I appreciate the mobility that 8x8 Work provides, as I can have my office line always available on my smartphone and tablet. The call recording feature helps with compliance, and I love the flexibility to add additional lines as needed. Video conferencing is also a standout feature for me since it doesn't require any software—it's web-based—making it easy to connect with clients who don't download video conference software on their devices. As a day to day user of 8x8 Work, it just acts as second nature to work with. All aspects of UC are covered within the program, messaging, video calling and conferencing. When deployed within a strict FW environment, sometimes updates do not get pushed out and therefore the user experience degrades. This could possibly be overcome by an auto emailing to the end user to remind them to upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I utilize 8x8 Work every day and it's an integral part of my job. I like that 8x8 Work has the ability to add contact information to my account, so when repeat customers call, their call is identified by their contact information. It makes personalizing my calls so much easier. In addition, when I have questions or concerns, the customer support reps are quick to assist and get answers for me. I like the ease of integrating the system on my cell phone with 8x8 Work that allows me to receive calls when I'm away from my desktop. Since I'm often running around in the office and can't sit at my desk all the time, having my cell phone with me ensures that I'm always available if anyone is trying to reach me. I really like 8x8 Work for its simplicity and straightforward pricing model. It's definitely far better than the other competitors that I have used in the past. The initial setup was really easy, just a matter of porting over the existing number and downloading the software to my mobile and desktop. I really enjoy how 8x8 Work compartmentalizes the various actions you can do. It's super easy for me to locate voicemails, texts, call history, and contacts at a glance. This is particularly useful because I'm in constant communication with new and emerging candidates and other contacts about their hiring process. It really makes my life easier. As someone who just started using 8x8 Work, I find the phone system intuitive and easy to navigate. I like that I can use both the physical phone and the online dashboard. I needed support with phone setup and the Customer Service Representatives I connected with were knowledgeable, pleasant, and effective in ensuring a solution for me. My first outreach to 8x8 Customer Support was by phone, and after around 40 minutes of waiting to connect with a representative, my call disconnected (from my side or 8x8’s side). I appreciate that 8x8 Work is a cloud-based product, which eliminates the need to set up firewall rules like VLANs and port forwarding, making it much easier to use. The prices are very reasonable too. I like the newer feature of sites from the older admin console, which allows better compliance with E911 regulations. As an admin, it makes my job easier and faster to assign users to a site, and if they move, I can swap them easily since changing sites automatically updates the extension prefix and E911 address. Creating other admins is problematic. There seems to be only one 'master admin' who can do more certain things that a normal admin can't do. The reporting options for ring groups could be improved, as they are currently not the most comprehensive.
