deliver third-party updates across our environment.

I have been using for past 2 years and have not came across anything that I could say if I did not like about it.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The biggest win is how effortlessly it integrates with Microsoft Intune to automate third-party application updates. The catalog is extensive, and the ability to silently deploy and update apps without user disruption has saved us a ton of time. I also really value the level of customization — things like pre/post-scripts, custom install options, and the ability to exclude specific apps from auto-updates make it highly flexible for different environments. Plus, the support team is responsive and proactive, which really sets them apart.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

While the new SaaS platform is a great step forward — especially for cloud-native environments — it still lacks some of the key features available in the on-prem Publisher app. As a result, I often find myself jumping between both platforms to get the full picture, which adds unnecessary overhead. The biggest gap for me is the lack of detailed reporting in the SaaS console, and I'd also love to see bulk edit capabilities for deployments to save time when managing large app lists. These are quality-of-life features that would really elevate the platform.

We use Patch My PC to automate third-party application updates and ensure our environment stays patched and vulnerability-free. It helps maintain compliance with security standards and significantly reduces manual effort in keeping apps up to date across our fleet.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Patch my PC is a great addon to Microsoft SCCM and Intune. I am currently only using it for Advanced Insights and third-party patching with SCCM. Advanced insights are great to get additional details on device warranty, battery and disk health, and browser plugins. 
PMPC has a large library of third-party products it patches, and their integration is simple and just works. As an IT Admin I am looking for products that work and have little overhead for everyday maintenance. PMPC solves my problem with third party patching and doesn't require any additional overhead. Their software integrated greatly with SCCM and its infrastructure to roll out patches. You can simply create ADRs and deploy exactly how you deploy Windows updates. Additionally, their solution is more cost effective over other providers.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I am a new customer and so far I haven't found a dislike. Their customer care program and engineering teams are great to work with. Something I would like to see would be additional consulting opportunities for products SCCM. I migrated our current SCCM infrastructure to an updated SCCM environment to get it current on software and OS versions. It would have been nice if Patch My PC had pro-services for that. However, it is hard to fault someone for services they do not offer.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC solves our need to patch third party applications. They have a vast library of applications they patch. Their integration with Microsoft SCCM makes it simple to patch third party applications.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Creating and deploying apps is now a breeze for our small IT Team. Most of the apps we use are already pre-packaged and the self updating of apps like Chrome make management and security much easier. Packaging new apps with scripts or additional file requirements is incredibly easy on the web interface!

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

System is running great for us, only addition requested was to be able to deploy the same app in different languages from the web interface (We have several European offices). Support explained this is in the works and we can currently carry this out from the Client app but would like to see this in the Web interface. Otherwise PMPC is a fantastic tool!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating tasks such as self updating of apps like Google Chrome and Adobe Acrobat which have frequent security updates has made our life much easier. The easy integration with our current Intune system and groups as well as visibility of what apps are installed in our environment really saves us a lot of time and hassle.

We obviously would like to have the entire internet offered in the catalogue but we know it's impossible. The current catalog in place is a good starting point, so far nothing negative to say since we just started integrating the solution.

It was incredibly easy to set up and some of the best and easiest documentation of any software I've tried of this size. Everything from installing to setting up ADR and deployment in SCCM is very smooth. Very positive vibes and helpful people from PMPC helping out when needed.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The scan function to see what systems and programs our environment have installed would have been amazing if it also showed systems / programs installed that isn't already part of PMPC.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CVE-flags, patch management and helping us identify same software with different versions or builds so we can send out reinstallation packages so everyones using the same version and build of a program (like x64 instead of some using x32).

I wish there was a way to create different version of packages, with different commands/flags.

Buy it! Don't go with manage engine lol.

