I like all of Conductor, especially the Workspaces that provide a holistic view of a topic. Workspaces let me compile data like session data, keyword rankings, rich results, and competitive market share all in one place, which is valuable for understanding the broader picture without patching information together from different parts of the tool. It also integrates AI insights, which we're currently updating. The initial setup was very simple, and we had full onboarding team support. I am very interested in the Conductor Updates on Anti-AI Text Content Profile and plan to test it thoroughly, as it sounds very appealing and could be a good foundation for new texts. I find the planned expansion of the Writing Assistant, especially new metrics for AI search optimization and potential for a higher Content Score, to be super. I am also interested in the general product enhancements, solving the Canonical problem, and gaining insights from website crawling for our domains. It is great that I have the opportunity to create an annual report and I appreciate that schema definitions are applied automatically. Unfortunately, the content score in the writing assistant still fluctuates significantly within short time intervals, even when no changes are made. I've found Conductor to be one of the best SEO platforms I've ever used in my career. It powers my team's day-to-day SEO tasks, helps us with our audits, and our new business process. The Research section of the platform provides a brilliant view into any domain or page to explore rankings, top pages, and AI overview visibility. It's simple to use, and helps us do a quick temperature check on organic performance. I also appreciate the robust pages dashboard to track performance wit Search Console and GA4, and track progress with keyword rankings via keyword groups. Additionally, my view is that Conductor is dominating the AI innovation race in the organic search space, with relentless updates, new features, and products that add more value to the platform. The AI Citation tracking is incredibly impressive, to see how certain prompts and topics for our clients are appearing within different AI platforms. Conductor is miles ahead on this front. The creator dashboard is a standout as well - our team can create detailed AI-generated outlines based on specific prompts, and then fine-tune those outputs to align with brand guidelines - it makes for highly detailed results that are a step above what I've seen with other platforms. My team also raved about the in-depth onboarding process, and how easy it was to get up and running with our client projects. Conductor is our north star for our SEO work, and that's going to remain the case for the foreseeable future, especially a future with an ever-shifting AI landscape. I really like most every feature of Conductor - there aren't really downsides that myself or my team are overly concerned with. Perhaps one would be limited historical keyword rankings data within the Research section - we've seen other platforms show historical data going back several years, and this helpful, but Conductor doesn't have that level of historical rankings data at the ready that we've seen - but it could come in the future. We also appreciate how responsive the Conductor team is, whether during webinars, or our main contacts. The best aspect of conductor is its ease of use through the year as the product has evolved into what it is today. As we started this year with a lot of unknowns with AI, conductor has made a lot of difficult aspects of our work easy. The biggest ease of use has been writing assistant with the persona and AI aspect. Content creation has always been extremely difficult in the industry I work in with a lot of cooks in the kitchen. With this tool, it’s almost seamless where the SEO team can work with our content writers and create mockups that we can give to brand to improve overall visibility but also mentions within the AI models. Compared to SEMrush, Conductor feels significantly limited, especially for keyword research, competitive analysis, and deep analytics. The dataset often feels smaller or less timely, and many insights lack the granularity you get in SEMrush. Overall, outside of content guidance and basic monitoring, it doesn’t offer the same depth, flexibility, or practical SEO workflows that tools like SEMrush provide. I like how easy it is to create good content with Conductor. The entire workflow from identifying content opportunities to creating the content is something I enjoy. I find it helpful to use the performance > keywords feature to look at rank opportunities and then click the three dots to directly open a writing assistant draft. The keyword tracking (and now the topic tracking) is excellent. The keyword tracking and monitoring capabilities fuel insights and then offer us the ability to act on results with a variety of tools built into the monitoring capabilities. The reporting features and specifically the clunkiness of Workspaces. It is wonderful to be able to drop in widgets, but the report building aspects of it (writing, images, formatting, etc.) are hard to work with. The interface is very old and outdated.
