## Crowdin Reviews
 ### 1. Simple and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The Crowdin setup for translating a Freshdesk knowledge base is easy. Using an artificial intelligence tool, you can quickly generate new translations. Later, you can check and approve them before publishing them to the public.
The fact that there is only a limit to words and no language is perfect; if you need to increase the number of words, you can do it quickly.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The UI does not consider the status of the sync of the Freshdesk knowledge base. It can be improved, as when you manually sync it, we don't know when the sync is complete unless we refresh the page.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The translation of an entire knowledge base into multiple languages, without having to do it by hand to generate the translation at first.

 ### 2. Great platform, good customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen L. | Curriculum Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The Crowdin team has been very responsive to our nonprofit, helping us set up and use their platform to solve our needs. It is really intuitive and our translators have never had any issues with the platform. Straightforward and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

more options for downloading partial projects

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a global nonprofit and have users around the world. We used Crowdin to translate website course materials (in xliff) and also many documents.

 ### 3. Finally an all-in-one translation and string management solution the whole company uses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix H. | Director eCommerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

- completely web-based
- entering and changing translations
- ai assistance for misspelling and polishing
- always running, never had an issue

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- structure with many projects get a little confusing

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing translations over a portfolio of desktop software, mobile apps and web-services in a unified way.

 ### 4. Great software for translation projects, but interface could be improved

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The amount of features it offers, enabling to execute and plan everything from the platform, from comments to rates/costs calculations

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Especially for new users, it's difficult to find the features one is looking for. Also, the demo offered is not enough as an onboarding to Crowdin.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to share the projects that need localization, as well as implement them automatically into the CMS.

 ### 5. Crowdin Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It was very easy to send messages to multiple people in my Crowdin group. I was also able to easily send invites to members and keep track of who joined. Translation process was smooth, lots of options and easy to understand, and I was able to easily upload files and keep track of progress.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes I had trouble figuring out how to accomplish tasks like bulk downloading translated files or how to find contact information for members. I was able to eventually figure it out, but I felt like it was not too self explanatory.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating many files and having members join and review them as well.

 ### 6. Best part is customer support!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The best thing, is that whenever i struggled with knowing how to set up my project, i could book meetings with customer support. they were always very helpful and nice!

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Documentation is not very clear, need to go back and forward to understand it

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a platform where we can translate all our srtings. And that we can connect it with figma its awesom

 ### 7. Fast, Fluent, Fantastic!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin allows for highly accurate real-time collaboration with sensical, easy-to-follow organization and troubleshooting menus.
Collaboration and issue identification are a breeze, contributor performance is clear, and data recovery and update processes are smooth and responsive.
It is a huge achievement for a collaboration tool to be so easily understood across a massive array of languages and cultures, matching its purpose.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Depending on the project, training others to locate the correct menu/page can be difficult due to slight ambiguity on what each section is specifically for.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A shared workspace that multiple users can easily interact with to collaborate for a single project.

 ### 8. Mature platform with good integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Vast array of integrations. Good core features. Advanced AI translations.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Developer seats cost $$$. API is more complex than other platforms.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central repo of translations with shared glossaries and translation memories + facilitates AI adoption.

 ### 9. Amazing for open source projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro P. | Creator and maintainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin's ability to segment Markdown files was crucial in translating the documentation of our open source projects. Most alternatives treat Markdown as a single translation unit, making it hard for translators to spot differences when new changes are committed to the file.
Moreover, machine translation capabilities make it much more convenient for translators, who adopt a bit of a reviewer role.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The dashboard is a bit hard to navigate.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We maintain an open source project and wanted to translate our website and documentation pages.
We integrated Crowdin into our repositories and involved our community of contributors in the translation process. In a couple of weeks we had our documentation website entirely translated to Korean. This wouldn't have been possible without the convenience of Crowdin.

