## Crowdin Reviews
 ### 1. Greatly simlify process of managing internatiolization in our product applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serhii M. | Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Includes powerful AI powered set of tools to translate strings with variables even for non-native speakers.
Can be easily integrated into our version management tool (bitbucket) .
We also can invite translation editors - native speakers from outside internal team and allow them manage selected translations.
Great customer support in case of any questions.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

If integration fails (in case of account deactivation) we haven't got any warnings about that.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translation management for multi languages

 ### 2. Great service for application translation.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex P. | Platform Development Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Robust tool for handling complex translation workflows.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Could be more user friendly and support more automation.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin supports our application translation workflows to ensure we have full translation coverage across many languages.

 ### 3. Nice UI, awkward API, broken client libraries, and no response from support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The UI for translators and proofreaders is nice and has many features that make it easy to crowdsource contributions from our existing community.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The native client libraries does not seem to be used or maintained and support is non-existent—we file tickets and they go weeks without update, even after escalation through our account representative. Similarly, Github has multiple recommended integration paths and the docs are confusing about why or when to choose different options, making it hard to get started. Different integration paths have non-obvious limitations or shortcomings. Overall, the DX is very poor and it does not seem like a product intended for technical users.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin allows us to crowd-source translations from our large existing community and add a user-friendly layer of proofreading and approval, as well as (in theory, but not in practice) allowing translators to see the results of their translations in real time as they contribute.

 ### 4. Multilingual software translations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Support for branches in GIT integration, multi-lingual views

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Parameters are not always straightforward to understand

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

synching different branches in GIT and keeping specific translations per branch where required

 ### 5. Very effective tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The UI is very user-friendly. Also, the TM feature is useful. it’s intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes onboarding and daily use smooth even for new users. The Translation Memory (TM) feature is also extremely helpful; it improves consistency across translations and significantly speeds up the localization process by suggesting previously translated content.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

One of the main issues I’ve experienced with Crowdin is performance, particularly when handling longer strings. The platform can lag noticeably, which affects overall productivity. Long strings often take a while to load, and sometimes editing or saving them becomes slow or unresponsive. This can be frustrating when working on large projects with tight deadlines.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is facilitating the translation process. Features like Translation Memory, machine translation suggestions, glossary support, and real-time collaboration make the process faster and more consistent. It also helps maintain quality across different languages and projects, which is crucial for delivering a seamless global user experience

 ### 6. Easy lokalisation platform for translators and requesters

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noble Jacob T. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

New AI features are added. MT suggestions are improved but updations are less compared to other competitors.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

UI is simple and responsive but the main menu is confusing and limited customizations.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very easy-to-use translation platform which helps to localize anything to multiple languages.

 ### 7. Great for managing translations in SaaS product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jevgeni B. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

We've been using Crowdin to streamline our translation workflow, and it has been a game-changer. The integration with Git and our CI/CD pipelines is seamless, making it easy to keep our product translations up-to-date without manual hassle. The platform is intuitive, and our team quickly got the hang of managing strings and collaborating with translators.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

One needs an enterprise plan to attach a project to an organisation. On lower plans, projects can only belong to individual users. Sometimes when creating PRs in Github, Crowdin rearranges translation strings, which creates a lot of unnecessary changes. Perhaps, we haven't figured out a fully correct setup yet

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is helping us localize our product into different languages. Streamlining this process is essential to enable faster rollouts of new features.

 ### 8. Fast, reliable, and available everywhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Helbert P. | Freelance Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is an incredibly versatile tool. I love the fact that I can work on my desktop computer, on my iPad when traveling, or even on my phone in urgent requests when I'm out of the office. It just works, anywhere, on any device.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The only downside to Crowdin is the fact that I can't work on it offline.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is a truly multiplatform tool. The fact it just works (offering all features) on several different kinds of devices is priceless. I can work while traveling just the same way as when I am at the office or home. It's brilliant.

