very self explanitory, simple sweet and to the point

Not able to have the company phone number linked to it.

We were able to instantly start using it and communicating with our customers via text since it is 2024 and most people today communicate or will respond quicker to a text message then a phone call or voicemail

I like the notification system. I never miss a text message as the system pings whenever we get new messages and pings whenever we need to read an unread message.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

The previous interface for zipwhip was a bit easier in terms of seeing all the texts on one page. Also when we change the view of the messages, we find it hard to set that as a default for each time we login

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

The Chat to Text feature is perfect for us. I don't know how I'd never seen this before, but it's brilliant! We don't offer support that requires access to our website, so the ability for customers to start a chat on our page and continue it by SMS text is super convenient.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I initially had concerns about the use of a Chrome extension for implementation. However, after trying out a few competitors and comparing, I discovered that this feature is actually extremely important to the way it is able to notify the correct users to maintain more streamlined communications with our clients.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SMS is a preferred method of communication for our clients and Text Request has awesome features to allow us to serve our customers effectively and efficiently. Most of the SMS services that integrated with HubSpot did not allow users to operate with text messages as you would expect. Message notifications would only prompt a contact owner so if an inbound text was sent to any other HubSpot user, they correct employee would  not be notified, and this was a deal breaker. Thankfully TextRequest operates differently by utilizing a chome extension to manage and integrate communications within HubSpot. So regardless of who is assigned to which contact record, if a client or prospect sends you the text, you will be notified.

It solves the issues of not knowing if patients are receiving the messages we leaving. With text request it sends notice allowing us to see if message was delivered or not

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I really like the stop and opt out service, makes it very professional and easy for cleints to ensure they want to be contacted. I also enjoy the group messaging abilities to reach large amounts of people at one time. There are so many more features as well but those 2 are my favorite.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I believe some of the interface can be difficult to navigate or learn in the beginning, but as with everything, it takes time to adapt. Once understood the interface can be nice to work with but there is just a lot of moving parts compared to other more simple services I have used in the past.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the communication gap between myself and the clients I service. By allowing me to communicate via sms and converse instantly with clients, I can work with more people in a more efficient manner.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

We'd used Zipwhip for years. It was unreliable and inconsistent. After just a few months with TR, we have now realized what a superior product is really like. This is by far, what a texting app should be like!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

There is a bit of a lag between send and receive. Also, if we've place a landline number in the text, it shows as undelivered. However the bad part is the exclamation ❗️ sign causes a message indicator on the icon for the app. You mistakenly look and look for the missed text. 

If I might suggest, if you have the ability to search a failed delivered, of course after the fact against a cellular carrier lookup; you could provide us with a warning ⚠️ and then eliminate the false delivery flag. Just thinking.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I love the capabilities of text templates and mass texting. We use templates to respond to common questions and use mass texting for confirmations or even employee reminders. I also love the merge capabilities so we can insert date and time for appointment confirmations. I also love that we can have multiple dashboards within the same account, but assign users only to the dashboards they need to work in.  I've recommended this platform to so many people and truly love it! Oh - and we have it incorporated with all of our website chats too.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

The issue we have is with having multiple dashboards, if you're not "on/in" the one that receives an incoming text, you don't know. So - we constantly have to rotate between our 10 dashboards to check if we have new messages that need responding too. It would be helpful to have a pop up or something for all dashboards to notify you.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

Group messaging and scheduled messaging. Ease of access to sending out group messages. Easy to use and able to keep moving. Just better in general as a whole and no major problems.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Message sending errors every week. Significant delays in messaging. It's always needing to be fixed. Yes, a permanent solution needs to happen so that the mistakes get corrected permanently, not as a temporary band-aid.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management regarding the ability to continue doing the rest of my job but still knowing that my messages are being sent to my team. I feel that my performance has been enhanced.

I get multiple sound notifications of new messages, even when all messages are already marked as read.

Cost can get expensive if you text frequently. Onboarding can be tricky too.

Love using Text Request as it allows all members of my team to access one inbox. The switch over to Text Request from another messaging service was simple and quick. Customer service is easily accessible, and was very helpful in getting the service in compliance with regulations for a business. We use it daily!

I have not come across anything that I dislike about the service.

I am able to use my business phone number to text, and not having to outsource an additional number. That way customers don't get confused when I am texting them.

I wish it was easier to send out reminders texts to patients en mass. Pulling a list from our EHR and then loading it into TR and then creating the scheduled message..it's a few steps. I also can't put the time of their appt as it's not the same for the "mass" of patients for that day. I've had to pair down my reminders and make them more generic.

