I've done work in over 50 international countries and found Dragon Metrics provides more Keyword insight than other tools. In other tools, I often get a "No Data Available" message. Whereas with Dragon Metrics it is rare to be left with zero options. This is important when building content strategies for countries in Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Asia - locations that are notorious for having less SEO data within an SEO tool. Though there are many great features within the platform, it is the reliable international data that is the best feature in my opinion. **What do you dislike about Dragon Metrics?** One feature I am glad is part of the platform but one I think could be more robust is online reputation tracking. There is a way to do it but it requires some exports and manual work. Yet, this is easier than trying to do all of it manually. **Recommendations to others considering Dragon Metrics:** If you are an international business or looking to go international this should be one of the top platforms you are considering. I love those other tools as well and use them on a regular basis, but DragonMetrics is invaluable in my opinion, especially when working with my clients in the APAC region. The built-in Baidu keyword research tool alone is very convenient, not to mention the keyword research and rank tracking/competitor tracking abilities for all the local search engines such as Haosou and Naver. The interface takes a bit to get used to, but it's the same for any software. Think of it like getting used to GA, where all it takes is clicking around to gain familiarity, and not like SiteCatalyst where you don't even know what half the things mean unless you're a BI expert. This tool is straightforward and rewarding to use-that's pretty high praise. ProTip: The top left Campaigns/Research switcher is a slightly darker blue square and is easy to miss as it kind of blends in . It's what you use to toggle between the two major sections of the tool. **Recommendations to others considering Dragon Metrics:** Upload a small set of keywords, then download the exported Excel file, then go back and add all your keywords at once and set the translation, search volume etc in one go. The UI is easy so to use, very intuitive. **What do you dislike about Dragon Metrics?** I wouldn’t say “dislike,” but there are two features that are on their roadmap but not yet released. REPORTING The first is super robust and totally customizable reporting. This update is just about ready for release and from what we can tell, will be worth the wait. Our reporting standard became our previous SEO tool, and we turned down other tools because their reporting was lacking. Over time we found previous software's reporting to be pretty but not terribly customizable and, at times, very onerous. Running reports numerous times to get all the necessary competitor information in it and then manually copy it together is not an idea of a good time. LOCAL SEARCH The other big one for us is Local Search, which will arrive in the fall. Conductor, whose local search feature arrived about nine months late (and very frustrating to use when it was released), you may wonder why I feel I won’t get screwed again. Simply because Dragon has met all of our requests thus far in a timely fashion and has been on-target thus far with promised enhancements. They also want to get input on requests and features and don’t seem to want to keep their paying clients in a bubble My experience tells me these folks can be trusted, which I cannot say about our all companies we have worked with. **Recommendations to others considering Dragon Metrics:** Their customer service is bar none. DragonMetrics offers the same (and sometimes) as the more expensive platforms but for a fraction of the cost. **What problems is Dragon Metrics solving and how is that benefiting you?** Increase in organic presence, traffic, competitor research and strategy. ### 25.