 ### 9. Crowdin, good for app translations but time consuming for plain text

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I likethe fact that crowdin suggests tranlsations based on what the user has previously corrected. This is very useful when proofreading strings for an App, a Client Portal or something of the sort.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I don't like that sometimes, what seems like html characters are imported, such as <0/>, which is annoying to see and distracts from the actual text. Also, I don't like the fact that it is hard to see the whole context of a proofreading file. Even though you can see the word file below, I find it easier to just proofread the original file because you can see the whole picture more clearly and it takes less clicks (saving and approving the strings). Finally, I find it a bit bulky beacuse it takes time to change between strings, and I start typing only to realize I'm not typing anywhere.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization wanting to have an app in multiple languages. Thanks to crowdin we can easily and quickly have various automatic mutations for different languages, and us proofreaders get tasks and deadlines. This saves the time of the coordinator to have to 'chase' us individually. And for me as a translator/proofreader, it saves me having to translate each string manually because this first step is already done, and I just have to focus on proofreading. And in many cases, for strings that are similar or repeated, Crowdin suggests the same changes I applied to the previous ones. This saves me time.

 ### 10. Streamlined Localization with Great Collaboration Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like how intuitive the interface is and how quickly translators and reviewers can collaborate in real time.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes the reporting dashboard feels a little limited, and the pricing can get steep as projects scale. It would be great to have more flexibility in customizing workflows.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we used spreadsheets and emails, which was messy. Now everything’s in one place, and our translations are ready faster so product launches go smoother.

 ### 11. Useful for unified copy management but needs improvements for Multilingual task handling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cintia H. | Senior Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin provides a unified platform to handle all our copy across all platforms, which is particularly beneficial for managing multiple languages. The interface is generally understandable, and managing team members is straightforward, making it easier to assign tasks and collaborate

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The process of creating tasks, especially for multiple languages, feels unnecessarily complex. Assigning members to tasks one by one is tedious, and there’s no streamlined way to assign tasks to frequently used translators automatically. Additionally, navigating and comparing translations across languages is not intuitive, and the glossaries section and content management interface could benefit from improvements. Although there have been recent UI updates, handling a large volume of languages still needs significant refinement to enhance user experience.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solves the challenge of managing multilingual translations across 14 languages by centralizing all translation-related processes into a single platform. It provides tools for website translation, software localization, and multilingual customer support, along with features like glossaries and translation memory. This centralization streamlines workflows, ensures consistency across languages, and facilitates collaboration among translators and team members, but sometimes it feels unnecessary complicated when creating tasks and assigning them.

 ### 12. Crowdin: more than a TMS, a tool that will make your localization processes smoother and easier.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nazaret L. | Head of Production dpt., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is an intuitive, easy-to-use tool with a truly amazing support team. There’s no perfect tool on the market, but Crowdin simplifies many processes without causing too many headaches.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The ways TM suggestions are shown (sometimes it is a bit confussing)

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating workflows is very straightforward, and communication between translators, project managers, and the end client is also simple — without the need to rely on emails or other communication channels.

 ### 13. Streamlined Translation with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Head of Engineering (Travel & Platform), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

What you like most about Crowdin is its ability to efficiently manage and streamline the translation process, making it easy to have your software translated into multiple languages. Additionally, the excellent support provided by Crowdin stands out as a key positive aspect, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing comes to mind. Generally Crowdin meets all our needs

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiently handling the translation workflow of our Windows Application into multiple languages

 ### 14. Best translating tool to use with next-intl

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I appreciate the ability to manage all my translations in one place. The translation editor is user-friendly, and I like how it uses AI to suggest translations. For simple texts, I usually rely on CrowdIn’s suggestions, which saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Whenever I want to switch between the editor and the dashboard, the page reloads, and it takes a while to load to the editor or dashboard. I frequently switch between projects and languages, and this waiting time is time-consuming.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring a translator is expensive, but computer-assisted translation using AI or large language models can be cost-effective and time-saving.

