"Effortless Mastering and Seamless Distribution for Independent Artists"

What do you like best about LANDR?

As an independent artist, LANDR has been a total game changer for me. It’s the only platform I use to master and release my music under the name KING KANG, and I’ve published over 30 tracks through it without a single issue. The AI mastering sounds surprisingly professional. It gives my mixes the loudness and polish I’d expect from a studio engineer. I also love that everything’s connected: mastering, distribution and analytics all live in one dashboard. Uploading and pushing my songs to Spotify, Apple Music and every other platform is as simple as clicking a few buttons. What do you dislike about LANDR?

The main thing I’d improve is flexibility in the mastering process. The AI does a great job most of the time but occasionally I wish there were more manual options for shaping the EQ or compression in finer detail. The turnaround for support can also be a bit slow during high-traffic release days which can be nerve-wracking when you’re trying to drop a song on a deadline. Still, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. It’s reliable, consistent and continues to improve with every update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LANDR solving and how is that benefiting you?

LANDR completely solved my problem of having to rely on multiple platforms and engineers just to get my music finished and released. Before using it, I was bouncing between different mastering plugins, struggling with engineering and then switching over to a separate distributor to get my songs live. Now it’s all in one place. I can upload a track, get a professional-grade master in minutes and send it straight to streaming services without ever leaving the site/app.

As an independent artist, that’s been a huge benefit. It saves me time, cuts out the middlemen and gives me full control over release schedules and royalties. LANDR also gives consistent sound quality across all my tracks, which is important for keeping my brand as KING KANG sounding cohesive. I’ve used it to release over 30 songs and the speed and convenience make it feel like I have a full production and distribution team even though I’m doing it all myself.