 ### 10. Relatively simple to setup and use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Easy to use dashboard, good slack integration (we have all CSAT reviews sent in a slack channel). We have set up things so that personally identifiable data is removed from reviews after 3 years.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

We had to jump through a few hoops regarding privacy and personal data to get it to work well for us. We don't send the end user's email to wootric, instead we send a unique identifier ( a hash) that we can decode if necessary if we want to contact uses.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to measure CSAT and it is working well

 ### 11. Crowdin Empowers My Ability to Maintain Multilingual Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vasili K. | Supporter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Definitely, I like navigation across articles as well as pre-translation capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Pretranslation malfunctions revealing errors, but it can be solved manually. It's a browser-application integration issue.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps to maintain multiple translation localizations across a variety of articles.

 ### 12. At first it seemed a bit tedious to explore the platform, turns out it's very intuitive.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrei I. | Associate Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

How easy it is to manage translations and integrate that into projects. At the beginning I had problems figure out why newly uploaded strings get automatically translated, but after a quick chat with the support team, it was as easy as clicking delete on a default workflow. All in all very intuitive platform for the most part and very useful too, with great options for integration.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Not a lot of documentation about implementation in frameworks such as React. Luckily using Crowdin CLI with "crowdin init" command is pretty straight-forward, however i found it difficult to figure out how the path for the source file in our React project needs to look in the online platform in order for "crowdin download" to work

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is great for us as we have multiple applications that need to manage translations

 ### 13. Perfectly working on all systems, fast translation, fast support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I was looking for a translation proxy for my CMS and searched for apps until I found Crowdin.

The ability to add custom AI translations is great—you have full control over adding translations.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I think the word count limit could be improved because the lower-tier packages include up to 1 million words of translation, and if you publish content once a week, you might reach the limit.

Additionally, the language editor is not very strong from a UX perspective.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To make my site multi-language.

 ### 14. It's easy to collaborate, but the search tool isn’t very efficient.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The platform is great for collaborative translation.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

searching for specific terms or content can be frustrating

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transalation & Localization

 ### 15. Translations at ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It is really easy to use crowdin translations platform. The ease of editing and viewing all regions together, the errors on translations help developers. The approval specially helps the developer review translations one last time before we save and use it. Appreciate the immediate chat that helps with queries.
Initial setup of project was quick and easy too.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The Approval side UI is a bit confusing and can take some time to get used to it.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we were using spreadsheets, maintaining it across platforms was difficult and had to write automation to ease it up.

 ### 16. A real game changer for managing multilingual projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel V. | Localization manager, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

What I like most about Crowdin is that it works really well with other applications we use like GitHub. We can work together in time, and thus translate assignments as fast as possible. Its multilanguage support is really quite comprehensive and with its various features make it easier to manage more projects. The presence of updates is a great advantage since it requires no additional manual translation management as is the case with Crowdin.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

What I don’t like about Crowdin is that they get expensive pretty quickly, especially if you deal in large projects. It has lots of features, but we sometimes reach a limit with some features and we have to upgrade our plan. This effected our budget, and caused us to evaluate just what features we really needed for our projects. And there have been the occasional syncing delays with files that were larger.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Crowdin it is essentially much easier and faster to manage translations in different languages. Back in the day it took a lot of time to manually manage files, but now everything is synced in real time. The automation features have been a big help with saving time by automatically adding updates for us. We’ve also found they’ve accelerated team collaboration, so we’re always on the same page and able to get our translation deliveries out faster.

 ### 17. Powerful Translation Tool with Room for Interface and Workflow Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is a powerful tool for managing translations in app development. Features like real-time collaboration, repository integration, and in-context translation streamline workflows and reduce errors. It’s an essential platform for teams aiming for high-quality localization.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The interface can feel cluttered and unintuitive, especially for new users. Workflow customization is limited, and the notification system could be more focused to help prioritize important updates. With these improvements, Crowdin could become even more user-friendly and efficient.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin simplifies managing translations by centralizing files, automating updates through integrations, and enabling real-time collaboration between teams. Its in-context translation feature ensures accuracy, reducing errors and improving the user experience. By streamlining workflows and saving time, Crowdin helps teams work more efficiently and scale localization efforts as projects grow.

