**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

Easy to use, so you don't have to be an accountant to process invoices. Features include accruals, approval reminders, notes, and history

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Nothing that I can think of. We've had next to no issues with the app

Time--it's cut my management time to about 1/4 of what it was prior to PIQ.

This is a great software for invoices and invoice approvals and links very well to accounting software such as netsuite

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Plate IQ does not really have many downsides

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

I love once you have submitted the invoices you can check payment status if a vendor does call regarding payment.  You can even send them copy of the check information.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

The only downside I have come across occasionally it will say not mapped even though you have submitted everything correctly.  Maybe let us know what we need to do to avoid this.

I havent ran across anything that we have come across that Plate IQ needs to solve.  I love Plate IQ

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

It rarely crashes or feels like it is performing slowly. It notifies of possible invoice duplicates helping decrease the chance of human error. The ability to upload PDF invoices by sending them as attachments to the corresponding location email.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Whenever I force-approve an invoice, I need to refresh the batch and go into the document to find out Plate IQ removed my approval for no reason I can determine. When I send a PDF to Plate IQ via email from my personal work account, I get a reply in my inbox with a link to the batch that contains such PDF as well as a link to the file itself; however, this email does not occur when the request comes from our general email account. While browsing invoices, the image quality of the PDF that appears on the left side of Plate IQ looks scrambled to the point that the text becomes unreadable. I need to open the PDF in my PDF viewer. I'm working with PDF artificial intelligence readers provided by Microsoft that take a few minutes and sometimes seconds to extract the invoice information, with reasonable accuracy, unlike Plate IQ, which takes 24 hours.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plate IQ produces an integration batch file for Microsoft GP, which is how I load incoming invoices into our accounting system for payment and storage.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

having all of the information in one place including statements, invoices, images, and account details has been life changing for all positions. The amount of work time saved in our stores has created much more opportunity for growth and new tasks.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Payments by check seem to take a very long time to be received. I also wish there was a way to load all invoices into one portal instead of multiple per store.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to process invoices without manually touching them helps our business be able to expand and grow without having to add extra people. We've been able to do the work of 20 people with a team of 5.

I love that invoices can come directly to Plate IQ and get coded automatically. It is such a huge time saver!

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

The AI is off sometime and invoices get mis-coded.

Plate IQ is a huge timesaver. AP is no longer a daunting task. Instead of allocating one day a week to AP I am able to do a little each day and spend my time working on other tasks.

The ease of uploads. I can separate and get everything where it needs to go with almost no effort.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Sometimes the upload speed is too slow for my patience.

This platform is incredibly easy to navigate, sort and get what I need to do done.

This product has allowed my team more time to focus on other tasks. The integral process of vendors being able to directly send invoices to the platform without even involving anyone here is amazing. This allows the communication to flow with quite a bit of ease.

The simplicity of uploading invoices within a scan is ideal for this company as we have many invoices within a week.

I find uploading an invoice with multiple pages cannot be included within the group of single-page invoices. Not really a big dislike.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

The ability to search specific items and prices throughout multiple years is a fantastic feature. Also, the ease of use with intercompany communication is great

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

I will say that sometimes the items that are scanned from invoices aren't exactly properly named. Maybe implement a better scanning process so that there is no confusion

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plate Iq solves the issue with having to search through months of paper invoices for item pricing to include in proper inventories, this feature saves me a lot of time.

It auto codes invoices- you only have to code them once and done. You can change it to manual and auto postings. Hi he vendor set up is really easy and coding ok GL is great

Great tool when working remotely. 

Invoice upload options are straightforward and user-friendly.

Statements are not read correctly. 

If you have multiple locations, statements get sent to the wrong locations, and you cannot modify this.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

The thing I like most about PlateIQ is how easy their app is to upload invoices on the fly. As a general manager I'm always on the move so having a fast and easy to use interface is important

The browser version can be a bit glitchy at times and not as intuitive.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

The at your hand's accessibility to be able to approve and make payments. The ease of viewing invoices and some of the reports that are only a click of a button away.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Creating workarounds to get into our existing accounting system. Although the two are working together to fix this. As well as, the export for descriptions from Plate to our accounting system are generic, and I would like more detail.

The time of pulling invoices and the amount of time it takes for our department heads to review. We struggled a little getting everyone on board, but now we can get payments out faster

As an owner I appreciate the ease of access to information.  It saves my bookkeeper time that was not value add before.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

I would like to see better accuracy from the scanned invoices.  Specifically on vendor order codes.

