"Crowdin: Simplifies Translation Management with Room for UI Improvement"
What do you like best about Crowdin?

I genuinely appreciate Crowdin's ability to display progress for translating entire languages, which I find incredibly helpful for managing translation projects efficiently. Additionally, the control Crowdin gives me over how and when I publish translation changes is fantastic. I can batch these changes together to be sent as a cohesive unit to the production environment, allowing for organized and structured deployment. The setup process was also straightforward and quick, enabling me to connect Crowdin to our databases and mobile applications and start creating translations within just one day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

The Crowdin workflow was initially confusing, especially understanding how to start from no translations to creating them in a particular locale. The user interface was not intuitive enough, which added to the confusion. Additionally, improvements are needed in the onboarding process and the UI to make the platform easier to use and understand, especially for infrequent or first-time users. Furthermore, the direct machine-generated translations were not very reliable, necessitating the use of external translation services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Flexible, and Seamless Multilingual Content Management"
What do you like best about Crowdin?

I appreciate how intuitive and flexible Crowdin is when it comes to managing multilingual content. Its integration with GitHub, along with various automation options, makes it simple to keep translations current without the need for manual updates. The user interface is clean, and collaboration among developers, translators, and reviewers is smooth and efficient. The ability to synchronize translations automatically and collaborate with translators in real time is a major upside. Crowdin also supports advanced features such as translation memory, machine translation, and branching workflows, which help streamline updates and maintain quality. Overall, it turns localization into a continuous, manageable process rather than a painful step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

The Strapi integration remains unstable and sometimes unreliable, which makes automation harder to trust. Another issue is pricing: the cost per seat is quite high, especially since developers are counted as managers rather than having a dedicated role. This makes it difficult to involve the full technical team without exceeding budget, which limits collaboration and slows progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Translation Management with World-Class Support"
What do you like best about Crowdin?

I find Crowdin incredibly easy to set up, which made the initial integration process straightforward and stress-free. The support team at Crowdin is phenomenal, always present to assist with any issues I encounter, making me feel supported and understood. Their active involvement means I deal with real individuals in real time, not just bots, ensuring that my problems are prioritized and swiftly resolved. Crowdin effectively helps us manage serving our app in multiple languages by serving as a reliable intermediary between English and our translated strings. Their ability to AI-translate strings is extremely beneficial, allowing for efficient initial translations, which are then verified by vendors before importing only proofread strings into our app. Additionally, the integration with GitHub proves to be a seamless experience, enhancing our workflow. Overall, Crowdin’s world-class support system and efficiency in managing translations are standout qualities that make it invaluable to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Efficient and Collaborative Translation Tool"
What do you like best about Crowdin?

I have been using Crowdin for over a year primarily for translating documents at work. The platform is incredibly intuitive, which made setting it up quite easy after going through the manuals. I appreciate how complete it is, eliminating our need to consider switching to another provider. I find Crowdin to be wonderful as it offers a suggestion tool that helps keep translated parts organized and allows for seamless collaboration. The ability to publish translations and have them reviewed for approval is awesome. Crowdin’s collaborative features are immensely beneficial, enabling everyone to see and compare what others are doing, thus enhancing teamwork and efficiency. It helps with dividing the workload effectively and ensures everyone is aligned. Additionally, the organization of documents and projects is neat and supports efficient team management. Overall, it boosts our organizational efficiency, allowing us to categorize projects and share them across the team, satisfying our workflow requirements, and is a platform I would gladly recommend to others. What do you dislike about Crowdin?

I wish there were more options for comparing work not only within the organization but also with work that other people have already published. This feature would allow us to see different contexts and improve our translations by learning from others who have already worked on similar projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Global Translation with AI Assistance"

I use Crowdin to translate all our company content, which allows us to locally translate global pages effectively. I particularly like the integration with AI translation because it suggests the correct translation automatically, eliminating the need to manually write everything. This feature significantly streamlines the translation process and enhances efficiency. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Crowdin really easy, as we've been using it for four years without any major issues. Overall, I am very satisfied, and my positive experience is reflected in my willingness to recommend Crowdin to others, rating it a 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Does what it is designed to do."
What do you like best about Crowdin?

Our development team seems to like it the best. I previously used Transifex and now we are on CrowdIn. These localization platforms are a dime a dozen and it's become a commodity at this point. CrownIn has a nice interface, appears to work well for our development team, and has more capabilities than we even need. Haven't used customer support yet. Implementation took several weeks to bring it into our CICD pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

The communication between multiple translators when you have several different languages going through translation is a little clunkily. Sometimes, when I want to add contact to a string, I want that context to be available for all translators. There is no way to do this from the source strings itself and has to be added as comments and it's not configurable on what translations see this context. It doesn't feel native in the application and the comments feature feels more like a workaround. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

3-Crowdin also supports collaboration really well; being able to leave comments and communicate directly with other translators within the platform is super helpful.

4-As someone who uses Crowdin on a daily basis, I can say it's a very reliable and efficient tool for translators. It helps me stay organized, work faster, and maintain consistency across projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

1-Occasionally, larger projects can feel a bit slow to load or navigate, especially when dealing with hundreds of files.

2-Sometimes the UI can feel a bit cluttered, especially for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Localization with Intuitive Previews and Collaboration"
What do you like best about Crowdin?

Crowdin is a software for large-scale localization, which allows to see app and websites previews. I love that it displays all languages involved in the project and I find the comments and error flagging feature very clear and intuitive. Also, reports are accurate and speed up invoicing for freelancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

I find the AI and MT results showing first below the translation very distracting and particularly low quality.

The termbase is also not always efficient in showing results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saves time using this localization/translation tool for our company's public app"
What do you like best about Crowdin?

The user interface is very simple, easy to use. It clearly eases the collaborative efforts in translating my localization text for my public app. Customer Support is also very good, seems to cover all time zones as I'm getting response promptly although I live in Asia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

There isn't really a downside in Crowdin. The auto deployment is also very comfortable, making it worth spending money on it to save the hassle and time for our team to focus on other aspects of our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Crowdin?

This platform provide simple to use feature with some elements that can make your jobs run smoothly. The best feature that really in handy is TM (Translation Memory) that can save our quality and help us to keep consistence with the terms we use. Every week I always check the terms discussion that will give us more insight about what we are working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crowdin?

This platform does not offer a feature that allows us to showcase our work as part of a portfolio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