 ### 18. Laggy platform and confusing user experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The free tier, the (visual) design of the platform, the (potential) integrations

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The broken integrations (Google Cloud Storage, for example), the confusing user experience (approved/reviewed translations), the laggy platform (website is very slow)

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a platform in which I could store my translated strings, allow clients to edit them and easily deploy them to my web app

 ### 19. Powerful platform, fluent experience, best translation cooperation product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad G. | Head of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

1. Easy to use, both for managers, engineers and translators. Our engineering team finds it pretty handy to integrate Crowdin into our existing CI/CD workflow. And inviting external translators is also simple - just send them links. Crowdin has solution for all our needs even before we notice we have it.
2. Blazing fast customer support. We get feedback in several minutes and the accurate answer/solution is included. Fantasy experience.
3. Professional. Crowdin has built-in support to hint non-technical translators about the placeholder(%s, for example) and special characters, this help prevent tons of communication cost.
4. Translation service and AI service integration.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

1. Directly inviting others with email does not work sometimes. I find the invitation links always work properly.
2. The online editor seems to consume pretty high computer memory, I keep getting reports from translators that their computers got stuck on opening the editor, sometimes.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps the localization of our software products. Engineers, managers and translators all find it easy to use Crowdin, while Crowdin also provides advanced features to help us integrate it into our CI/CD, all this makes the translation/localization much easiter.

 ### 20. Rich features and easy integration provides significant advantage for adding multi language

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlo L. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

the in-context translation. It allows translators to properly translate the sentences given that they get a better context on what the actual sentence describes.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

in-context requires you to pay to use it. I would love to have it in my personal products as well. I hope they could consider allowing small application with small number of words to use in-context translation to support small developers like me.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our application supports multinational user, so it requires language translation for smooth user experience

 ### 21. The experience were strightforward but it took too long to us to get the response back from you

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Poorya G. | BE Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I liked the UI and how easy and strightforward to our team to send words in the portal

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It would be great if I can find more documentations when I am intracting with the portal

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Crowdin most of the times when we have new feature and it needs to be translated to other languages or adding a new language to existing feature

 ### 22. Making your work easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milica T. | Translation and localization specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is a very easy and user-friendly platform that makes your work on translations faster and better. I use it every day, which helps me complete my projects on time.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I recently had an issue loading and translating strings. I contacted the support team, and they reacted quickly and resolved the issue.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps recognize the repetition of strings which saves my time.

 ### 23. Pretty straight forward translation tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabine K. | content marketing manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It does, what it's supposed to do - we use Crowdin to translate content in our software into different target languages. This works perfectly fine

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The UI is not always as intuitive as I would like. It isn't always obvious, which content version is the approved and live one. Also, if changes are made in the base language content, you don't get notified to adapt the change in another target language, so there is still quite a lot of manual labour involved

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We translate our software content into different languages with crowdin. It is a nice, centralized way to to this - (almost) all the content that we have can be translated here

 ### 24. Good value for the price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ján R. | Product & Marketing Manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Translation of idml file.
User can use his own AI provider.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

All OK
---------------------------------

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI translation,
short term delivery

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your honesty. Could you please share more specifics about what aspects of the user interface you find challenging? Additionally, if you have suggestions for the functions you feel are lacking, we’d love to hear them.

 ### 25. Smart tool to translate fast and easy app and websites

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriele F. | Regional Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Now alsso deePL is helping out in translating.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Translations are usually not taking care of the contest.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is helping out in translating our app in multiple languages even without knowing some of them.

 ### 26. A useful tool for localization purposes in apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The "new" AI feature is helping a lot when you don't have a glossar set up, you can manage a multitude of languages.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

As a "simple" translator of different app versions (languages) I find it difficult to navigate the different strings and layers.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 2 OS and 15 languages to manage for our apps. Crowdin helps us with the localization of those apps.