Updating out of date applications both installed on end user's machines, and applications installed on new machines via OSD.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

We signed up for the Enterprise Plus for the integration with Intune. It has been one of the easiest deployments that I have done.  I was able to set it up my self and get it start in about 5 minutes.  Once my apps were populated in the portal I was able to start deploying updates within minutes. I was able to significant reduce our Global Risk score in nucleus by deploying 3rd patches that our MSP was struggling to get updated.  I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a simple 3rd party patch solution.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I would like the reporting to be better in Patch my Pc. I would like to see the succee and failures in the Patch My Pc portal without having to go to Intune. On the Discovery tab it will show the number of clients that need the update but not show me the client names.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch my PC was able to help us increase our ability to do 3rd party Patching.  I had also requested an app be added to there catalog and it was done within days of me putting in the request.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Their solution offers automatic publishing (we find running daily is fine for most cases) of 3rd party (aka Non-Microsoft) software releases for Intune and SCCM/MECM deployment; note that MS Software like Visual C++ runtimes, etc. are also included though. It is extensible to where you can also include your own customizations, and these customizations are carried forward each time as new releases get published. We are all being asked to do more with less, and as a small team it has been great to offload some of the more frequent and tedious updates to PatchMyPC.
Their support is timely, and they offer environment reviews and assistance getting everything set up and integrated into your software distribution system.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The publisher only syncs daily (though you can increase this using the scheduler). Some applications where downloads are gated or behind a paywall (Oracle Java, VPN solutions for example) require manual download.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automate publishing of frequently updated applications - reducing tedium and user error

Patch My PC is a great product at a good price.  It saves me time by automatically handling software updates, and this lets me sleep better at night knowing that Chrome is constantly up-to-date.

Customer service is helpful.  I have no complaints there.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The desktop version is a little clunky, but that doesn't bother me as I like the old school feel.  However, it seems that they're working on a web version which might be a bit easier to use.

I do wish that Patch My PC had more features.  It'd be killer if the software also handled Windows Updates and even got into endpoint management.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC makes it simple to keep the software we deploy patched and updated.  It takes human error--me--out of the equation.  :)

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The catalogue of apps available with Patch My PC is incredible handling most general apps our company uses. Adding custom apps with a silent install parameters is also extremely intuitive which speeds up the available apps in our Company Portal and Intune. The PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit also helps with one-off applications making it easier to add miscellaneous apps without needing to test for every single available error code and templates deployments for more troublesome apps. Customer Support is speedy where we get support faster than our MSP would assist in the past.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I really wish Patch My PC allowed for non-silent installations. Yes, the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit is available and it works well but I wish I could just get an installer to run and allow the end user to go though the setup wizard of a given app through Patch My PC. I understand it is in development and hope to see it soon.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

App deployment by itself could be an entire person's job. Patch My PC makes it so we do not spend days working on packaging and testing different deployments before making them accessible company wide in Intune. Especially with how often some apps are updated, this makes creating new apps and maintaining current apps easier.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Whats not to love about PatchMyPC?  Its price-point is very attractive, especially for the value it delivers. 
The platform allows you to deploy many popular applications to Intune, which takes away the massive burden of application packaging and management for your Autopilot deployment.
On top of that, you also get your third party patching under the same solution. 
The platform is very easy to implement, and every 'issue' or feature that I thought didnt exist, I was assured by the technical pre-sales staff, as well as sales staff that it does. 
I am happy to report that they were true to their word, and our deployment has done swimmingly.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

There are some things that I would consider 'Basic' that are missing from the cloud offering. That said, PMPC has a robust community forum where ideas can be suggested and voted on. This allows them to iterate quickly, and add new features that the user base requests.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Third party patching for compliance, as well as custom installs, alongside the already huge catalog - this makes Autopilot deployments a breeze, letting you focus on the configuration and compliance profiles rather than application packaging.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

From the first contact with PMPC, to setting up the proof of concept, to going live with the system customer support has been second to none.  This was so easy to integrate into our current End User management systems.  We are migrating from SCCM to Intune cloud only devices, PMPC allows us to support both environments while we transition over.  

There's a wealth of documentation available on the site, accompanying YouTube videos and support readily available to answer any question you may have.  PMPC was already easy to use, but the development of the cloud portal makes packaging applications so easy, a few clicks and your application is being created.  

