**What do you like best about Celtra?**

I use Celtra every day at work because it offers a full suite of ad-building tools across mobile, tablet, desktop, and CTV. It speeds up production time by allowing my design team to go from brief to live in a matter of a few days with its drag-and-drop functionality. It also acts as a platform for managing, finding, and reporting on all things related to the campaign such as performance data, creative examples, and templates. The support team is fantastic; they are super responsive and always approach a problem with a solutions-oriented mindset. If there isn't a simple outcome, they deliver the issue to the tech team to see if a solution can be created later in the year. The initial setup was very easy, with great onboarding tools and a supportive support page.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Some of their preview functions are a little outdated, such as not having a real 'insitu' experience and instead just having grey lines to simulate a website or app. I'd like to see a drop down menu of 'web/app' and a small selection of verticals like fashion, auto, news etc, showing what the ad would look like in those environments.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Celtra speeds up production time, letting my design team move from brief to live ads in days without waiting for devs. It manages campaign data, creative examples, and templates all in one platform.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

I particularly like to animate all of our ads in there. It's quite a nice feature. It works on the same principle as pretty much all of the animation software, like Adobe After Effects, so it's quite easy to translate all of the animations you create inside of After Effects and receive exactly the same outputs. Celtra helps us accommodate very difficult animations provided by clients, which is really nice because most of our advertisements are quite motion-heavy. I feel like Celtra did a very good job with their support page. It's quite easy to pick up the software if you're a complete beginner. I think it's an extremely powerful tool.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I feel like the UI inside of the builder feels a little bit outdated. The positioning of some of the editing tools could benefit from a UI change. I think multiple cropping for all elements would save a lot of time, especially when dealing with many elements for micro animations. Cropping each item individually can be quite time-consuming. There's an opportunity for UI changes inside of the builder where most of the creative work is happening.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Celtra eliminates the need for coding and a whole developer team, letting us easily create ads with drag-and-drop. It simplifies building motion-heavy ads to engage users, speeding up deliverables and maintaining our creative standards.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

Cross-collaboration across multiple teams and markets is significantly more efficient when working from a shared foundation. Having access to a single creative set that teams can build from creates alignment, reduces duplication of effort, and allows markets to move faster while still tailoring execution to their local needs.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

At times, creative weights in Celtra are still not immediately apparent and are often only surfaced during trafficking. That said, there have been improvements. Making creative weight more visible and easier to access earlier in the asset build process would further reduce friction and prevent last-minute adjustments.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Celtra serves as a hub for creative builds across multiple markets, which makes cross-market collaboration much easier when working in an enterprise environment. It also makes serving ads much more efficient. The CE capabilities make adjusting creative quickly very easy.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

I like that Celtra, from a creative and graphic design perspective, includes tools for technical audience like myself. I'm able to generate designs in Celtra that look high quality, almost as if I created them in Adobe apps. I also like how easy it is to share assets with stakeholders using a preview and not needing to export files. I can make changes quickly without having to open a hundred different layers. Automated text resizing and auto layout options function really well. It means that we can create one design file for lots of different content types and lengths.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

The user experience with project file management is still a little bit lacking. It's easy to lose projects if you have a lot in the system. Additionally, I would like more options for exporting assets, espcially for non-display/social, like vector. Lastly, setting up a template can be complex, to ensure the auto layout and text resize works correctly. It would be nice if there was an established template library, because at the moment, you're given a blank sheet of white space and you have to build it from scratch.

I use Celtra to scale our design operations quickly, improving turnaround time for multi-market ads while ensuring brand compliance across campaigns and ad sets.

The intuitiveness for generating automated content and the ease of creating great quality content, the ability to generate so many assets does not sacrifice quality.

When the content feed starts to have more content, the Celtra page crashes, and even if it's not a large file that has problems loading, it ends up deleting/moving content that had already been integrated.

The amount without sacrificing quality and variety. Be able to extract assets in large quantities, with variety and high quality, which translates to less work time and benefits the pipeline of creative processes.

Strong video & rich-media capabilities – Especially for CTV and high-impact display, Celtra handles heavy creatives while still keeping performance in check.

Ad server–agnostic – Creatives work smoothly across platforms like TTD, DV360, Meta, etc., which reduces rework and troubleshooting.

