“Intuitive UI and Seamless Integrations That Streamline Our Workflow”
What do you like best about Xero?

I really love the clean, intuitive UI/UX of the dashboard; it makes navigating daily accounting tasks incredibly straightforward. Getting started was painless thanks to their highly structured onboarding guides and helpful customer support team. Additionally, its seamless integrations with our bank feeds and third-party payment gateways save us hours of manual data entry every single week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xero?

While the system is generally stable, we occasionally experience sluggish performance and slow loading times when running large, multi-year financial reports. Also, from a pricing perspective, the recent subscription cost increases make it feel like a stretch for very small businesses looking for a strong ROI, especially when certain basic features are locked behind higher tiers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?

Xero has completely solved our disconnected workflow by serving as a single source of truth for our finances. By linking our Chargebee billing and Stripe payment gateways directly through its robust integrations, we have completely eliminated manual reconciliation and double-handling. The clean UI/UX allows our team to monitor outstanding invoices at a glance, which has dramatically accelerated our cash flow and yielded a fantastic ROI in terms of weekly admin hours saved. “One-Stop Travel & Expense Management with Real-Time Policy Control”
What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

Navan provides a one-stop shop for corporate travel and expense management where so many of its competitors only offer one but not the other. This means in addition to automating employee expense claims and reimbursements, we're able to administer and update company travel and expense policy in real time to ensure compliance as well as a smooth employee experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

Unfortunately, Navan is not able to integrate with multiple instances of QuickBooks Online, which is our key accounting software. This introduces some additional manual work to export and import the data from Navan into our general ledger each month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?

The primary problem Navan solved for us was replacing the previous manual process for employee expense claims and reimbursement, which required people to fill in spreadsheets and attach receipts to emails, which were then reviewed in detail by the Finance team. Navan automates and speeds up all of this, and we've received excellent feedback from the organisation as a result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Seamless integration makes corporate spending and expense tracking completely effortless.”
What do you like best about Rippling Finance?

The thing I love most about Rippling spend is how it deeply connects financial controls with our actual company roster. Because it pulls data directly from our HR system, the automation is unmatched. For instance, when we recently onboarded a new remote marketing manager, Rippling automatically issued them a virtual corporate card with a pre-set $500 budget for software subscriptions based entirely on their job title. On the expense management side, it completely eliminates the usual receipt-chasing nightmare. Our team can just snap a photo of a restaurant receipt during a client dinner on the mobile app, and the AI instantly matches it to the transaction, checks it against our travel policy, and routes it for approval without anyone lifting a finger. It gives us total real-time visibility into where company money is going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?

While the platform is incredibly powerful, the initial setup can feel a bit overwhelming—especially for companies with highly complex, multi-layered approval chains. In our case, mapping and fine-tuning custom rules across different departments took some trial and error before everything worked exactly as intended.

Also, to really get the most out of the automated spend features, it helps to be embedded in the broader Rippling ecosystem. If a company tries to use it strictly as a standalone tool without syncing it to Rippling’s core HR or payroll modules, it can feel a bit heavy, and they may miss out on the automated onboarding and offboarding card controls that are a big part of what makes it so effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Rippling Spend, our biggest headache was the lack of real-time control over corporate spending and the long delays in expense management. We were stuck with a chaotic mix of manual expense spreadsheets, misplaced paper receipts, and corporate credit cards being shared across teams with little to no oversight.

Rippling Spend solved this by centralizing everything in one place. For instance, instead of sharing a single physical card for department software subscriptions, we now issue dedicated virtual cards for each tool and set strict monthly spending caps. If a vendor attempts to overcharge us, the card automatically declines, which helps prevent accidental budget leaks.

On the expense side, the automated reimbursement workflow has significantly reduced our processing time. When field team members travel, they no longer have to wait weeks to be reimbursed; they upload receipts directly, the system automatically checks for policy compliance, and reimbursement is handled on the very next payroll cycle. This saves our finance team countless hours of manual audit work each month and keeps employees happier overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Streamlined Expense Management with Easy Integration”
What do you like best about SAP Concur?

I use SAP Concur to manage business travel and expense reporting. It helps me submit and track expense claims, upload receipts, request travel approvals, and monitor reimbursement status all in one place. The receipt upload feature is convenient, allowing me to easily attach supporting documents directly to expense reports, which reduces the risk of lost receipts and saves time. The approval workflow is transparent and provides clear visibility into each stage of the process, so I always know the status of my claims. I appreciate its integration with corporate travel booking and accounting systems, which reduces manual work by automatically syncing relevant information. It's easy to set up Concur, upload receipts, and create reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Concur?