We use PMPC daily for patching and application packaging. Customer voice allows you to submit new ideas or up vote features you want to see implemented.  It's an incredible offering as is and it's only getting better!

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

There's not much to dislike about PMPC, there isn't feature parity when using the cloud portal compared to the publisher, but this is being actively developed and will be the same over time.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PMPC is helping to streamline the creation of application packages.  Third party patch management allows us to keep on top of those applications being flagged as vulnerable from our security tools.

The intune integration with Patch my pc and the ability to use either the app or directly from the web portal make this such an easy app to use. In the grand scheme of things we are a small user of the supported apps however the ability to get up and running on day 1 or the option to have guided setup meant we were up and running almost immediately. We already have a small subset of apps automatically deploying at each update such is our confidence in the way Patch My PC package the apps. 

We also know that if we have any issues their customer service team are there to support.

we have moved from another product that didn't provide the feature set we required. As a business we used the demo and trial to confirm this was the right product for us. We have seen savings almost from day 1 with the reduction in time I need to spend packaging apps within our tenent.

Their massive library of supported 3rd party softwares allows us to automate building of deployment packages and update packages for both on prem and cloud managed computers with ease. It is easy to implement and once set up requires very little regular interaction. Customer support has been great too.

If using for software packaging and updates in Intune, it can take some getting used to updating group assignments within the publishing service instead of in Intune

We used to spend excessive amounts of time building app packages to deploy and update softwares in SCCM and Intune but with Patch My PC's automation of these tasks, this timesink has been reduced to something that happens in the background while we focus on other projects.

The system saves immensely. Be it time, money, or labor. Through appropriate automation and patch rings, errors can be detected more quickly and corresponding distributions can be paused within seconds.

Additionally, extremely interesting is the reporting function, which I was already able to see in a live demo.

Clear recommendation.

There are some programs that should not be patched without further consideration, therefore I recommend keeping the circle of administrators in the system as small as possible.

Packaging and especially testing takes a lot of time. Both are a breeze with PMPC.

Patch My PC has been very helpful in reducing the amount of time I have to use patching various parts of my systems. With how many awesome features it has, and how easy it is to set up and use, it makes my job that much simpler. Integrating it into my current environment was very simple and I use it on a weekly, if not daily, basis. If there was any issue with it, customer support has been there to help with quick responses.

The only thing I dislike most about it would be that it can't patch every program I need.

Simple to use, very quick to setup! Has far more features than I need, and can integrate with our MDM solution at the click of a button. Don't have to check the software much at all as it just does what it needs, and should we have any issues then PMPC support has been absolutely amazing at helping us with anything we need.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

If I have to pick something, I guess the UI is outdated but that is a very very minor issue as I appreciate the simplicity.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Out of date software on endpoints that don't check in very often. The organisation has to adhere to strict policies and PMPC makes it much easier to keep things up to date rather than having to reach out to individuals manually.

I recently implemented PatchMyPC Cloud with Intune in my org. It was extremely easy to get setup and working. During the POC we were able to setup multiple ThirdParty App upgrade deployments and solve many vulnerabilities by updating third party applications. Once the connection to Intune was made, we were up and running. Deploying apps from PatchMyPC catalog made this stress free. Susan with Customer support was an excellent resource in assisting Bottomline. Melissa from tech support is outstanding for supporting Bottomline while I was first learning to use the software.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

More Reporting functionallity please. The roadmap is a bit confusing.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security vulnerabilities get reported every day and PatchMyPc will help in keeping my third party apps up-to-date. Which fixes most vulernabilities.

We started our partnership with PMP with the onprem version, hosted on a vm, from our initial engagement, to their high quality customer service, it was one of the easiest implementations we went over, they not only stick to what they needed to show us, but also, went the extra mile to teach us what best practices and little tricks we could do, to streamline our deployments.
When the time to move to the Cloud arrived, once again, I was able to schedule time with their engineers and even though at the moment there's no automatic transfering of configuration between onprem to cloud, it was one of the easiest and intuitive tasks I had to do, I was able to complete the standing up and initial configuration of our cloud instance in a couple of days.
I'm always impressed by the quality of product PMP deploys, having worked in this industry for many years, you can see this was developed by people that worked in the same line we do and understand our needs, without worrying on unnecesary features.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

At this moment, I believe I heard is in development already, but the automatic transfer of current apps in on prem to cloud would be a game changer.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can automates my mandatory apps installation and updates, but also the distinction comes here, on the detection of currently unmaged apps, give me visibility of what is being installed on my endpoints and keep them updated.