Very user friendly. Helps cut down the time dealing with invoices to a minimum.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

The best part is that I have all my invoices and statements available in my history to research and look up. I always tend to have to look back to invoices for dates and prices and with everything stored in Plate IQ easily available to look up, I don't have to waste time flipping through papers.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

There really aren't many downsides to using Plate IQ - A very little amount of invoices get read in wrong here and there, and some invoices with vendors that do not have SKU numbers will always be read wrong with Plate IQ.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company uses an inventory system to track invoices, purchases, inventory, returns, etc.. for all departments on property. This system requires you to manually enter every single line items on all invoices (which would take forever!) But with Plate Iq reading ann mapping invoices for me, I export from Plate IQ into this system and it bypasses all that manual work.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

We were never able to get their software to work for our business. We have a lot of manual invoices and no broad line purveyors and EDi feeds are not possible, which was described during our sales calls. We were told that handwritten invoices were not an issue but it is.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Their support team is terrible. No response to flagged issues and no real explanation except that their ticketing system had a glitch. All outliers are pushed to the customers. Took us longer to process invoices using their software than if we just manually keyed them into the accounting system. All of their solutions are workarounds that cost us more time and effort. They lock you into a contract that they refuse to let us out of even when their solution is working for us and their support team doesn't respond to issues. Many other solutions out there that don't lock you into contracts and earn your business every month. Buyer beware, I would not recommend using this software at all. Let the contract terms be a red flag. Also, the way they "estimate" your usage and bill is archaic and unpredictable.

**Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:**

Stay away and find a better solution that doesn't lock you into a service term. None of their competitors do this and it is a huge red flag.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to automate our AP and provide better reporting. After 4 months of trying, we are canceling this effort. They refuse to let us out of our 12-month contract even though their software turns out to be not a fit. The best they've offered is a 20% discount on the remaining contract for doing absolutely nothing. Total waste of time and effort.

How fast and responsive it is. How simple it is to train new team members, how quickly invoices are processed, and how the admin side makes it simple to build/modify approval rules, codes, etc.

If you are tired of overpriced and clunky older AP tools this is the one to get. They have a "just what you need" approach and you will not regret implementing in your organization.

The ability to find any invoice in one location, the ability to be able to do a financial review by account number and department and search those fields within plate and have it show me the invoices related to those transactions.

The inability to batch download a set of invoices at one time. I like to have copies of each invoice batch that I make and having to go invoice by invoice to download them before I export the file is just silly.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

We've been using PlateIQ for a little over a year now and couldn't be happier with it. Onboarding new users is a breeze, making changes to the system on the fly is a piece of cake, and even adding new properties as we open them is no problem.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

I honestly don't have anything that I dislike about PlateIQ. I think the cost is right where it needs to be, there's no difficulties using any of the day to day aspects of PlateIQ.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a hotel management company and the biggest challenge we had was getting invoices from our hotels in other cities. We were always scanning and emailing them to AP or "muling" the physical copies from the properties to our central office. Now we're able to have each property submit invoices into the software on their own which frees up time for our AP person. Also having the approval process streamlined makes it quicker and easier for us to get payments done.

I don't like it, but I love that I have access to all the past invoices and the means to approve or disapprove when I need to. I also like the ability to use my phone to access my accounts

The system is slow when I go in to pull up pending invoices. My email will let me know I have to take some action on my invoices, but after I log in Plate IQ shows no invoices in the system.

This program will make your job a lot easier after learning how to use it properly. You can access it from work, home, or phone with ease. You will love the program as much as I do.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

I love that PIQ streamlines our accounts payables process across multiple unique locations into a single easy-to-use dashboard. It is the exact solution we've been looking for to ease the administrative workload in our back office and allow us to spend more time focusing on operations and business development. Anytime we need help or clarification on using the PIQ system, Lena from the support team is there with an answer or a resolve to keep us running smoothly. She is excellent!

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

The sales and onboarding team are incredibly knowledgeable about the product but are clearly inundated with other clients/accounts to answer non-confirming questions. If there is an area to improve upon, it's definitely with customer response times. Also, manual checks can take a long time to reach their destination and occasionally are returned to sender despite having the correct mailing address. Tracking checks can cause an immense delay and headache in paying vendors. For some reason, this was rarely the case when we were cutting manual checks prior to using the PIQ Bill Pay system.

If you own multiple businesses and have been wondering how to maintain control over your accounting processes while spending less time at your desk managing the same, say less, PIQ is the answer.

The only 'negative', which really isn't, is that it takes 24 hours to upload invoices. But if you're in a hurry, you can create and upload an invoice in real time, so it's not really an issue!