 ### 27. Overall great user experience with Crowdin

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander S. | User Assistance Specialist for Translation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like most that it is browser-based and it is very intuitive and easy to connect other apps or specifically your GitHub repository.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I do not really dislike anything in particular. There are minor improvements that should be considered making.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is combining a great tool infrastructure, connection to GitHub, intuitiveness and translation features that helps us localize our software efficiently and this leads to Fioneer's customers being able to access the German software version of their products.

 ### 28. Easy integration to our in-app communication platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mor A. | Demand Generation team leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The easiness for getting our ads translated and integrated to our day-to-day platform.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I would like more notifications about the steps of te translation process.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are running campaigns from the HQ into multilingual markets and we did not have an automated translation which created a huge mess before using crowdin.

 ### 29. Easy to use and consistent

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Overall Crowdin has been easy for me to use. I can find what I'm looking for quickly and consitently. Our customers are also able to submit tranlsations easily to us through crowdin. their support team also tends to respond quickly to issues you have.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Occasionally we see issues with the filters, like translations that have already been approved still show up under the "translated not approved" filter.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We provide software globally, to many different languages, however most of our development team is in the US (and mostly english speaking). Crowdin allows us to receive translations for our site, from our customers or a translation service, and upload those quickly to the database, so our customers can understand and use our software better.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thank you for your feedback! Regarding the filter issue, have you contacted our support team about this? Could you provide more details about the problem so we can investigate and resolve it more effectively?

 ### 30. Powerful tool for translation and localization needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has many powerful integrations that help facilitate your translation needs and seamlessly view all your content and be able to integrate translated content into your product as quickly as possible. This makes our translation efforts easy and fast.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The UI of Crowdin can sometimes feel clunky and not intuitive. I wish there was an easier navigation between pages and tasks and a more intuitive way to navigate quickly to the task you wish to access.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is making it fast and easy to ship out translated content for our product, and integrates powerful translation models that ensure high quality.

 ### 31. Easy way to manage all the localizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thiago L. | Global Merchandising Operations Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin was really ease of using. The languages are very organized separately and search is very effective too. I really enjoyed working with Crowdin!

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I could saw some duplicate piece of text and it was not possible to replicate the same localization to all of them.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discovery have a big customer platform in different countries. It was easy to manage the localizations for each of the languages they needed.

 ### 32. Efficient Translation Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I've been using Crowdin for translations, and it has become an essential part of my workflow. One of my favorite features is its machine translation integration, which provides automatic translations that generally only need a quick review or minor adjustments.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The interface could be a bit more intuitive, but it’s ok for what I need, as most of the essential features are easy to access once you’re familiar with the layout.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using the automated translation feature, some untranslated text would occasionally "slip through," causing English words to appear on our German platform. Now, with automated translations, this issue happens much less frequently. Plus, with our Slack integration, we’re notified of every new translation, making it easy to double-check for accuracy.

 ### 33. Best localization tool on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton K. | UX Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

This platform is really easy to use. I've been using it for the last three years. The keyword search and the ability to add comments to text strings make working with translators and proofreaders a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I wasn't able to find an option to attach a picture to a text string. Sometimes the extra context really needs to be shown visually

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're translating our app copy to multiple languages and we're working with translators and proofreaders.

 ### 34. Easy to use and very dependable!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreea S. | Content Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It's very user-friendly! I've never had an issue when adding manual translations or uploading a file.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It sometimes takes a while to sync with the database.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making adding translations for our customer support materials very easy.

 ### 35. Best translation management tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timo K. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has a modern and easy to use UI, supports many different formats for in- and expor and provides free licenses for Open Source projects. The request for an open source licence only took a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It would be better if the GitHub Integration commits as "Crowdin" rather than using the name of the person who set up the integration.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps me to manage translations for an open source application. People who have no knowledge of software development and Git can also contribute to the translations. Crowdin also helps to ensure the quality of the translations.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re glad to hear that you find our UI modern and user-friendly.