The user interface feels outdated and requires multiple clicks to complete simple tasks. Expense report validation messages are not detailed enough, making it difficult to correct errors. Sometimes the validation messages are too generic and don't clearly indicate which field or policy is causing the issue. More descriptive messages along with direct links to the affected fields would make the process much faster and reduce frustration. Improving page load times and simplifying navigation would enhance the overall user experience, especially for users who submit expense reports frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“NetSuite Unifies Core Processes with Powerful Visibility and Reporting”
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like best about NetSuite is its ability to bring all core business processes into a single, integrated platform. It provides strong visibility across finance, operations, and supply chain, which helps improve decision-making and efficiency.

I especially value the flexibility of saved searches and reporting, which makes it easy to quickly access and analyze the data needed for day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is a powerful and flexible platform, there are some limitations that can impact day-to-day usability.

One of the main challenges is with Saved Searches, particularly around complex criteria and advanced filtering. As requirements become more sophisticated, it can be difficult to build or maintain searches without workarounds, and performance can sometimes be impacted.

From a supply chain perspective, there are also limitations in inventory management and demand forecasting capabilities. Forecasting often requires additional customization or external tools to achieve higher accuracy and deeper predictive insights.

Overall, while NetSuite provides a strong foundation, some areas require enhancement or supplementary solutions to fully support advanced analytics and planning needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

What problems is it solving?

Before NetSuite, our data was trapped in different systems that didn’t talk to each other. We were wasting hours manually moving information between spreadsheets, which led to human errors and outdated numbers.

How is it benefiting you?

It puts everything—finance, sales, and operations—into one place. For me, the biggest benefit is having a single, reliable source of truth. I can see real-time performance dashboards without waiting days for manual reports, which means we can make faster, smarter business decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With a larger organization this helps streamline multiple managers and leaders access to use funds while also implementing responsibility on them directly to complete transactions and be mindful of budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

I dislike that you cannot restrict a user specifically for certain criteria on where they are allowed to spend and have to create a budget with set rules. It was difficult to create a budget without interrupting current roles and associated budgets. I specifically have physical cards for gas use and found it difficult to have a card with restrictions for someone who also needs to be a part of other budgets for virtual card use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy) solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest benefit has been keeping track of receipts and for users to be able to immediately upload a receipt has relieved the constant run around of trying to find lost receipts that leadership has been forced to hold on to while at conventions or out of the office. “Ramp Makes Expense and Travel Management Seamless and Efficient”
What do you like best about Ramp?

5-Star Review for Ramp

Ramp has been an excellent tool for managing both expenses and travel. The platform is highly intuitive and easy to use, so it’s simple for employees and administrators to navigate. Whether it’s submitting expenses or tracking spending, the overall process feels streamlined and efficient.

A standout feature for me is the Travel functionality. Booking flights and hotels, as well as managing travel plans, is seamless and straightforward. It’s also well integrated with expense management, which saves time and removes much of the usual hassle that comes with business travel. Having travel bookings and related expenses connected in one place makes reconciliation and reporting noticeably easier.

Overall, Ramp has improved our efficiency, increased visibility into spending, and simplified our travel management process. I would recommend Ramp to any organization looking for a modern, user-friendly solution for expense management and business travel. The ease of use, automation, and strong travel features make it a valuable tool for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

There’s nothing I can say that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ramp has helped solve several challenges I’ve faced with expense management, corporate spending, and business travel. Before using Ramp, tracking expenses, submitting receipts, and reconciling transactions was time-consuming and often required manual follow-up. With Ramp, much of that work is automated, which makes it easier to manage company spending accurately and efficiently.

The biggest benefit for me is how simple and easy the platform is to use. Expense reporting is fast, receipt collection feels seamless, and approvals move much more quickly than they did with traditional systems. I also appreciate the clear visibility into spending, which helps reduce errors and saves valuable time.

Ramp’s Travel features have made business travel significantly easier as well. Booking flights and hotels is straightforward, itineraries are easy to manage, and travel expenses are automatically tied to the right transactions. This removes a lot of the administrative work that usually comes with business travel and lets me focus more on my work instead of expense management.

Overall, Ramp saves time, improves efficiency, increases transparency around spending, and makes travel and expense management a much smoother experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Efficient and fast reimbursement tool, great for everyday business expenses”
What do you like best about Expensify?

