We can also flag or archive invoices and place them in the needs attention section so that we are able to review the invoices and solve the problem. Plate I.Q has helped make our accounts payable process faster and more efficient, especially because we are able to add everyone to the approval process. ### 3. I don't mind emailing, but when I need something fixed or an answer without the wait, I can call and talk to a person. Even the emails are answered in a timely manner. Not waiting for four weeks to get a simple answer is so helpful. The second best is a restaurant program is rocking the grocery world. Plate IQ I would recommend to any industry for invoice management and streamlining. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** Programs are great at input with little errors, but they don't like to talk to each other all the time. However, in the programs defence, it has been found that some humans change things they should not. Then the programs do get confused by way of cause and not space and character. **Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:** They had more experience, user friendliness, and user friendly with Quickbooks **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have six departments and eight buyers. They all have their own way of reporting invoices. With Plate IQ we are getting a centralizing and standardizing of the invoice reporting to the finance office. Now the few departments that are in the programs see how much time they are saving by a little work up front. ### 5. It more than pays for itself and I get the additional benefit of being able to access .pdf images of the invoices no matter where I am as they are sent to QBO. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** Sometimes it is operationally clunky and has some technical difficulties. Also if you are trying to do your books in a single day a week there is a lag between uploading a doc and having it ready to sync. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time savings. I am able to see my item's pricing trends. I love that the data entry in this software is easy and user friendly. This software allows me to be able to keep up with my inventory without having to use a spreadsheet on Excel. I also like that i can export my data to Quickbooks. I love the interface and i also liked how great the customer service is. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** I dislike the basic design elements. The point of sale integrations are far and few. The point of sale needs an upgrade. This software is only good for certain businesses. It needs more flexibility so that a larger variety of businesses can utilize it. This software was also very expensive. I would like for the pricing to decrease. Plate IQ seems to be higher than other competitors. **Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:** I would recommend using Plate IQ instead of using Excel. It saves time when entering and extracting data. It automatically codes purchases. It integrates other software to create a great business experience for you. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to do stress free data entry. My inventory is large and i needed to make sure that the software would be able to hold all the lists of products that i have in my locations. I also needed graphs that show me the total costs of certain products. I'm also not having to stress about having reports after each month. My accountant can easily go in and grab reports for each day or month. ### 15. Positive Experience with PIQ **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Scott K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020 **What do you like best about Ottimate?** We have had mostly positive experiences with PIQ, it's a very self-explanatory, straight forward platform that has helped our AP process immensely. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** There were some reporting issues that we had in terms of certain views we would have liked to have, perhaps some more tool bar options, etc. Nothing that was too big of a deal or that had us questioning our partnership with PIQ though. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our AP process was very antiquated, and PIQ has brought us along very quickly with automating the entire process and taking the manual aspect out of the process. This has allowed our chef/managers to focus on the food operation aspect and has just freed up their time in general. ### 16. Invoices are automatically sent to the platform, you can customize an approval process within your company, and have your AP team do a quick upload to your accounting software to finalize. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** Your vendors need to be willing to email PDF's or EDI files to the platform. If you work with a lot of mom and pop vendors, you will find yourself having to scan invoices to the platform yourself. It's still easy to do but takes away the efficiency that this product allows you to gain within AP. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** With 18 locations, it's easy to miss paying an invoice if you don't have a good system in place. Plate IQ has solved that issue for us. By the time we get to the end of the month, we don't have to worry about invoices being missed. Another issue we resolved is getting invoices approved by our GM's. Plate IQ has streamlined the entire process for us and has significantly reduced the amount of hours we used to spend emailing invoices to our locations to approve. ### 17.