Built-in QA and version control – Makes audits, updates, and fixes much easier, particularly when multiple stakeholders are involved.

Debugging isn’t always intuitive – When something breaks (tracking, click-through, macros), finding the exact root cause can take time.

Preview vs live discrepancies – Creatives may look fine in Celtra preview but behave differently once live in platforms like TTD or on certain publishers.

Overkill for simple creatives – For basic banners or quick turn requests, Celtra can feel like more work than necessary.

Inconsistent creative quality across platforms
Different DSPs, publishers, and environments (Display, Mobile, CTV) all have unique specs. Celtra standardizes this.

Slow creative updates & rework
Last-minute legal text changes, URL updates, or CTA swaps usually mean re-exporting and re-uploading everything.

Lack of creative governance
When multiple teams touch creatives, it’s easy to lose track of versions, approvals, and what’s live.

It is easy to navigate and everything is clear to find. I like the wide range of components which are so simple to use to avoid having to code everything.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

The biggest win is the ability to build one master template and instantly generate hundreds of variations. You can swap out copy, images, or CTA buttons across different sizes (300x250, 160x600, etc.) without having to manually redesign each one. It effectively kills the "grunt work" of digital production.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Celtra is built for the "Goliaths"—global brands like Spotify, Adidas, and Unilever.

Cost: The pricing is steep for small-to-mid-sized agencies.

Overkill: If you only need to make five banners for a small local campaign, the setup time and cost of Celtra will feel like using a literal rocket ship to go to the grocery store.

Media teams need thousands of ad variants for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Google Display), languages, and audiences, but creative teams can’t design them all manually without burning out.

I like the ease of producing and adapting content in Celtra, as well as the way to edit and share it so that, as a client, I can review it and provide feedback to my agency.

Include video production with audio in Celtra, more dynamic transitions, better templates, and customization facilities so that the final result of the adaptations is easier for my agency and, therefore, better results for me as a client.

Celtra solves the large quantities of banners and adaptations that my agency must make, optimizing the time spent with templates and toolkits, saving more than 50% of production time. It facilitates the production and adaptation of content, editing, and review with my agency.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

Being someone who leads projects and teams, I think Celtra is very useful. It's especially helpful when it comes to how mobile rich media works well on phones and tablets. The user interface (UI) is easy to use, which makes working with creative stuff much easier. I really like the customer service they offer; their help and teaching have been very important in making special sets that truly get noticed.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Adding third-party trackers and tags during the build stage can sometimes be harder than needed. The process of making rules and measures for checking creative work usually seems more difficult than it needs to be.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Celtra has played a big role in fixing many problems with workflows. By making it easier to make and handle big media stuff, it's greatly cut down the time spent in these areas.

I wish there were an easier way to animate. I understand that the current way gives you the most flexibility to do what you want but I wish there were a template animation that could be used first and then adjusted to your liking.

**Recommendations to others considering Celtra:**

This is probably the best tool for customer ad animations. Much like photoshop, it takes time to become really good at using it.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

I like the fact that Celtra is easy to use, even for those with no design experience. Its effectiveness in delivering campaigns exactly as designed also adds to its undeniable appeal! The platform allows teams of people from different departments and external contributors to all have access to their own creative, making collaboration a breeze. It allows us to create dynamic, engaging ads with interscroller units while keeping our clients entertained - delivering successful results every time.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I dislike the lack of a rapid response team for incidents in Celtra. In addition, the price point is too high and unnecessarily restrictive, leading practitioners to develop their own solutions rather than buy in. This resistance has been exacerbated as vendors like In-Housing have also gained traction in the digital marketing space.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a digital advertiser, I'm able to benefit from Celtra's dynamic ad delivery technology. Its user interface allows me to quickly and easily create exciting ads that stand out from the crowd, while still providing an engaging user experience.

Working with Celtra feels like there is always something innovative for businesses in terms of looking to increase the speed and quality of creative production for display marketing. It gives us freedom to create unique solutions for clients which are tailored to brand specific needs, ensuring that the highest standards of quality and creativity are met. Not all formats are RTB compatible, creatives are not exportable, sometimes the creative in builder doesn’t look exact like in live enviroment, likely due to differences in screen ratio and address bar which is not present in the preview.