The automated receipt scanning is incredibly efficient; it reads data accurately and saves a lot of time. I also love how easy it is to upload payment information on the go and keep all expense categories organized in real-time, which significantly reduces administrative work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Expensify?

It lacks an option to save "favorite" or frequent categories and merchants. Since we typically submit the same types of expenses (like books, conference tickets, or regular client meetings), having a quick-select or default option for frequent entries would make the process even faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Expensify solving and how is that benefiting you?

Expensify solves the tedious and slow process of manual expense management. Before, handling paper receipts and filling out spreadsheets took up valuable time. Now, it significantly reduces administrative work by allowing us to scan and submit expenses in seconds.

The biggest benefit is the speed and organization: it tracks client entertainment and business travel costs in real-time—minimizing human error in categorization—and ensures employees get their money back in less than a month. It works incredibly well for everyday upfront costs like books, conference tickets, or restaurant meetings. However, for massive out-of-pocket expenses like flight tickets, I still prefer the company to cover them upfront rather than paying out of pocket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless Client Management and Fast Invoicing in One Clean Platform”
What do you like best about Refrens Accounting?

Refrens Accounting stands out because of how effortlessly it centralizes my entire client management and billing workflow. Having used it for over two years, the biggest upside for me is the seamless transition from creating professional quotations to converting them into final invoices.

The user interface (UI/UX) is incredibly clean and intuitive, making it easy to manage a growing client database without a steep learning curve. Performance-wise, the platform is fast and highly reliable; I can generate an invoice and send it to a client in under two minutes, which has dramatically improved my day-to-day efficiency.

Instead of juggling separate tools for invoicing, quotations, and client tracking, Refrens gives me plenty of comprehensive features under one roof to manage my business operations. It has saved me hours of administrative work each week, offering an incredible return on investment (ROI) for freelancers and small business owners who want to stay organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Refrens Accounting?

While Refrens Accounting is excellent for day-to-day operations, there is still room for improvement regarding deep third-party integrations. It would be highly beneficial to have more native sync capabilities with advanced project management tools or external CRM systems to automate workflows even further.

Additionally, as the platform continues to add features, the reporting and analytics tools could be expanded to provide deeper financial insights and automated forecasting for long-term planning. However, these are minor feature gaps, and the core functionalities for invoicing, quotations, and client management remain incredibly strong and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Refrens Accounting solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Refrens Accounting, my business operations were heavily fragmented. I was constantly juggling multiple disjointed platforms—using separate tools or spreadsheets to create quotations, handle client records, and send invoices. This scattered workflow made it time-consuming to stay organized and led to delays in getting paid.

Refrens completely solves this issue by serving as a centralized, all-in-one hub for my client management and billing ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I love how BILL AP/AR enables me to easily process and receive electronic payments. It saves a lot of time since I don't have to print and mail checks or go to the bank to deposit checks. I also find that it speeds up our Accounts Receivable process significantly when clients pay electronically, which helps with cash flow. Additionally, I like the integration with QuickBooks Online for the parts I've figured out, as it supports my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

The interface continues to be a huge challenge for me. I have it synced with QuickBooks Online but overall do not find the user experience easy or enjoyable. I think because of this I have not dug deeper into the features or how else I could be using it. I do not feel that it's really clear what it's doing or how it's set up. I would want a simpler interface, better instructions and guidance as I use it. The initial setup was not very easy, it took me a while to figure out. I do remember feeling overwhelmed by the setup and interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Strong Spend Controls, Intuitive Workflows, and Excellent Support”
What do you like best about Payhawk?

Payhawk gives us strong control over company spending while keeping the process straightforward for employees. The card management, spend policies, approval workflows and expense tracking features allow us to maintain financial controls without creating unnecessary administration.

As a finance team, we particularly value the ability to create tailored card policies, set merchant restrictions, automate approval workflows and gain real-time visibility over spend across the business. The platform is intuitive to use and provides a good balance between user experience and governance.

The support team has also been excellent. When we had a complex query regarding merchant restrictions and the interaction between recurring spend requests and card policy resets, the team investigated the issue thoroughly, escalated it internally, and provided a clear explanation that enabled us to configure the controls exactly as required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payhawk?

