LiveRamp is an intuitive platform that makes it easy to build smart, addressable audiences for our clients. Their team is responsive and always willing to build custom audience solutions with us as well.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

I'm looking forward to LiveRamp's continued growth in developing business areas, such as convergent TV. These areas are going to become even more important in the very near future as CTV gets closer to capturing 50% of the TV viewership in the US.

LiveRamp is allowing my strategy team to quickly and effectively build audiences for client campaigns with data that we trust.

The platform is simple to navigate and has pre-built analytics tabs for quick insights and easy access to key metrics.

The platform almost always freezes and is very slow to load.

LiveRamp ATS connects our site inventory with several identity solutions across digital advertising, helping us to monetize at a greater rate.

LiveRamp usaully gets done what needs to be done and once you learn how to work with them, it begins to make sense. They have a scale that is unmatched and they know that and operate accordingly.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

It is at times extremely frustrating to work with LiveRamp because of their process breakdowns. Everything is a ticket or a different group or a different contact. There are often times when I know more about LiveRamp than the reps on the call.

I like that LiveRamp has first party onboarding services as well as a 3rd Party Data Marketplace. Liveramp is the only business I trust with sensitive first party data handling.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

I dislike that Liveramp relies on automated support agents for troubleshooting ongoing issues. I would prefer that my LiveRamp representative be more on the ball when it comes to helping resolve ongoing issues in platform.

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LiveRamp is solving the problem of cookies going away. First party onboarding serivces allow for anonymous IDs to be created and mapped to users omn the open web which will continue to allow marketers to reach highly targetable audiences.

The staff was incredibly helpful and I really liked the layout. The lounge rooms were perfect for grabbing a snack during the midday meetings and relaxing afterward.

The bathrooms needed a bit more maintenance on toilet paper.

LiveRamp is a great partner, equipping us to build custom audiences (job functions/seniorities at specific companies). We can then activate on these audiences across relevant ad platforms. The match rates of these audiences to platforms is improved thanks to their solution.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

The audiences we build can become stale at times and need re-visiting. They also don't push to every ad platform that is desired.

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a relevant B2B audience created in a single place and then pushed out across ad platforms. This creates a needed consistency in who we are reaching.

- Their technical and customer teams are top-notch. Amazing support in designing and executing use cases feels like a partnership all the way
- Habu goes beyond media use cases and enables enterprise-wide collaboration across different types of partners, data types, and infrastructure. 
- Secure computing that enables our org to make the most of data collaborations by empowering data science to run models and expand the insights we get past a basic match scenario
- Habu's zero-data-movement collaboration patterns across Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and AWS

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

- Their focus on technical capabilities has caused some delays in UI/UX enhancements and tools
-  Lack of built-in partnerships across the media landscape, not a deal breaker but nice to have

The ability to retain data granularity and usefulness while adhering to the privacy standards of the future. I can still prove the value of marketing efforts and make connections to post-acquisition metrics to better determine long-term optimizations.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

Although a lot of the data connections and query provisioning happen in a graphic user interface, it can still take many steps to activate. Some actions can require typing, which opens the door for potential user errors to only be noticed further down the road once data processes

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to track and evaluate marketing effectiveness as it relates to real business metrics like ROAS, ROI, LTV, and more. Since sensitive data is not directly shared with us and our data is never exposed directly to customers, we have the necessary connection on both sides to evaluate success and collaborate on decision making.

LiveRamp allows us to onboard small-to-medium business clients' CRM lists in a privacy-safe way that is incredibly easy to use.  Their onboarding team was amazing.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

I wish they had a consumption-based pricing model so we don't have to commit to fixed monthly costs while we still ramp up use/sales of the service.  We could then switch to the fixed monthly cost once we had the demand in place to support it.

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LiveRamp allows us to onboard client data into our DMP and then model, driving really efficient marketing results.  It gives us a value prop that only Facebook and Google have.

The team's dedicated to the account understood the need/ask and worked tirelessly to find a solution that achieved goal. The ability to safely and securely expand our existing partnerships to include 1st party data is only possible thanks to the liveramp team and products.

Still in the honeymoon phase so there isn't anything dislikes. I will say the LR terminology took some getting used to and still isn't something I'm fully comfortable in.

Liveramp allows us to upload 1st party data for our partners to access and use for marketing purposes. It also helps tie back a return on investment which helps us secure more OPM$

Enables us to accurately target our niche audience with significant match rates, which is of growing importance in the aftermath of privacy regulations like Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

Support can be a bit cumbersome - the ticketing portal seems a bit manual and one would hope for more support from CSMs here.

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LiveRamp enables us to regain reach against targeted audiences on paid social and programmatic platforms - something that has been on the decline since iOS 14.5 and other privacy regulations. With LiveRamp, we are able to confidently target our audience at scale and improve business outcomes.