I appreciate Celtra Ad Creator the most for its remarkable usability, speed, intuitiveness, and power. The component-based drag-and-drop platform is known to create a "templated" design; however, this has been proved wrong as it provides comprehensive features that let you make captivating ads with HTML5 mobile technology swiftly. Compared to bulky Flash banners, which take a reasonable amount of time in quality assurance tests, code-free creation via Celtra removes such issues while still producing reliable results ideal for professionals in the visual arts industry.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I wouldn't say I like the complexity of Celtra's report-making tool. It can be challenging to generate customized reports due to their obscurity and lack of intuitive design. Additionally, it is not straightforward when replacing creative assets within a campaign folder; often, elements are removed instead of improved upon, necessitating us to develop unique solutions for maintaining functionality.

I´ve been testing several ad builders, a lot; Celtra wins in every parameter, easy to use, scalable, fast, solid, friendly environment, metrics, reports, etc

I work from Latin America and will be very usefull to have a support documentation in Spanish.

Celtra allows me and my team, build dozens of RM creative every day, with any kind of media features and interactivity, super fast and a solid way.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

Lots of functionalities such as localization of the assets via feeds, and changing template sizes semi-automatically. It's not bad for static simple images. Especially if you use more banners rather than photography in your ads. DPA functionality is probably the best product of Celtra.  Their account structure is good if your company is producing assets at a global level and mostly campaign-based creatives (seasonal, changing with new shooting and campaign images).

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Buggy tool, it would crash and give random errors, user experience is not great (example: You would click the back button instead of going to the previous page it goes to the account. Meaning you then have to click again on your project, etc). I felt like I'm using a tool still being beta tested with the customers as only this would explain this many bugs and errors.  

Very bad customer support & knowledge base. They don't have chat support and when you contact customer support they reply to you via email. If you report multiple issues at the same time good luck identifying which email is for which question. 

The most important learning for me is that when a company claims they do all they probably don't do it well. Celtra would claim that you can do all creative automation (DPA, video production, size changes, feed-based automation, gifs, asset distribution to platforms, naming conventions, taxonomy), and yes technically you can do all that but at a cost of your time. In the end, because the tool is buggy, you don't get proper support and since it will crash, throws errors a lot and you will probably spend the same time manually creating your assets.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Celtra is a creative automation tool. Ideally, they should provide fast, efficient creative production, modification of existing assets, easy approval, feed based creative production for both static and video ads, distribution, approval & feedback chains, and taxonomy of your assets.  When you purchase Celtra expectation is that you will save time and resources on creative asset production.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

There is no design experience required to use Celtra effectively. It's straightforward how to tell when campaigns are put together well and are running smoothly. Additionally, it allows for cross-collaboration by giving external partners flexibility when accessing other creatives. The platform allows us to create interscroller units-- which are high-impact and responsive creatives. This way, we can run engaging and exciting campaigns for our customers!

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I wouldn't say I like Celtra because the help materials are often unclear, showing a user implementing many different creative ideas without explaining the technical limitations or offering guidance on how to do them. I hope more skin implementations will be available in the future, but I would rather see more desktop versions first.

Celtra's timeline animations are an extremely efficient way to save time. The location, slideshow, and other factors contribute to the creative construction.

Celtra's automate product is an amazing products that allows us to scale content fast and effectively. Connecting it to our Own systems was also very simple and easy to set up.

Celtra is a user-friendly and reliable software, be it Scaling of creatives in different sizes or be it creative automation of the same creative with a different copy or visual or color, its all possible to do quickly with celtra. all you have to do is set up a template design and start adapting them. It allows you to build digital banners, mp4 video assets, static or animated display/video assets without coding them. and adapting them is even simpler using data feeds. Also, it allows the trafficking of the creative as well. easy to learn if you have basic design sense and digital ad industry knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Every product has its cons. Celtra is expensive and not affordable to use for small brands. Each exports of the creative are chargeable. Celtra has limitations in animations, it supports only basic and preset animations.
Using multiple fonts in the same headline, using bullet points etc text stylings are also not possible to do in celtra. If mp4 assets are larger than 10 seconds or asset dimensions are larger than 3000x3000Px it is difficult to load them in celtra or usually not preferable to build in celtra.