 ### 15. Great once you figure out how it works

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam L. | Senior Customer Solutions, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is super user-friendly and makes managing translations easy. It’s great for collaborating with teams and keeping everyone on the same page. Plus, all the tools and integrations save so much time.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

At first, Crowdin felt a bit tricky to figure out, and the learning curve was steeper than I expected. I am not part of the documentation team, so I had to learn how to use it by trial and error. Some of the features and workflows took a while to get used to. But once I got the hang of it, everything clicked, and it’s been smooth sailing since.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps streamline the translation process and keeps everything organized in one place. It made translating the UI to Korean more manageable and ensured consistency. This has been helpful in saving time and reducing effort.

 ### 16. It was easy to make translations on Crowdin

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emre Y. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Easily manage your translation languages and can look at other languages with two clicks

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Self approval. You can approve your translations

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central translation keys and translated values

 ### 17. Improve of process speed and all under one umbrella

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramona F. | Localisation Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It gives us ability to scale faster
project readiness visibility
history storage of strings
different file integration possible
very intuitive
fast support answers

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Comments of strings show per string in all langauges, shoul de. better only to show for the language selected.
Sometimes initial sign up for new staff is difficult

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

have all under one roof and visible

 ### 18. Senior Fullstack engineer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilia B. | Senior frontend engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like Crowdin because it’s easy to use and helps automate translation work. It also makes it simple to work with my team and keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I don’t like that setting up a new project in Crowdin can be a bit tricky.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to automate multi-language support for our application

 ### 19. Well integrated l10n tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume T. | cto, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Strengths of the tool :
- Git integration
- Gitlab/Github automated PRs with new translations
- Ability to pre-translate with AI + buy translations
- Many configuration options (including custom post-processing)

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- Setup can be cumbersome (finding the right flow to extract new messages, export translated messages, ...)

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowding automates message extraction and translation management for our software projects.

 ### 20. Fantastic platform for localizing your app!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is super easy to use, even for those just getting started. It’s been really great for me as a solo dev to collect localizations for my app from the community.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There’s a small learning curve with no previous experience, but it’s pretty easy and intuitive after you get the hang of it.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy crowdsourced localization

 ### 21. A beautiful reconciliation between developers and translators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B. | Développeur FullStack, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I really like the fact that the tool opens pull requests to update translations. The synchronization is great too.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The only issue for me is the fact of having only one manager on the premium plan.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer be required to export language JSONs for translators. This is beneficial for the efficiency and autonomy of translators.

 ### 22. Great product for outsourcing and coordinating translation and localization efforts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton-August M. | CCCE - Academic and Civic Engagement Fellow, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

User-friendly, especially the inline and visual live translation interface. The support responds very quickly to initial inquiries. Easy coordination with a large team of employees in multiple languages, etc.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes it can be difficult to localize or coordinate translation efforts in languages that do not use the Latin script. There also seem to be some difficulties in coordinating how additional unsupported languages, such as dialects, can be introduced into a project.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some problems are simply less about the product itself and more about working with groups of people who may have varying levels of knowledge in coordinating projects. The support helps in answering questions, and the user interface is very clear and easy to understand.

 ### 23. Competitive features at good price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

In addition to my previous response, I think the improvement since then has been on the UI end. User experience has been tweaked a bit to make things more understandable and easier to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I believe crowdin still needs to improve on the translation workflow flexibility. They seem rigid and having branching capabilities will make it easier to maintain.
Also, the CAT tool needs to be consistent with quality score generation.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solved the problem of having to translate for multilingual websites.
The translation management workflows are quite flexible and helps in achieving a fast paced translation flow.

 ### 24. Easy and Robust

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The AI and machine pre-translation features are time-saving and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Initially, it was a bit hard to figure out the UI, which could have been made easier.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I usually have a large list of languages to support on the websites I develop, and managing translations has been easier since using CrowdIn. I can set a source language, and by default, if I add new strings to my source language, the other languages indicate that they haven’t yet been translated. This was a difficult task to do manually.

