**What do you like best about APS?**

excellent customer service.  tool provides for all of our needs in ministry including features not available in major payroll providers.  onboarding process is structured and well-planned.  one program, not bolt-ons like other services.  integration with quickbooks was seemless and saves time and errors.  was a cost savings for us.  AI is coming along.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

Some areas of administrative access could be improved. Specifically, it would be better if there were simpler access for changing exempt status for FICA and FIT for exempt employees. Additionally, while the setup was easy initially, there were delays in implementation when schedules changed.  Reporting could be improved:  aesthetic layout of reports and customization.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

handles payroll and unique ministry pay efficiently. excellent customer service and worked with us on our ministry requirements.  APS found SS# mismatch errors immediately at onboarding -- prior payroll provider had it wrong for 3 years.  PTO recordkeeping, timesheets and IT Asseet Management are very beneficial & efficient.

**What do you like best about APS?**

I appreciate the seamless implementation process of APS, which was accompanied by a lot of hand-holding from their team, ensuring that we could easily navigate the initial steps without any significant challenges. The onboarding feature and integration with APS hire, which includes a built-in third-party background check with Verified First, streamline our hiring processes efficiently. Importing new employees to payroll is flawless, and the system also seamlessly handles benefits administration. The ability for employees to clock in using a mobile device, aided by geofencing to ensure they are on campus, is highly beneficial. They can effortlessly submit issues and time off requests from their phones, making it extremely convenient. The customer service is stellar; the representatives are quick to respond, usually answering calls directly, and promptly returning calls if missed. Their support has been pivotal in tipping the scale in favor of choosing APS over other platforms. Additionally, the pricing is highly competitive, offering the best value in the marketplace compared to similar platforms like Paycom, Paycor, and Paylocity, making it an excellent choice for our needs.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

I would like to make the full database available for report writing. Currently, there's a report writer in APS, but only some of the database sections are available to us. I would prefer it be wide open so that we can generate reports on any piece of data that's entered in the system.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

APS streamlines onboarding, payroll, and performance management, enhancing HR operations. It integrates background checks and geofencing, enabling seamless transitions for new employees, and allows mobile clock-ins and requests, boosting efficiency. Its cost-effectiveness and responsive customer service offer outstanding market value.

**What do you like best about APS?**

APS offers outstanding customer service. When you sign up, you are assigned a dedicated team of four knowledgeable and helpful members. You can reach out to them by email or phone without any hassle, and you’ll get connected to a real person right away. If your assigned team can’t resolve your issue, they will make sure to direct it to the appropriate person, who will also get back to you promptly.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

One drawback of APS is that I cannot enter foreign addresses for employees who are based in other countries. It would be very useful if this feature were available. I manage a seasonal group that comes in for the summer, and at the end of the year, it becomes quite a hassle to update all the outgoing documentation.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

APS is a user-friendly system that has made processing payroll much simpler and faster for me. The option to recall a payroll batch is truly a game changer. I also appreciate that there is no extra fee for running an unscheduled payroll batch.  The pricing is affordable. Additionally, the ability to customize reports to meet specific needs is very helpful.

**What do you like best about APS?**

APS' dedicated support team is unlike any other payroll company I've experienced. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. Their product is also created in house by developers, not sent to third parties, so they fix bugs promptly.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

Since APS has so many options to fit many different company styles, users do have to set up every aspect of their account, which can be overwhelming. It is amazing once it is set up because it can do just about anything I need, but it's hard to find time to set it up thoroughly, so I feel like we aren't utilizing all of the functionality is has to offer yet.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

APS is always taking and applying feedback. They are currently working to roll out timecard edit function for employees, which I think will benefit employees and save time for managers as well.

We switched to APS from a larger payroll vendor. One of the greatest things about the switch has been their focus on nonprofits and small to medium sized companies. We love the dedicated customer service. We're reaching out to our dedicated team versus calling a 1-800 number where we speak to someone different on issues.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

There has not been a drawback since we've made the switch to APS. We saved money. We have a product for payroll and HR that is right-sized for our small nonprofit and we appreciate the dedicate team assigned to our company. There are also additional features that we look forward to adding into our portfolio of what we aim to use as we grow in the future.

**What do you like best about APS?**

Their customer service is the best I have ever encountered in the biz. When I reach out with a question, I usually get a response in 15 mins-1 hour from my dedicated support team.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

It's not always super intuitive. There is definitely a learning curve associated with using the software, but as I mentioned, the support team is there to help every step of the way. I have also found some limitations in the reporting features. There are certain reporting capabilities I've needed that have not been easily accessible.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that APS is an all-in-one solution for payroll, onboarding, and benefit administration. This saves me a ton of time and headache which would result from  logging in and out of various platforms.

**What do you like best about APS?**

APS is very easy to maneuver. It’s user-friendly and quite sophisticated at the same time. On the rare occasion I do run into an issue, the team is always there to help and assist in any way they can.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

I honestly can’t think of anything I dislike about APS. Their video section is really helpful whenever I need support, and if I have additional questions or need more assistance, their team is there to help as well.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

APS covers and assists with everything from A to Z. They were very helpful during open enrollment and guided me every step of the way, including keeping me on track with deadlines and answering important questions about updating rates and other details.

The ease of products, user-friendly, adaptable, innovative. I like to think of APS products as "dummy proof" :)

**What do you dislike about APS?**

I do not have many negative thoughts.. a couple that come to mind are:
-only being able to review attendance time cards 1 week at a time, rather than 1 full pay period within the screen
-have to manually add each person to every notification and holiday, rather than copying multiple at a time. For example, I would like to create payroll reminder notifications for the entire year in advance. Since I have to manually add each employee, I create notifications shortly before they need to go out.

Helping payroll and duties/reports related to payroll more efficient.

**What do you like best about APS?**

I like APS for its ease of use and the excellent support behind it. The platform makes everything accessible in one place with just one login, covering various features like expense reports, payroll items, HR items, and asset tracking. What truly stands out is the support; when you call them, you speak directly to a person who takes ownership of resolving your issue, rather than being routed through a call center. The setup process was extremely easy, and it helped that I was already familiar with the system. The implementation person was very knowledgeable, clear, and concise, which made the transition smooth.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

There's some quirkinesses with APS, but they are very minimal. With payroll companies, there is always an issue that is not brought up.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use APS for processing payrolls, benefit and asset management, bridging gaps between payroll, time cards, and HR, all in one platform that's easy to view.

**What do you like best about APS?**

APS has automated a lot of our manual processes, especially in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration. It has reduced our time in recruiting by posting jobs across multiple platforms, which replaced a manual process.  The electronic documentation from recruiting loads seamlessly into onboarding, payroll and benefits. I appreciate that the system is fully integrated, unlike our previous system where components didn't work well together, which resulted in a lot of duplicate entry. Our end users, as well as accounting/HR teams like the system and its ease of use. The setup of APS was easy for us, and overall, these features save us a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about APS?**

It's not a huge issue for us, but the functionality of importing the payroll journal entry into Sage Intacct does not work well for us, but I've seen it work for others. We have to export the journal entry, which is already in Sage Intacct format, and modify it so that it comes over in two cash lines (like the cash requirements report) so that it easily reconciles to the bank. This automation needs some customization options to make if functional for us.

**What problems is APS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

APS automates our manual HR processes like recruiting and onboarding, saving time. It integrates employee information smoothly, minimizing duplicate entry. It is not a software that has a lot of functionality that we don't need, but have to maintain, but it is simple, scalable, and sustainable for us.