Ability for more staff and providers to use 2 way texting - much easier to use than Solutionreach

Text request is such a user-friendly platform and has many helpful tips on Linkedin and the customer service is phenomenal! When first using Text Request it is so straightforward. I didn't need a list of things that showed me how to use the platform it was simple enough that I dove right in!
I love that they have Chrome extension, an application, or you can use it straight from the web browser.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I haven't found a downside yet but if I do I will be sure to let you know...

We are in the Healthcare field and we use Text Request to contact our patients about their visits, scheduling, billing etc.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I enjoy making use of Text Request's Group Messaging function. It allows me to message multiple clients at one time, while Text Request also provides me tools to use to prevent my messages from being marked as spam, which is very helpful when maintaining prompt communication! I also enjoyed Text Request's assistance that they provided us when we made our switch from Zipwhip to Text Request. They're guidance was appreciated as we made the switch and implemented its use into our workflow. We rely on Text Request daily, and are using it often at each hour of our business hours. It was not difficult to integrate the software into our workplace devices with our contact transferred over from Zipwhip.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Sometimes when on the "Conversations" tab, I search a number of a client that I had previously messaged, and they do not appear when I search for them while on this tab in particular. I've found that certain contacts only appear when searching from them within the "Contacts" tab, even though I've exchanged messages with them and created a text conversation with them in the past. It's confusing why some of these conversations do not appear in the "Conversations" tab when I search for them.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text Request jumped in when we most needed an alternative messaging software. When Zipwhip was reaching its end-of-life, we were skeptical of making a switch to another company out of fears of potential difficulty transferring data to a new platform. Text Request was a great help along the way, and I'm pleased with their product.

I have not been able to set a layout for when I am using the app. Every time I go to TR it is the general layout and this one does not feel really comfortable to me. As well, it would also be really helpful to have a filter to see conversations in which I am involved only.

I appreciate the various ways to organize the inbox in TextRequest and contacts to make it easier to send messages to certain individuals. Overall, it's a good platform for our company since we were just trying to replace a discontinued software. Sending and receiving different document types is a very cool aspect to the program as well.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

We have had a few staffers complain about bugs in the mobile version of the app; one is not getting notifications consistently and the other has to reset their phone to see new messages. I have noticed on the desktop, I will need to refresh my browser periodically to see new messages and there sometimes is a delay.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a product that would provide 1:1 communication with our employees and this product has been great at providing just that.

They have pretty good customer service; I usually get a reply to any questions within 24 hours. It was very easy to use the ZipWhip Integration tool to move our contacts over. Also, it was easy to learn how to use it and teach others how to use it.

We use TextRequest every day. We receive a lot of texts every day. Every single one of those texts in every conversation goes to every user's app. Our technicians are being inundated with notifications that don't apply to them whatsoever. Not only is it annoying, but it makes it very difficult to recognize when a message needs a certain person's attention. Additionally, the type and number of features they offer are not nearly as good as their competitors. Do not let the low price fool you. When considering this product, I was promised much more than what I've gotten.

Because ZipWhip was shutting down, we needed somewhere to move our messaging platform and fast. Text Request definitely sends and receives messages just fine. However it ended up being not what we were expecting nor what we needed.

Texting is a vital part of my small business; it is integral to client retention. We are able to catch and correct customer issues quickly and efficiently...having my office staff all able to monitor incoming texts is great, so we can all "stay on the same page." I also like the feature where we can attach PDFs to a text. My previous text service required us to use Snipping Tool to shrink the Mb of an attachment, so Text Request saves us time with accepting regular PDFs...and their customer support is quick and responsive.

We are still getting full up to speed with the functionality.

Our prior texting service made us shrink the mb of an attachment, but with TQ there is no wasted time and energy having to Snip a PDF to reduce the mb.

I think text request is a good resource for business to organize the way they speak with clients. I also can appreciate that you can pre make certain files to send for specific clients with unique situations. We use it every day and I am not sure of any other program that could do its job.

The only thing I have experienced an issue with is the file size we can send to our clients when sending estimates or pictures.

I believe it is helping solve the issue of having a gap in client communication. It doesnt necessarily benefit me directly but i know it is easier for our clients to recieve a text during their work day than having to stop what they are doing to answer a phone call.

I like that as a company we have the ability to see other employees communication with borrowers in case someone is out. That feature makes its easier for everyone to stay in the loop without having to irritate the borrower to explain the situation mulituple times
