I primarily use Loom for asynchronous communication across design, product, and client collaboration workflows. It's especially useful when working on UI/UX reviews, creative direction, or project handoffs. What I like most about Loom is how simple and frictionless the entire experience feels. The interface is very intuitive, so recording, sharing, and accessing videos takes almost no effort, making it easy to integrate into daily workflows. I also like how accessible it becomes with the browser extension, as I can instantly start recording without switching tools. Features like instant share links, filler words removal, silence removal, and automatic cloud saving are very convenient. It makes communication far more visual, clear, and efficient. The setup was straightforward, with almost no learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One area where Loom could improve is video organization and management, especially when handling a large number of recordings across different projects. Finding older videos or maintaining a clean workspace can sometimes feel a bit cluttered. I have also noticed occasional performance issues with the browser extension, particularly during longer recordings or when multiple heavy applications are running. While the overall experience is smooth, having more advanced editing and annotation controls directly within the platform would make it even more useful for detailed design and product feedback workflows.