I have love using Patch My PC, the product is great! I would highly recommend Patch My PC to anyone. It has saved me so much time allowing me not to have to manually package common apps. I recently got into their cloud solution and I am very impressed! It is a very clean and easy to use UI. Another great plus to the company is the people. I have interacted with the customer support on multiple occasions and they are always very quick to respond, friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I don't have any complaints really, only complaint would be I wish they had more apps and especially the full autodesk Installs, currently they only have the updates for Autodesk products. That being said even just having the updates is very helpful.

Patch My PC is used to Patch many common apps used by the company always ensureing that they are up to date.

It handles hundreds of apps, far more than our old solution.  Many apps we never considered automating were just sitting their on the list waiting for us to check the box.  There are also some nice bonus features like handling of desktop shortcuts, disabling auto-updates.  It mostly runs on autopilot now that it's setup, though we still go in to add new apps when requested by a customer if they're available.  It can also handle creating App installers, not just updates.

The interface is a little old fashioned but fine.  It's hard to complain considering what our old process was.

Made a ton of manual work (deploying apps, and some manual patches) automated.

What I really like about Patch My PC is how easy and fast it makes keeping our software up to date. The interface is simple, and with just one click we can update dozens of apps without having to visit individual websites. It saves us time and gives us peace of mind knowing everything is secure and current.

One downside is that not every program is supported—some less common apps still need to be updated manually. But overall, it's a great tool that we use regularly.

We like the ability to download an application that is not in the PMPC catalog and as a part of the synchronization, it will create the package for the one-off app we have downloaded. This allows us to cover all our bases with regard to addressing vulnerabilities.

Only one user can be in the application at a time. 
Reporting is not built into the application and has to be setup manually. There is currently no reporting for the Intune deployments from PMPC.

We are able to address vulnerabilities we find in software installed on our systems immediately.

Creating packages with Intune and updating packages can take a lot of time. With Patch My PC its super easy to do and saves a lot of time. Most of the applications we use are available in the catalog. And the pricing is good.

No real dislikes. Maybe the need of a on-prem machine, but we are early users of the Cloud version of Patch My PC and that works great.

Its a very easy to use platform and syncs perfectly with Intune which is what we use for deployments. This gives us a user friendly UI and a great team of support. It was literally a 2 click setup.

Honestly Ive had a great experience with PMPC. They have always responded quickly and has helped with detailed and complicated troubleshooting. Cant really say there's been any issues after using it for a few months.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes creating deployments and patches so much easier than having to pre-package the apps for Intune and hoping that it works. Otherwise, you have to completely repackage the deployment and try again. Luckily this isnt the case with PMPC! You can easily update a package, change settings and deployment rings, etc.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

I like that there are already a large list of software in the database that I can choose from to automatically update client PCs. Programs are categorized neatly and easy to find and check off to update our client PCs. Regular updates are checked based and a silent upgrade is available for MSI packages so it does not require user intervention. We can also specify if a reboot is needed to complete the patch.
We did have a call with a customer support rep that walked us through how to use the program and showed us features that we were not yet aware of. They were very helpful in explaining best practices and what they would recommend for settings.
I like this program because it is well automated and we do not need to go into the interface very often to make changes to make sure it is working.
I like that it was easy to connect our client machines to PatchMyPC and the clients on our network were easy to manage without having error messages or intrusive pop-ups for the user. Automation is the best feature of this software.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I have not had enough experience with PatchMyPC in regards to installing new packages or adding programs that are not already in the database. I would want to make sure that adding msi files works well but I cannot yet comment as all of the programs that we need to have monitored are in the database already. The only thing I can dislike is possibly a basic interface and that it may not be as modernized and pretty as other software, but that is a very minor issue.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PatchMyPC auotmates the process of finding outdated applications and making sure they are updated with the latest install packages to prevent software vulnerabilities and user error. We can focus more of our time automating other parts of our network or providing better customer service to our users rather than spending tedious time updating applications manually.