 ### 25. Continuous integration for translations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It simplifies the process of uploading and fetching the translations within the engineering team. It speeds up the delivery time by feeing up time of the engineers to focus on building features rather than struggling with the boilerplate of the unifying copies between platforms. It's also easy to integrate with CI/CD and automate the upload/download tasks.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It's a little bit challenging when you want to ensure same copies between different platforms of the product, for example, iOS and Android apps, they have solutions to make this easier but still considering the differences between required formatting of the string files, like placeholder for numbers, it can be improved.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As exaplained earlier, it lifts the weight of managing strings files and ensuring copies are up-to-date off engineers' shoulders, letting them to focus on developing features.

 ### 26. Very user-friendly tool for software localization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

- Ease to get used to and to implement
- Syncs with popular repositories like GitHub
- Easy to connect to MT engines such as DeepL
- Delivers plenty of features needed (for example, QA checks, translation preview, adjustable view)
- Fast customer support (via mail, meetings etc)

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- shows at least once/day an issue that I need to log in, even though I am logged in and have used Crowdin about 15 minutes earlier
- missing feature to adjust colour or brightness of current segment to highlight/differentiate the text I am currently working on (for example light purple instead of light grey)
- filtering a folder (e.g. all entities in a data model) I can't jump directly to a specific file, but have to check the corresponding path of the segment and open the file in a cumbersome way (leave the list, jump to entities, find the one entity this segment is part of)
- images within files are not copied between versions (releases) without issues. I had to download the source, save it on my local drive, upload it and approve it to visualise it in the translation
- sync between GitHub and Crowdin might work faster

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin acts as a tool to pull source texts (documentation), (pre-)translate them and push them back to GitHub to publish it. It also acts as a reference for previous translation for concordance search and glossary, too. It secures consistency and coherence within the documentation of a product. Colleagues using Crowdin, but working for different products, can look up terminology and translation as well.

 ### 27. usefull tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Usefull tool to translate every aspect of product.
i love the search function

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

nothing yet, i am satisfied with this product

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Crowdin, we are managing every translation.
We are saving a lot of time and information are well centralized

 ### 28. Wonderful experience!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I work as localization manager. Before I got the position I didn’t know much. But Crowdin is so intuitive and full with tools. The best experience for me.

I like that I can get accurate report of the work my translators do and pay them accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I hope Crowdin can work on subtitles option for videos. They are other tools but I did not like the subtitles experience there.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning about different futures and what I can do with them was helpful.

 ### 29. I translate UI copies into Ukrainian while tech writing is my main responsibility.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yaroslava K. | Tech writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like that:
- it finds and suggests similar translated copies
- I can clear see what is translated and what is not
- I can see comments from other translators

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- no built-in functionality for the one/few/many/other case in UA localisation
- no synchronization with ZenDesk. My colleagues made some integration, so I don't need to manually add texts from ZenDesk. I still miss some integration features.
- no AI translations
- inconvinient way to add screenshots (no synchronization with Figma)
- I cannot see how my translation looks like in the design
- if I accidently start adding UA localisation to Chinese/French/etc. file, Crowding doesn't catch this. I'd like to see a warning.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Hi Yaroslava,

Thank you so much for your feedback! Many of the features you mentioned, like plural forms, Zendesk integration, AI translations, screenshot management, and design previews, are already available. Our team will reach out soon to provide more info and help with any questions.