Regarding your comment about the GitHub integration, we understand how important this is for managing commits. You might want to check out the GitHub Action available in our Crowdin Store: GitHub Action. This tool automates pull request creation, and instead of creating them from an app, the author will be the GitHub Actions bot. Additionally, this approach gives you more control over the authorship of commits.

Thank you for sharing your insights!

 ### 36. Complexities with integrations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

What i found most convenient was the editing tool that would navigate from string to string and the ease of including a machine translation option. The CSM that deals with helping our team was also quick to help and get things sorted in terms of needing another project and explaining how the setup would work.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There were a lot of complexities when it came to integrating with certain tools (like paligo). Publishing didn't always transfer the files between the software seamlessly and the same would happen with importing the docs. There's a limited amount of file types accepted and in the editing tool because of how the pages of strings would refresh after each string, sometimes strings at the start of page one go missed and untranslated.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initailly I used it to generate translated versions for a handful of documents that we wanted to house in an alternative language. It was great for the initial trail and to see how viable it would be to have a multilingual help center.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> It's great to hear your feedback on the editor and the support you received. The part about integration issues and missed strings caught my attention. Could you share more details about these?

If you're open to it, feel free to write to me at diana@crowdin.com—I'd like to dig deeper into this to explore how we can address it.

 ### 37. TMS for newly established translation department

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel P. | Devops, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

When our company established a translation department, the question arose as to which TMS to choose for our first experience and to improve work efficiency. We chose Crowdin and haven’t regretted it once. The Crowdin Team plan meets all of our current needs. I’d especially like to highlight the work of their online support. No matter what issue arises, you can always reach out via the online chat and get quick assistance. So the next time you encounter a problem, there’s no need to panic because you know it will be resolved promptly, without affecting your workflow. When our company established a translation department, the question arose as to which TMS to choose for our first experience and to improve work efficiency. **What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

In our interaction with the platform, we did not find any drawbacks that would have a negative impact on the experience.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our company, Crowdin solves such important issues as synchronous teamwork, workflow tracking, and term database management. This allows us to facilitate interaction with a team of freelancers.

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

Localization for the web shops we build for game developers

 ### 40. Crowdin is very easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venla W. | Country Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is very easy to use – you don't have to be a developer to use it. The translations can go live immediately, you don't need to do a release to make them live.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes it's a bit difficult to search for a specific text to translate. There could be better ways to filter.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an app that has been translated to 6 languages. Crowdin makes managing the translations very easy, whenever we add new features to the app.

 ### 41. Crowdin puts method to localization-madness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus B. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin made it easy for us to connect our application and to translate strings using various atumation methods.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There are a couple of usability quirks (like no obvious or automatic way to always open the preferred translation editor), but they are not serious shortcommings.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It made our localization effort super systematic.

 ### 42. Great platform, user friendly. Equally amazing interface.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek J. | Translator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Interface. It is easy to use and has great interface.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing as such. There is no such thing which I could think of.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tasks management.

 ### 43. We are experiencing a really good product and professional support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faye C. | Head of Onboarding, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

First of all even before our subscription, we were able to find support very quickly every time we had a question.
The in-context module is very helpful for us, where our translators or customers can translate our product in live reaction.
We have the system for a couple of years now and every time we need anything new, we get an immediate support and we always get an answer.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

They are very helpful and always available. The system is realle good.

We also need a good translation tool for SSRS Reports, which is something that only a few translations solutions offer.
If we could have this here as well, it would be perfect.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Except for the translations, they offer chating inside each resource, where the translators can also notify us for issues in the source language.

