What problems is Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?
Here's an updated version, keeping the same three-problem structure but reflecting how the scope has grown to cover AI search visibility, not just traditional SEO:
Conductor gives our SEO and content teams one place to plan, brief, and measure, across both traditional search and AI search. It solves four recurring problems: fragmented research, unclear handoffs to writers, weak visibility into outcomes, and (more recently) a blind spot around how we show up in AI-generated answers.
AI Search visualization and competitive views let us see entity and intent relationships across a topic, so we prioritize the pages that will actually influence visibility. The addition of AI citation tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AIO, and AI Mode closed a real gap: we used to have strong traditional rank data and no idea whether we were being cited in AI answers at all. Now we can see both side by side, and identify where competitors are winning AI citations even when we're ahead on traditional rankings.
Content Guidance turns that research into writer-ready briefs, which reduces revisions and speeds time to publish. This matters more as we've scaled: we're running structured topic coverage across three brands and multiple industry verticals, and running research before briefs go to writers has cut down on rework substantially.
Page tracking, keyword groups, and visibility reporting then tie each brief to measurable results, with GSC and GA4 integrations keeping the numbers consistent. That data has done more than support day to day production. It's given us defensible, third-party-validated evidence of the channel's growth (our organic and AI-driven revenue nearly doubled from 2023 to last year), which has been material in making the business case for investing further in this function.
The net effect is faster production, clearer accountability, fewer spreadsheets, and for the first time, a real read on how we perform in AI search, not just traditional search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