The speed and accuracy of the invoice processing algorithm, the EDI interface with major food vendors, the flexible ways to upload invoices (document scans, email, website, photos via convenient mobile app), department-level approvals, dashboard insights, easy-to-use integration with our Clubessential ERP, seamless integration with bill payment processing, bill payment optimization (ACH, vCard, and paper checks), and much more.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Really, nothing. I look forward to ERP vendors like Clubessential developing a more highly-coupled interface with Plate IQ and even more suppliers leveraging Plate IQ's EDI capabilities.

Invoice GL coding speed and accuracy, any time / anywhere invoice availability for improved expense research, and an AP process that is 30% - 40% more efficient than before adoption.

Nothing stands out at this time. The support people (via email) seem to be very nice and respond.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Items are not processed precisely how they read on the invoice. They leave off numbers, letters, and dashes that are important in item numbers. Misspelling that causes new items to be created along with whether an item has capital or lowers case letters or not. You can tell if two people are doing one invoice and exactly where one stops and the other starts. Inconsistancy in the processing comes a lot from misspelling. This is much more time consuming than we were lead to believe.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

The process of invoice automation, statement checker, and multiple ways to upload invoices is wonderful. We have chefs that do not necessarily need to access and login information for the PlateIQ interface; this makes it easier for almost anyone to be able to upload invoices to PlateIQ. Having the batch email upload is also a great addition. Also, if a PDF contains multiple invoices as separate pages, PlateIQ automatically detects that and separates it as individual invoices. The price discrepancy is also a nice feature, but only if they are linked to the correct items.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Sometimes it does not detect the user scratch marks and/or errors. Having myself check each invoices to make sure there aren't any items that were substituted, removed, or added manually, can be time-consuming over time. Selecting 'all' invoices will only select the first 30, unless you scroll down until the page loads more invoices.

**Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:**

If you have been manually processing invoices, typing out the date, invoice number, totals, etc. this product is for you. The amount of features that are small yet so convenient is fantastic. Batch uploads, merging invoices, and the statement checker feature are great additions.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The number of invoices that we're able to process at a much faster pace. Statement checking is a fantastic feature and saves us time to check individual invoices manually.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

The ability to transfer more of my time on work that matters instead of dealing with the fickle needs of invoices and bills. Easy to use, and clear and understandable instructions. New to payroll, new to finance, trying to manage your own bills in a clear, efficient way. Plate IQ is for you.

More features for families or couples group bills. But also does pretty well with this.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

I like that our time is no longer spent sorting through tons of paperwork and gives us the ability to work more remotely. The ability for all sites to scan in invoices and avoid mailing or faxing back & forth paperwork has saved us a significant amount of time. Also, we use the Bill Pay feature that saves us time cutting paper checks, mailing them and then stapling the remittances to the check stub. Our vendors can now email invoices directly to Plate IQ, removing Accounting from much of the process.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

Setup for our complex company took a significant amount of time and we are still figuring out ways around quirks that make our company difficult for Plate IQ to deal with. The good news is their support team is wonderful and quick to hop on problems.

**Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:**

If you have a complex system with company splits and multiple companies using the same vendors, make sure to ask lots of questions in the initial setup. We did not ask enough questions and are still fixing errors we created in the beginning because we didn't know what masses we were creating.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have reduced paper use significantly and have likely eliminated 1/2 of a human's position. Considering we have a small accounting staff of just 2, this is a savings for the company. During COVID, our company had some massive layoffs. Luckily we had implemented Plate IQ several months before the pandemic hit and we were able to stay on top of Accounts Payable.

**What do you like best about Ottimate?**

Easy of use and Quickbooks integration. No need to pick GL mapping from a designated list, you sync Quickbooks Online with Plate IQ and your entire chart of accounts is available to choose from. It also remembers line items and will automatically code invoices to the correct GL. I also like how Plate IQ will mail the checks to your vendors directly, this cuts out a good amount of admin (unproductive) time.

**What do you dislike about Ottimate?**

I wish that the upload function worked in a more timely fashion. Or at least have the option to overide the upload process. Sometimes I need an invoice to be in faster, but it is stuck in the upload precess. The Upload process can take more than twenty four hours at times and that can be problematic. If the upload process was improved there would be very little to complain about with Plate IQ.

**Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:**

It is a great application that will assist in organizing your accounts payable and streamline the payment process. If you are looking to open up your available time to be productive in other areas of your business, then I would definitely suggest looking to Plate IQ.

**What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accounts Payable organization and bill approvals. The approval hierarchy is fairly ease to set up and implement. The search options make finding the invoice you are searching for very simple. Plate IQ will also prevent anyone from entering duplicate invoices. A warning pops up when there is already a matching invoice number associated with the vendor you are entering an invoice for.