 ### 44. Crowdin Ready to Translate everything

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Collaborative Environment, Integration with Development Tools,Glossaries and Translation Memory, Machine Translation and more which make it a valuable tool for businesses aiming to reach a global audience

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin can be relatively expensive, particularly for smaller organizations, Complexity for Beginners he platform can still be overwhelming for new users or those without prior experience in localization management, Sometimes seems to lack some automated functionalities or an easy way to find them

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing Multilingual Customer Support, Allowing to expand to global locations and still keep the website adjust to the languages. Help managing list of translations and tool support to translate them

 ### 45. Manage translations without Engineering

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bas B. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It's great to be able to manage the translations for all our applications and notifications in one place, without the need for Engineering to make changes. We use Crowdin every day to provide the first version of translations with Product Management, and hire translators now and then to review the quality of our translations. We've recently integrated DeepL Translation API to help us with first translation, definitely an improvement in ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The UI can be confusing at times. We're also dealing with some integration challenges at the moment, which I'm sure we'll be able to tackle together with Crowdin Support.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized translation by non-engineering employees.

 ### 46. Amazing and useful tool, great service and convenience of use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gilad N. | Software developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

- Super fast responsiveness by support team
- Support for every file type we use
- Good looking UI
- Helpful API to automate uploading/downloading
- Easy to find strings, update them, uploading files
- Important part of our software

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- Our requests for changes in the CrowdIn seem less likely to be done
- More troubleshooters can help (like when adding a new file to the sources, and the destination path format is not set)
- Missing option to update a string once for all languages

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CrowdIn helps us to integrate translations in our apps, mediate with translation services, and find issues in translations.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you find value in our support, file type compatibility, UI, and API and that Crowdin is essential to your software.

We hear your concerns about change requests and will continue improving based on user input.

Thanks for helping us grow!

 ### 47. Simple & Smart Solution for Our Translations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It's pretty easy to use overall, from finding strings to actually translating them. The translation memories are a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The best would be to translate our web app directly via a Crowdin plug-in. That would be awesome, but does not exist (yet?).

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our web app is available in four languages, and we regularly release new features. This means we frequently need to update our translations, which Crowdin makes easier.

 ### 48. Fast support reply and practical solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela K. | Sworn Translator , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The Support Team. They reply very quickly, and their replies aren't automatic but practical solutions to my issues.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Maybe add a function to resolve tag issues in all strings with one command.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast delivery and integrations.

 ### 49. Mixed feelings comparing with promising alternatives

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowding integrates with popular development tools and project management platforms. It's fairly manageble to set up automation processes etc. It's got a sophisticated infrastructure to manage copy and translations into multiple languages. Adding it to a CI/CD pipeline is very doable and definitively makes the copy handling process easier.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The automated "machine translation" is a neat tool, but the translations tend to become somewhat off. It's not a very friendly user interface. In my opinion, it has too much "techy" stuff like "build project" etc., which might scare off designers or copy writers.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin addresses the challenges of localization management by providing tools to streamline workflows, foster collaboration between developers and designers as well as ensure translation consistency. This benefits Crowdin users by improving user experience (through copy in their own language) and expanding market reach.
By automating tasks, Crowdin helps businesses and organizations localize their content.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We understand that machine translation isn’t always perfect, and that’s why we’re continually working on improving it, including features like our new AI Proofreading Agent. Please keep in mind that different engines work better with different language pairs. Our team can share the insights on a call. Please feel free to write to me directly at diana@crowdin.com if there is anything we can help you with.

As for the user interface, we’re always looking for ways to make it more accessible for all users, including non-technical roles like designers and copywriters. Your feedback is super valuable, and we'll take it into account as we work on making Crowdin even more user-friendly. Thanks again for your input! 😊

 ### 50. Great CAT for Freelancers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

1) Free
2) UI design is user-friendly
3) Advance with AI technology

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

As a web-based tool, Crowdin can get slow and buggy when the text loaded is heavy.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an excellent tool to complete translation projects, offering all the features a translator needs, such as translation memory, glossary, matchine translation, AI integration... All CAT tools offer the same features, but Crowdin is free and web-based, making it easier to use. The customer support is responsive and professional.