The software is very well polished. PMPC has thought of everything you may need to adjust settings wise and has an option for configuration. The supported software catalog out of the box was extensive which allows us to utilize PMPC for as many software packages as possible. Set up and use of the product is extremely easy and the agent (Kristee) that assisted with the onboarding truly knew the product, its features, and was able to answer any questions I had without hesitation. I could tell her support knowledge was top notch from the start.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Its not so much a dislike as it pertains to the web SaaS portal and Im aware this was recently implemented. Having that little more fleshed out for adding custom applications will be great. My understanding is that is in the works. Once that is implemented I would really struggle to find anything I "dislike" and i use dislike extremely lightly.

PMPC is solving the problem of how much time manually packaging software into intune takes as well as completely eliminating any manual management of upgrades for packages it manages.

The thing I like best about Patch My PC is the ability to automatically push application updates out as soon as the sync runs, lessening the time it takes to resolve application vulnerabilities.  Support has been great, very quick to respond to questions and provide opportunities to resolve some of the issues we've seen with setting configurations on the applications.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

There are a few issues with the UI that I can see some improvements.  The ability to create custom applications is great, but the listing of the vendors for those applications are in the order they are created and not alphabetical, so it makes  it a little difficult to locate them as our catalog of custom applications grows.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch my PC was able to provide some automation in identifying and automatically create the application packages that get deployed out to our workstations, cutting down the time it took to prepare the updates ourselves either directly in Configuration Manager, Intune, or with PS App Deploy Toolkit.  It has also decreased the time from when a new version was released to when we are ready to deploy it since they've taken the burden of monitoring for application updates.

It is very easy to use. It is without the requirement of an agent running on every endpoint, that is why we've choosen this solution for our proposition as an MSP. We use this as our internal patching solution, as well for our customers. It is very easy to maintain for our customer support team, as well to implement and connect to an Intune environment.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I don't have a lot of dislikes. The current features we are missing, like versioning in the cloud version of Patch My PC are being released in the upcoming months, so that's great!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the best feature is that is can update applications which we don't natively support from our default deployment from Intune. Some consultants have local admin rights so they can install their own software, luke putty, 7zip etc., but patch my pc can update those packages without any problems. Also we use it to patch vulnerabilities which are detected by our EDR solution. The same can be said for our customers.

It gives you an easy-to-manage console/portal where you can easily add, modify, or view applications for installation and/or updating. Adding supported applications for either deployment or updates is just a few clicks. You can also create manual updates for unsupported applications, as needed.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The process of disabling specific updates can be a bit confusing at first, so you definitely need to pay very close attention to what you are selecting, or you may not stop an update from propagating to clients. The on-prem thick client is definitely not as user-friendly as the web portal, but has more features.  Conversely the web portal is very easy to use, but doesn't yet have feature parity with the on-prem thick client.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Third party application patching, primarily. We have not used it in an application deployment capacity thus far, but we will be when we migrate to Windows Update Rings and shift the update load from SCCM to Intune, and from the on-prem thick client to the web portal.

Patch my pc has filled in many gaps in our security compliance needs. We have struggled for years to have a product that can assist us with compliance due to the large task of packaging, testing and deploying. This was an easy purchase.

The only compliant if I have to have one is that it does not support Mac OS yet.... I have heard that is coming.

The peace of mind that our apps are always up to date on our enpoints through Intune is a big plus. The software was very easy to install and the application catalog is very big compared to other solutions we've tested. The few time we had to contact support, they were quick to solve the issue or help us out.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The UI of the publisher is somewhat outdated and takes a bit of time to get used to. From my experience, the SaaS version is still limited and not feature complete.

Automating application updates for better security is crutial and we found that the Intune integration of PatchMyPC was what we were missing.