While Payhawk offers strong spend controls and approval workflows, some areas could be more flexible. Certain configuration options, such as merchant restrictions, can be difficult to manage when merchant names don't exactly match how transactions are presented by card providers. More granular controls and clearer visibility of how policies interact with spend requests would make administration easier.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integration is also an area where additional flexibility and documentation would be beneficial, particularly for organisations with more complex accounting and approval requirements.

That said, the platform is continually improving, and the support team has been responsive whenever we've encountered challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?

Payhawk is helping us solve several challenges around spend control, approval governance, and visibility of company expenditure. Before implementing Payhawk, managing corporate cards, collecting receipts, and ensuring appropriate approvals required significant manual effort and created unnecessary risk.

The platform allows us to issue cards with tailored controls, automate approval workflows, enforce spending policies, and capture supporting documentation at the point of spend. This has improved compliance, reduced administrative workload for the finance team, and provided real-time visibility over company expenditure.

Payhawk is also helping us standardise processes across multiple entities and users, making it easier to manage spend consistently while maintaining strong financial controls and auditability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Proactive Text Receipt Capture Makes Expense Tracking Effortless”
What do you like best about Sage Expense Management?

What I like most about Sage Expense Management is how proactive it is. Being able to send in receipts through a text thread right after I’m notified of a charge is amazing, and it makes keeping all my work expenses together so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Expense Management?

I do a lot of international travel, so my favorite feature—text thread notifications and sending the associated receipts—doesn’t always work when I’m abroad. Sometimes it’s because cell service is spotty, but more often it’s because the platform can’t read receipts in other currencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sage Expense Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem this solves for me is getting an in-the-moment reminder to capture receipts. Trying to keep track of a ton of paper receipts and then upload them all at once would be a nightmare, especially on larger work trips with lots of expenses. I also love getting a text whenever my work card is used, because it helps me stay aware of every charge and quickly identify if it was ever used incorrectly. “Bill360 Makes Payments Faster with a Convenient “Pay Now” Button”
What do you like best about Bill360?

We have never had a "Pay Now" button for our customers and it has ALWAYS been asked for. It is great to have that readily available. This helps with the one time customers that are typically harder to track down for payment. When the invoice is sent from Bill360 it shows when the customer opened the email so there is never a "I didnt receive the invoice" excuse. Happy to be able to receive payments in a more timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bill360?

Honestly I havent been working with it enough to find something I dislike but at the moment I am hard pressed to find something as well. Overall the product works as intended and I hopefully do not find anything I dislike moving foward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bill360 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our first day implementing Bill360 we had a customer use the "pay now" options and that is already a one time customer that we will not have to reach out to in order to get paid. Also the outstanding payments being included on the invoice helps so much. This is one thing our owner has wanted for a long time with our invoicing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Clean, Intuitive UI That Saves Real Time and Fits Our Workflow”
What do you like best about Tabs?

Tabs is very user-friendly. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to onboard both my team and clients without a steep learning curve. Since I work across multiple clients as a fractional CFO, having a platform that's quick to navigate and doesn't require extensive training saves real time. It also plays well with the rest of our workflow, we've been able to build automations around it, which speaks to how well thought out the underlying structure is, not just the UI on top. What do you dislike about Tabs?

Sometimes the automation does not fully complete what is required Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a fractional CFO managing multiple clients, one of the biggest challenges is keeping invoicing and revenue recognition organized and accurate across different accounts without a ton of manual overhead. Tabs solves that by giving us a central, structured way to manage invoices and sync them with our accounting systems, which cuts down on the back-and-forth and manual data entry that used to eat up time. It's also made it easier to build automation around contract and purchase order processing, so instead of manually tracking deals and invoices in scattered documents, we have a more reliable, centralized system. The benefit is real time savings and fewer errors, which matters a lot when you're supporting several clients at once and need confidence that the numbers are right. “One place for everything we need in billing.”
What do you like best about Sequence?

The thing that’s stood out the most for us is how much of our quote-to-cash process is now in one place. Our pricing is usage-based and fairly involved, but Sequence handles it without us having to develop a bunch of workarounds. Building quotes using the CPQ module is intuitive, e-signature is built-in, and once a deal gets signed the billing schedules and invoices follow on naturally. It’s a smooth process from quote to payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequence?

Nothing big. There are edge cases that can require help, but the support team is responsive and the issues we’ve raised have tended to show up on the roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sequence consolidated our quoting, contracts, billing, and invoicing into a single system. Instead of stitching together multiple products, we can handle them in one workflow. For a usage-based model like ours, that means fewer manual steps and far more confidence in what we do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
