What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

It is very easy to use and administer. The cloud platform works extremely well, and adding more technician seats is very easy and worth the price. The client itself works extremely well for Android, IOS, macOS, and Windows. Linux is also supported, although we don't use it, so I can't speak to it.

We've had it for about 4 years now, and it has been great. Upgrades are always very simple, painless affairs. Once you get your organization setup correctly, there's not much overhead in terms of administration time, unless you change policies frequently. Ours has been largely "set and forget", as our needs for the product haven't really changed since we first began using it.

If you need a remote support tool that just works, has BROAD platform support across both Windows, macOS and mobile devices, and has a very fast SaaS offering,look no further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

Distribution of the client in some environments can be challenging. The expiration of installation packages after a maximum of a year is understandable, but feels more like something that should be at the discretion of the administrators. We've never had issues with clients refusing to upgrade after the console is upgraded, so this seems like an unnecessary, undefeatable limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

This tool is very easy to use and manage, and the documentation provided is extremely thorough. I rely on bomgar daily to remotely access machines for troubleshooting and testing custom scripts. The ability to implement canned scripts has proven especially useful in my environment. Customer support to our users makes it very streamline. What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

Wish when creating a support ticket, they would respond a little faster.

Hopefully they can do PIV passthrough more seamless

Beyond Trust has been improving the product to be more user friendly and this is a result of using suggestions from the user clients. They have added features that are evolving to streamline with the most modern of computing today. The special user group meetings are another great function that allows the clients to learn about new features that will be released and even the road maps that in future releases. What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

I have been using BeyondTrust Remote Support for my end users for 6 months, and the platform has proven valuable with its constant maturity and growth. Although the setup process was a bit laborious, the result achieved was extremely satisfying and successful. I appreciate the benefit of user segregation that the tool provides, allowing management, traceability, and auditing, which enhances the security of the remote accesses I offer, without the need to be physically present. I find the functionality of privileged remote sessions very useful, as it allows me to record all actions and use administrative permissions remotely without the physical presence of resources. The traceability, auditing, and recording of sessions for all accesses are aspects that would make me choose BeyondTrust Remote Support again. The reliability it brings to my team is invaluable. What I like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support is how easy it is to access unattended devices. It just requires a double-click from the jump list.

I also really like that there are multiple ways to connect—whether it’s through a session key, a jump client, or even a remote invite. That flexibility makes it super convenient to support different types of users and situations without jumping through hoops.

What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

One thing I wish BeyondTrust Remote Support did better is offering more options for connecting to Entra-joined devices. The jump client works fine most of the time, but it would be great to have an alternative method for unattended access—just in case the jump client stops working or gets removed from the endpoint.
