There are a lot of glitches. Small ones where support does wind up fixing them rather quickly, but they do occur at the worst times (such as during reporting times at the beginning of the month). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Imagine distilling the most useful aspects of enterprise-level tools such as SearchMetrics and Conductor, as well as cheaper but equally useful tools like SEMrush, Moz, Raven Tools and Ahrefs/Majestic, and then packaging it all in an interface that's not only easier to use but a better value as well- That's what Dragon Metrics have done!

I love those other tools as well and use them on a regular basis, but DragonMetrics is invaluable in my opinion, especially when working with my clients in the APAC region. The built-in Baidu keyword research tool alone is very convenient, not to mention the keyword research and rank tracking/competitor tracking abilities for all the local search engines such as Haosou and Naver. No other tool delivers this ability!

There's nothing I can point to that I actively dislike. The interface takes a bit to get used to, but it's the same for any software. Think of it like getting used to GA, where all it takes is clicking around to gain familiarity, and not like SiteCatalyst where you don't even know what half the things mean unless you're a BI expert. This tool is straightforward and rewarding to use-that's pretty high praise.

ProTip: The top left Campaigns/Research switcher is a slightly darker blue square and is easy to miss as it kind of blends in . It's what you use to toggle between the two major sections of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dragon Metrics gathers all of the essential SEO tracking information you need to know on a day-to-day basis in one place. This has saved a ton of time on doing keywords research and tracking on does the heavy lifting for you. I'm not a seasoned SEO veteran, but am heading up of this department in my company by default. That said, there was a bit of a learning curve for me because there are so many options with the software. At the same time though, this made it easier for me to get up to speed quickly. The best will be its optimization guideline for each site and the Asia targeting. I can ask colleague who even new to SEO and copy the advice there and feedback to client. And since a lot of SEO software/Tool are targeting US or English market, this tool focus more on Asia market (in Chinese) and the best part is it even support Baidu which save you a lot of time. The only part to complain will be the updated time on ranking, by default it should be done once a week. However, they don't position themselves as keywords monitor tool, so I think is acceptable. Tracking big number of keywords ranking is always a trouble for us,I mean really big number, until we found dragon metrics. It's has a powerful function to do huge number keywords tracking at one time. As all known, rankings is very basic but very important info for SEO business. Dragon metrics do help a lot. We have worked with, and demoed, dozens of SEO software platforms and products and DragonMetrics, hands down, is now our go to choice. It offers most of the tools that we used in enterprise-class software, and give us what we need in a much less complicated manner. The UI is easy so to use, very intuitive. I wouldn’t say “dislike,” but there are two features that are on their roadmap but not yet released.

REPORTING

The first is super robust and totally customizable reporting. This update is just about ready for release and from what we can tell, will be worth the wait.

Our reporting standard became our previous SEO tool, and we turned down other tools because their reporting was lacking. Over time we found previous software's reporting to be pretty but not terribly customizable and, at times, very onerous. Running reports numerous times to get all the necessary competitor information in it and then manually copy it together is not an idea of a good time.

LOCAL SEARCH

The other big one for us is Local Search, which will arrive in the fall. Conductor, whose local search feature arrived about nine months late (and very frustrating to use when it was released), you may wonder why I feel I won’t get screwed again.

Simply because Dragon has met all of our requests thus far in a timely fashion and has been on-target thus far with promised enhancements. They also want to get input on requests and features and don’t seem to want to keep their paying clients in a bubble My experience tells me these folks can be trusted, which I cannot say about our all companies we have worked with.