**What do you like best about LiveRamp?**

Habu's biggest strength compared to its competitors is that they are willing and eager to adopt new technology that become available on ad platforms. Thye understand the mutual benefit of being first in implementing pilot programs.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

One small downside about Habu is the UI is somewhat lacking compared to their competitors. As someone who doesn't need a fancy UI, this doesn't affect me that much.

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Habu helps us automate the sending of data to ad platforms. This is a major part of our marketing operations. Since Habu does an amazing job maintaining these API sends, we can use our internal engineering resources in other areas.

**What do you like best about LiveRamp?**

LiveRamp helps us connect our data to where our clients want to use it when they want to use it.  Without LiveRamp as a utility connectivity would be dramatically more difficult.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

This is difficult as LiveRamp helps power our entire digital audience business. So I guess the only thing I can say is being overly reliant at times can be difficult. I would also say that at times LiveRamp can affect your business with internal policy changes and reclassifications.

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LiveRamp helps take our anonymous digital audiences and convert them into platform IDs so our clients can better target their advertising.  The opposite is also true.  LiveRamp takes exposure files and converts them back into our IDs so we can tie the exposures back to our claims data.  This allows us to say 30-60-90 days after exposure a patient went to a physician or switched from brand x to brand y..

Habu's incrementality experiments have been invaluable in showing the true effectiveness of our digital marketing campaigns and shaping recommendations on how to adjust our strategy to maximize results.

Not all of our desired platforms are integrated into Habu's UI. While this isn't Habu's full responsibility, being able include all of our key advertising platforms would lead to greater usage by our digital marketing teams.

Habu helps our digital marketing teams see inefficiencies in paid advertising spend to cut down on wastage, which makes our advertising more effective and cost-efficient.

How well established it is, and how easy it is to connect to multiple publishers. I also like the "loop" of onboarding and analytics in one space

How disconnected parts and functions are. It always seems like you have to buy something new to achieve something basic.

I like their employees, their technology, and their documentation. All of this help to facilitate a fairly streamlined experience in a do-it-yourself fashion.

That said, sometimes it takes a while to loop in their Subject Matter Expert despite them being necessary.

Dislike the fact that it can take time to get answers and looping in the right stakeholders in order to get answers more quickly.

Sometimes audiences can take a little while to update on the user's end who is receiving the audience. It has taken up to 72 hrs for audiences to be uploaded to a vendor's FB account.

There are some limitations to the platform such as audience size limitations and other surprises that make understanding our data more difficult. It is not always easy to get these issues resolved.

LiveRamp's identity solutions are the most experienced on the market and they are a frontrunner in their field. They offer many identify solutions and are easy to get started with. Service and support is terrific.

**What do you like best about LiveRamp?**

I like the access Liveramp provides to the countless destinations we can push our audiences to within their Data Store.

**What do you dislike about LiveRamp?**

I dislike how cumbersome the process is to push a custom audience of ours to an end destination account. We have to first send the file to an SFTP folder, then wait for the file to ingest (which can take a day or two, and there appears to be no rhyme or reason for the delays), then we have to download the custom audience to a CSV folder and make alterations, and then reupload that file. I was actually attending a presentation today where the presenter talked about how the next step in the field of data transportation is the removal of manual processes, such as uploading CSV files. I really wish this process could be changed. Once I upload that CSV, I have to wait again, another day or two, and again no rhyme or reason as to why the delay takes however long it does, and then push the file to our clients seat in the destination (Which is usually the easiest part of the process, though walls/information we didn't know we needed to collect from the client, such as when you push to DataXu you need a custom pixel ID to push the audience, there is no way to know that information up front, you only find out when you push an audience, but I digress.) I wish this process was made easier and less manual. 

**What problems is LiveRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the ability to take fewer steps out of the campaign process for our clients. They no longer need to download a file from our platform and upload it to their own DSP account, but rather can just press a button and that file will appear in their account in a few days. The client's that use this LOVE IT, though the client's that use it and have problems with getting their files into their preferred destination accounts (A la Google Ads) have been frustrated when we cannot do that.

I'm only half way through but so far I'm extremely impressed! It's my first RampUp and first introduction the data world. I'm new with my company and come from the publishing industry to there is a bit of a learning curve but I'm doing as well as can be expected. Really enjoyed the IdentityLink panel! So far the best part for me (since I'm in sales) is the networking opportunities. Everyone is really nice and open.

I can't think of anything thus far..everything's been great.

We're able to get data from a multitude of different providers. Usually when we want custom segments, our data providers use LR to onboard. We also usually suggest LR for our clients as an onboarder as well

Match rates can be a lot better, sometimes we hit only 40%, which for my insurance company that is more tranditional can be very limiting

Being able to onboard data that would otherwise stay offline and being able to do more digital campaigns is a big benefit.