 ### 30. Easy and practical

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

We use crowdIn frequently for all our translation needs. We translate in 3 languages using our internal translators (company employees). I like how easy it is for the developers to create keys and send for translations. The integration with code is also pretty straight forward.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes the translators do not get the notifications for translation tasks, even when they are added as translators.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translation for our website and apps

 ### 31. Crowdin a great platform for ad hoc work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is easy to use. If you're approved by a company to work with them, then Crowdin provides a platform to facilitate this work in an environment that is easy and simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has occasional glitches, like running very slowly, or failing to render the work correctly in a proper format for us workers to work on them.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin provides an easy to use platform where I can work on translating strings in one language to another, and it also helps me by providing past strings so that I can compare them with the present ones to ensure consistency and accuracy in my work.

 ### 32. Great Features but a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

CrowdIn is a tool for managing translations and making localization easier for global teams like ours.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The interface is hard to use, even after years of experience. Syncing tools like Zendesk is slow and complicated, and simple tasks like finding new articles, requesting translations, or setting up automatic updates take too much effort.

It would also help if CrodIn worked better with support tools to make translating tickets and sending responses in different languages easier for agents.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CrowdIn helps us localize our app, making it easy to support multiple languages and keep translations consistent and high-quality.

However, I've stopped using it for FAQ translations because the interface is hard to use and makes managing tasks frustrating. I hear similar feedback from our tech teams that handles app localization.

 ### 33. Troublesome Integration, Decent Software.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew G. | E-Commerce Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin did give us the unique ability to leverage translation with an outside party effectively.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The user interface is a little confusing, especially when trying to dig into different projects and keeping everything organized.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we were experiencing is effectively translating our site into multiple languages.

 ### 34. Crowdin is a good tool to provide your service in multiple languages

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It’s easy to manage different languages. Also collaboration with other people in realtime is very easy.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The Figma plug in needs to be better. Also the words editor is easy to make mistakes.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes easy to provide multiple languages for our website. It helps collaborating with engineers and translators very easy.

 ### 35. User friendly and easy to integrate into the development worflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The translation user interface is easy for non-technical users, it was very easy to start using Crowdin and to integrate it with our development workflow. We use it daily and it's a great addition and simplification of our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The support for non-technical/dev files (like PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is a bit limited, it's usable, but not as good as with development files, as users only see the extracted text and may have a hard time to understand the context.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synchronizes the work of multiple traslators working on the user interface of our application.

 ### 36. A very nice platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Easy to use, both for developers and translators, and open source friendly, offering appropriate plans to ease the burden on open source software maintainers. Their customer support is also good, once I had an integration problem, their customer support responded quickly and solved the problem.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Their operational alerts may need to be improved. A lot of times I somehow trigger a series of strange alerts, including but not limited to my account is not authorized to perform the action, my project is inaccessible, and so on. While nothing is actually really wrong, it's enough to cause confusion for those unfamiliar with the platform.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin makes it easy for the translation contributors to my project to contribute, and I can manage it easily.

 ### 37. Managing translations and checking status

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Git Integration, Automation + CLI, Collaborative Interface

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

 ### 38. Very helpful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paolo B. | Software hardware development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Very easy handling of different translations

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

With a basic level subscription, you do not have the option to have multiple operators.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage multiple translation languages with clients.

 ### 39. Crowdin review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel . | Engineer manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Integration is easy and the use too. I did not have experience with Customer Support but some fellow engineers that did had a good experience with it.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I find extremely annoying the version control situation. having an unique file to track the translations give developers conflicts always. It would be great if we could have multiple files for example per domains, so, the project is the same but the git files are splitted per a smaller unit, domain.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very nice to have a toold that takes care of all the translations problems without spending eng effort on it.

 ### 40. It feels like it should be simple but I continually am confused and not sure how it works.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It allows translations to be done by translators

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

How confusing the tiers are and what you can do and can't do. That I have my project blocked because I'm on someone else's project. Project ownership needs to do so many things (there is no manager role). The API was confusing to setup.
Mainly a lot of functionality isn't clear how it works or how it works for different tiers.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to store and manage translations.

 ### 41. Crowdin is great for global businesses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily M. | Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Integrates easily with our platforms. It's easy to use and their support team is knowledgable and efficient in providing feedback and solutions. Crowdin integrates with our software & apps where our devs have been able to seamlessly update translations on a nightly basis..

