**What do you like best about Blueshift?**

Blueshift has a lot of functionality. It gives you features that the big guys use for their e-commerce platforms and allows us to provide these features to independent hospitality customers.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

Blue shift can certainly be overwhelming for your typical marketer coming from a more simple platform like MailChimp. Because of that, there can be a steeper learning curve for onboarding customers to the platform. Once customers get comfortable with the system overall, they can start to explore the additional features.

**What problems is Blueshift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blucious Open API really tears down the walls that can exist around integrating your websites and other third-party software applications into your CDP/email/texting system. However, you're using BlueShift. They make it easy to ingest all of your data and use it cross-channels inside and outside the platforms.

**What do you like best about Blueshift?**

Blueshift is an all-in-one platform that combines a CDP with a multichannel marketing automation tool. It’s very easy to build focused audience segments and set up multi-channel workflows that support both acquisition and retention campaigns. Blueshift lets you target customers through email, in-app and push notifications, SMS, and pop-ups/banners on websites, and it helps orchestrate consistent experiences across these different channels.

In addition, the flexible underlying data model greatly simplifies integration with multiple data sources. There are also several APIs that enable real-time integrations with external systems, making it possible to create real-time, event-based campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

Blueshift is a very good product overall, but there are a few areas that could be improved. For example, the website pop-ups/banner management isn’t very easy to configure. Also, the role and permission management feels limited when you need to manage different brands within the same tenant, although there are workarounds to address this.

**What problems is Blueshift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blueshift has helped us easily orchestrate campaigns across different channels, in particular by improving customer retention and reducing churn. With Blueshift, our marketing team can target specific customer segments and provide tailored offers across all of our touchpoints.

**What do you like best about Blueshift?**

I like the simplicity of the patform and how I can join my campaigns together with the journey mapper. The recommendations are really powerful and data is received in realtime.

Implementation was quick and easy to, with full support from the team.

This is the only tool I use, to monitor campaigns, and data as well as being able to see results and make tweaks along the way. 

It was easy to integrate this into the business.

Not as well known in Uk so not able to partner with som real time email clients

It can be quite technically difficult to manage. Luckily we have a great partner who manages implementation of our email system.

Blueshift provides quality customer support, a fantastic and ever-growing list of features, a workflow that supports both marketers and developers.

Some of the documentation could be more robust. More access or different "roles" or permission sets for technical developers and integrators would be helpful.

**What problems is Blueshift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have intense requirements surrounding recommendations and Blueshift's rec engine is one of the most advanced out there. Our ability to integrate on a deep level and share customer attributes out of our own data model keeps us at the top of the heap when we are messaging our customers.

The tool excels in its ability to integrate customer data across multiple channels, providing a unified view of each user. Complexity: For small or under-resourced companies, the complexity of some processes can be overwhelming.
Cost: The price of integration can be off-putting, as it is still a new and unfamiliar tool. This can condition certain companies.
Learning curve: Especially for customers who need to make a switch from one tool to another, or are new to CDP and automation tools, it can be overwhelming and impractical. 
Customization: While there are many off-the-shelf templates, it may not be as flexible for certain niches, who need certain campaigns based on their data.

**What do you like best about Blueshift?**

Onboarding and support team are top notch. They also take feedback seriously and improve product directly from user experience. 

The platform is relatively easy to use with flexible features to adapt to any number of needs from static list sends to AWS integrations and API feeds. 

Implementation is straight forward as long as you have clean data from your system, if you are dealing with bad product data it may take a second to properly integrate.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

The two biggest downsides to Blueshift are the reporting - it would be nice to be able to filter and segement reports based on use attributes directly in the platform. The other issue that has popped up is when exporting your data into a CSV or Excel it lumps all the customer attirubtes into a large data blob that is difficult to parse.

**What do you like best about Blueshift?**

Getting started with Blueshift was a breeze and integrating with their SDK's and new data connectors was straightforward. With a small dev team we were able to get our Native and Web Apps set up to send and receive data and messages quickly. The entire Blueshift team is dedicated to making sure that both during and post implementation, our system is running smooth and is optimally setup to meet our goals.