**Recommendations to others considering Celtra:**

If you require bulk creative productions and scaling than celtra is the one stop solution for you, go for it, but if you are small company, it may be too costly for you.

1. If you want to produce bulk assets just by changing background image/color, Packshot Key visuals, Copy, logo - Celtra is the right tool to use, once the template is set it is a time saver to build multiple adapts out of those
2. If you want to scale the same asset in different similar sizes - Celtra can help you here using the same background/key visuals/logo/copy - you can adjust them in the template by using specific focal points and you can generate them in just a few minutes.
3. If you want to traffic the built asset you can do it via celtra enablement platform just create the tags and traffic them from your ad server.

The reliability, ease of use and full reporting suite. I also like the ability to duplicate and easily search for line items and creatives within the system. The UI is also user friendly. I also like the color palette, it's easy on the eyes. I like the speed in which celtra is able to query the servers and pull reporting. I also like the support that celtra offers...have never had an issue with contacting reporting. They're speedy and respond clearly and effectively to help troubleshoot issues. I also like their newsletters and the way they communicate out new updates to the platform and roadmap for upcoming features. I like the ability to save and email reports and the campaign graphs and charts that show delivery and best performing creatives...really slick presentations. I also like the way that the platform does not have a lot of down time. I also love the templates that you can download to build out campaigns....it's done really well and has all the right drop downs and features to allow you to quickly build out the order on a spread sheet and upload it back into the system with the trackers. I like the login screen as well, it's simple and clean and does the job.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Nothing really, i'm a big fan of celtra. If anything i'd say its that some of the reporting fields are not compatible with each other so you can not pull them all into one report. I also don't like how the url's come through in domain reporting with the child domains...probably has to do more with the macros passing the value but it'd be nice to just see the parent domains. 
Also, sometimes when you append trackers and then swap in and out they disappear so you have to reapply all of them. I don't like how there's a limit to the amount or trackers you can input on the order templates...sometimes i have more trackers than are allowed so can't fully use the template to traffic my campaign.

Make sure that Celtra fits all of your reporting and analytics needs; otherwise it's a solid product.

How to delivery engaging rich media to a mobile environment. We've realized that the easy of use and stability of the product are making us meet that challenge effectively.We're also solving our reporting needs problem by having celtra handle most of our performance reporting on campaigns. Celtra also in a way helps us solve the problem with discrepancies with 3rd party reporting because the platform is so stable that there's little to no issues when comparing celtra to 3rd party delivery reporting.

For things that aren't immediately there or obvious, their knowledgeable support team goes above and beyond to help you find a solution or to improve features in the future.

Some features are somewhat limited – many can actually be solved with custom JavaScript that they give you in their documentation! While that's of course great, having more customization built-in is something that I look forward to.

The user interface is very polished and friendly, delivering an exceptional user interface. Creative output is astonishing. Integrations with other ad tech providers include all big and mid-sized players. Customer support is very responsive, and the onboarding process is smooth.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Higher entry-level budgets and commitments are needed to onboard. The onboarding process can take a while, especially with companies without previous creative automation or DCO experience.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Producing creative solutions at scale and quickly automating the creative process. Rolling out creatives on multiple markets without any hurdles. Improving results of display campaigns and overall quality of creatives.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

Celtra is relatively easy to navigate for first-time users and serves as an effective alternative to sending files and bothering designers

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Celtra is a tad confusing to get used to and does not necessarily help the photoshop efficient. I find having the PSD file is more straightforward than going through celtra.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I seem to not be able to find the files i am trying to look for to edit. Also, a lot of these assets have a lot of editable parts which can get confusing. I do think having all the files in one place has the potential to be very helpful.

We totally understand that while some things are pretty simple and easy, other things in the Builder can take some time or might even have a bit of a learning curve. We'd love to further assist! If you're used to working with PSDs, we do have a Photoshop Plugin that might also be a helpful resource to cut down some of the time you're experiencing building, as it would also streamline efforts. 

Our Support site documentation is quite thorough and our team is always here to assist and debug alongside you! I'm taking this feedback to our team to see what improvements we can work on moving forward. We would love more information on the files you're having trouble looking for. We definitely think we can help with this or provide some additional documentation or even some training on how to best navigate.