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It would be nice to have nmore export options for a specific folder/selected languages. You can export all translations but it's not a fast solution & the special characters do not export nicely.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our brand is being released in new markets globally, Crowdin gives our international partners a centralized location to localize apps for their markets.

 ### 42. Translating Ethereum website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Orkhan R. | Contributor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Tracking comments and User profile, ability to translate and the AI assist

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Leaderboard Interface can be improved, and simplified, also flags can be shown next to users

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to translate to different languages using the power of community

 ### 43. A very pleasing experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oleksandr G. | Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Translation Memory and Glossary are unreal tools in everyday translation!!

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Probably, the process of learning API was a bit hard for me, but I think that's more about personal preferences.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time it takes to navigate through translation is significantly reduced by using Crowdin, and its provided tools.

 ### 44. Great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomáš F. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has been a huge help for our localization projects. Our Localization manager and all translaters are using this tool on daily basis with ease and without any complaints.
The user experience is great as well as the customer experience .
The implementation of the tool was a breeze and I can recommend this tool to everyone.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I am happy to note that nothing comes to mind at the moment to dislike about Crowdin.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we have business running in many countries with multiple languges it is crucial for us to have everything perfectly localized and translated. Crowdin helps in managing all steps of localization journey for us and our external translators as well.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thank you for your wonderful feedback! 🌟 We're thrilled to hear that Crowdin has been a valuable asset for your localization projects and that it’s providing a smooth experience for your Localization Manager and translators alike.

 ### 45. Simple and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The Crowdin setup for translating a Freshdesk knowledge base is easy. Using an artificial intelligence tool, you can quickly generate new translations. Later, you can check and approve them before publishing them to the public.
The fact that there is only a limit to words and no language is perfect; if you need to increase the number of words, you can do it quickly.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The UI does not consider the status of the sync of the Freshdesk knowledge base. It can be improved, as when you manually sync it, we don't know when the sync is complete unless we refresh the page.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The translation of an entire knowledge base into multiple languages, without having to do it by hand to generate the translation at first.

 ### 46. Great platform, good customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen L. | Curriculum Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The Crowdin team has been very responsive to our nonprofit, helping us set up and use their platform to solve our needs. It is really intuitive and our translators have never had any issues with the platform. Straightforward and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

more options for downloading partial projects

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a global nonprofit and have users around the world. We used Crowdin to translate website course materials (in xliff) and also many documents.

 ### 47. Finally an all-in-one translation and string management solution the whole company uses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix H. | Director eCommerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

- completely web-based
- entering and changing translations
- ai assistance for misspelling and polishing
- always running, never had an issue

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- structure with many projects get a little confusing

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing translations over a portfolio of desktop software, mobile apps and web-services in a unified way.

 ### 48. Great software for translation projects, but interface could be improved

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The amount of features it offers, enabling to execute and plan everything from the platform, from comments to rates/costs calculations

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Especially for new users, it's difficult to find the features one is looking for. Also, the demo offered is not enough as an onboarding to Crowdin.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to share the projects that need localization, as well as implement them automatically into the CMS.

 ### 49. Crowdin Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It was very easy to send messages to multiple people in my Crowdin group. I was also able to easily send invites to members and keep track of who joined. Translation process was smooth, lots of options and easy to understand, and I was able to easily upload files and keep track of progress.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes I had trouble figuring out how to accomplish tasks like bulk downloading translated files or how to find contact information for members. I was able to eventually figure it out, but I felt like it was not too self explanatory.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating many files and having members join and review them as well.

 ### 50. Best part is customer support!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The best thing, is that whenever i struggled with knowing how to set up my project, i could book meetings with customer support. they were always very helpful and nice!

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Documentation is not very clear, need to go back and forward to understand it

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a platform where we can translate all our srtings. And that we can connect it with figma its awesom