Since implementing orchestrated messaging through Blueshift, we have seen a positive impact to both our bottom line and growth projections. We look forward to our partnership we have built and are excited about the vision for the product and features yet to come.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

As with any system with robust functionality, there is a bit of a learning curve, this can lead having to try a few things until you get the expected results. The system can sometimes feel sluggish when loading reports or dashboards, but this is understandle as there is a lot of data powering the UI.

**What problems is Blueshift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have distributed apps on Android, iOS, and Web. As a small startup, leveraging Blueshift allows us to not only collect all of the Zero and First Party data we need easily, but those same integrations allow us to message users as well through those platforms. This was incredibly helpful to us as we planned our markerting and messaging strategy. What we found was that Blueshift ended far deeper into the user experience that we originally had imagined since we can now manage modals like in-app messaging or live content without the needs for developers to get involved with every design change.

Beyond just the messaging, we have a complex inventory system that requires sound data structure in order for us to message users transactionally about stock changes or other potential reservation issues and communications. Tapping into the catalog features and recommendations studio have been extreemly helpful in delivering these messages with conifdence that the underlying data is accurate.

The best thing is the ease of use, there are very powerful features that have been encased in a very usable and intuitive user interface.
They also listen to user requests and have had the experience of a request of put team being actually developed and put into production.

The reporting aspects were very basic originally but they have managed to improve them with time.

There is a rich suite of tools and capabilities available to use. It makes it easy to house many pieces of your communication program in one place and instrument things there.

It is a complex tool, so there can be a learning curve to it (although this is easier if you have worked in other CDPs/ESPs before). If you are an advanced user, sometimes it takes time to get customer support to understand complex support issues.

Blueshift is helping us orchestrate our B2C lifecycle communications, store customer data profiles, and build on-site experiences. It is very benefical to have all of these capabilities in the same tool so it is easy to automate campaigns, build segments, and create personalized user experiences.

The platform is easy to learn and onboarding new employees is a relatively quick affair. 

Building email journeys is a straightforward process that alows you to build truly dynamic and tailored experiences for your customers. 

Blueshift support is always quick to help with any issues. We're also able to submit featured requests- which has been a massive plus for us over the years.

I can't think of anything. Any issues I've had within Blueshift were quickly resolved.

Our customers have a diverse range of needs, so building out a compelling customer experience within email is a challenging process. Blueshift gives us the ability to build out journeys, segments, and conduct A/B testing quickly and effectively. We can put our customers under a magnifying glass, better understand their needs, and build journeys that improve their experience and provide them with the right products. All in one place.

**What do you like best about Blueshift?**

We have a great account/success manager who's always listening to our problems and our needs when we have our regular check-in meetings. We use Blueshift multiple times a day to run our email campaigns, and we make extensive use of their AI and recommendation features. We were also able to integrate Blueshift with our own internal systems fairly easily. The built-in WYSIWIG editor (Bee Editor) is also easier to use than coding emails from scratch, which makes things much easier for our email team.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

The major downsides are mostly around interface/UI polish. There are some visual bugs in the editor, but they are not showstoppers. The learning curve is also somewhat steep, but there are learning resources to help you figure out where everything is and how everything works. Some of the built-in features are also relatively opaque, such as recommendation/AI/affinity algorithms. It would be nice to get some more transparency into how those things work. On the plus side, Blueshift's staff has always been responsive and willing to chat with us and explain things.

**What problems is Blueshift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blueshift is enabling our non-techy teams to build and launch sophisticated marketing campaigns and journeys quickly, which frees up time and resources for use elsewhere. We no longer need dedicated developers to build emails or build out journeys, and we can onboard a new employee and have them using Blueshift in a matter of days.

Customer support and technical expertise are A++++. We are presented with many business challenges and the Blueshift team is always willing to jump in and help us solve complex problems while leveraging their platform.

