I like the Cadmium Events and Education Platform because it is comprehensive and customizable, which really helps in handling complex meeting needs. It's convenient that we can manage everything in one place, and it's particularly valuable as our meetings grow and change—we can explore new features within Cadmium without having to switch platforms. I find it useful that the platform offers clear visibility into the abstract selection process, as well as efficient management of speakers and presentations. Something that has been a bit more challenging has been integration with our outside registration platform. There are a lot of variables at play in this process and it is quite complex. I like how quickly Cadmium adapted to providing virtual event options that suited my organization's needs - and the way they responded when I reported needs they hadn't addressed, developing loads of new options. Sometimes their penchant for having meetings rather than communicating via email is hard for me, as someone who remembers things way better when reading them rather than hearing them, but I tend to work around that by confirming things in writing where I can. From the call for presentations, creating schedule and collecting speaker information to building your exhibit hall and designing website and mobile app, as well as awarding CE. Plus you can live stream content, provide spaces for attendee engagement and it's all integrated and simple to use! The system is flexible and it empowers you to make all decisions in terms of branding and content.