Although the blueshift support team has helped us solve problems, it would be great if they could continue to become more knowledgeable in our business and industry. To me, this would enable them to be even more impactful and proactive with recommendations to our business.

I like the capability to manipulate event data into liquid logic in email templates. I believe personalisation is a key strength off the platform. 

I also am a big fan of the drag and drop editor, I think this is one of the best versions of this in the industry.

Blueshift isn't the most cost effective CRM system out there and sometimes this makes the justification for instances a challenge.

Blueshift has helped me make out automations scalable and personalised, the system has led me to be able to move Aro from a basic crm to a much more sophisticated one.

The flexibility, relative clarify of the UI, and comprehensive suite of tools. Also, support is very responsive and follows through on every request. The integration and implementation docs are relatively thorough and the mobile SDK is straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

The interface is a bit rough around the edges, but it's functional and has few bugs. I frequently use Blueshift (just about every day) and I get tired of having to log in each time. I wish there were a way to extend sessions or provide step-up authentication for senstive changes. Lack of web SDK so everything is "roll your own" in regards to the web.

Blueshift helps us automate all of our marketing communication efforts. It allows us to set up complex journeys and campaigns that weren't possible with our previous platform and would take months or years to build if we did it ourselves. Our marketing efforts, realized through Blueshift are responsible for a good portion of our revenue.

Some of the legacy features can be difficult to grasp. They seem outdated, locked down and no longer maintained. Additionally, the reporting can be a bit limiting compared to other tools I've used

We've been using Blueshift for a number of years simply because it's able to scale as our business grows and lifecycle needs expands. Above all the service is exceptional. We work with a CSM that truly cares about our success and ensures we are well equipped to tackle all of our needs even as they change and evolve rapidly. While I'm sure we could find a feature or two with another platform that could be more effective in their respective use case it simply can't replace the relationship that we've built.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

This is hard to describe since our biggest challenges are internal. I'm certain we would get a lot more out of Blueshift if we can clean our information architecture but this completely a limitation on our end. It's possible as this evolves we may face some restrictions with Blueshift but I'm confident it would be minimal.

Blueshift allows my team to be agile and meet customer needs efficiently. I love the journey builder and how simple and versitile it is. The data management side of Blueshift is robust and well organized - we are able to acheive a high level of personalization and segmentation because of it. 

Also support is very quick to help if we run into any issues, which is so rare. They often get back to us same day with a resolution.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

One element that I find a bit limiting is their insights and reporting suites. The existing solution meets all my needs for my day to day, but I'd love to be able to create more custom reports based on some of the user profile attributes that we store. I think building out that feature would  really next-level the ability to curate reporting based on audience attributes - not just engagement.

I have been really impressed with Blue Shift, the system was very intuitive to use and as a Marketer I liked that I was able to be self-sufficient and didn't need to rely on a Developer to help me do a project. Also, the metric reporting was again very easy and I was able to easily click around and figure things out on my own

I have been pretty please with Blueshift, I would say the only draw back is the stand up of the program. I needed to have the Dev team code all the emails, but I feel that with good platforms a proper stand up does take time. Once we were up and running, Blue Shift has been very user friendly

One of the greatest things about Blueshift is the available content for support and training, they are consistently making improvements and generally, any question I have for my account rep has some sort of training documentation to help walk me through it in the future. The platform itself is relatively user-friendly once you get used to it, and is quite intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Blueshift?**

With there being so many options and features in BlueShift sometimes the manpower and team that is needed to support some of the backend programming, functionality, upkeep, etc. can be more than what we are able to allocate, which means that we are not getting the best features from the platform if we don't have the capacity to maintain it. I highly recommend that any company that looks to take on this type of marketing platform do an extensive vetting process to make sure you have the bandwidth to support everything you want to do.

The segmentation that Blueshift supports has helped us understand our consumer behavior in a way that allows us to market more effectively to our end users. We have also been using AI-generated content to help with some of the creative workloads that the team was facing.
